Gaiien Region: Mewtwins: Droit and Gauche

Keleri In the Gods and Demons universe, there exist seven Mewtwo. It's a squabbling little family* made up of Primus, the first Mewtwo, who was made for the Pokemon War and who stopped it; his children Apollyon, Invictus, Iris, and Dercetis; and Iris's children, Chausseur-Droit and Chausseur-Gauche, Ranger-Pokémon and veterans of many of the major legendary and daikaiju Pokemon showdowns of the last few decades.

Droit is more special attack-oriented, smaller and more Mew-like than his sister. Gauche is, of course, what you get when you fully attack EV train a Mewtwo (lol). I like the way their faces turned out, with Droit channeling that slightly grotesque grey alien look, while Gauche has a friendlier, more prognathic skull. Droit looks a little more severe here than he is in the story, although there is an element of "Gauche, what have you done now" in his adventures.

As Ranger-Pokemon they have the strength and acuity to operate without a human trainer, and they can operate alone or in teams to bring down dangerous wild or out-of-control Pokemon. They also carry cameras and other sensing equipment into battle to send valuable data back for analysis on the fly or for long-term research.

Droit and Gauche are secretly/not-so-secretly resentful of their more famous aunts and uncle: Invictus is one of the most powerful Pokemon alive, such that the highest level tournaments basically exist for her and a handful of other legendary and pseudolegendary Pokemon, and she has an enormous fanbase and wide recognition. Dercetis is a business mogul and has been accused of manipulating markets using ill-defined psychic methods, and Apollyon is Really Spooky. Meanwhile, the hardworking Ranger Mewtwo get no recognition. Ain't no justice.

*Legendary Pokemon can breed in the Gods and Demons universe; Pokemon don't have physical sexes (and can be any gender). Legendaries need a huge energy input to breed, however, such that major parents with an egg ("mothers") usually collect energy from multiple minor parents ("fathers"). Droit and Gauche have multiple "fathers", inheriting energy from a number of different legendaries.
