Mewtwo: And Bass, Dr. Wily's greatest Robot Master with a drive to become the strongest.

Eeveechu: Today, we'll be pitting these two against each other in a fight to the finish. An end-all battle. A Clash of Code.
Sismic: He might know everything Sonic's going to do, but that won't help him since Sonic knows everything HE'S going to do! STRANGE, ISN'T IT?!
Eeveechu151: Metal Sonic remains one of Sonic's most dangerous foes - and Dr. Eggman's most powerful weapon against Sonic... just as long as Dr. Eggman can keep his badnik from turning on him! Metal Sonic was the brainchild of Dr. Eggman and by far his greatest Badnik enemy robot creation. Designed by the Doctor for the sole purpose of defeating his greatest enemy, Sonic the Hedgehog, Metal Sonic was outfitted with the strongest equipment. He's taken attacks from the all-powerful Ifrit, survived in a harsh dimension of nothingness for weeks, and clawed his way off of Little Planet while BARELY functioning.
Pain: Metal also has a wide variety of moves. Like his original template, Metal can perform the Spin Dash, Spin Jump, Homing Attack, and Light Speed Dash (by extension, also the Light Speed Attack). He can also use moves original to him, i.e. the Black Shield, the Plasma Pulse, the Ring Spark Field, and the V. Maximum Overdrive, an attack which propels him forwards at incredible speeds while granting him short-term invincibility and severely damaging anyone and anything close to him. He can also match the speed of Sonic himself! Since Sonic has clocked in at a casual running speed of 767 miles per hour, Metal is able to reach the same.
Argo: But that's not all! During the events of Sonic 4: Episode Metal, Metal Sonic absorbed an artifact which granted him free will. He used this free will to transform into Neo Metal Sonic, which can copy and perfectly replicate techniques used by others such as Espio the Chameleon's Chroma Camo, Silver the Hedgehog's ESP, Knuckles the Echidna's Hammer Punch, and even Shadow the Hedgehog's Chaos Control.
Sismic: His free will even allowed him to take control of the Eggman Empire for a short time, disguising himself as Dr. Eggman. This allows him to be able to call upon the Egg Fleet, a legion of the doctor's war ships, and Silver Sonic. Silver Sonic is the very first Sonic Robot created to destroy Sonic. Silver isn't as refined and/or as fast as Metal, but he is bulkier and tougher. The power needed to run him is incredibly high, which is why the Doctor decided to power him with a Chaos Emerald. Since Chaos Emeralds have infinite Chaos Energy, it's the perfect battery.
Eeveechu: But Metal still has yet ANOTHER ace up his sleeve! If Metal Sonic can gather enough power and material, he can transform into the Metal Overlord. In this form, Metal can freeze time with an advanced form of Chaos Control, take attacks from Super Sonic, and blast anyone and anything standing in his way with the Crystal Blast or a Hyper Beam.
Pain: There's a reason why Metal is one of Sonic's most dangerous foes - he was created to be stronger than the blue blur in every way!

Pain: What happens when the arch-nemesis of the Super Fighting Robot builds a robot exclusively to destroy Mega Man?
Sismic: Obviously he takes things to the extreme and back, rebels against his creator, and becomes motivated by nothing but a drive to become the strongest robot in the world!
Eeveechu: SWN-001, known as Bass, is a Robot Master created by the evil Dr. Albert Wily to match and surpass Mega Man in every way. However, unlike Metal, that didn't really work... Seeing as Bass has yet to beat Mega Man even ONCE. Being meant to replicate Mega Man's skills, he was given three tools of destruction similar to the ones in Mega Man's arsenal; the Bass Buster (a replica of the Mega Buster), a copy chip (like the one Rock has) and Treble, Bass' robot dog (meant to replicate Rush). The Bass Buster is actually better than the Mega Buster, since he can shoot with it in seven directions. Far better than Rock, compared to the one direction Mega Man can shoot in.
Mewtwo: The copy chip allows Bass to use the techniques of any Robot Master he's defeated. We're giving him the powers of half of the Robot Masters from Mega Man & Bass and Mega Man 10. This means he can use the Tengu Blade, the Remote Mine, The Ice Wall, The Wheel Cutter, The Spread Drill, The Lightning Bolt, The Magic Card and The Thunder Wool.
Argo: But the copy chip doesn't stop there. When Bass gets low, he can fuse with Treble to create Super Bass.
Argo: As Super Bass, Bass has the power of flight, and his strength increases. Bass has the ability to fire either a regular charged shot or a rocket punch, as opposed to just the rocket punch. Bass can also shoot powerful charge shots and laser beams. These beams can be fired in 7 directions. Except for right behind him... ironic, isn't it?
Pain: Treble can also fight on his own, being able to shot lasers out of his mouth and dashing at enemies with high speed, even allowing Bass to ride on his back while it flies. But we can't forget the greatest thing that Treble can do. He can turn into a car for Bass to ride.
Eeveechu: Bass is a Martial Arts-man, possessing many special kicks and punches. Some of which are his front kick and somersault kick. Bass has been shown to posses the ability to release energy in the form of an aura that usually suspends him in the air. Even in the face of danger, Bass always has time for his ego.
Bass: I don't care about justice or peace! Who's the strongest? That's my only concern.
Eeveechu: Yeah... Bass is cocky. Here cares for almost nothing except winning a fight and proving himself to be the strongest. This sometimes get the best of him.
Mewtwo: But that ego is justified. My friend (calculator) and I were able to find out something pretty interesting about Bass' armor. We know that Bass is powered by Bassium. But, what is Bassium? We know it's a strong, mostly infinite, and probably radioactive power source. So, I found a real world equivalent, in the form of Gamma Rays. But, how strong are Gamma Rays?
Tom: Well, 1 Kilogram of mass is equal to 1 Coulomb of Gamma. So, comparing heights to Mega Man, who is 4'4, I found that Bass is 4'10, or 58 inches. I also found that 58 Inches of Bassnium is equal to 2.85763193 Kilograms. So Bass is powered by about 3 Coulombs of Gamma.
Eeveechu: Your friend is a calculator? That's kinda sad. Anyways... In a nutshell, Bass is a radioactive, egotistical, robot that can fuse with a dog.
Sismic: What else could you want? Because you know I'm all about that Bass, bout' that Bass, no Treble- I'll show my self to the door.
Bass: What I've fought for? That is ridiculous. I don't need a reason to fight. I have and am going to fight only to destroy Mega Man!
Pain: Alright, the contenders are set!
Mewtwo: From Mobius and from Mega City!
Sismic: It's time to settle this... with a Clash of Code!
WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP
Metal Sonic raced through the Wily Castle, annihilating dozens of robots on his way. He had detected a Chaos Emerald, and was determined to get it for Dr. Eggman. He crashed into a large room with the purple Chaos Emerald plugged into a machine. Metal stepped forwards... and was then knocked back by a charged shot from Bass.
"You get three warnings. One two three." Bass fired away at Metal, but the cybernetic hedgehog dodged, jetting to the other side of the room.

A glint appeared in Metal's eye as the automaton prepared for battle.

Eeveechu: BATTLE BEGIN!
Metal fired off his Plasma Pulse, but Bass dodged by rolling behind a box. The Robot Master then fired a charged shot at Metal, which was blocked by the Black Shield. Metal charged forwards... but was forced to pull back, lest he be hit by the Spread Drill. However, he was soon shocked by the Lightning Bolt.
"My Buster ain't the only weapon I got, you know!" Bass said, dashing forwards with Tengu Blade. The weapon slashed at Metal, but the robot erected his Black Shield in time to block most of the damage. Bass looked up to see Metal with a sparking field of energy around him, and dashed out of the way just in time to avoid getting hit by the Ring Spark Field. Bass set down an Ice Wall, but that couldn't stop Metal from charging through... and landing right in the middle of a pile of Remote Mines.

With a loud boom, the mines exploded. Metal hadn't put his shield up in time, so he crashed against the wall. He was getting angry.

Metal noticed that Bass could only use one weapon at a time, and his armor changed color when he did. That was useful information. The blue 'bot flew forwards with an aerial Light Speed Dash, flying right up next to Bass and slashing at him. Bass unleashed another Tengu Blade, which Metal dodged. Bass let off some Magic Cards, pinning Metal to the wall. But he simply disentegrated the cards with the Ring Spark Field. He Spin-Dashed through another Ice Wall, getting shocked by two Thunder Wool clouds that had floated into the air. Bass then charged at Metal, kicking him. He then stuck him to the wall with four Magic Cards, and before the robot could react he had been blasted by a full arsenal of Bass' weapons. Fire surrounded where the robot had stuck, and Bass nodded. He turned around and began to walk away... but saw the Chaos Emerald was now being taken by a new Sonic robot. Silver Sonic had entered the playing field, ready to rumble. Bass had wasted his weapons' ammo on blasting Metal, so all he had at the moment was his Buster. Bass called his dog Treble, who dashed into the playing field. The robot crashed into Silver Sonic, but it barely left a dent. Metal Sonic was now slowly getting up from the battle, recharging and activating his self-repair systems.

Metal, injured, jetted towards the Chaos Emerald. Treble dashed in front, snarling. Silver Sonic began to walk towards Treble, but stumbled after being hit with a charged shot by Bass. The original Sonic robot spin-dashed towards the Wily bot, knowing he was the bigger target. Metal dodged around Bass, grabbing the Chaos Emerald... which is when Treble shot lasers at Metal, piercing his shell. He threatened to tear the whole thing off. Silver Sonic spun towards Bass, who dodged and fired another charged shot. Silver Sonic took a bit of damage, but not enough to stop it from rolling right into Bass. The Wily bot was sent off his feet, but charged another shot. He fired it... and then noticed the ammo refill pack in front of him. Enough to fire off one Tengu Blade. Silver Sonic rolled at Bass, trying to take him down again...
...but the robot was slashed apart by the Tengu Blade.
What was left of Silver's ruptured frame exploded in a fiery ball, blasting Bass across the room. He was now completely out of ammo for anything but his Bass Buster. He watched at Metal jetted over to the remains, tearing Treble off his leg. The robot landed right next to the green Chaos Emerald that had landed right at his feet. Smiling, Metal began to absorb the Emeralds' power. They spun around, crackling. Metal eventually lit up with a bright light. Sensing what was happening, Bass called over Treble. It was time to fuse into Super Bass.
That was when Metal finished transforming.
"Kneel before your master."
Neo Metal Sonic awakened, his cape flowing in the wind. The battle had mostly destroyed the domed lab, which was now unrecognizable. Bass finished transforming, Super Bass being unleashed. The two were now ready to enter their final bout.
Neo Metal sped forwards, trying to slash at Bass and get a first hit in at incredible speed. However, Bass flew up and blasted away. Metal followed, also possessing the power of flight. Bass was flying upwards, trying to get some distance between the two. However, he soon found he wasn't moving. Then he found himself hurtling down towards the ground. Neo had used Silver's ESP on Bass. Metal flung Bass all around the battlefield, hurting him on whatever he could find. Bass got up, charging a shot. He fired, and Neo Metal deflected it. Bass fired another, and Metal sent it right back at the Wily bot. Bass flew out of the way, dodging his own shot. Metal sped after him, flying faster and Hammer Punching him. Bass counter-attacked with a kick, landing right across the faceplate. The two exchanged blows furiously, finally ending with Bass sliding under Metal's punch and Somersault Kicking him into the air. Bass charged a shot and prepared to fire at him as he fell... but that moment never came, because Metal teleported away with Chaos Control. Bass scanned the area, trying to find his foe. Suddenly, he was struck with a flurry of punches. Metal had Chroma Camo up, making him invisible. Bass shot Metal, using his "ears" to find his location. Metal flew back, deactivating the camo. He then flew up, Bass following. Metal sagged behind, allowing Bass to gain more altitude. This allowed Bass to fire directly at Metal... who took the shot head-on, and turned into a pile of silver goo before reforming into Neo Metal Sonic once again.
"Just... WHAT ARE YOU?!"
"Your superior." Neo said, raising a hand. "I've had fun, playing with you. But now it's time to end this game."
That's when the Egg Fleet appeared.
Bass instantly took off, a flurry of shots trying to blast him. He turned around and shot at one of the ships, clipping a wing and taking it down. Metal then flew up, energy crackling around him. "You should have knelt when I gave you the chance." Metal said, seemingly ABSORBING the Egg Fleet. After a few seconds, he had transformed into the Metal Overlord.
"HOLY SH-" Bass never got a chance to finish, as Metal Overlord blasted Super Bass with the main laser, destroying him completely.
KO!
The Metal Overlord collapsed, finished. Metal Sonic, holding the two Chaos Emeralds, emerged triumphantly.

Mewtwo: So true. This was a complete stomp! ...despite how Eeveechu wrote it.
Eeveechu: Hey, I tried to make it interesting! Just having him get killed instantly wouldn't have been that fun, or made for an intriguing and intense match. Anyways, they're right. Bass had almost no chance against Metal.
Sismic: Shall I pull up the chart?
Eeveechu: Please.
Eeveechu: Yeah... complete stomp. Metal edged out in almost every category. Metal has tanked stronger things than Bass ever has, or will. He's a robot Sonic, so he's obviously head of the Speed game. Bass may have had more weapons, but Metal's arsenal was just... better. And Metal's strength and abilities were far beyond anything Bass could hope to achieve.
Argo: Super Bass may have been able to hold out against Neo Metal Sonic for a while, but as soon as the Egg Fleet came out, it was decided. And do we even have to say anything about Metal Overlord?
Sismic: Yeah... Bass was finished the minute he fired that first shot. I remember when Eeveechu first classed this battle, he said he'd thought it'd be at least kind of close. Not even! Not even at all.
Pain: Hey Mewtwo! It seems that Metal is great at music.
Mewtwo: Really? Why do you figure that?
Pain: Because Metal just dropped the Bass!
Mewtwo: ...
Eeveechu: The winner is Metal Sonic.

Bass looked up to see Metal with a sparking field of energy around him, and dashed out of the way just in time to avoid getting hit by the Ring Spark Field. Bass set down an Ice Wall, but that couldn't stop Metal from charging through... and landing right in the middle of a pile of Remote Mines.

With a loud boom, the mines exploded. Metal hadn't put his shield up in time, so he crashed against the wall. He was getting angry.

Metal noticed that Bass could only use one weapon at a time, and his armor changed color when he did. That was useful information. The blue 'bot flew forwards with an aerial Light Speed Dash, flying right up next to Bass and slashing at him. Bass unleashed another Tengu Blade, which Metal dodged. Bass let off some Magic Cards, pinning Metal to the wall. But he simply disentegrated the cards with the Ring Spark Field. He Spin-Dashed through another Ice Wall, getting shocked by two Thunder Wool clouds that had floated into the air. Bass then charged at Metal, kicking him. He then stuck him to the wall with four Magic Cards, and before the robot could react he had been blasted by a full arsenal of Bass' weapons. Fire surrounded where the robot had stuck, and Bass nodded. He turned around and began to walk away... but saw the Chaos Emerald was now being taken by a new Sonic robot. Silver Sonic had entered the playing field, ready to rumble. Bass had wasted his weapons' ammo on blasting Metal, so all he had at the moment was his Buster. Bass called his dog Treble, who dashed into the playing field. The robot crashed into Silver Sonic, but it barely left a dent. Metal Sonic was now slowly getting up from the battle, recharging and activating his self-repair systems.

Metal, injured, jetted towards the Chaos Emerald. Treble dashed in front, snarling. Silver Sonic began to walk towards Treble, but stumbled after being hit with a charged shot by Bass. The original Sonic robot spin-dashed towards the Wily bot, knowing he was the bigger target. Metal dodged around Bass, grabbing the Chaos Emerald... which is when Treble shot lasers at Metal, piercing his shell. He threatened to tear the whole thing off. Silver Sonic spun towards Bass, who dodged and fired another charged shot. Silver Sonic took a bit of damage, but not enough to stop it from rolling right into Bass. The Wily bot was sent off his feet, but charged another shot. He fired it... and then noticed the ammo refill pack in front of him. Enough to fire off one Tengu Blade. Silver Sonic rolled at Bass, trying to take him down again...
...but the robot was slashed apart by the Tengu Blade.
What was left of Silver's ruptured frame exploded in a fiery ball, blasting Bass across the room. He was now completely out of ammo for anything but his Bass Buster. He watched at Metal jetted over to the remains, tearing Treble off his leg. The robot landed right next to the green Chaos Emerald that had landed right at his feet. Smiling, Metal began to absorb the Emeralds' power. They spun around, crackling. Metal eventually lit up with a bright light. Sensing what was happening, Bass called over Treble. It was time to fuse into Super Bass.
That was when Metal finished transforming.
"Kneel before your master."
Neo Metal Sonic awakened, his cape flowing in the wind. The battle had mostly destroyed the domed lab, which was now unrecognizable. Bass finished transforming, Super Bass being unleashed. The two were now ready to enter their final bout.
Neo Metal sped forwards, trying to slash at Bass and get a first hit in at incredible speed. However, Bass flew up and blasted away. Metal followed, also possessing the power of flight. Bass was flying upwards, trying to get some distance between the two. However, he soon found he wasn't moving. Then he found himself hurtling down towards the ground. Neo had used Silver's ESP on Bass. Metal flung Bass all around the battlefield, hurting him on whatever he could find. Bass got up, charging a shot. He fired, and Neo Metal deflected it. Bass fired another, and Metal sent it right back at the Wily bot. Bass flew out of the way, dodging his own shot. Metal sped after him, flying faster and Hammer Punching him. Bass counter-attacked with a kick, landing right across the faceplate. The two exchanged blows furiously, finally ending with Bass sliding under Metal's punch and Somersault Kicking him into the air. Bass charged a shot and prepared to fire at him as he fell... but that moment never came, because Metal teleported away with Chaos Control. Bass scanned the area, trying to find his foe. Suddenly, he was struck with a flurry of punches. Metal had Chroma Camo up, making him invisible. Bass shot Metal, using his "ears" to find his location. Metal flew back, deactivating the camo. He then flew up, Bass following. Metal sagged behind, allowing Bass to gain more altitude. This allowed Bass to fire directly at Metal... who took the shot head-on, and turned into a pile of silver goo before reforming into Neo Metal Sonic once again.
"Just... WHAT ARE YOU?!"
"Your superior." Neo said, raising a hand. "I've had fun, playing with you. But now it's time to end this game."
That's when the Egg Fleet appeared.
Bass instantly took off, a flurry of shots trying to blast him. He turned around and shot at one of the ships, clipping a wing and taking it down. Metal then flew up, energy crackling around him. "You should have knelt when I gave you the chance." Metal said, seemingly ABSORBING the Egg Fleet. After a few seconds, he had transformed into the Metal Overlord.
"HOLY SH-" Bass never got a chance to finish, as Metal Overlord blasted Super Bass with the main laser, destroying him completely.
KO!
The Metal Overlord collapsed, finished. Metal Sonic, holding the two Chaos Emeralds, emerged triumphantly.

>>Wily Castle destroyed
>>Mission accomplished
Meanwhile, Eggman sat laughing triumphantly in his control room.
...while Wily was crying over the loss of Bass.
Argo: Well, there was only one way this was going to go.
Mewtwo: So true. This was a complete stomp! ...despite how Eeveechu wrote it.
Eeveechu: Hey, I tried to make it interesting! Just having him get killed instantly wouldn't have been that fun, or made for an intriguing and intense match. Anyways, they're right. Bass had almost no chance against Metal.
Sismic: Shall I pull up the chart?
Eeveechu: Please.
Argo: Super Bass may have been able to hold out against Neo Metal Sonic for a while, but as soon as the Egg Fleet came out, it was decided. And do we even have to say anything about Metal Overlord?
Sismic: Yeah... Bass was finished the minute he fired that first shot. I remember when Eeveechu first classed this battle, he said he'd thought it'd be at least kind of close. Not even! Not even at all.
Pain: Hey Mewtwo! It seems that Metal is great at music.
Mewtwo: Really? Why do you figure that?
Pain: Because Metal just dropped the Bass!
Mewtwo: ...
Eeveechu: The winner is Metal Sonic.
