I call it Merlago, a Pokémon based on the hippocampus, a creature in Greek mythology. Mere means water in Greek (and it’s pronounced the same as Mare, a female horse) and lago meaning horse in Greek. Water horse. It’s a poison type because in Greek resonance art it is depicted with claws similar to an alligators on its webbed front hoops, so I gave Marlago two pointed front claws/hooves that are poisonous. Before you tell me I put a lot of effort into this, all I did was google mythical creatures and find a hippocampus and then do 5 minutes of research on Wikipedia. The most time consuming part was drawing it.
