It was October, October the 12th, 2013. Today I'm turning 10-years-old, and I just moved here from a region faraway, to Vaniville Town, Kalos. I slept, dreaming away in my pink bed, just when Fletchling came in and pecked me real hard, waking me up. It hurt, but I got used to it. Then I got out of bed, looking at my pink-themed room. My bedroom was all pink, of course because I'm a girl. I looked at the mirror, seeing my pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes. And within seconds, I quick changed! After I changed clothes, I went downstairs. Mom said,
"Good morning, sweetie! Are you all rested up from the move?"
"Yeah, I guess. Fletchling painfully pecked me but it didn't hurt that much."
"Good! Anyways, I'll tell you some news, your neighbors that are going to be your friends and rivals in your journey are coming over!"
"Thanks for the news, Mom! I'll have to go, bye mom!"
"Bye!"
I waved Mom and Fletching goodbye and then set off for my journey. When I got out of my house, 2 trainers were standing at my door. The girl said,
"Hi! Welcome to Vaniville Town, Kalos! So you're Kokoro Heart? That's a cute name! My name's Shauna!"
"Don't worry about Shauna, she's a bit overexcited and hyped about everything!"
"Don't worry, I like people with enthusiasm."
"Anyways, my name is Calem."
"We are going to get our starter Pokémon at Aquacorde Town! How cool is that?!
"That's cool!"
Wow! They're so friendly! We can have a friendly rivalry! Anyways, we went from Vaniville Town, to Route 1, and finally Aquacorde Town! There was 2 other trainers, but this time both of them were boys. I sat down, and then Shauna introduced me to them,
"So, Kokoro, this is Tierno and Trevor. They're our friends. Tierno is a great friend because he loves to dance and party! Trevor is shy, but always gets good grades on his tests because he's smart!"
"Wow! Shauna's description was spot-on! You know, it'd feel like we're a closer crew if we call each other nicknames! Can I call you Lady K?"
"No way! She's a Lil' K for sure!"
"How about you, Trevor?"
"What?! You want me to nickname someone I just met?! Shauna, you shouldn't put people on the spot like this. But maybe something more low-key, like K-kins?"
"I've got this. You should decide what we should call you."
"Cookies n' Cream!"
"Well, Cookies n' Cream it is! That's a cute name!"
"Tierno, can you show us the Pokémon? I want to see my new starter!"
"Ok!"
Tierno grabbed a box with 3 Poké Balls in the box. One of them is Chespin, one of them is Fennekin, and the last one is Froakie. The choice was hard, but I had to do it. So I grabbed a Poké Ball.
