Kanto Adventure!

It is the night before a big test at Pokémon school, and Tom is not using his time wisely.
“ You can do it Onix! Come on! Yeah!” He shouted.
Now, this was not him battling another trainer, but a battle in the Indigo League. Tom had been inspired by his father who had been a Pokémon trainer when he was a kid. Now he wanted to become one.

Just then, his mother comes in.
“Honey, have you done your homework?” She asked very doubtful.
“ Um, yeah sure mom.” He replies, even though he had not even touched it since he had come back from school.
“Sure you did little bro!” Shouted his older brother from his room.
“Tom, we have talked about this. School comes first, then Pokémon. Ok?” She says very sternly while unplugging the TV.
“Hey! What was that for?” Tom whines.
“Tom. It is time that you start prioritizing things. I know you want to become a Pokémon trainer like your father, but remember, he became a Pokémon trainer because he got straight A’s in class.”
His father, who was now a member of The Elite Four of the Kanto region, had said that Tom would become an amazing Pokémon trainer one day. That was his goal.That was his dream. That was his destiny.





Tom had a dream where he became the Pokémon master of all the regions and became THE Pokémon master of the whole Pokémon world! He had every single Pokémon known in his house. He could take on any trainer and beat him without even trying. I am not saying that this will happen, but who knows... there is a whole world of possibilities out there... but back to the story. But one day, Tom came upon a Pokémon that was stronger then any Pokémon. Maybe even stronger then all of them combined. A Pokémon so ancient, that it has been confused with lots of Pokémon before. He tried to catch it but the Ultra ball bounced right of it. With one twitch of its finger, it had made Tom move so close to it, that he could see the back of its throat.
“ You listen to me Tom Fireblade. If you do not respect Pokémon or the planet, it will not respect you. Giving you nothing. Providing you with nothing. And doing nothing for you. The world of Pokémon is more dangerous then you think. But it is also more beautiful than you, or anyone could ever imagine. Everything has its balance. Don’t rock the boat,”

Tom woke with a start. He looked at his alarm clock, which was now on the floor broken. Along with his pokeball.
“Huh, what do you know. I do have sleep disorder.” He whispered.
He looked at his watch which was not broken.
“ 8:30am! I’m late for school!” He realized to slowly.
It then dawned on him that not only had he woken up late, but that he had a test today! And he hadn’t studied one question!
“I’m doomed.” Tom said miserably.
There was a prize for the first three winners on the test. Even though he didn’t know what the prize was, not could tell that it was good. His school never handed out prizes unless they needed to. Tom knew he had to get to school quickly.
The only solution: his rusty bike that had belonged to his dad. That is, before it got burned by a Turtonator. He got his things together, got his bike, and biked all the way to his school. By the time the bell rang 9:00, Tom was in the building and racing to class. When he sat down, he was immediately told that he was late.
“Well look who decided to show up. If it isn’t Tom Fireblade. Your dad would have been disappointed if you had failed the test. But he would have been down right furious about you sleeping in and missing it! Hahahaahahahaha!” Mr.Masters chuckled.
“Okay. Now that everyone is here, let the test begin!” Exclaimed Mr. Masters.
Tom was hopeless.
