Life Lessons with Ry: I Didnt Have the Motivation to Come up with a Cooler Title

by Ry_Burst

Ry_Burst @CosmicDreams. I'm sorry about the late response. I've been busy, and I haven't had a good amount of time until recently on my computer to finish it. But here it is.
Motivation itself is a very fluid topic. For every person it's different, and over time, individual motivation changes. For example, when I was growing up my motivation to not screw up and work, so my parents won't spank me. Nowadays, that's not my motivation.

@CosmicDreams asked me to help him find motivation, and that's what I'm going to do. But first and foremost as have to say a few things about motivation. Motivation is a very infinite and very definite idea. Sounds paradoxical, huh? Well in a sense it is. Let me explain.

Motivation, like I said previously takes many shapes on forms. And there is levels to how each form of motivation affects your individual life and way of living. Infinite levels in fact. But it still has one basic fact. Motivation has the same definite purpose. It's the fire under your belly, the reason you fight, the cause you awaken to, every day.

Now, Motivation can be hard to find, since as we all know it takes countless forms and is different for everyone, but it is still possible. You need to sit down and think, why do I do the things I do? For example, say you play a team sport, and you work very hard every practice so you can play on game day. That's your motivation, playing on game day.

Now say, you’re a writer. Finding a reason to write is much harder. It's less obvious and depends on you to evaluate your mind. My motivation is to not only make people smile but make keep any promises I say, about writing something.

Of course some of you are thinking, “But Ry, I don't do anything. I have no hobbies, I have no plausible motivation.” Well, think about it. Do you want to graduate school, and do something? Game Designer, Doctor, Police Officer, Ninja, Taco Bell Employee? No? Then make something your motivation.

And finally, there's they final idea, that you don't know what to do. You can't make anything your motivation. Well, you're aren't out of the woods yet. You don't have to have a definite motivation. You don't have to know your reason for what you do, but instead just do it. As you go along, you'll learn more about yourself, and you will be able to sit down and figure out what you fight for.

I'm sorry, if this didn't help those who are reading. If it did help, I'm glad. If you have any more questions let me know in the comments or as a PM. It can be a serious question or something more fun and random you thought would be interesting to ask me.

Thanks. This did actually help, I already have some ideas to spend my time with my life. This time I'm gonna ask a more random question, since this is fun and helpful. Things to do when you're bored? Let's say you're talking with your friends and have nothing to do. Do you have any suggestions?
