So, I woke up this morning, heard Pokemon Sword and Shield got announced, and despite having a D&D campaign to prep for(Ironic considering the whole Medival Weapons theme) , I knew I had to draw something to commemorate the occasion. The region seems cool, definitely a different feel then any Pokemon game we got so for, it almost feels like Sinnoh, but not quiet. It appears to be based on Britain & Scotland, which is neat, they were do for a region set in their area. I wanted to get this done quick (under 2 hours) so if it doesn't look super amazing, that's why. Still, I think it came out alright...except for the Soccer ball, ugh....
The starters alright, a bit like a mix between older generations of Pokemon and Gen 4 & 5 Pokemon in my opinion. Right now I'm feeling Scorbunny, but who knows, in a bit one of the other starts might win me over. I was originally Team Litten two years ago but Popplio's dumb face eventually won me over, and that was before Primarina and Incenaroar were revealed.
