Giovanni vs Cynthia

Ever wanted to see a battle that was seemingly impossible, because of logic and timelines, and all that boring stuff?

Well that's where Dimension Battles come in. You can have OCs, Canon Trainers, and Pokemon, duke it out. Wanna see Pikachu vs Charizard? Ash vs AZ? Your OC, Jeff Jefferson vs Red? Well here you can. Go to my request thread and just request it, and I'll make it. You can find the link in my about info.
“Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to our first battle and season one of our new series, Dimension Battles! I’ll be host, and you can call me, Mic. Anyways let’s get on with the first battle, shall we. And here come the combatants!”

The two trainers, both took the arena, with their first Pokemon, ready to go, still enclosed in their Pokeballs, in their hands. The first one, a man with incredible power and skill. Not just amazing prowess in Pokemon Battling, a leader of an international crime syndicate that had so much power over a group, that commanded so much respect. Giovanni, the ex-gym leader of the Viridian Gym, and ex-leader of the once great Team Rocket.

His opponent, was a woman, who stood as the figurehead of the Sinnoh Pokemon League, not only as a powerful trainer, but the very head of it, as its champion. Her name, Cynthia, a women, who had more power than most of people, and demanded so much respect.

“Trainers take your positions! Now let’s get this battle going! Count it down with me. Three! Two! One! Battle Begin!”

“Go Spiritomb!”

“Golem!”

The two pokeballs collided and both Pokemon appeared in a flash of light. Golem gave a loud roar and flexed his muscles. Spiritomb eerily floated in the air, silently.

“Dark Pulse, my friend!” Cynthia shouted, ready to make the first move. Spiritomb opened her mouth and fired a blast, of dark energy that spiraled forward in a spinning blast.

Golem raised his arms, and crossed his forearms, covering his face. The beam hit his forearms, breaking off into multiple direction, and crashing into the ground, scorching the dirt, black.

“For a Champion, you seem to not understand the true power of Pokemon. Rock Blast!” Giovanni taunted, as he motioned for his Rock and Ground type to deliver a counter attack. Golem opened his mouth, and with a muffled roar, he fired five rocks, that barreled across the field landing a direct attack, each one slamming into Spiritomb’s Odd Keystone, causing the Ghost and Dark type to fall back and waver a bit.

“Are you okay my friend?” Cynthia asked, as Spiritomb recovered. “Use Ominous Wind!” A purple, eerie shadow wrapped around Spiritomb, before it launched a Golem, like a wave of darkness.

Like before, Golem stood his ground and tanked the attack. When the wind faded, Golem flexed his arms, ignored the obvious damage to his exterior, and gave a roar.

“Now Rock Blast again. But this time, knock it out!” Giovanni commanded angrily. Golem, again fired multiple rock from his palms at Spiritomb. However, this time, they all landed with enough force to knock him out.

“Wow folks, by using one move twice, Giovanni wiped out the Champion’s first Pokémon. How will she react? This sure is getting intense. Cynthia, you have two Pokemon left. Choose wisely.”

“Return Spiritomb, and go Milotic!” The creepy Pokémon disappeared and was immediately replaced by Milotic, who coiled around, flaunting her beauty. “Aqua Tail!” The Water Type arched her back and began to snap her tail, which was quickly surrounded by a furious torrent of water.

Like every problem this pokom faced so far in this battle, Golem raised his arms to tank the hit once more. But besides Giovanni was done with this Pokemon. Golem was sent racing back and slammed into the stadium wall, giving the field a decent rumble.

Wordlessly, Giovanni returned the fainted Golem to his pokeball, and slung out another pokeball in its place. “Go Kangaskan!” The normally maternal Pokemon, let loose a loud roar, and Giovanni gave a sickening smirk. “Sorry to burst your bubble Champion, but despite the fact I once was a Ground type gym leader, I still carry a variety of types. Like my Normal type here, for instance.”

Cynthia shook her head. “Types don't mean everything you know. As a Gym Leader you should understand that. Ice Beam!” Milotic swayed to the left, and then to the right, before opening her mouth to fire a ray of freezing cold energy at the Normal Type.

“Protect!” Giovanni commanded. By crossing her arms, a light blue energy field formed around Kangaskan. The energy refracted off the shield, and was sent skidding into the dirt, leaving patches of ice.

“Okay, when it fades away, use Aqua Tail!” Cynthia shouted seeing her chance to land another attack. Using Protect repeatedly, would cut the chance of it landing simultaneously. He either could risk it or tank the attack, which is what she expected from him. Nothing could have prepared her for his plan.

“Thunder!” Giovanni voice roared loudly over the sound of the swinging water. Kangaskan raised her arms and a yellow ball of crackling energy formed in between her palms. Then it jolted forward in a flurry, slamming into the Aqua Tail, that was around Milotic’s tail. The electricity spread around Milotic rapidly, traveling through the water effectively shocking the Water type. Milotic collapsed on the ground, too injured to continue the battle. Once again, Cynthia had been outsmarted, by this criminal mastermind.

“It seems like Giovanni is shaping the battle, to go the way he wants it to. What can Cynthia do, with her final pokemon. That's right, she only has one and he has two. But we're in for a real treat, because my gut tells me that this final one, will be the Champion’s strongest, and signature Pokemon.”

“Go my friend, Garchomp!” Cynthia shouted twisting her arm, in an arc, like a perfect baseball pitch sending out the Dragon and Ground Type.

“Gar-Chomp!” The ferocious pokemon roared stretching his arms looking dangerous and deadly, a predator ready to hunt his prey.

“Brick Break!” Cynthia shouted to her friend. Garchomp charged forward, quite well fulfilling his title as the Mach Pokemon, with his claws raised, as he delivered powerful blows that knocked back Kangaskan before she could respond, nor flinch.

Kangaskan fainted. With a loud thud, the Maternal Pokemon collapsed, too injured to continue the battle. “Return Kangaskan. Now rise my strongest Pokemon! Beedrill!”

“After a powerful knockout, we're left with each trainer’s strongest. But what is suprising everyone in the crowd, is the basic fact, that the Ex-Ground Type gym best pokemon, is a Bug and Poison type. Let's watch and see what happens.”

“Garchomp, Dragon Rush!” Bending his head forward, Garchomp charged like a jet, half running, half gliding, close to the ground at a high speed. Garchomp body was enveloped in a pale blue dragonic energy that took the slight shape of a dragon, with and empasis on the energy around Garchomp’s head and arms.

“Dodge it with Agility!” Beedrill dashed up into the air giving a slight spin, while glowing with a faint pink light. Garchomp slammed into the dirt, and the attack ended. The Dragon and Ground Type, quickly rose up and gave an angry snarl. “Swords Dance!” It seemed like Giovanni was planning to set up with Beedrill, but was this really why it was his strongest.

As the swords danced around Beedrill body, Cynthia decided it was time to wrap this battle up quick. “Garchomp, respond to my heart. When the love between trainer and Pokemon reaches it's max, a new pier is unlocked, Garchomp, Mega Evolve!” Tha Mach Pokemon gave a roar, as a stone around his neck began to glow. Cynthia raised her arm, revealing an intracitly built bracelet with a Key Stone attached to it. It began to glow and Garchomp began to reach his next level. Through the power of Mega Evolution.

When the dust cleared, Mega Garchomp gave a loud roar shaking the ground. However, unlike the ground, Giovanni wasn't as impressed.

“Well a bit hasty Champion. But now it's time to learn why Beedrill is my strongest.” Giovanni said, as Beedrill raised a stinger. Hidden under his arms, was a Mega Stone. “My turn. When powers combine, destiny can be forged. And with this power, I will make my own path with my Pokemon! MEGA EVOLVE!” The Team Rocket pin, attached to the pocket of his suit, began to glow. The pressed it lightly to reveal a Key Stone, by the tile sliding away. Both stone began to glow, and wrapped around Beedrill. Soon, Mega Beedrill revealed himself, with a loud buzz.

“Amazing folks. Two Mega Evolutions! We're in for an amazing battle!”

“Poison Jab!” Giovanni shouted. Mega Beedrill’s main stinger began to glow with a light purple light, that gave a slight ripple as it spread. Then, Beedrill chraged, aiming the stinger at Garchomp.

“Garchomp, knock him away with Fire Blast!” Cynthia commanded Garchomp. The Mega Pokemon reeled back his head and fired a blast of star shaped fire that charged towards Beedrill, where it would deliver, duper effective damage.

“Dodge, and then deliver your assualt!” Giovanni shouted, as in flash Beedrill disappeared. Apparently had moved out of the way fast enough and was now behind Garchomp. He jabbed his stinger right 8nto the Ground and Dragon Types back. Now while Garchomp resisted it, Mega Beedrill have the ability, Adaptability, which boost attacks that are the same type as the Pokemon’s own type, and he used Swords Dance earlier. So it still did a decent amount.

“Dragon Claw!” Cynthia shouted, seeing the problems that were emerging. Garchomp raised his giant bladed claw, that was surrounded in deep purple energy, and charged at the low hovering Beedrill, swinging hard and fast.

Beedrill raised his upper stingers to block the attack. The attack thudded against Beedrill’s stingers and he was pushed back.

“Let's end this quick. X-Scissor!” Giovanni voice rang out, echoing. Beedrill flexed his stingers and they began to glow, with a green light.

“Fine, we'll do the same. Dragon Rush.” Cynthia commanded, raised her voice to a borderline scream. Garchomp rushed forward.

Beedrill crossed his stingers forming an X and and the two attacks collided with a loud explosion, sending dust in every direction.

When the dust cleared, Beedrill stood there hovering above the fainted body of Garchomp. “Return Beedrill. That was too easy.” Giovanni said with a smirk, returning Beedrill to his Pokeball.

“What an amazing battle folks. And our winner is Giovanni! Well, join us next time for another Dimension Battle!”
