Gen VII Male Protagonist

Shiny Pyxis I made this... ages ago.... and completely forgot. I think at some point I tried to sprite the female protag but I just kept failing her hat and I just completely gave up. So here you go.

Update Nov 28, 2016 - Added the other skin tones+hair colors!

    @Katelyn Lackey any picture editing software of your choice (mine is Microsoft Paint), a base sprite from the main Pokemon games, a couple references for the character's appearance and/or pose, and a lotta patience as I try to get the sprite to look right.

    Not included in the above description: over 9 years of practice and looking up tutorials on shading, anatomy, color theory, etc.

    @The Very Best 2007 the colors align a little better with Gen IV HG/SS sprites, as they're more saturated compared to Gen III or D/P/Pl sprites. Gen III also used smaller sprites than Gen IV or VI did and liked to make their sprites shinier; mine is a little more matte-looking in comparison. So I guess you're not wrong? XD
