This are so cool! I like how a lot of the names are based on animal names, like what you did with volcalf and burnox. Not to mention all the designs are so creative and unique!

Absolutely love a lot of these. Seakitt and it's evolutions, as well as Wintris being particularly cool (bad ice joke woo). Seeing this sort of thing makes me want to try and piece together an interesting region of my own, as I have thought of one but have never really have done much with the idea. Anyway yeah, this dex looks quite nice so far. Looks like I'm going to be following for certain as this is, well, some rather great stuff.

@FinalPasta Thank you! I've been trying to draw one pokemon line a week for a while, but in the beginning it was more sporadic and I started in 2016. You're right!! One thing pokemon does so well is work in a lot of underappreciated animals so I'm trying to incorporate more bugs and weird stuff.

My starter would definitely be Sylpup.

But for some constructive criticism, too many of these Pokémon look too similar. Many of them are big with four legs. But other than that, this artwork is amazing!
Also my favorite is Chrystalis what nobody cares oh

@Psycho Monkey Yesssssss excellent choices. You're right, I namedropped most of the blank space pokemon during the story, and I'm trying to get them done at one evolutionary line or grouping per week or so. SOON.

@Sciencewars Heck yes, Ursabre is one of my favorites >: D Excellent balanced team! It's hard for me to choose myself, there are too many type overlaps that I want hahaha

Going through this, the Seakitt line has to be my favorite. Of course, the others are great too, but I just like water starters a bit more.

Of course, I can't just stop at one Pokemon here. Once I get my team builder gears going, I can't stop. So, if I had to make a team out of stuff here, I would go with:

1. Tybiss
See above.

2.Raigar
Cool jester cat, plus Tybiss covers the ground weakness.

3. Soiote
I just love the typing, and it covers steel.

4. Svarog
Get in the missing Grass and Fire types to complete the trilogy.

5. Reginant (evolved from Rhinant)
Bulky bug dragon? Awesome! I do love me some bugs.

6.Ursabre
LOOK AT THE FRICKING THING. WHO WOULDNT WANT IT.

All of your Starters are amazing but if I had to choose one it would be a toss up between Sylpup and Seakitt. I almost always default Water and Tibyss is so majestic. But Dragon-wolf. Come on, that is fantastic! It's a tough choice. Not saying I don't love Oxhaust, they're awesome too (especially mah boi Rufus!), but Dragon-wolf and majestic hydrophilic feline.

If I cared at all about using different types when team building, I'd have to go with Seakitt so that I could add a Dragoon to my team later. Then under the light of a full moon it shall become the mighty Oozaru! Gurren Lagann Drillgoon! I love Oberant's name purely for being a pun off of Lord Oberon the Fairy King. Gotta get me one of those just for that. XD

The only ones I don't like are the holes in your dex for no better reason then they are missing. Which I find odd since I feel like I've seen the Squarrel line and Servelos line before unless they were simply name dropped in G&D and that's why they sound so familiar. In any case I look forward to seeing the completed Dex. Whether or not I actually finish G&D before then... well I guess that depends on if I can read faster than you draw.
