They are similar in the same way Houndour and Houndoom are similar... same typing and coloring, the main difference being size and accessories.

I loove the idea behind this. I greatly appreciate the making of another fossil Pokemon. but the only problem i have is that both evolution's look very alike. I completely understand that it is hard, cause i have trouble with it too.
DID I MENTION THAT I LOVE THE FOSSIL CONCEPT??!!
