After we all ate we decided to check out the town and what was in it. Macie actually lived in Eve Town, but because she had just moved from Unova she didn't really know much about it yet. Apparently a boutique in the town sold some really cute clothes, so we decided to check that out.
The store was an interesting sight, it had mostly neutral toned stuff as well as some autumny hues, but it was all a bit too expensive for our wallets, so we didn't end up buying anything. We decided that maybe we'd just go outside and try to catch some Pokemon.
Macie had success with this immediately, easily catching a little Joltik that she had found attatching to her shoulder. The rest of us were having little to no luck until I spotted a Pichu that was a darker color than normal. I didn't really understand what it was, but I caught it anyway. I ran up to my friends, showing them the Pichu I caught.
"Lizzie you know what that is right? That's a shiny Pokemon." Daniel said, looking shocked.
"Wow, that's actually pretty cool, I've only heard of shiny Pokemon in legends, I never knew they actually existed!" I said.
"Well there's a good reason people like you aren't supposed to think they are real. Listen kid, I suggest you hand the Pokemon over to me, I'm much more experienced with this kinda stuff." Interupted a voice, I looked up to see an older boy coming near us. He had shaggy purple hair with light blue streaks in it, and wore a fairly average outfit besides a large purple gauntlet on his right hand that had a pastel blue "A" on it.
"Who are you and why are you interested in our Pokemon?" interrupted Macie, it was odd to see her be so loud.
"I'm not interested in your Pokemon, brat. I'm interested in that Pichu and the Pichu alone." he said, coldly.
"Well whoever you are, you're not getting anywhere near my Pichu!" I said, returning my Pichu to the pokeball.
"Your loss, but I may warn you that Team Aura will be back, and they will not take to your refusal lightly." he said as he walked off.
"What a creep." Daniel muttered under his breath. Oddly enough Skylar just kinda stood there, a shocked look on her face.
"Whatever guys, let's just go to the next town, I think it's time we challenge a gym." Skylar said, snapping out of her daze. We all nodded as we hopped on our bikes and headed for the city.
Kerplop. I thought to myself, what a nice name.
