Fenna Koros was a mechanic - and a damn good one, too, she would waste no time in reminding you. She didn’t take kindly to the question “how good can you really be with only one eye,” but it usually only took one or two displays of her prowess to shut that down.
Admittedly, in the case of that rat Ibri from down the way, Fenna had to follow up the display of prowess with a swift kick to the shins, but the important part was that he never asked her that again.
Fenna lived in Netronin, one of the towns that composed the country-wide assembly line that was Momotto, and she’d made a name for herself early on by being one of the only mechanics in the country who did their job without magic.
Momotto as a whole was well-known across Ennen for refusing entry to any non-Momottan travelers - the technology produced within the country’s borders was too valuable to fall in the hands of outsiders, so claimed the king.
Thus, it came as a surprise to Fenna when a group of three foreigners barreled into her workshop looking for a place to hide.
If you caught up with Fenna later and asked her what possessed her to let the outsiders hide from the city guard in her shop, she wouldn’t have been able to tell you anything more specific than “I got a good feeling from them.”
