History: Born and raised in Hearthome in the Sinnoh region, Maddy has always had a close connection to ghost type pokemon. Her parents were friends with Fantina, and she dreamed of becoming a ghost type trainer when she was older. Soon enough, she became an Elite Four member of her favorite type.
Because of her kindness and hospitality, many wild ghost type pokemon visit her and follow her around. Maddy feeds them and cares for them, but they aren’t parts of her team. These wild pokemon annoy one of Maddy’s fellow Elite Four members, Jon, as they always end up in his room and scare him. Because she enjoys annoying Jon mercilessly, she often sends her Gengar, Nightmare, to scare Jon as well.

Abaddon [means “destruction; ruination”] / Spiritomb / Lvl. 56 / Male
Personality: Abaddon was Maddy’s first pokemon, and although he is often cold and negative towards her - as well as the rest of her team - deep down, he loves her as much as the rest of her team does, but he rarely shows it. He rarely listens to Maddy and believes that the other members of her team are absolute idiots. Because of this, Abaddon and Nightmare often get into fights.

Nightmare / Gengar / Lvl. 55 / Male
Personality: Nightmare is the “ultimate badass”, as he puts it. Maddy caught him as a Ghastly, and he was always a bit of a cocky jerk. When he found a leather jacket and aviators shortly after he evolved into a Gengar, he stole them from their rightful owner and used them to add to his image. He often flirts and hits on girls, and to them, he is suave and charming.

Eric [means “Alone”] / Mimikyu / Lvl. 54 / Male
Personality: Eric is very attached to Maddy, and she is likewise attached to him. She is always carrying him around and is very protective of him. He is very sensitive, and it doesn't take much to make him cry or go over the deep end with rage. On the opposite spectrum, however, he is easily pacified and is often smiling and sweet. He is surprised easily, and Jon constantly brings this up, as “he’s a ghost type, but he’s spooked easily. It’s funny because it’s ironic!”

Eidolon [ahy-doh-luh n; means “an idealized person or thing; a specter or phantom”] / Chandelure / Lvl. 54 / Female
Personality: Eidolon likes to be treated as a proper lady, and is labeled by the others in Maddy’s team as being a major snob. She enjoys higher-quality food and the like, and won’t settle for anything less. Maddy finds Eidolon to be hilarious sometimes because of this, but to everyone else, Eidolon is just plain annoying.

Ignis Fatuus [ig-nis fach-oo-uh s; means “a will-o’-the-wisp. Something deceptive or deluding”] - “Iggy” / Jellicent / Lvl. 53 / Female
Personality: Iggy is the happy-go-lucky, optimistic member of Maddy’s team. She always cheers her fellow teammates on, and often helps cheer up Eric when he’s down, or breaks up fights between Nightmare and Abaddon. Nightmare thinks she and Abaddon are an item because she often is a bit “too nice” to him, but the two always dismiss this as Nightmare being salty that Iggy sides with Abaddon most of the time when she breaks up their fights.

Personality: Perry is a bit more mischievous than the other ghost types that Maddy has encountered. She often tries to find ways to make Nightmare and Abaddon fight for no reason because it amuses her. She has a crush on Nightmare, but it isn't mutual as far as everyone else on Maddy’s team knows…at least, not yet, anyways…!~
