Lost History: Dubble Battle

by Lost Souls

Lost Souls Alice knows exactly what a double battle means. Bianca and Cherin against her, that's how things work. But what she isn't expecting is Cilan to join in.
I sighed lightly as I headed into the field. It was quite late but I was not going to pass up a chance to train Watson and Feyu.
"Hey, since its so late I was wondering if you wanted me to give you a hand?" Cilan asked, walking up with a small smile on his face. I suppose catching the poacher was a good thing as the trio had calmed down a lot around me.
"I suppose that would be fun. I mean tag battling with a leader." I responded with a small shrug. "I really am sorry about our battle."
"It's alright, just don't do it again. I highly doubt that any of the others will be as forgiving as we have." He responded, gently placing a hand on my shoulder. Nodding I followed Cilan onto the field.
'Hey! Are you joining us?' Cherin asked, smiling brightly.
"If you will allow it." He responded.
"Alright, you and Alice against me and Cherin," Bianca said, calling out her Pignite.
Smiling here sent out Panpour.
"Alright, Watson," I called as Cilan sent out his Pansage.
'"We kneed to work as a team Alice if we want to win this." Cilan called and I nodded closing my eyes to connect. I was going to kneed everything I had, and my ability kneaded to be strengthened with Watson.
"Howl!" I called, with a snap. I had achieved the glow but wordless was not happening.
"Bullet Seed!"
As the seeds shot forward Pignite shot a stream of fire. With the action starred, Panpour lunged forward and ran his tongue up Watson's cheek. This was not a good idea, as he snarled sending a hard spark of electricity at the monkey. As it hit Panpour yelped, sparks running up and down its spine. Turning it lunged, slashing towards his side.
"Oh, they are not going to get along after this," I muttered watching as the two started snarling.
"Well, it's not likely but it's alright," Cilan said with a nod. "You don't befriend the enemy during battle."
"Fair. Watson, too toying with him and use Spark!" I called smirking as the small monkey fainted.
The victory was short lived as Cherin sent out Survine.
"How many each?" I asked recalling Watson and switching to Feyu.
Feyu was clearly still a bit timid about battling shining towards her 'brother.' Pansage chuckled lightly and pet her leaf.
"Alright Feyu, show Pansage how we handle difficult foes. Use vine whip on the ground!" I called blinking what remained of my exhaust out of my eyes.
Feyu nodded to Pansage and dashed left, Palisade needed back heading right. Once they had flanked Survine and Pignite the started whipping up a storm.
"Quick, Pignite Flame charge!" Bianca called clearly catching the two off guard. The large pig was fast, catching both monkeys in its dash.
'I don't believe that we are in a situation that you can win.' The voice called and I shook my head. No one had specified how many we could use. No one answered me.
"Feyu return, Rider bite!" I called as Feyu fainted. Cilan seemed somewhat surprised as Rider shot forward and chomped hard on Pignite's arm.
"Pansage you did well. Lillipup you're next. Use tackle!" He called watching as Survine slapped Rider away. As Lillipup made contact with Pignite it collapsed, fainting.
"Pignite return, Patrat use leer!" Bianca called and I chuckled. My heart was racing and I could feel my lips peeling back to a toothy grin. This was a true battle, a battle of glory and sheer competitive nature.
"Rider! Take care of the Rat, Cilan I suggest going for the Survine!" I called turning to the slightly shaken leader. Our pokemon were not holding back, and there was a small amount of blood dotted across the field.
'He is used to Show battles, Lillipup is calm pokemon and the Monkey Trio were likely gifts.' The Voice explained as I scoffed. He really was a timid battler.
"Cilen get in the game. The world is not a show, it's not going to go easy on you."
"Right, I thought you were friends! This is beyond a friendly battle!"
"Latter Mr. Leader!" Bianca shouted back glaring at the field. "Hypnosis!"
"Lillipup, sand attack!" It was clear that Cilan was regretting joining our battle, but at the same time was curious.
"Bite again Rider!" I called watching as Rider went to roll, only to be caught in the attack.
Glancing over I watched as Lillipup was slammed into a nearby tree with a well-timed vine. It jumped back snarling and glowing, as it landed on Services tail I let out a woot. It had evolved.
"Herdier, keep it up!"
'Rider, get up. Don't let that rat win.' I pleaded, watching as Patrat bit his shoulder hard. They were only on their second pokemon and it was clear they had four each. We were in trouble if this was how the battle was going. Cilan and I were down to our last usable pokemon. I was not ready to lose.
Silently I watched as Herdier managed to knock Survine out, clearly quite low on health himself.
"Cilan I really hope you have another Pokemon, at bare minimum potion darts." I hissed groaning lightly when he shook his head, watching Cherin send out his own Herdier.
"What about your last pokemon?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"Like you said this is far enough, I don't want to severely injure them," I responded silently recalling Rider in defeat.
"That was fun!" Bianca called returning Patrat as Cilan's Herdier fainted. "Alice?"
The exhaust had definitely caught up as the world spun, blurring out of view.
"Hey, Alice. Sit down, you overdid it. Just sit down." Cilans voice sounded distant, but the grip on my shoulders told me he was close. "Don't black out, please don't black out."
That was the last thing I heard before I did just that, I blacked out.
