AHAH, IT'S A PUN! GET IT? NUTS AND BOLTS!!!
Anyways, for those of you who don't know yet, this little fella, nicknamed Dittonut, is a mystery "Pokemon" that's been showing up in Pokemon GO the past two days. It was first leaked a few days before that, but most people at the time thought it was just a place holder model for something, even I thought so. But then, at 5-ish when I came home from a renaissance fair with a friend, I decided to check PoGO to see if I missed the Chickorita event ( I did), but found these guys everywhere!
I was confused at first, but also excited! A Gen 8 Pokemon, the first Gen 8 Pokemon, leaked into Pokemon GO? Talk about a sneak peak! Unfortunately they all turn into Ditto's when caught, which bummed my out (I went out and caught a few to see if one wouldn't transform) but hey, that just leaves us the question; what exactly was Ditto copying? Personally. I think the thing looks cute, though I'm a bit conflicted about its design, as I feel just slapping a nut with an eye in it on top of a silver ditto with a ribbon tail seem a bit lazy, even if the design works in a really odd way. Either way, world first possibly revealed Gen 8 Pokemon, I had to draw it!
I sketched this out at work last night and decided to color it real quick today, tried a few new things shading wise, and though I'm not sure if it looks better, I don't think it looks bad. There is a problem or two I have with the drawing that I noticed after the fact, but for a quickly colored doodle/ experiment mix, I think it still looks cute.

Pokemon belongs to the Nintendo, The Pokemon Company, and Game Freak...so, whose excited for the inevitable red Sudowoodo with balloons on its hands instead of those green ball things?
