D&D thing: DIRE OWL BEAR!

Curtkid Welp, another year has come and gone, and I needed something to post here, if only for an update to show everyone I'm not dead, even if it isn't Pokemon related. Soooo, for anyone here who played Dungeons and Dragons, here's a little something you might like, even if you don't you might enjoy it!

So, in the campaign I was DMing, the party came upon a cave full of Owl Bears (or "Hoot-hoot Growl-growls as our partys Firbolg calls them). I originally planned for the boss of the cave to be a Dire Owl Bear, but apparently their isn't an official "Dire Owl Bear" for 5e or in any D&D book. SO I DECIDED TO HOMEBREW ONE!

The group was actually fairly surprised when they ran into it, sadly the cave they were fighting it in was too cramped for it to use it wings to fly around (it got those 'cause it's dire), but they enjoyed the fight all the same! I was kinda proud of its design so I decided to post it here, sort of as a "last picture of the year" kinda thing. I'll post the stats for it later, juuust in case someone else wants to use it.

As always thanks to everyone who views, comments, and likes!

D&D and (I think) Owlbears belong to Wizards of The Coast, who give one the basic tools to make fantastical table-top worlds.
Aura and Ariados twice like this.
