From the Ashes: Chapter 5

Stella boarded a train to Vanville Town to start her journey off. "Last stop: Vanville Town!" The notification rang through the train. Stella hopped off the train and let Starshine out of her pokéball. She appeared to be holding something "ampharos ros" she said as she handed it to her. "For me?" Stella asked. Starshine nodded her head. Stella took it from her Pokémon and examined the object. It was a small orb, similar to a cat's eye marble with its streaks of red and yellow in the center of its clear build. As Stella was examining the orb, Starshine handed her a bracelet. Stella thanked Starshine and took the bracelet. She noticed its very fine craftsmanship, delicate strands of gold woven together meeting at a circle in the center. Just as Stella was trying to calculate its cost, Starshine turned to her and called to get her attention. "Yeah?" She asked her Pokémon. Starshine pointed at the orb, then the bracelet, then put her hands together. Stella merely looked at her quizzically. Starshine just face palmed and took the items from Stella. She put the orb in the open circle within the bracelet, and the whole this began to glow! "Starshine! Starshine, what did you do!? Starshine!" Stella was terrified, for she had no idea what was going to happen. The light grew so utterly blinding that Stella couldn't see her hands in front of her. When the light subsided, Starshine looked.... different. Starshine cheered in triumph. "Starshine, is that you?" Stella asked, very much confused. Starshine nodded her head. "But you- you're different now.... I just don't understand." A person that happened to be walking by said, "it's mega evolution, dude." "Mega evolution.... I don't know what that is, but it sounds Neko-tastic!" Stella cheered. Starshine, new form and all, cheered out with her. They both didn't know what what mega evolution was, but they were willing to go through it together!
