As the 5 of them traveled towards Jirachi, Ash said to Mega Ray, “My longtime friend Max is best friends with Jirachi, even though they’ve only been together for 3 days.” “How so?” asked Mega Ray. “Well, Jirachi personally spoke to him through a psychic link, then an Absol tried to take Jirachi home, but an evil magician promptly locked Absol up. We helped it escape, and now Jirachi is home. Oh, and we’re here.”
In front of Mega Ray and the rest of them was undoubtedly a beautiful land with many rock columns. “This is Jirachi’s home.” said Ash, but Mega Pikachu, Mega Ray, and Mega Mewtwo X were speechless. By this time, it was precisely sunset, which naturally made the enchanted land all the more beautiful.
Ash tugged gently at Mega Ray’s gilded horns and said, “Lower yourself to the ground and place me down on the grass, so I can show you where Jirachi is.” Mega Ray instantly followed his specific instructions, and the four Pokemon turned back into their original forms.
Ash led them to a trailer with leading light coming from it. “This is my established camp for the 7 days of the Millennium comet.” Ash said.
When Ash gently opened the door, May, Max, Brock, and Jirachi turned to look at him and Ash’s Pikachu, Pikachu, Mewtwo and Ray outside. “Oh my gosh!” said Max. “Two more Legendary Pokemon!” “Hello, my name is Mewtwo.” said Mewtwo, floating gracefully over to Max. “My name is May. I’m Max’s older sister.” replied May, shaking hands with Mewtwo. He shook hands with Max, too.
“This is Ray, the moral guardian of the atmosphere.” said Ash, intentionally introducing him. “Good to meet you, Ray.” said Max, stooping his head. “It is excellent to meet you too, Max.” replied Ray, bowing back. May bowed to him, and he bowed back, just as he did with Max. Brock excitedly ran up to them and yelled, “I recognize you guys from the time when-” Ash promptly cut him off.
Then Jirachi came up to meet them. Pikachu could scarcely contain his eager excitement, so he did not say a word. “Is it true that you can grant wishes?” asked Ray. “Affirmative.” answered Jirachi. “Can I wish for something?” questioned Mewtwo. Jirachi thought for a considerable while, carefully weighing his key decisions. At long last, he replied, “Yes, you can.” Pikachu started jumping up and down. “I wish for the power to fly without Mega Evolving!” said Pikachu. Max, Brock and May typically gave him a baffled look.
“This Pikachu can Mega Evolve?” asked Max. “You better believe it.” replied Ash. “Wish granted.” said Jirachi. Soon, Pikachu was typically flying in the air. “This is so cool!” he said. “I wish I can take the form of anything, so I would be a shapeshifter.” said Ray. “Wish granted.” said Jirachi.
The next thing Ray knows, he is a Pikachu. “What the heck?” he says. “You need to learn to handle your powers, Ray.” said Pikachu, hovering over Ray and giggling. “And I will wish for the ability to travel time, assisting anyone I appoint with me.” said Mewtwo. “Wish granted.” replied Jirachi. Instantaneously, Mewtwo disappeared in a ball of darkness.
“Where is Mewtwo?” asked Pikachu, floating around in the air and looking. “He time traveled.” replied Ash. “To another dimension?!” yelled Pikachu. “I don’t know, I can’t control his mind. How am I supposed to know at all?” shrugged Ash.
Just as soon as he left, Mewtwo came back from the beginning of time. “I found so many new Pokemon that are extinct now, like this one!” A bird-like Pokemon flew out from behind Mewtwo, and groomed its feathers. “It is called an Archeops. I named it myself.” said Mewtwo proudly. Since Archeops was unneeded at the time, Mewtwo summoned a vortex that looked like a black hole.
Archeops gave a cry and dove into the vortex and disappeared. Mewtwo sealed the vortex. “Archeops went back to his time.” he explained. Ray nodded in approval, then shifted back into Rayquaza.
Before long, night fell. While Mewtwo and Pikachu were sleeping, Ray looked up at the night sky. “The seventh day will be here faster than I thought,” he said to himself. He floated up in the air and whispered, “Mega Evolve.” Luckily, the Mega Evolution made no noise, because only Ray was Mega Evolving.
Ray flew up past the stratosphere and mesosphere, and stopped in the exosphere. Ho-oh was there, hovering calmly. “How many more days do you have to guard the Earth?” Ray asked Ho-oh. “You have about 2 days left,” she replied.
“Whoa,” said Ray. “The comet looks so much more beautiful from up here.” They stared at the comet for some time, appraising its beauty. The sun started rising, and Ray said to Ho-oh, “I better get going. I will be back in a few days!” yelled Ray, streaming down through the troposphere, the mesosphere, and the stratosphere until he reached the exosphere.
Fortunately for Ray, Mewtwo and Pikachu just woke up and were coming out of the trailer. “Where were you?” asked Mewtwo. “I didn’t see you all night.” “I was checking on Ho-oh.” replied Ray, pointing up into the sky.
The trio ate some Pokepuffs and were about to say goodbye to Ash, Max, Brock and May when a squeal of brakes and some footsteps happened a mile away. The Pokemon froze. “So this is where Jirachi is, eh?” a masculine voice said, mostly to himself. “I will show Team Magma that I can create a new Groudon from this Pokemon!” he shouted, so loudly that both Pikachus covered their ears.
Ash, who did not have as good of hearing, did not notice until Ray informed him, “A man is here and is looking for Jirachi.” “That must be the magician!” said Ash. “Apparently, he worked as a scientist for Team Magma.” added Ray. Ash kicked at a pebble. “We need to protect Jirachi!” said Pikachu. “Going somewhere?” inquired a voice behind Ash.
