As Riku, Lucario and the Professor headed down the long elevator towards the bottom of the lab. "What you are about to see is not to be shared understood?" Professsor Tokodashi seemed serious, an unusual emotion for the Professor. Once the elevator stopped, The Professor had to do a hand scan a facial scan and a spit scan, this elaborate process was probably required so no information was stolen from this apparently top secret lab.
Then the doors opened. A smattering of computers, old test tubes that possibly once held life size specimens and a container that was partially covered by a thick cloud of fog. Suddenly a girl armed with a shotgun and a Toxicroak appeared for one of the computer servers! "Professor, if that is you, why did you bring a foreigner here" she demanded with a look of sheer panic in her eyes. "Put these in your ears" the Professor demanded "you too Lucario". Lucario took, what looked like earplugs, and looked highly inquisitive. He used his aura capabilities to put them in his ear telekineticlly. Riku did the same. They both heard a high pitch whine that caused them to wince as the Professor recited the code "RBGY GSC RSE DPPL BWB2W2 XY SM USUM". Riku and Lucario felt two furry paws remove the devices and looked down to see a Watchog staring them both down menacingly. "I'm sorry boys" Professor Tokodshi explained all of why he had not allowed them to hear the pass-code. "And this is my great-niece" he pointed at the girl "Her name is Chiri Izumi" she seemed to look highly distraught. "Grampa!" she exclaimed "your going to give me away!"
"Chiri, I doubt he works for them"
"You mean Team Fusion? I'm sure he does"

"And that is why Chiri seems so hostile" Tokodashi explained "it is her mission to ensure my safety and protection". She nodded smugly. " But I brought you down here for something more important" the Professor stated. "This," he said reaching into his pocket is Lucarionite Ultra!" A sparkling stone was held in the Professor's hand. "Wow" Riku marveled as he slowly pulled out his Mega bracelet. "Can we test it out?" he asked "Sure" The Professor stated "i'll just give this to Lucario". The Professor attached a ring including the Ultra Mega Stone to Lucario's Arm. "Whoa," Riku stated "I can hardly see it", Chiri smiled, "that's because the bracelet is made of a special material that conforms to the beholders color or skin tone".
"WHEN THE LIGHT FROM THE MEGA STONE WILL SHINE, A POKEMON AND THEIR TRAINER'S HEART COMBINE!!" Riku shouted "LUCARIO! MEGA EVOLVE!"
The light from the mega evolution energy shell turned silver than a navy blue. Then it shattered open! There stood Lucario in his mega evolved state but instead of his normal color he was in his shiny color! "Tokodashi! Chiri!" Riku was panicked and so was Lucario. Professor Tokodashi smiled, "This" he began "is Ultra Mega Evolution, It takes a Pokemon's normal mega evolved state and gives them a massive power boost the extra energy gives the Pokemon the color scheme they would take on in their normal shiny state, and yet they aren't shiny in their regular form, impressive right?!

"Well I'm glad you like it" Professor Tokodashi stated, "Because the mission I want you to complete will revolve around you using this new artifact, Oh and Chiri, you will accompany him."
