The Story that Truly Happened: Chapter 4: Getting In

by Imperfect World

Imperfect World After being Framed, Talli goes home, expecting the worst. But the worst soon turns to the best, as Talli's life begins to flip around.
Talli mumbled nonsense, and cursing under her breath the whole way back, being so mad as to no one believing her. Once the flying bison landed, Talli hopped off with Tenzin, being met with an angry mother and father.

"Explain this!" she said, holding up a newspaper.

Talli sighed, and looked like she was calm, but blew up, as she shouted, "I was framed by a stupid brunette!"

"I don't believe it." her mother said.

"Tell me then, who actually did it?" her father said, stepping in.

Talli immediately threw out all her feelings, telling the whole story as to how it happened. Then her parents nodded, in understanding.

"I'm sorry, honey." her mother said, with a rub on the back.

"To make up for it, why don't you have this." Talli's father said, handing her fifty yuans.

"FIFTY YUANS?! Do you know how much that is in our savings?!" her mother shouted, as her dad winked at Talli, and motioned for her to go.

Talli quickly left the house, hearing countless screams, and shouts. As Talli looked at Republic City from afar. She saw the large dome lit up. A game. That was what came to Talli's mind, as she remembered, Fifty Yuan's! Talli quickly rushed to the edge of the island, and she put a foot into the water. Then she water bended the water around her feet, and she sprinted across the water. Then she stopped, realizing she was bending water, unlike air. Then she lifted her self above the water, and flew to Republic City.

Now, I never explained what Talli looked like. Talli was wearing a blue sleeveless sweatshirt, and tan, baggy pants, that were rolled up. She usually walked in her bare feet for fun, but when she needed to, she would slip on black high top converse's. She has light brown eyes, and really thick blond hair, that she kept in a high ponytail. Her hair went to about the top of her spine in a ponytail, and to the bottom when it was out of one. Now back to your scheduled story.

Talli dropped from the air to the ground of Republic City's shores, and as she felt the sand hit her feet, she dashed to the large lit up dome. When she had got there, she quickly handed the buff man the yuans without conversation.

Then he said, "Hey, you're that girl! Get back here!" but before he could say more, Talli was already in the building.

Then she raced through the dome, struggling to find where she was supposed to go. When she was walking around she stumbled into a sort of gym, where there was lots of bending equipment.

"Get out of here!" came a voice, that showed to be an old, fat man. "This is my gym!"

Before Talli could come up with a good excuse, she heard another voice.

"She's with me. I invited her."

Talli turned to see a very strong looking teenager, who had his hair combed up in the back. His eye brows were bushy, and his outfit was a green bending uniform. Talli tried not to make her blush visible. This guy was cute.

"Bolin, you said the same thing about the other girl!" the old guy said.

"I invited two!" the boy, apparently Bolin, had said, defensively.

"Well, get her out of here." the fat man said, as Bolin motioned for Talli to follow.

"Thanks." Talli said, as she gave Bolin a smile.

"Don't mention it. I would've done that for anyone. Name's Bolin by the way." he said, as he walked next to Talli.

"I'm Talli. And where are the seats?" Talli said, as she continued to look down the halls.

"I feel like I know you from somewhere. And I'll show you." Bolin said, walking down the halls, as Talli followed.

"Here we are! Best seats in the house." he said, as they walked out, facing the arena straight forward.

"Hang on, you're the girl who tore down Republic City!" an older boy had said, holding up a newspaper. His hair was spiky up in the front, and it seemed as if it wasn't combed.

Talli growled, and then she saw an even worse sight. The brunette, who'd framed her.
