Pika woke up slowly. "I feel like I just slept for weeks." he said. "I feel the same." Vee responded. "All the same, we've got roll call."
"Roll call!" Chatot said. "TREEKO!" "DRILBUR!" "Whismur!" "GOLETT!" "CRANIDOS!" "KADABRA!" "MEOWTH!" "EMOLGA!" "PIDGEY!" "PIKA!" "VEE!" "Alright, everyone's here." Chatot said. "Back to your jobs, everyone!" Expecting it by now, the duo weren't surprised to see Chatot come to them. "Guildmaster Zapdos has a mission for you." he said. Nodding, Pika and Vee headed into the chamber.
"We've been contacted by someone who claims to be able to see the future." Zapdos said. "A Pokemon named Medicham. Apparently, she can help us track down Lombre. I want you two to confirm this report and, if she's not making up conjecture, chase down Lombre." "Yes, sir!" the two said, running off to grab their gear.
Heading down to the work district, they saw a five-floor tower. "People say Medicham's tower is a Poke-made Mystery Dungeon." Vee said. "Gotta be careful." The two opened the doors and entered the tower, unafraid.
Entering the tower, they saw six Meditite training. One came over to them. "You have come for training?" he asked. "I'm afraid not." Vee replied. "We need to see Medicham." "If that is the case, you will find her on the top floor." the Meditite said. "But first you must conquer the three-floor trials." "We do this sort of stuff everyday." Pika responded, cockily. "We can handle it." "Overconfidence only gets you so far." the Meditite said. "Now, travel to the trials!" Pika and Vee, nodding, ran up the stairs.
[MYSTERY DUNGEON]
Arriving at the top floor, Pika and Vee saw the Pokemon sitting in her chair. "Greetings. I am Medicham." she said. "You are Pika and Vee, I assume. I foresaw you coming here." "Then you know what we have come to know." Vee said. "Yes." Medicham responded. "But I am sorry to say that I cannot gain a clear picture of Lombre. There is some psychic force greater than my own clouding my foresight. Obviously, it does not want me to give you aid. I am sorry." "That's okay." Pika said. "We'll find that theif some other way. He can't stay hidden forever." "Indeed." Medicham said. "Now then, my disciples will escort you out of the tower." Pika and Vee nodded, allowing the Meditite to lead them back down out of the tower.
When the duo returned, they delivered the unfortunate news to Chatot and Zapdos. Once they were done, Treeko and pidgey ushered them to the dining hall.
"Now, everyone, DIG IN!"
"Crunch-munch! Chew-chew! Sniffle-slurp! Crunch-munch! Chew-chew! Sniffle-slurp! Crunch-munch! Chew-chew! Sniffle-slurp! Crunch-munch! Chew-chew! Sniffle-slurp!"
After supper, Pika and Vee were talking. "So Lombre has a partner." Pika said. "And one with powerful psychic energy." "This is troublesome." Vee said. "But a mystery for tomorrow. Let's hit the hay."

"Remember yesterday?"
"What about yesterday?"
"Moltres said that Lombre had stolen something that he and Zapdos had shared for a very long time. What could he have meant by that?"
"Well, he stole something from our guild and something from Moltres' guild. Think there's a pattern?
"Could be. Good night, Pika."
