Meanwhile, Mega Ray, Mega Mewtwo X, and Mega Pikachu kept following the trail. Before long, they came across a forest. “Easy,” said Mega Ray, and started to fly over it, but Mewtwo ceased him. “Humans could detect us and try to battle or capture us in their so-called ‘Pokeballs’.” warned Mega Mewtwo X.
“Invisibility!” said Mega Ray, and Mega Mewtwo X and Mega Pikachu exchanged glances, then gave him a bewildered look. “It’s an attack that Deoxys taught me when I visited him.” shrugged Mega Ray.
“Let me guess,” said Mega Pikachu, “this attack makes us invisible to others, but not to each other.” “Exactly! Very good.” replied Mega Ray, nodding vigorously.
So Mega Pikachu and Mega Mewtwo X used the attack. As they flew over the forest, they saw two humans and a Meowth, stumbling around and looking dazed. “That must be Team Rocket!” said Pikachu. “My cousin, who is with a human named Ash Ketchum, got captured by them many times! But in the end, Ash kept safeguarding him.”Mega Pikachu sighed.“I would immensely like to meet this Ash.”
“I met him a few weeks after I was created by those human scientists that said I was ‘a failed experiment.’”Mega Mewtwo X added.“I have heard of him from Deoxys. He said he saw Ash when we were seeking him a year ago.” shrugged Ray.
Meanwhile, in the forest, Team Rocket is lost. “I knew this was a terrible idea!” yelled Jessie. “I’m sorry, but I absolutely need to achieve the way to Jirachi!” replied James. “Yeah! In that case, I can wish to be a super-sized, invincible Meowth!”cried Meowth, jumping around.
“Shhh! I hear Pokemon voices!” barked Jessie.“Meowth, what are they saying?” whispered James.
“I think they’re declaring something about a stardust trail that leads to Jirachi!” Meowth whispered back. Jessie raised one eyebrow. “Are you sure?” she asked. “I’m certain!” said Meowth, raising his paws in the air.
“Meowth is right!” shouted James from a distance. Jessie and Meowth ran over to inspect. For certain, there was a glowing trail of golden glittery dust floating in the air just above Meowth’s waist.
“Yes! We found the direct trail to Jirachi!” said James, pumping his gloved fist in the fragrant air. Meowth and Jessie started eagerly dancing around. “No time to celebrate!” suddenly butted in James. “We need to find Jirachi! After all, we only have 6 days left!” His face fell hopelessly.
“What is it, James?” demanded Jessie. James pointed up. Meowth and Jessie looked up, and the three of them got blasted in the face with a Dragon Ball. “We’re blasting off againnnnnnnnnn!!!” they yelled as they rocketed up into the unclouded sky once again.
