Drake Rode his bike down the path, looking around. "We said we would meet here..." Drake said to himself. He stopped in front of a cafe. "Might as well get some pastries." e said, dismounting the bike and entering the cafe. "A Magma cookie, some pokepuffs, and...I guess another magma cookie!" he said. "11.20" the cashier said. Drake handed a twenty, and the cashier gave him change. "Thank you!" he said, grabbing a bag off the counter. "Have a nice day." the cashier said. "Next!" the cashier called. He exited the cafe, sitting on a bench. He took a bite of Magma Cookie. "Ouch! Hot..." he yelled, shaking his hand rapidly. "I gotta order a cooler Magma Cookie next time." he said. He sent out his two Pokemon. "Neighhhh!" the Rapidash called out. The Gabite sat there speechless, sniffing the air. When Drake took out the pokepuffs, it went ballistic. It snatched one from his hands, then starting nibbling on it. "Wha-" he said. A smile slowly appeared on his face. "Tantrum..!" he said. The Gabite looked like it had no regrets. Drake placed the other pokepuff in front of the Rapidash. It took a bite out of it. "Raa!" it whinnied happily.
Meanwhile,
Brodie arrived to the town. "If I were a Drake where would I be?" she asked herself, looking around. "The cafe." she responded to her own question. She walked toward the cafe, sitting down next to Drake. "Hello..." she said, smiling a little bit. "Hello, Brodie! Long time, no see." Drake responded, with a wide smile. This had caused Brodie to smile a bit. "This is Dunsparce. My partner!" they said, holding up the little Pokemon like it was Simba. "What did you call it? Simba?" he asked. Brodie had no response. They had a simple blank face. "I call her Dunsparce." she responded after a while of silence. "Er....Very creative!" Drake said. Brodie stared blankly at Drake. "Anyway, you think were going to have even MORE Pokemon by the time we finish the Pokemon League?" Drake asked. Brodie thought for a moment, before shrugging. "I don't really know..." she said. The Dunsparce wiggled a bit in her arms. "Well, either way, it's going to be a ADVENTURE! Maybe we'll meet new friends, or something." Drake said, standing up. He reached into the bag he had, and pulled out a Magma Cookie. "Here!" He said, holding it out. "Thanks..." she said, taking it. "I'm gonna save it for later." she said, putting it in a case. "Well, should we head for the next town?" Drake asked. Brodie shrugged again, getting up. The Pokemon had finished eating, and got up. "Well, I guess we should go, then!" Drake responded, running. "Wait up!" Brodie called out, running after him. The Rapidash and Gabite looked at each other, and shrugged. They then ran after the two trainers.
