Shrirciokide Legend: Chapter 1: The Princess' Title

by ~Rinko~

~Rinko~ A little under a hundred years after Ai seemingly disappeared from the Rainahimdreamold Magic School, two students at the school also are aware of what Ai had learnt. An almost 16 year-old human and a 15 year-old quarter-fairy half-Tsunobue princess.
“Alas, I had started to practice some magic types shortly after alongside setting up the ‘Mystical Saviours’ in three groups called the Shrirciokides, Jokihalifite-rs and the Aodiamonds but they disappeared twice. Besides, almost a hundred years later, I had the Shrirciokides back once more, Remi Iijima and Mitsuko Ashikaga, and this is where I resume this story.”

A short, pale-skinned, silver-haired fifteen year-old girl was asleep in her dormitory when someone yelled out outside of her door.

“Mitsuko! You’ve got-to wake up already! Lessons are about to start” the voice called out, it was Remi Iijima, an almost sixteen year-old red-haired girl with large purple eyes and fair skin, “You listening?”

Mitsuko Ashikaga groaned, “Okay, one moment,” she hurriedly got up and dressed, before she had opened the door. “Thank you, Remi,” she bowed her head slightly, her oversized cloche hat fell off, “Woah, sorry, sorry,” she apologized as picked the zebra stripe print hat up, dusted it and had placed it back on her head.

“Thanks?” Remi blushed slightly as she spoke, “Oh, um, no need to say sorry, that hat of yours is a tad too big though, so why do you still wear it?” she continued to talk.

“Well, it’s a little bit of a long story...” Mitsuko sighed, the cloche she wore slipped down a little and Mitsuko pushed it back up.

The two girls ran out of the tower of which the high-school aged students stayed for the duration of their time at the school. They dashed across a small part of the snow filled courtyard, towards the large, rainbow stained wooden doors that lead into the school itself; where a rather short boy with lightly tanned skin, light blue eyes, messy blue-ish purple hair and large, transparent mostly blue bat-like wings with purple-ish veins had stood.

“Princess, good to see that you’re awake,” the boy said as the girls walked up towards him, “And thank you Remi for waking her up.”

“Kiminobu Oichi, could you please stop calling me ‘princess’?” Mitsuko said as she walked past.

“Oh, yeah, you’ve told me before, but I guess old habits are hard to break, after all,” Kiminobu chuckled, “At least you don’t mind Remi, do you?”

“I dunn- don’t know.” Remi replied, “Does it really matter, I wouldn- not say so.” she continued, seemingly struggling with keeping contractions out of her speech.

“Oh, okay, I guess you’re kind of like that. Don’t you think Mitsuko is special in someway? I kind of do, don’t know why though...” Kiminobu trailed off with the second and third sentences he spoke, so much so that Remi hadn’t heard what was mumbled.

Kiminobu and Remi entered into the school itself and ran to catch up with Mitsuko, shortly after; the three entered into the classroom, “Ah, now that you are now here Princess Mitsuko, we may begin the day’s lessons.” the teacher spoke calmly.

“I wish people would stop calling me ‘princess’...” Mitsuko mumbled before sighing.

“Today’s first lesson shall be how to do the Purification, or ‘Great Goddess’ spell, so if you will all take you magical weapons and instruments, we’ll head over to the magic practice room.” the teacher, Manami Toyotomi, continued, unnoticing of Mitsuko’s quiet complaint.

“Ah, Mrs. Manamimi, I’ve lost my sceptre,” Kiminobu said as he raised his hand slightly.

“Oh, yours is the blue wooden one with the ornate cat designed head, isn’t it?” Manami asked in response, “Oh well, nevermind, you can still learn without it.”

“But- Ah, I guess you’re right...” Kiminobu sighed as the teacher left the classroom, motioning for the students to follow, like they did; Mitsuko, Remi and Kiminobu were at the back. “You think they’ll cancel lessons for once for the stardust festival tomorrow Mitsuko, Remi?” Kiminobu quietly spoke to the other two.

“No, even though it’- is also my birthday too this year...” Remi sighed, brushing her hair over her right shoulder as it had been blown back slightly from her running through the courtyard.
