Just then, they all said bye to Sawada, then Sawada left his house. When he was walking to the Pokémon Center, which was 2km away, he heard someone pass by. His eyes looked like he was a loner, he had a school bag, a school uniform, green/blue hair of somesort, and he was holding onto a poké ball.
"What was that?" Sawada asked himself "Nevermind, I'll keep going.". Sawada kept walking, until he reached the Center. He decided to take a rest, and sleep for a bit. A few hours later, he went out of the Center, and he saw the professor being beat up. "Give us everything you have, and we won't hurt you OR your family!" said a punk.
The gang kept beating the professor up, and Sawada was sort of scared. The professor then called "Over there! My bag!", then Sawada looked at the bag. "What is in it?" Sawada asked, then the professor replied "The thing you came here for!". Sawada didn't understand what he mean't, so he opened the bag.
"W-what!?" Sawada shouted. Sawada saw the three choices: Torchic, Piplup, and Snivy. "I choose..." Sawada said out loud. He was trying to choose the right Pokémon, till he made the right decision. "I choose Torchic!" Sawada cried. He picked up Torchic's poké ball, and didn't know what to do.
Just then, suddenly, there was a voice far away. "If you wanna do something nearly impossible, do it with your dying will." said someone, and that someone was Reborn! Reborn got Leon, his lizard, and he turned Leon into a sniper rifle. He got some Hyper Dying Will bullets, then Sawada got hit, and he will protect the professor with his dying will.
"Go Torchic!" Sawada cried when throwing the poké ball. He threw the poké ball, then it enlarged, and then Torchic came out of the poké ball. "The moves are Scratch and Growl!" The professor cried. The gang turned, then the leader said "Wanna fight, huh?", then they all threw out their poké balls.
There were 6 members. The leader's Pokémon was a Gastly, while everyone else had a NidoranM. "Nidoran, use Thunderbolt!" The members cried, then Sawada cried "Dodge, then use Scratch, Torchic!", so Torchic dodged, then used Scratch. All of the NidoranM's fainted, then they were sent back to it's owner.
"Wanna fight?" The leader asked. Sawada nodded, then the leader shouted "Use Dark Pulse, and when it dodges, use Shadow Ball, Gastly!", so Gastly used, it, but then Torchic decided to scratch throw all the moves. "Use Fire Blast, Torchic!" Sawada cried, so Torchic didn't know what to do, so Sawada then got TM38, which he found on the ground before, and used it on Torchic.
Torchic then used Fire Blast without stopping, and it stops when it wins. "Cheater!" The leader cried, but then the leader lost, and he ran away. Sawada's dying will stopped, and then the professor got up, and told Sawada something. "It seems you used a TM." The professor said.
"And?" Sawada asked. The professor then asked "Will you take care of Torchic? I would be glad.", then Sawada answered "Obviously, yes! Why would you think I would be here? After walking 2km away from my house!". The professor then said "You can sleep in the Pokémon Center", then walked away. Sawada looked at his Pokémon, then he smiled.
