The Country of Meiyadarin: Chapter 1, Part 10, The Requests From the Supreme Duchess

by ~Rinko~

~Rinko~ Maria, Christopher and Adriana all take on some special tasks for an upcoming event. One that everyone in Celestialle is excited about! Though, why the tasks were giving to them doesn't fully make sense. (part 10)
Elisia sighed, resting against the doorframe right of the staircase. “I’m surprised at you saying that. You’ve never used any sayings like that from your home country before.”

“Ah...? Oh yes, I usually try to avoid that, to avoid confusion.” Christopher said, seemingly seeming the situation to be awkward.

“Well, looks like you don’t really have to anymore!” Elisia smiled, pushing herself of the wall.

“Too true, Miss Miss Eli!” screeched Adriana, who, I turned to see, had finally come back to the palace, after not arriving the night before. “Ya’ll won’t believe what held me up... anywa-“

“Adriana, you can save your report for later, you know that right?” Elisia interrupted, her smile shrinking a little, though it was still clearly there.

“Oh, alright then! See ya’ later!” she called out, running towards the staircase.

“Well, that little mystery is solved.” Elisia muttered, walking across the staircase, where she soon leant against the wall once more.

“Ah, Supreme Duchess, I believe Adriana may have brought along a guest for some pre-banquet discussions...?” Christopher said, tilting his head at Elisia.

“Oh?”

“Indeed, I came to talk with you on behalf of the young king of Ara, Alex Flamekin, about the Celesti Island treaty.” came the stern and hoarse voice of a tall man in red and orange armour, standing just within the room. He had had small, sharp and stern red eyes and straight orange hair, going down his back about halfway, as well.

“I see, well, I’m not open on any discussion about that just yet. Even if I were, it would be rude to not include Stephana in said discussion, seeing as it does directly affect Sakun.” Elisia matter-of-factly stated, pushing herself of the wall.

Okay, apparently it's not writing from Adriana's point-of-view that lets me write a lot. I managed to right 300 words, when I only need the 200-and-something.
