This honestly isn't bad but it's me who's writing it so how good could it get
Georgia was never the type to enjoy makeup, dresses, pink. No. She was a simple minded girl who enjoyed things like playing outside, playing with her pets, drawing and making things. But her whole life changed when she turned 8, and was given a gift. That gift was a magical one, at least to her. It was a rectangular white box, with a slot in the side. That magical box ate flat circles that you fed it, and would show you moving images and sounds on your TV. That magical gift was a Wii. And now, she was older, she was fourteen. And that Wii had gotten a good use. And by good I mean absolutely loved and cherished, the logo's paint chipped and scuffed. She had played countless games on it, and there was never a dull moment. From Mario to Mega Man, she played almost all of it. And she loved it that way. So that was why her world went into a spiraling panic when she came home that day.

It was like every day, she came home, changed, hung up her backpack and took out her homework. She spent about 45 minutes on it, perfecting each product and answer. Finally, she was done, and she put the horrible papers into her bag. Then with a huge smile, she bounded over to the 8-year old console, stopped next to it and looked through her library of discs. She decided on a game and took it out of it's case carefully, and slipped it into the machine slot.

A dreadful sound could be heard from the inside, and after visible struggling, the CD was spat out. Georgia frowned, inspecting the slot and blowing on it a little, then re-inserting the disc. After a few seconds, she got the same result. She powered the console on and off, and tried a different game. Now this process repeated about 5 times with multiple games, and finally she sat, defeated. "I'll give it time." Georgia had mused quietly, putting the items back. With slumped shoulders she trudged back to her room to read for a bit, deciding to try again in a couple hours.
