Chapter 1
Ray was in Mewtwo’s forest mansion, practicing some Telekinesis on leaves when Pikachu rushed in, panting. “Ray!” he gasped. “I just saw a rock that floated up in the sky, spun around, and a Pokemon emerged! Not like any I’ve seen until now!” “Sounds like another mission to me!” said Ray.
Ray and Pikachu flew out of Ray’s room and to Mewtwo’s room, where Mewtwo was meditating. “What is it, Ray?” he asked, coming out of Theta. “I discovered a new Pokemon!” Pikachu said, huffing and puffing.
Mewtwo gasped. “What did it look like?” asked a Gardevoir, who was Mewtwo’s sketch artist. “Well… it was pale with sky-blue eyes that looked like it was crying, and kind of egg-shaped. It, in addition, had a curved slit on its belly, a gold half-star on its head, and turquoise tassels that looked like receipts hanging downwards from the star with writing on them.”
“So the Pokemon looked like this?” Gardevoir asked, holding up the drawing. “Yes! Exactly like that!”exclaimed Pikachu. “This is Jirachi, the wish making Pokemon!” said Alakazam, the brainiest Pokemon in the mansion.
“Do you know what this indicates?” said Pikachu excitedly, hopping up and down. “It means...” “That if we uncover it...” “It will grant our wishes!!” said Ray, Mewtwo, and Pikachu, completing each other’s sentences.
“Let’s go now!” hollered Pikachu, and leaped onto Ray’s back. Startled, Ray bucked, leaving poor Pikachu sprawled on the ground, stunned.
“Whoops. Sorry, Pikachu.”Ray apologized. Pikachu sprung up, hyperactive from all the commotion. “It’s all right! We should go straight away!”Pikachu declared.
Ray hesitated, waiting for Pikachu to jump on his back again, but Pikachu just stood there. “Well? Come on and Mega Evolve!”he cried impatiently. “Mega Evolve!” hollered Ray and Mewtwo at the same time. A familiar blast of light shone onto them, and the rainbow-colored Mega Evolution symbol appeared in front of the three of them.
“I love flying!” shouted Mega Pikachu as they ascended into the sky, Mewtwo’s forest mansion getting smaller and smaller beneath them as they zoomed through the mesosphere. Finally, they reached the exosphere of the Earth.
“Whoa!” Mega Pikachu said. “I didn’t know I could breathe in space just because I am a Mega!” Everyone thought it was cool and all, but they had more significant things to focus on, like summoning Ho-oh to talk to her. Mega Ray focused on a defeated feeling, looking around. At long last, the three of them saw a golden glimmer, and Ho-oh was flying towards them from the moon. “Sorry I took so long,” she said to them.
“That’s ok, but can you watch over the earth for about 7 days so Pikachu, Mewtwo and I could go in search for the mythical Jirachi?” “Of course, anything to help you with your missions.” she replied, then flew off back towards the moon. As they witnessed her leaving, Mega Pikachu said to Mega Ray, “You’re so lucky to have a reliable partner like that.”
“I know, but I’m unsure if she was created for a reason, or if it was a mistake.” replied Mega Ray. “I know it was for a reason, Ray, otherwise why would she exist in the first place?” replied Mega Mewtwo X. The three friends dived down into the earth’s upper and then lower atmosphere. Once they got back to the mansion, Mega Pikachu asked Mega Ray, “When we find Jirachi, what are you going to wish for?”
“I think I will wish for the power to be a shapeshifter.” replied Mega Ray. “Cool, I think I will wish for the power to fly as fast as you without Mega Evolving.” said Mega Pikachu proudly. “I will wish for the ability to control time so we can go back and forth.” added Mega Mewtwo X.
All at once, Alakazam floated over to them. “Most of the servants have packed a travel bag for you with food, water, energy, and Mega evolution stones just in case.” said Alakazam, bowing his head. “Great! Thanks, Alakazam.” replied Mega Mewtwo X.
The Pokemon trio packed up their belongings in the travel bag and gave a last farewell to the servants, in which they all waved back. As the ceiling to the mansion slowly opened, Alakazam yelled, “Use your evolution stones wisely!” just before they took off into the sky, leaving a trail of dust behind.
