"We're going in after it." Elijah replied.

Our heroes managed to grab a few hours of sleep before waking up early the next morning. They changed into their casual attire and slowly crept through the hallway careful not to wake Richard, the old man, up. They figured that if he found out what their plan was he'd try and stop them.

They made their way to the front door and noticed something lying on the entrance table. It wa two scuba sets with a note next to them reading:

"You can never stop young-minded and spirited teenagers. I know from experience. If you're going after the beast, you'll need these. Good luck. -Richard"

Our heroes looked at each other and nodded. They weren't turning back now.

They walked on to the sandy beach fully decked out in their scuba gear. Froakie was the only one of their Pokemon that could physically go along so it was their only choice. Elijah grabbed its Pokeball and launched it in the air. out came the half-awake blue frog ready for its assignment. "Let's do this." Ava said confidently.

The two trainers and Froakie dove into the crystal blue water in hopes of finding out why the beast is terrorizing the beach. Thankfully, they didn't have to look hard to find it. It was flying at them underwater at full speed. Ava swam around and noticed it coming straight for them. She screamed as loud as she could to get Elijah's attention since the water muffled their voices. It was enough and Elijah also turned to see the shadow of the beast coming straight for them. He pointed at it and Froakie knew what to do. It fired off a Water Pulse to prevent it from ramming into them.

The attack caused the beast to be launched backwards. Our heroes now got their first glimpse of it in full color. Ava's face lit up in terror, "IT'S A DRAGALGE!" She yelled as loud as he could. Elijah didn't understand her but he still nodded. Elijah snapped his finger which was a sign to Froakie to use Smokescreen. Froakie and Elijah had practiced certain hand signals for underwater battles. Just another glimpse of how hard the trainer and his Pokemon work.

Froakie nodded and created a think cloud of smoke allowing the two trainers to swim back to shore. They sat down on the warm sand and took their masks off. Elijah began to speaking breathing heavily, "We need to come up with a better approach to figuring out what's wrong." Ava wiped her face off and asked, "I agree, but what do we do?" Elijah thought for a moment, but nothing was coming to him. He looked out on the ocean and noticed the crazy amount of fish traps on top of the water. "That's it!" He thought to himself. He turned to Ava, "I have an idea."

Our heroes managed to drag a nearby wooden rowboat to the shore. The hopped in along with Froakie and set sail. Froakie used smokescreen to create cover for our heroes to navigate around picking the traps out of the water one by one. Dragalge caught on to their presence and spam up to the shore near them and readied a Dragon Pulse. "Dragalge wait!" Ava called out. Dragalge unreadied his attack and looked at her confused. "We know why you're upset. The local fishing companies are setting traps in your waters correct? They're capturing the local Pokemon living here correct? Well, we're here to stop them. We don't want to hurt you or any of the other wild Pokemon living here. Instead of attack everything that comes near, we should work peacefully and communicate to these companies. Get them to take their traps out of this area." She told it.

The Pokemon calmed down and looked up at the two trainers. It wasn't sure if it should trust them or not. "Please. People and Pokemon can use this area together. If we work things out, you and the Pokemon here can live peacefully, and humans can come here to enjoy the area. None of the Pokemon will be harmed. You just have to trust us." Elijah spoke. The Pokemon nodded and swam back underwater to return to its business. Whatever that may be. Our heroes hurried back to the shore to find a curious Richard awaiting their arrival.

"Was your search successful?" Richard asked. Ava nodded, "We figured out why it was so mad. The traps out there set by the fishing companies are upsetting it. It doesn't want the wild Pokemon living there to be taken for personal use of humans." Richard's eyes lit up, "That would explain why the traps keep turning up ripped to shreds. How do you plan to fix the problem?" "We need to speak to the companies about moving their equipment elsewhere. then, everything should return to normal." Elijah replied. Richard nodded and helped out heroes get in contact with the companies. Ava briefed them on the problem and they were happy to not only move their equipment, but help push for a law stating no catching of Pokemon in this area was allowed. Pleased with the outcome of the situation, our heroes headed down to the shore to tell Dragalge.

It was waiting for them as they expected. "The companies agreed to move their traps elsewhere." Ava told it. The Dragalge lit up with happiness. "Not only that, but they're going to push for a no capture law on the Pokemon living here. From now on, no attacking the beach goers. This beach will be shared by humans and Pokemon." The Pokemon nodded very thankful for our heroes' work. It swam down into the depths this time to never cause havoc again.

Richard waved our heroes off as the continued down the road in search for Coumarine City, home of their fourth Gym Battle. The mysterious trainer with a Chesnaught lurked behind them. He was very impressed with the successfulness over their mission.
