Okay, so this is the discussion thread for a Yugioh RP I plan to make. I'm not entirely sure about the timeline and setting, so I'm holding a poll.
The options are in the Dark Side Of Dimensions timeline, 1 year after that movie. The Rp would take place at Domino City High, the same school that Yugi and his friends attended.
The second option is in the Gx timeline, In Duel Academy 3 years after the events of season 4. The cast of GX have already left the academy, and DSOD hasn't happened.
In both timelines all summoning mechanics have been introduced.

Discovering that his parent's company had shady dealings with Kaibacorp and Industrial Illusions, Kiryu tried his best to use his inherited money to figure out the truth, taking every opportunity to meet and challenge Seto Kaiba. After he once again failed, he hears word of the King Of Games exhibition, being held at Kaiba's own Duel Academy. With Yugi visiting Duel Academy for the event, Kaiba is sure to show up. Now, Kiryu bides his time until he can get into Duel Academy:
