Chapter 1: Welcome to Crimson Academy!

(Excuse the visual. I've never even seen this anime before and I have no idea what's going on. Just had to find something upbeat to start the Arc and this music seemed to do the trick.)
Welcome to Crimson Veil City, one of the most technologically advanced cities in the entire country. Jonathan D. Crimson formed Crimson Academy, a duel school made to turn chumps into champions. They have 5 main courses to choose from that correspond to five major summoning methods [XYZ, Synchro, Fusion, Link, Ritual] as well as various other classes you can take to further your dueling skills like [Pendulum Summoning] class. It's up to you to learn as much as you can in school so that you can become the best duelist that you can be and move on to make a difference in the world somehow.

However, be wary of the evil forces that have their eyes on Crimson Veil. The dastardly group known simply as "Unbound" is threatening to destroy everything that the city stands for. Will your duelists rise to the challenge and put an end to Unbound's plans? Maybe everyone might not see things eye to eye when it comes to Unbound's ideals? Will you fight the evil, or join in Unbound's fight for destruction, or maybe even go your own way doing as you please? The fate of Crimson Veil rests in the hands of the duelists so who knows what could happen?

Only one way to find out.....It's time to Duel!

On a bright and early morning, the golden sun began its rise allowing golden rays to slip between the cracks of buildings as the ball of gas made its ascent into the sky. Plenty of students who were hoping to apply for a general studies course were crowding at the doors of the most popular dueling school around. Crimson Academy had every door open that they possibly could, allowing the masses to flock into the school. However, there was little to no trouble entering the building for students who were part of a special course that is. Regardless of the class, all the students eventually flooded into either the cafeteria, one of the six gyms, or the auditorium. A hologram display was shown in each of the locations that displayed the very man who created the school. There stood Jonathan D. Crimson, the very founder of Crimson Academy, and the hero of Crimson Veil City.

"Now now...I see that we still have many members flooding in, but I think I'll get started anyways. After all, we do have to move this day along. Plenty to do, and tons of students to sort out." the doctor spoke ending with a light chuckle.

"Greetings students, or Crimson Academy hopefuls. Whatever category you find yourself under, I welcome you to this dueling school!" he exclaimed as the students in the crowd went wild with admiration for everything that the man stood for.

"Now, like I said before I'm going to make things quick and easy because there is much to be done on this very glorious day. I'm sure you've all heard great things about this place. We've made champions from absolutely nothing! I'm sure you all remember last year's champion of the Crimson Cup, Riker Blackwell. Well....he attended this fine school just last year before graduating with honors and winning the tournament!" the man spoke, eventually getting to the point where he was shouting in almost a sort of preaching manner. Again, the crowd was simply amazed by the success of the school and went crazy for the Doctor.

Holding up a hand, Doctor Crimson brought the savage crowd to a silence. "Let's get down to business shall we duelists? This works one of two ways: If you were accepted into a special summoning program, you should've received a letter from one of the professors before coming here today. These students will head to the designated gym for your program. There are six gyms, one for each summoning class, and of course one for the general studies course. There you will wait for your professor and he or she will take it from there. Now, for the other students, or the ones I like to call "hopefuls". You all are probably here in an attempt to apply for a general studies course. While this school is amazing, it pains me to say that not everyone will be accepted. However, all these applicants will be participating in a 3 day after school event. A simple tournament, a showcase of your dueling ability that will determine whether you belong here or not. Once again, students with a letter that gives them admission into the general course may go straight to the general gym, you are accepted. I think that covers everything. Now you kids go have an amazing day, and after school the dueling starts for you applicants." the doctor finished, closing his eyes with a smirk.

"Now you all know it, and love it. So since you're all here we're gonna say it together!" the doctor exclaimed. He started the call and recall chant that the school said on a daily basis.

"Crimson!"................"Burn!"
"Dueling!"................."Passion!"
"Education!"............."Soul!"

"And class dismissed." the doctor said briefly, ending the morning ceremony. The hologram dissipated in every available viewing area, leaving the students to follow the directions given to them by the dear doctor himself.

The doctor sat alone in his office with a smile as he watched the kids flock to their designated locations. "It sure is going to be a great year." he said with a smirk.

(Had to throw in an ending as well, just had to look for it. Even though it's an opening to an anime I felt like it had an ending kinda feel to it as well so I threw it in there)

Diana watched the speech of the Doctor in the Auditorium, completely enraptured by the speech. She couldn't believe she was actually here, at the Crimson Academy! Diana was so excited she could barely restrain herself. This was her big dream, and she was finally living it. But as she listened to the speech, the Doctor said something that made her nervous. A tournament? Oh, no! What if she went up against a really strong duelist right off the bat? What if her deck wasn't good enough? What if-
Calm down, Diana. Your skills and deck are totally good enough! You can do this! Diana thought to herself. Adjusting her orange blazer, she started to make her way out of the Auditorium.

Chance, on the other hand, wasn't paying much attention to the speech of the doctor. The boy was sitting on the ground in the back of the Auditorium, shaking a pair of dice in his hand. Two other boys were sitting across from Chance, watching him intently.
"Come on, 7 or 11, seven or eleven...." Chance muttered. He blew on the dice, and rolled them. They clattered to a stop, and Chance smiled at the boys. "Yahtzee."
The boys eyes widened, and they looked at each other.
"How did you do that?" The first boy asked. Chance just shrugged and smiled a cocky smile.

Donald stood from his seat in the auditorium and look around at the other duelist. As he looked around he saw three students playing what appeared to be Yahtzee on the floor. Smirking at the antics of the other students he walked towards the doors when he neared the doors he bumped into a cute girl with a orange blazer on.

" Sorry. I didn't notice you there," Donald said, " My names Donald Jameson a Synchro Summon specialist. It's nice to see this school has some decent looking girls around." After he finished he held out his hand for a hand shake hoping she would to take it.

Diana looked at the boy that bumped into her for a moment. What did he mean by that, decent looking girls? Deciding that it didn't really matter, she took Donald's hand anyway.
"Diana. Diana Iranov." Diana said, smiling kindly. "I'm part of the Fusion major, if I can get through the tournament."
She continued to walk to the door, alongside Donald, her exitement clearly showing.
"Isn't it amazing! We're actually here, at the Crimson Academy! Ooh, I can't wait!" Diana said. She glanced at the deck box that clung to her belt. "My monsters feel ready to fight!"

Chance pocketed the dice as the students began to filter out of the Auditorium.
"Later, guys." Chance said to the two boys he was throwing dice with. He had been listening to the speech given by the Doc enough to know he had to head to a gym for the no majors. Psah, he didn't need to specialize in an Extra Deck style to be a good duelist. Chance thought that was pretty pretentious of the Academy to assume that. The boy knew plenty of people that had great decks that didn't revolve around extra decks. Chance fished his lucky half-dollar out of his pocket and began flipping it in the air as he walked.

"So you have to enter the tournament," James said disappointed that the pretty girl might not be accepted. "Thats ashame, I have to go and find the Sychro gym so I can meet the professor. I look forward to seeing you around the academy. Best of luck to you Diana." James said and waved good bye heading towards the Synchro gym.

"See you around, James!" Diana said, waving to the boy. Filled with confidence, Diana began to make her way to the gym for those pursuing the Fusion major. Diana had worked so hard to get to the Crimson Acadamy, and she wasn't going to let a small tournament get in her way.

As for Chance, he was walking down the hall, flipping his coin, when someone accidently nudged his arm. The half dollar bounced off his hand and rolled down the hall, coming to a stop at James' foot. Chance began to try to make his way back to the coin.

The Professors of the major summoning courses as well as the professors for the general studies course waited in their respective gyms as the students came piling in.

In the Fusion Gym, Professor Y stood eagerly at the door ready to greet each and every one of her students as they entered the gathering area. "Welcome!...Welcome!...Welcome!" she repeated herself, giving the same cheery greeting to each and every student that she had. Despite the woman's childish upfront attitude, she was actually a woman of objective, and possessed amazing dueling skills.

Meanwhile in the Synchro gym, Professor S sat on a stool that she'd placed in the gym giving the same intimidating scowl that she gave to all of her arrivals. She didn't really seem all that talkative, and was actually really rough around the edges. However, if push came to shove, put her on a D-Runner and her ability to protect her students becomes unrivaled by any other.

In the General Studies gym, Professor N simply smiled at all of his new students as they rolled in. He knew that being the head professor of the General Studies course would prove to be challenging due to the over-abundance of students, but that's why he had his two assistant professors with him. The man himself was really easy-going, and simply wished to challenge his students. He wanted to show them that even they could be great, regardless of their use of the Extra Deck or not.

[GM Note: This is where your characters would come in and do whatever I guess. I'll be rping as some other students that you might come across or even the professors. @Cardboard Shinobi @PKMN_Trainer_Mouse @VolcanoPheonix ]

"... Say, what a nice gym." muttered jack as he came trough the gym doors. He looked around and when its time for the class to begin he sat down to his proper seat. he looked at his deck and shuffled it, just to kill time. A card slipped from his card and glided to the gym door. he walked into it but as bad luck would have it, he stepped on a deflating balloon near the card, pushing it outside. "Whoops." he opened the gym door and saw the card get pushed near a girl walking to the fusion gym.

On her way to the Fusion Gym, Dahlia noticed a card flutter to feet. Curious, the girl knelt down and picked up the duel monsters card. Flipping it over, she saw that it was a Cyber Dragon card. A powerful machine type, and a really cool one at that. Dahlia looked up to find a boy, presumably the card's owner, open the door to the gym.
"Umm... Excuse me." Dahlia said to Jack. "Is this your card?"

Holden Brooks, another student that was also a part of the Fusion class, was on his way into the gym when suddenly he was passed by a boy who seemed to be chasing his card. The student smirked as he finally caught up to his alleged classmate. He laid eyes on both Jack and Diana, giving them a smirk. "So you call yourself a duelist, yet you let your card slip away from you like that? Furthermore, you are unable to safely retrieve it in a timely manner, and even let it fall into someone else's hands." he finished, glaring at the girl. Holden shrugged, "I guess I can understand your lack of motivation though. Not like that puny little robot dragon is good for much in the long run anyways. Whenever the real challenges start, I bet you'll be out of here in a heartbeat." Holden spoke, the grin never leaving his face.

Jack looked at the boy, and took his deck. "let me see your deck. hmm." he threw the cards in the air "whoops, slipped out of my hand, i am such a klutz." jack sarcastically said. he walked into the girl and took the card. "yes, it is, thank you." He glared into the girl and said "I am jack ester. nice to meet you." he walked back to the gym door putting the card back into his deck.

When Holden insulted Jack, Diana stared at him in shock. The insults seemed to come out of nowhere, and were pretty big jerk moves. But before Diana could go off on him, Jack did something even worse. He literally took the black haired boy's deck and threw it, sending cards flying everywhere! Diana watched in shock as Duel Monster cards fluttered to the ground. She didn't even notice that Jack had took back his card. Snapping out of her shock, Diana went after Jack and grabbed him roughly by the shoulder.

"Who the heck do you think you are?!" Diana asked Jack angrily. "Just because someone's a jerk doesn't mean you can just throw his deck to the ground!"

Chance, meanwhile, was lost. Since he wasn't paying much attention to the speech that the Doctor gave eaelier, he didn't really know where the No Major Gym was. He had already found the Synchro Gym, but had been kicked out by the teacher. Like, literally kicked out of the room. Still, what a babe! Turning a corner, Chance did see a sign pointing towards the Fusion Gym. Hmmm... Maybe one of the duelists there has the card I'm looking for... Chance thought. But as he approached the gym, the boy noticed another kid, a black haired boy, with a bunch of duel monster cards all on the floor around him. Taking off his sunglasses, Chance assessed the situation.
"Jeez, what happened here?" Chance asked Holden.

jack silently walked back to the gym ignoring the girl. he went back into his desk, and silently stood. he shuffled his deck again and sighs. jack looked up and said "okay, i will do it. ill apologize..." he stood up and walked to the gym door. he opened it and helped the boy. "ugh. even tough your a jerk i shouldn't be a jerk to you too. i am very sorry about that." he sat down on the floor and gave the cards to the boy. "you see, i have a very bad childhood. my parents has gone missing and i got bullied for being a orphan... i really hated about that so i started fighting them... that's why i'm really quiet."

Holden was absolutely startled by the way that Jack had thrown his deck, and then assisted him in picking up the scattered cards. After listening to Jack's story about being an orphan he seemed to soften up a bit. However, he still snatched his deck back from the boy and put on an ugly snarl. "So kid, you think you can just embarrass me on the first day and get away with it? Wrong." he said, pulling his duel disk out and slapping it onto his arm. He slid his deck into the slot before the machine shuffled the cards. The electro-neon display luminized in front of the disk as Holden stared down Jack. "You game kid?" he'd ask.

[Official Battle Results: Holden Wins]

"Beastborg Panther Predator! Take the rest of this chump's life points!" Holden shouted as the beast swiftly moved towards Jack. One swipe of a claw clean across the body of the other fusion student was the end of the duel. The virtual HUD appeared next to Jack, dropping his life points to zero. The teen smiled cockily as the field area around both students began to dissipate, along with anything involved with their duel. Holden walked across the gym, pushing past Jack . "That was barely a duel ya flunkie. At least try next time, then again, at the rate you're dueling there won't be a next time. You'll probably get removed from this school based on your lack of skill alone, and don't even get me started on your attitude." the student mocked as he began to walk off.

"... he might be strong but hes still a jerk..." jack stood up and wiped his jacket off dirt. he went back to the gym. he sat down at his desk and lisened at the professor. he is still thinking of how he can beat him in a duel. but nothing came to mind. "ARGH." he said thinking hard.

Following the duel between Jack and Holden, all the summoning major students were accounted for and moved to their classrooms. Professor Y stood at the front of the classroom with a huge smile on her face. "Hello Hello Hello my wonderful Fusion summoner students. I'm sure each and every one of you enjoyed the doctor's speech, and are looking forward to going through the year learning some pretty amazing things. Anyways, I won't waste any time. Most of you already know what this class consists of sooooo...." she said, her voice trailing off as she turned away to pull on a wire. From the ceiling dropped a big poster that displayed an event of some sort.

"This is the Inter-High Dueling Extravaganza!!!" she exclaimed, practically squealing with excitement. "I know...I know, very exciting I'm sure. However, this tournament is very serious. You'll be put against strong duelists from other schools, and as this is a dueling class, your grades may be affected by the outcome of your duels, as may your standing in the academy itself. So of course I encourage you all to do your best because I don't want to see any of you sent home so early. Anyways, the tournament is in approximately a week so you have about that much time to prepare. We'll be dueling everyday in here so I'd like you all to get right to it!" she explained.

[Time for a bit of training because I want you guys to have a shot at improving before the tournament starts. Today will be the first day of hardcore dueling. You'll fight three matches each, even Chance though he's not in class yet. I'll PM you with your win/loss ratio after I roll out the three matches each. After I PM you then feel free to Rp those victories/loses however you'd like. Just make sure to include in your post coming into the classroom, reacting to Professor Y's explanation, and of course, getting ready to duel your opponents.]

"...hmm, i guess i could give it a try." said jack after the professor said about the event. "it could have hard opponents heh. i should." he happily said putting his deck into his disk. yawned and looked at his disk again. "but i just hope we win."

Diana watched the duel between Jack and Holden. Both did well, and seemed pretty strong, even if Holden was the one that won. However, Diana didn't really like either of the boys yet. Jack did seem a bit nicer then Holden, but throwing a duelist's deck was no joke. Diana snapped out of her thoughts, and began to pay attention to what the teacher was telling the class.

An Inter-High Dueling Tournament! Diana was excited by the mere thought of it. Having just watched a duel, she felt the eagerness to battle rise in her heart. She was ready to duel. Diana looked around the gym, and found that she wasn't sitting very far away from Jack. She waved to the boy, then noticed another boy standing against the door frame. He wore a leather jacket and sunglasses, copping a similar style to the duelist Bandit Keith she saw in those old Duelist Kngdom videos she would watch as a kid.

After Professor Y finished talking, Diana's hand shot up in the air.
"Excuse me, Professor! Are you saying that if we do bad in the tournament, then we'll be kicked out of school?" Diana asked.

The Professor looked over in Diana's direction and smiled, "Well yeah there's always that chance, but I'd really not like to lose any of my precious little fusion babies so I wish you all the best of luck!" the professor cheered. The possibility would always be there at any moment in time. The staff could come right in and remove a student from the campus if they weren't keeping up with the standards of the school, or representing Crimson Academy the way that the dear Doctor thought it should be. However, for most of the new kids it wasn't as big of a deal considering most of the staff members were interested in seeing their potential for themselves.

Professor Y smiled, "Annnnnnd maybe if you guys do well then we can see about bringing over some of the Xyz boys to come fight with you! They are pretty hot if I do say so myself." she said, whispering the 'hot' part of the sentence while also giving a little wink. A Professor at a prestigious dueling academy with the attitude of a college party girl. How could anything possibly go wrong? She nodded, "I know that doesn't really matter much to half of my students, considering you're guys..or maybe it does, to each their own. Just thought I'd mention it for those who cared." she said, almost swooning over what seemed like absolutely nothing.

The woman then shook her head as she turned around to pick up her clipboard. "Alright alright here we go. It's time to duel!" she exclaimed, matching every student up with their three training partners.

[Okay now I'll PM you your results cause I have them all now]

Chance watched the antics of the Fusion Professor, smiling, before walking away to find the No Major Gym. If all the professors were as pretty as the Fusion and Synchro ones, then going to school here might not be too bad...

"Greetings, Challenger!" Diana turned to find a boy wearing an anime t-shirt and bright blonde hair addressing her, wearing what looked like an armor-like duel disk. He struck an unusual pose. "I am Shiori Fujimoto, your first training partner!"
The boy talked very dramatically and even threw in a few poses. For some reason, Diana was reminded of the Power Rangers.
"Hello." Diana said, activating her duel disk. "I'm Diana Iranov. Shall we get in with it?"
"I never thought you'd ask!" Shiori said dramatically.

Alright... All I need is one more hit. One more hit, and he's done. Diana thought. On her field were the monsters YZ-Tank Cannon and VW-Tiger Catapult. Shiori's field was empty, with only one face-down card in his spell and trap card zone. The life point count stood at Diana with 2000 and Shiori at 300.
"Had enough yet?" Diana asked. Shiori merely smiled.
"Not nearly! I draw!" Shiori declared. "From the grave, Psychic Armor Head's effect activates, allowing me to special summon it."
A futuristic helmet appeared on Shiori's head, and the duelist smiled.

"I'll also activate my spell card, Armored Gravitation! This allows me to special summon four Level Four or lower armor monsters from my deck, as long as I control Psychic Armor Head!" Futuristic armor suddenly appeared on Shiori, covering him from head to toe. Diana checked the monster's stats, but none of their attacks were higher than 1000. What was he planning?
"Now! For the battle phase! Thanks to Over Boost's effect, my armor monsters can attack directly this turn! Also, my face down card's effect activates! Limiter Removal doubles the attack of my machine monsters!" Shiori declared as his face down card flipped up. His armor began to glow brightly, and Diana watched as his Burning Knuckle monster's attack rose to 2000. Diana grit her teeth.

"Here I come, Diana!" Shiori yelled. Rockets from his boots activated, sending the armored duelist flying over Diana's monsters.
"Trap Card, Activate! Mirror Force!" Diana yelled. A glowing reflective shield bubble surrounded Diana, but Shiori didn't stop.
"Trap Buster's effect! It negates the effect of an opponent's trap that would destroy 2 or more monsters on the field!" Shiori yelled back. His left arm, the Trap Buster, punched through the Mirror Force, shattering it. Then, walking up to Diana, he gently flicked her in the nose.
"Good game." Shiori said as Diana's life points fell to zero. Diana sighed and conceded defeat, and the holograms faded.

Meanwhile, back at the no major gym, Chance was not having a good time.
"Of course, I'd be stuck with the nerdy professor..." Chance muttered, glaring at Professor N.

Just like Professor Y and the fusion students, Professor N was running duels in his gym for practice purposes as well. "All of us need to be ready for this tournament so I need you all to work very hard or whatever." the man said, his voice trailing off. The same kind of training was also taking place in the Xyz, Synchro, and Ritual gyms as well.

Doctor Crimson sat in his office with eyes locked onto his many screens that displayed the duelists in each of the gyms. "What amazing potential these young ones have. I'm sure we'll defeat Bridgewater and smash the first round wide open!" he exclaimed with a proud grin that displayed a mixture of pride and excitement.

Meanwhile, back in the Fusion gym, Professor E poked his head into the room to take a look at the students. He just witnessed Diana take a hard fall after losing her duel.

"Oh wow would you look at that. You fought really well young lady." the Professor spoke as he casually strolled in over towards Diana, offering her his hand with a slight smile. "You may have lost, but don't let it keep you down. You still have two more games to play so continue to do your best." he finished;

Jack stepped up to the stage. a very well dressed boy was waiting for him. he seems to be rich, and it looks like he has a insect type deck, he said to jack "I am Hoshi Hikari. i will be your opponent." Jack replied "I am jack ester. lets have fun!" he said with a slight smile. "ill go first. draw!" hoshi shouted.
[half an hour later]
"Almost there!" jack thunk. he has his Rampage dragon in the field and no monsters on his. they both have 500 LP left and it is jack's turn. "Chimera, ATTACK HIM DIRECTLY!" the dragon charged at hoshi and the boy went flying, and lost all of his life points. the field around them dissapeared. he walked into the boy and helped him stand up. "it was a great game. i have a fun time battling with you." hoshi said, smiling "yeah it is." jack thunk "2 More!"

"Th-thank you, sir!" Diana said to Professor E, bowing slightly. She ran off to find her next duel.

"Hey, get up!" Chance looked over just as a girl kicked his chair. She had blue hair, strangely, and a duel disk on her arm. Crossing her arms, she glared at Chance. "Get up, you slacker! I'm your first duel partner."
Chance sighed and got out of his seat. "Alright then. Let's go." The two duelist activated their duel disks, and the duel began.

"The Spell card Dark Core allows me to banish your Blowback Dragon! Now, Chaos Sorcerer, destroy his Snipe Hunter!" The girl's monster formed a ball of dark magic in it's hand, and threw it at the Snipe Hunter. With a screech, Chance's monster exploded into pixels and Chance's Life Points fell to 700. "Turn, end!"
"Not bad." Chance said, drawing a card. "You got a name?"
"Jasmine." The girl said, looking at Chance with annoyance. Her life points stood at 1500. "Now hurry up and lose!"
"Hey, hey, relax? How about another minigame, eh?" Chance said, activating a spell card.

A glass table appeared between the two duelists, and a hologram of darkness appeared around them, giving Chance and Jasmine the illusion of being alone. Jasmine rolled her eyes. "Here's how it works. You pick a monster card level, then I pick up cards off my deck until I get to a monster. If the monster is the level you call, it gets sent to the grave. If not, I can special summon it. The rest of the cards I picked up her sent to the grave."
"Whatever, that's easy. Four." Jasmine said. "Most of the weaker monsters you've used so far have had that level."
Chance drew a card and looked at it, then smiled.
"Here comes my most powerful monster! Barrel Dragon!" A hologram of the large, gunlike dragon burst from the earth, pointing it's cannons at Jasmine's Chaos Sorcerer. It's cylinders began to rotate. "It's effect! If two of it's cylinders stop on bullets, your Chaos Magician is destroyed!"
There were three clicks as the cylinders stopped rotating, and two of barrel dragon's cannons went off, blowing the Chaos Magician to pixels.

"Now, Barrel Dragon! Attack directly!" Chance commanded.
"Trap Card, activate! Ring of Destruction!" Jasmine said as her face down card flipped up. A ring of grenades appeared around Barrel Dragon's neck, and detonated. "We both take damage equal to Barrel Dragon's attack!"
A holographic dust cloud was thrown up as both duelists life points fell to zero.

Meanwhile, back at the Fusion Gym, Diana also ended up in a tie with a girl that used an Evil Hero deck.

then a girl went to the stage. "hello there! i am Laura Silvia!" jack sighed "oh no a loud mouthed girl..." he quietly said. she has a aqua type card. jack shouted "lets start. DRAW!" the girl giggled. "i won't let you win!"
[2 and a half hours later.]
"oh no no no no." there are no monsters in his field. and a spearfish soldier at her field. also he has 300 while she has 1000 "wait, i think i have a chance. hm,hm,hm." the girl looked at him and said "my soldier attack him directly!" jack said "oops. not yet! i activate reflect barrier! when your monster declares an attack, target the attacking monster, and negate it! if it did, you will get damaged by a thousand for each monster you control. in this case only one. so you get only a thousand!" the mirrors fire a beam into the girl and make her trip. "augh! i guess i didnt... win" jack jumped "yes! 1 more!"

Diana watched Jack's match. She was a little impressed. That was a very close duel, but Jack still managed to turn it around in the end. He didn't seem that bad. Diana felt a tap on the shoulder, and turned to see a boy facing her. He was short, and had a bandaid over the bridge of his nose.
"My name's Billy. I'm supposed to face you next." Billy said quietly. Diana noticed that he was wearing a shirt that read, "King of Games".
"Okay. I'm Diana. Let's do it!" Diana said, activating their duel disks.

"Now, XY- Dragon Cannon! Attack his Alligator's Sword Dragon!" Diana commanded. Her XY- Dragon Cannon, powered up by a Heavy Mech Support Platform, Gravity Blaster, and Metalmorph, attacked Billy's monster with a powerful laser blast. Billy sighed as his life points dropped to zero.
"That was a good duel!" Diana said. The boy just sighed sadly and walked away.

Meanwhile, over at the No Major Gym, Chance was facing one of the students that was playing the dice game with him earlier, a boy named Kyle.
"Barrel Dragon's effect, activate!" Chance said, pointing his hand as a finger gun at Kyle's monster, Dogoran the Mad Flame Kaiju. Kyle began to sweat in his Godzilla sweatshirt as Barrel Dragon's cylinders began to spin. "You know the game! If two stop on bullets, your Mad Flame Kaiju is kaput!"
The three cylinders stopped spinning with a click, and there was a silence. Kyle let out a sigh.
"Well, I guess-" Letting out a roar, Barrel Dragon fired two shots at Dogoran, and the Kaiju monster exploded into pixels.
"Yahtzee!" Chance exclaimed. "Now, attack him directly!"
The Barrel Dragon roared again, and fired another huge bullet, this time directly at Kyle. There was a large explosion, and Kyle's life points dropped to zero.

"Well, well, well. Not bad." Chance turned to see a student walking towards him. It was the other boy Chance had been playing dice with, Maxx. He activated his duel disk, leering at Chance. "But your deck's got nothing on my powerful monsters!"

(Chance utterly defeated Maxx in one of the quickest duels, as the student used a Dark Scorpion deck. Rip Maxx)

Wandering around was just kinda something that he liked to do. Well, there was that and the fact that he was asked to go find Professor E. The man had made his way to the Fusion gym for some odd reason, and Tyler was just trying to find him. The Xyz students found the sign labeled, "Fusion", and figured he was in the right spot. He walked in and took a look around. He looked around, his vision cutting by Diana's duel before landing on the Professor. "Prof-." he started to say before quickly shooting his eyes back towards Diana. He blinked a few times before shaking his head. He focused on the professor and approached him. "Professor E, uh the students were looking for you. Some of them have questions." he explained.

The Professor looked down at his student and nodded his head, "Ah, but I guess it can't be helped. I must go then. Well Miss, I must see you some other time then." he said with a smile before turning to exit the room. "Yeah okay byeeeeeee!!!" Professor Y shouted after the other man as he left the room.

Tyler approached Diana and smiled, "Hey there. I caught your last duel...well just the end of it really, but you look really strong. Hopefully, with your talent you'll get to stay here at the school for longer. Then maybe I can see you again or somethin." he said, laughing a bit. "Anyways, I uh...gotta go back to class now and all that so I'll see you around I guess." the teen said as he too exited the gym following his Professor.

As Diana watched a disappointed Billy walk away, Tyler's voice surprised her. She turned and listened to the boy speak, but before she could reply, he was already out the door.
"W-wait..." Diana said, trailing off. He hadn't even given her his name. Odd. Feeling a little tired from the three consecutive duels, Diana went back to her desk and began to watch the rest of the duels that were going on.

"Hey, you're really good." Kyle said. The boy adjusted his shaggy brown hair underneath his hoodie, then glanced over at Maxx. Maxx, The larger of the two boys, let out a snort.
"It was simply luck that you won!" Maxx said to Chance. The three of them were sitting in the back of the gym, each doing something. Chance was fiddling around with his actual playing cards. Kyle was adjusting his Kaiju deck. And Maxx was sulking.
"Oh, grow up." Kyle said. "The reason he won is because your most powerful monster is a level 5 1800 attacker."
"Do not diss the Dark Scorpions! Especially Gorg the Strong!" Maxx exclaimed. Chance glanced up, and noticed a small hole in the wall next to Maxx's head.

Then a boy, that is about shorter than him, actually he was short. was looking iritated about something. "Ha. I hated people calling me short. Its good that deafeated them. Now last one." The boy added "By the way. I am Fred Sullivan. Im your opponent. Prepare to lose!"
[An hour later]
"100 and 500 Lp huh."Jack has the 100 and Fred has 500. His Chimeratech rampage dragon is in his field only his attack points are lower because of ring of magnetism. his attack lowered by 500 so, 1600 attck points. "I use spark! This Spell attacks you directly. By 200!" The boy just shouted. "Now attack luster dragon!" The dragon bursts into pixels and it inflicted damage to fred. He fell down the stage. "3 IN A ROW WOOHOO! WE WON WE WON WE WON!"

As the duels began to conclude Professor Y seemed to be impressed with all of her students and their amazing displays of skill. "Alright everyone nice dueling! At this rate I won't be having to say goodbye to any of you anytime soon. However, there's always room for improvement. For example, this tournament you're about to enter." the woman started as all the students began to head back to their seats since the dueling was over.
"Now as you all know, this tournament is high school wide. Meaning that you'll be playing against kids from the other high schools' major classes as well. So basically what that sums up to is that you guys won't always be fighting against someone who specializes in Fusion summoning like you all do. In order to prepare you all for that we're going to be practicing with the Xyz boys....er...students. Yeah over in their gym. So basically like a field trip, but for training purposes!" she explained, very excitedly at that. She then smiled widely and clapped twice, "Alright children let's go!" she exclaimed. She was literally the first one out the door and on her way to the Xyz gym.

Professor E and his students all stood in their gym, ready to battle against the Fusion class as soon as they arrived. Professor Y burst through the doors ecstatic as ever. The Xyz professor blinked a few times, "Uh....where's the class miss?" he asked with a smile. Professor Y looked behind her and blinked a few times herself, "Oh uh...don't worry about them. They're just slow that's all." she said, facing back towards the man as she giggled a bit.

And so the Fusion kids would make their way down the hallway into the Xyz gym.

Tyler was currently out of the room getting a drink of water when a hand slammed against the wall next to him. Startled, the teen stood upright and faced the girl. She spoke in a semi-annoyed tone, "So Tyler....you making any progress? Getting any better at least? Or are you still the same spineless little brother that you were when you left home?" she pressed, question after question. Tyler sighed, "Look Danielle, I'll tell you the same thing that I told you when you lost the championship match to Riker, "I'm not spineless, and I'm also not you. If you expected me to do the same thing as dad just because my last name is Weaver then you're wrong. My monsters may be dark, but I'm definitely not. I actually like it here, and the people too. I have friends, and I have fun. Now please, I have class so would you just back off." he explained to her. He was turning back to join the crowd of Fusion students trying to get into the Xyz gym when he almost ran into Diana.

The teen stopped himself, "Oh..sorry. I wasn't paying attention." he said, gesturing towards the gym as to let her go by first.

Danielle Weaver watched with disgust as her brother even made contact and communicated with these students. "Ugh...if he's supposed to be part of this family then we've definitely got some road blocks to overcome." she said to herself as she turned to walk away.

Diana raised an eyebrow at Professor Y's antics. Was this woman really the professor to teach the Fusion Major? She was definitely quite strange. Sighing, Diana followed the Professor towards the XYZ gym. On her way there, she accidently bumped into another student. It was the boy from only a few minutes ago, the one that complemented her then ran off.
"No, it's fine. It was my mistake." Diana said. She walked into the XYZs gym but waited for Tyler. "Thanks for the compliment earlier. My name's Diana. What about you?"

"Hey, guys. Look at this." Chance said back in the No Major Gym. Looking through the hole in the wall, he saw that it showed the XYZ gym. The three students, Chance, Kyle, and Maxx, looked through. It seemed some of the other students were coming into the XYZ gym. Cross-major duels?
"What are you slacker doing?" Kyle jumped back from the peephole with a yelp, and Chance turned to see Jasmine, the girl he had tied with in his first duel, glaring at them. "That better not be the girl's bathroom..."
"Oh, come on! You think we would stoop that low?" Maxx said.

Tyler followed Diana and walked into the gym. "Oh yeah no problem. You deserved it." the teen said regarding the compliment. He then realized that he actually did run off without giving her a name. "Oh...right right right sorry about that I was just in a hurry earlier. My name's Tyler." he said with a smile. "Err...well obviously I'm part of the Xyz Major." he said, pointing at his black jacket. "But uh yeah...um...I guess yall are coming to our gym for some practice. Maybe I'll get to see you duel again." the student said, laughing a bit.

"Maybe!" Diana said, laughing lightly. She waved at Tyler as she went with the rest of the purple-jacket Fusion Majors. "I'll see you around, Tyler!"
Walking closer to Professor Y, Diana waited to see what the Professors had planned for the two majors.

"Come on, boys." Chance said, getting up. Jasmine quickly blocked his way.
"Just where do you think you're going?" Jasmine asked. Chance jerked a thumb to the XYZ gym. "No way! We're supposed to stay in our gym until the Professors say so."
"Hey, don't talk to Chance that way!" Maxx said.
"Oh, be quiet 'Dark Scorpions'" Jasmine said.

Jack is still smiling about his three in a row win streak. Unfortunately he tripped. He stood up again people staring at him muttering about what he did to Holden, throwing his deck and stuff. His smile deflated into a frown. Then he went inside the rest room, and locked the stall door. "sigh. i wish they would stop that." Then, someone opened the restroom door. "Who's there?" the person who went inside was laughing evilly. "Why are you laughing?" he just stood there "Answer me!" the man replied, "I've been looking for you."

While Maxx and Kyle distracted Jasmine, Chance managed to sneak out of the No Major class. He was still wearing his black leather jacket, not bothering to put on the lame brown one that they gave the rest of the no majors. Why would he wear the lame brown jacket when he could wear a cool black leather jacket? Chance began to make his way down the hall, towards the Xyz gym. He knew the Fusion students were in there, and still had yet to see if one of the students had the fusion monster he was looking for. Not only that, but his black leather jacket would allow Chance to blend in with the rest of the Xyz students.

But before Chance could make it to the gym, someone else began to make their way down the hall. Panicking slightly, Chance ducked into the bathroom, not yet noticing the mysterious man inside as well.

"Who are you?!" Jack panickly said. "Ill be your worst nightmare" The man slowly opened every stall door, finding jack. until he found the locked stall door. "Your in there aren't you?" The man broke the stall door and pulled the boy out and pinned him on the floor. He pulled something out, it was his phone and shown it to jack. "WATCH IT." suddenly jack can't move and started struggling and screaming out loud. the thought of seeing his parents die after a duel is driving him crazy. until he was out of his mind. the man stood up and walked slowly away from him and walked out the door. jack sat up not saying a thing. his iris was white as milk. he stood up and put his hood on. his face was blank. he has no expression what-so ever. he opened the door and went outside.

"What the..." Chance watched the whole thing go down with Jack and the mysterious man, frozen in a strange new feeling. Was this... Terror? He backed up against the wall of the bathroom and pressed himself against it, as if that would somehow protect him. But when the man walked out of the bathroom without noticing him, Chance let out a relieved breath. Who was that guy?

Chance swallowed, and wiped the sweat off his forehead. Whoever he was, he needed to be stopped. Gathering his courage, Chance ran out into the hallway after the mysterious man.
"Hey!" He called after the figure. "Stop right there!"

The man just kept walking not noticing chance. Then he just disappered into thin air. Notably he pressed something before disappearing. He teleported! then, jack is also just walking. He looks like he's walking into the fusion majors. He's going into the xyz gym with the fusion students. He giggled quietly. He was planning something.

The dueling process had been going on for only about 10 minutes or so. The Xyz students battling hard against the Fusion students, neither side willing to give an inch.

Tyler was taking a break in between one of his duels when he noticed another student walk in. He got up and walked over to the Fusion student with a smile. "Hey uh...what's up man? I noticed you're a bit late to the party. Do you wanna have a duel with me?" Tyler asked innocently, having no indication of Jack's recent change. He held up his duel disk with a smile as the machine shuffled his deck for him.

He really wasn't sure what Diana was doing at the moment, or whether he was in a duel or not. However, those things didn't matter. Despite it not being one of his scheduled duels, Tyler still offered one to the other student. A part of him was just trying to help the student, but another part of him was just wishing that Diana saw him

[Accept or Decline? What will Jack do?]
