You are minding your own business in your own world, and suddenly you're here. On an unknown island. How you got there, no one knows. You're just stuck. Things feel a bit unnatural on the island. Sometimes it feels like something is watching you, others you enter coughing fits when it becomes more humid. Food is hard to come by, at least food that you are sure is safe.

Ok, so you are allowed to play a character of your own world, an OC of a fandom, or a cannon character. You will be able to leave the island at a later time, just not right now.

    RULES
    • No Mary-sues
    • Please don't rapid fire posts, I, and many other people have school
    • At the same time, remain active
    • If I say your character is to OP, then it's to OP
    • Please don't trap people onto a interaction. That's just rude and it holds the RP up.
    • You can have as many chars as you want, however, you must be able to handle all of them
    • Please don't be unrealistic. If you eat toxic berries, you have a strong probability of getting sick.

Ok. I guess it's fine, but I need a bio for her, ok. And a detailed power description.

  10. Name: Garfield Logan (Beast Boy)
    Species: Meta human
    Gender: Male
    Age: 19
    Powers: Shape shifting
Beast Boy can completely or partially transform into any known animal on Earth, past and present. He's able to do this instantaneously and multiple times but transforming to much can tire him out. Hitting an object, being restrained or simply lacking the energy whilst transforming immediately stops the process and reverts him back to his human form. In his human form he has slightly heightened senses.

Backstory (Based off Teen Titans show): Garfield Logan was the son of two geneticists who would travel the world, heading from jungle to jungle to perform import research and study the wildlife. He lived with them as they went from continent to continent, gaining an interest in wildlife and all things natural. Whilst in Africa, an ten year old Garfield was attacked by a green monkey and he contracted a rare disease called Sakutia. His parents were desperate to save him and so hastily conjured a cure, one that left Garfield with green skin, hair and eyes as well as the ability to shapeshift.

Not long after his parents saved him did they perish, in a boating accident. His uncle gained custody of him but Garfield soon fled from his care, as the relative turned out to be heartless and cruel. For a year he lived alone, which was rather difficult for a twelve year until he eventually came into the care of the doom patrol, a group of heroes. Thus Garfield's carer as a superhero began. He stayed with the Doom patrol for a few years until rising tensions between him and the leader Mento caused him to leave. Once again Garfield was alone but this time not for long as he stumbled across the Teen Titan's.

The teen titans felt like a true home for Garfield. They were all rookies but they grew together to become great heroes and an even greater team. From fourteen till nineteen he was with them and whilst he was immature to begin with he eventually grew up whilst still maintaining his fun and energetic personality. At the time of this RP he's nineteen (Way past the shows run time) and quite a competent hero.

Appearance: Garfield Logan looks like a healthy, nineteen year old American boy ... who just happens to be green. He stands at 5'6 with a healthy well toned body that's not overly muscular. His almost round face as a soft complexion to it, contrasted by his pointy ears and slightly sharp eyebrows. His hair is a dark green and bordering on the medium edge of short.

Typically Garfield wears his superhero costume as it transforms into a collar when he himself transforms and because he finds it rather comfortable. It's a red and white short sleeved super suit with trousers that go all the way down. (Imagine a mix between both his young justice suits)
    Other: Garfield is a vegetarian.

RP Example: Garfield slowly and rather begrudgingly awoke to the sound of his phone alarm, which was blaring with a vengeance for the last three alerts that had been snoozed. He almost silenced the alarm again, reaching over to where he thought his phone was only to feel nothing but air. With a drowsy hum Garfield reached out further, slipping out of his bunk bed and falling towards the floor. Rather than a heavy thud there was a soft pat, a green cat having landed on it's feet instead of a teen landing on their face. Garfield let out groaning and annoyed meow. He was out of bed now, no point getting back in.

Garfield took a long and satisfying stretch, still in the form of a cat as he found it more pleasing to do so as a feline. He straightened his posture, yawning and transforming back into a human. First he turned off his phone's alarm, having had to dig through a pile of clothes on the floor to find it. Next he thought about what he should do "... Hmmm, food" The green teen started making his way towards the door, pausing for a moment and then looking down. "Wait ... clothes" His course changed to his wardrobe, where he sifted through all his clothes for his superhero suit. After donning the red and white suit his temporary quest for food could begin. Just as he was about to exit his room was covered in a red glow and an deep alarm even louder than his phone blared throughout the entire tower. Garfield's ears lowered as an annoyed expression, replaced his tired one. "Oh come ooonn" His voice was whiny but not angry. People were in danger so food could wait.

  13. Name: Elenor Kovich(Not by blood)
    Species: Remnant (Subtype Human)
    Gender: Female
    Age: 29
Powers: Extreme durability, super strength, personal gravity(one she can control), ageless, fairly good with a variety of weapons (Though few fit her size perfectly), immunity to poison and illness/disease (though she can throw up or feel sick through pure disgust or other emotions)
Backstory: She was rescued by Nobody from [data redacted], but seeing as Nobody is certainly not a parent figure by any stretch of the imagination, Nobody entrusted her with Eli Kovich, who was apprehensive at first, but did take her in, teaching her all he could, now she’s on some weird island.
Appearance: Elenor looks like a five or six year old, dark blond hair and blue eyes, she wearing jeans and red jacket (Fit to her size) wavy hair when she lets it go, down to her shoulders, but she often ties it up in a pigtail.
Other: She will arrive on the island with no weapons, and it might be hard to find one the right size for her.
    RP Example:
Elenor woke up, rolling out of bed and pulling her clothes on, she looked around her room, grabbing her watch and hair tie, doing her hair as she walked down the hall of the ship she called home. Walking into the dining room, she climbed up onto the chair to the table, she had once been asked if she wanted Eli to change everything out to make it easier on her, but she declined, not really wanting to go through all that trouble just because she was eternally six. Eli had already made breakfast, and by that, it really meant he had poured cereal. They are in silence for a while before Elenor spoke “So, what’s going on today?” Eli shrugged “Nothing over the scanner, so I thought we could just hang out today.” She nodded happily. “Can you get me some water Dad?” Eli nodded as he stood up and walked in the kitchen. Elenor sighed, before jerking back as her whole world went white.

She seems a bit OP. Give me a significant weakness and I'll reconsider. (No weapon isn't a weakness)

  15. ThePlayfulFox

    ThePlayfulFox Previously PlayfulFox47

Like she needs a lot of rest due to her eternal age, trouble communicating to those she doesn't know, needs a lot of food due to her powers, frightened of a lot of things.

If I think she's going to go through the island with little trouble, then there's a problem. (The immunity+extreme durability is what I'm worried about...)

  16. She is not immune to acid, not saying you were suggesting otherwise, but thought I’d throw that out there

I like the tired thing, and for being scared, it’s like a switch, going from completely confident to screaming and running to hide behind someone, the latter was something I was going to do, but forgot to say it.

    Still, she seems pretty OP...

Just because she is not immune to acid, she is still immune to poison. Poison is a broad category, Eli. This island is supposed to be difficult, not a breeze.

  18. What do you think I mean by poison?

  19. ThePlayfulFox

    ThePlayfulFox Previously PlayfulFox47

Not sure. Like I said, it's broad. Trim it down. I don't want to accept a character because I don't know what powers they have exactly.

  20. I think I’ll probably join, assuming I can think up a character.

    Also, poisons:

Thank you Renz for proving my point.

  22. Most thing ingested orally or injected will not have an effect on her, there is a way to make a poison strong enough to significantly harm her now that I think of it, normally the remnant poison is just insanely strong, but I think here we could say it’s good against remnants specifically

  23. ThePlayfulFox

    ThePlayfulFox Previously PlayfulFox47

Um, I barely understood that, Eli.

  24. Most thing ingested orally or injected will not have an effect on her, that’s what I meant.

There is a way to make a poison strong enough to significantly harm her now that I think of it though. I’m canon the remnancy poison is just insanely strong, but I think here we could say it’s good against remnants specifically, as in, it works well on her, and either just as well on others, or worse on them.

Then can I use that poison so then she isn't OP? Not everything will have it, just so then we have some balance.

  28. Here’s my bio:

    Name: Capt. James Hook
    Species: Human
    Gender: Male
Age: ??? (Who knows how long he’s been in Neverland?)
Powers: No actual superhuman powers, but he has some skill in combat. He is an expert swordsman and a pretty good shot with his pistol. He’s also surprisingly smart.
Backstory: James began has pirating career as a cabin boy. Through the years he rose through the ranks until one day, he led a mutiny and became captain.
A little more than a year later, James had his first encounter with Peter Pan. The boy’s impertinence irritated the pirate captain. This first meeting was the beginning of a long-standing feud.
Over time, Hook began to hate Peter more and more. The boy humiliated him in front of the crew, pranked him, and foiled his plans again and again. Eventually, Hook even lost his hand during one of their fights, and the boy fed it to a crocodile. Every time Hook saw the boy, his hatred grew. He swore not to leave the island until Peter and his band of boys had all been destroyed. This was all well and good until Hook’s crew began to grow discontent. Several of their plots to track down and trap the boys had failed, and Hook began to worry that there might be a mutiny.
And so he set off on his own to do it himself. Taking a rowing boat he headed for the shore. But he didn’t reach it.
Appearance: Hook is Caucasian, with black hair and eyes. He has a tall and thin build, but despite his rather lean appearance he has quite a bit of muscle. His face is adorned with a large nose and a thin black moustache. He wears a white undershirt, a wine colored dress jacket and dark colored breeches. Atop his head is a large hat, the same color as his jacket and adorned with a large white feather. On one hand he has a white glove, but the other was cut off by Peter Pan and subsequently replaced with a steel hook. He has large black boots and white stockings, and is equipped with a belt which holds his pistol and cutlass.
    Other: DERP
    RP Example:

Aboard the Jolly Roger, scarcely a sound could be heard besides the creaking of ropes and timbers, the lapping of waves and the snoring of the crew down below in their hammocks. The bright full moon shone down upon the deck, and its surface was a contrast of pale moonlight and shadows from the mast and barrels. And one of these shadows moved. From the darkness stepped the captain of the boat, the dreaded pirate Hook. In the gloomy atmosphere of the abandoned ship, he was certainly a frightening spectacle to any outsider who might have seen him. The long nose and moustache, the leering eyes, the glistening hook that replaced one hand. Even his posture seemed threatening. For he was on the hunt.
With only a slight effort at stealth, he strode across the deck to one of the longboats. It was hoisted out of the water, but the captain quickly grabbed the ropes and lowered it into the water of the bay. Soon he was sitting in the boat, back to the shore and face out to see as he rowed to the beach.

Hook grimaced as the blade of his oar missed the water and he was thrown off balance. He cursed himself for being so out of practice, and kept on. He knew he needed to get to land, and to take care of Pan once and for all.

  29. Ok, we came up with this:
Getting tired easily on account of her physical age
Having an extreme trouble creating her own blood
Due to her agelessness, she will sometimes become irrationally scared and simply seek comfort/someone else to solve the problem rather than doing something herself.
And using semantics about my Ultraverse to work around her poison immunity.

After all of these, I've decided to let her pass through the gate of my OP calls, however, I'm keeping a very close eye on her.

  31. Shadow_Pup

    Shadow_Pup Previously LeBarrel42

    Name: Daisy "Angel" Reaper
    Species: Mutant
    Gender: Female
    Age: 19
Powers: Angel possesses the superhuman ability to fly by means of her natural wings, which spanned sixteen feet from wingtip to wingtip. Fully feathered like a bird's, the wings have a very flexible skeletal structure, enabling her to press them to the back of her torso and legs with only the slightest bulge visible under her clothing. Angel flies by flapping her wings, as a bird does. The strength in her wings can easily break a man's arm or leg, or even put someone through a wall. Angel's normal cruising speed averages around 70 mph, though she is capable of diving swoops that reach up to 180 mph. She can fly at 150 mph without the help of a tail wind for up to half an hour at a time before tiring to an appreciable degree. Though she generally flies beneath the height of the clouds, she can reach a height of 10,000 feet with little effort. With severe strain she can attain the highest recorded altitude of a bird in flight (African geese at 29,000 feet above sea level), but can only remain at that altitude for several minutes. Angel's entire anatomy is naturally adapted to flying. Her bones are hollow, her body processes food more efficiently than a normal human body and does not store any excess fat, and she possesses a greater proportionate muscle mass than normal. As a result, her strength, speed, agility, flexibility, endurance, reflexes, coordination, balance, eyesight and hearing are at their peak. Elements of her anatomy are comparable to those of birds, especially birds of prey. Her eyes can withstand high-speed winds which would damage the average human eye. She can breathe at high velocities or altitudes, and she can cope with the reduced temperatures at high altitudes for prolonged periods of time, giving her a greater-than-normal capacity to endure low temperatures in areas such as the Arctic. She shares some quality with birds including the sense of direction while her eyesight is on par with the one of an eagle, allowing her to spot movement and details even from higher distances than the average human could even in the dark. She possesses greater physical strength than an ordinary human equal to her in body weight and can lift about 500 lbs. Her musculature produces less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of an ordinary human. She can physically exert herself at peak capacity for several hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in her blood begins to impair her. Her physical stamina while in flight is considerably greater. She can fly non-stop under her own power for a maximum of approximately twelve hours. The tissues of Angel's body are somewhat harder and more durable than that of an ordinary human, though she is far from invulnerable. While she can be injured in ways comparable to an ordinary human, her body is structured to withstand the friction caused by flying at high speeds. She can also withstand impact forces that would severely injure or kill an ordinary human with only mild to moderate discomfort.
Backstory: Daisy was discriminated on her entire life both due to her physical mutation and the fact that she was a homosexual, her parents sent her to Xavier's School for the gifted to protect her from the violent racists of her town. She had been a shy girl in her town due to no-one else being like her but at Xavier's School she lit up and became very chatty and bubbly. She practically begged the professor to train her and make her an X-man, when he finally agreed she was 16 and raring to go. She became an asset to the team and became a much loved member in the public's eye.
Appearance: 5’6”, with pink hair and green eyes, she has a skinny but mature body type and freckles. She wears her hair down so that it reaches it full length at just below her lower back. She wears a white t-shirt under a denim jacket, black skinny jeans and black boots. She also has a cross earring in her right ear. Her wings come through holes in her shirt. She then puts her jacket over them and her trousers also cover them as well. Her x-men suit is similar in style to cyclops (in the end credits scene of X-Men Apocalypse) but it is black and red instead of yellow and is made for a girl not a guy.
    Other: N/A
    RP Example:
Daisy awoke in her bed in the X-Mansion, she stretched out her wings and arms and yawned. She made her way to Physical Education, which she was a teaching assistant at working under Collosus. She arrived and spotted the massive metal mountain of a man hunched over a bag. She strolled over "hey Piotr, what kind of activity do we have today then" she said, with her perky and pleasant attitude just like always. Collosus turned to looked at the girl, "oh hello Miss Reaper, today we will be playing a semi-traditional game of dodgeball in that the students will not use their abilities in the first game and will use their abilities in the second game. This will create fairness" he said with a warm smile as he turned back to normal from his steel mode in preparation for the students arrival. Daisy smiled and stood next to him clearly dwarfed by his size, her wings twitches ever so slightly in anticipation and excitement.

@Shadow_Pup are blunt weapons effective? And I'm hesitant about flight as that means you might leave the island.

    @RenzFlintrock accepted.

  33. Shadow_Pup

    Shadow_Pup Previously LeBarrel42

Yes blunt weapons are effective but just slightly less effective than they would be on the average human, basically you have to hit her really hard.

And I was planning on having her have some kind of damage to one of her wings (so she can use the other for fighting) until the time they are allowed to leave the island.
