OOC: Hera was not affected by super effective damage. It was equal. Fighting makes up for Bug's weakness to rocks. And yes, it still took some damage.

Wanoko was hit with a Thunderbolt.

"Wanoko use Focus Blast!" Wanoko launched a brown ball of energy at Stantler. Having used up the rest of his energy, Wanoko fainted.

"Return, Wanoko. Great battle! Go Houndoom!" Houndoom appeared, but was slightly injured by Stealth Rock.

"Houndoom, use Heat Wave!" The Dark Pokemon opened its jaws and superheated air came from it. The heat was so intense, the rain evaporated. The Heat Wave hit Stantler. The wave barely hit Hera, causing it to awaken.

"Hera, use Focus Punch! Houndoom, now use Thunder Fang on Stantler!" Houndoom leaped up into the air and bit down on Stantler with its crackling fangs. Stantler flinched. This allowed Hera to get in and get a direct hit with Focus Punch without faltering.

Feraligatr manage to get a final move in but it was stopped by another thunderbolt from stanlter.then Houndoom came in and took some more super effective damage from stealth rocks and used heat wave. "Krill stand in front of stantler and use protect!" Krill saved stantler but due to overuse of protect not all of the blow was supressed and the swampert was KOd.

Stantler was then ganged up on which Liam thought was an extremely low blow on Kais behalf but thats the way it is sometimes. Stantler was hit by the duos moves but then a beam of light from above shone down on stantler and healed his wounds."Thank god for Joy," said Liam.

"Go zangoose!". As rhe cat ferret pokemin emerged from the light Liam said "Ok zangoose use water pulse then follow it up with close combat!". The two attacks hit houndoom directly and both being super effective left the demon dog lying in a heap on the ground. "You houndoom may have defeated my swampert but being weakened twice by stealth rock and now with two super effective hits thats about all it will do, now stantler paralyze that heracross with thunderwave then use a stomp!".

The two attacks hit Houndoom leaving him on the ground.

"Houndoom! Use Reversal on Stantler!" Houndoom got up and leaped into the air and hit Stantler. Due to being so weak, Reversal was extremely powerful in addition to being super effective. Houndoom managed to sacrifice itself for Heracross as the Thunder Wave hit it instead after Houndoom had dealt damage to Stantler. Houndoom was standing with barely any energy. Stantler still ran over and used Stomp on Heracross.

"This can't continue for you, Houndoom. You're too hurt. Return. Heracross, avenge Houndoom with Revenge!" Because of the Stomp, Revenge was twice as powerful against Stantler.

OOC: that thing about being low was a joke lol . And it looks like you just pwned my stantler.

Bic: With stantler and houndoom both gone it was one one one. "Ok zangoose they are hurt but you are fresh, use swords dance then fire punch!" zangoose did a dance and then its hand was engulfed in flames. Now with a huge attack stat and its natural speed herracross could not get away. The fire punch hit with super effective damage. "now use taunt and endure!" herracross was forced to deal damage to zangoose but thanks to endure he managed to stay alive. "Now that your attack is high and you health is low we can finish it off with that move we've been practicing zangoose, use....... ENDEAVOR!!!! Zangoose hit heracross with emense power by combining extremely high attack and its now low health zangoose did some serious damage to herracrosses already low health. The fighting beatle went flying through air and landed at Kai's feet."Now that is a combo Kai." said Liam in a triumphant voice.

Alex reacted," Polly, Aqua Cyclone formation!" Polly opened her bladed flippers and took off with Aqua Jet zooming in circles around Terry. The maneuver making a wall of water that slammed into the oncoming Aerodactyl and stoppped the incoming fire attack. This gave Terry enough time to recover from Frenzy plant.
"Terry Giga drain on Aerodactyl,Polly Aqua jet on that vulpix!" The thre spikes on terry's side glowed bright green and extended wrapping around the Aerodactyl as Polly slammed into vulpix.

"Soar! Use Protect before you crash, Scamp, use Energy Ball and intercept that Aqua Jet!" Jake called to his Pokemon as the opponents made their attacks.

Soar immediately called up a green shield around herself seconds before she came crashing into, and due to momentum, through the cyclone and popping out of the other side. Scamp quickly charged a green, bubble-like ball of energy and launched it with extreme force at the incoming Empoleon, causing an explosion that force both Pokemon back to their starting positions.

"Now, Attract, both of you!" Jake called out quickly.

Scamp and Soar lined up, the created a small storm of yellow hearts and launched them at Torterra and Empoleon respectively, infatuating them.

"Ugh! Return both of you!" Alex called back both of his pokemon into their pokeballs.
" Looks like this battle comes down to you two,Gabriel, Lucy BLaze On!"
Alex threw out two pokeballs reavealing Gabe and his Shiny Lucario Lucy. As gabe took to the air Lucy jumped on his back. As the two took off Gabe's wings whipped up a miny sandstorm as a strange, ghoslty melody hit the air." Gabe fly as high as you can then use flame thrower on Aerodactyl, and Lucy use Aura sphere!"
The two attacks linked together as they zomed towards Aerodactyl while the two pokemon flew higher and higher.

A burning ball flew across the stage, and Vybuch jumped right infront of it to take the damage. As it hit, vybuch fell to the ground, then got back up. A little trickle of blood started to appear from her mouth.

"Both of you, use Earth Quake!" The ground started to shatter as Zdani and Vybuch both smashed the stage. Then, cracks started to appear all across the field as their combined Earth Quakes vibrated loudly beneath their feet. This vibration raced towards the Lucario on the other side, but the same couldn't be said the trainer's Flygon. Little pebbles started to jut from the floor, then chunks, then boulders. Soon the battle area was covered with dust and ash. Vybuch let out a loud roar as she and zdani stopped pounding the floor beneath.

Zangoose used Taunt. Zangoose began mocking Hera.

"If we can't use any effect moves, use Brick Break!" Kai exclaimed. Hera flew toward Zangoose and began hitting it with Brick Break repeatedly.

The Zangoose was then commanded to use Endeavor. After taking heavy damage, Kai decided this was the only choice.

"Close Combat into Megahorn, Hera!" Hera was propelled towards Zangoose and began hitting it repeatedly with its arms and horn.

"Fly," Tony called.

Jake jumped onto Blitz's back, who then took off, before either of them could be too badly damaged.

"Bombard," Tony called.

From his perch on Blitz's back, Jake fired a combination of Focus Blast and Aura Sphere at his two enemies, aided by Blitz's Flamethrower. Of course, after a moment, they had to come back down, Blitz attempted to smash Zdani with his Fly attack, while Jake jumped off and tried to smack Vybuch with a Force Palm.

Soar was hit hard thanks to the severe damage, however, she ate her Sitrus Berry, causing her to recover a decent amount of health. "Soar, use Dragon Wing on the both of them, Scamp, return!" Jake ordered the Fossil Pokemon as he recalled Scamp. "Now, let's go Spikes!" Jake shouted as he tossed a great ball out into the field and a vague shadow appeared in the sandstorm, which disappeared just as soon as it had appeared. "Use Magic Bomb on them as well!" Jake called to Spikes.

Soar charged a Steel Wing, before creating a Dragon Claw along the "fingers" of his wings and slashed both Pokemon across the torso. Meanwhile, Spikes launched a Magical Leaf, followed by Seed bomb to create spiraling explosives which homed in and exploded on their target before moving away from her location so she could not be tracked down.

"Vybuch use protect then finish your endure, Zdani, use Solar beam and Ingrain "

Vybuch ran infront of Zdani and protected him in a bright green shield as he started to absorb the sun's rays. Both attacks hit her shield and pushed them back a feet or two. After the shield disintegrated, Vybuch released the attack she took from before and aimed it at Blitz.

"Two can play at that game, Protect!" Tony called.

Not specifying which Pokemon should use the attack, both of them did. The barriers were shattered, but the attack was stopped.

"Blitz, lets turn the weather in our favor, Sandstorm," Tony grinned.

He pulled a pair of go-goggles out of his pocket and put them on, stopping the dust, sand, and ash that was now being swirled around the stage, from getting into his eyes.

"Jake, Flash Step, Blitz, fall back," Tony called to the shadows of his Pokemon.

Flash Step was one of two move combination's that Tony had created with the Lucario. It combined Agility with Double Team, to confuse the enemy. In a sandstorm, it also helped hide Blitz from the enemy. The only Pokemon that could see through the sandstorm were Jake, Blitz, and the Cradily, and the Cradily was trapped by its Ingrain.

"Blitz, burn the plant, Flamethrower, Jake, Focus Punch," Tony called.

Blitz fired his Flamethrower through the whirling sand, while Jake appeared before the blinded Exploud and threw one of his more powerful physical attacks at the Pokemon.

Nolan could barely see anything except the bright light shining from Zdani's bulb. He was then suddenly hit by Blitz' flamethrower. luckily, Zdani was also a rock type, so his attack did not do the kind of damage it would have done to a normal plant type.

"Zdani, counter that with your Solar beam" Zdani aimed for the parted area of parted dust and sand with a very powerful beam of light, shot the unsuspecting Flygon. Plus the Ingrain restored most of his health. Vybuch on the other hand was not so lucky, so Nolan blindly gave him a command to use HyperVoice. it was either going to be Jake or Vybuch who was going to get hurt, or that they were both going to get hurt.

"Aw crap man, why couldn't I have bought goggles!" Nolan struggled to keep his eyes open.

 

[Rex]

The Cradily fired a retaliatory Solar Beam at a parted area in the Sandstorm. Tony didn't know where it was going, but it wasn't going toward his Pokemon. Could the Cradily not see in the Sandstorm, or was the trainer at fault. But, with most of the sunlight obscured, the Cradily wouldn't be using that attack again for some time. The Exploud attacked with Hyper Voice, cutting down several of Jake's copies.

"Jake, Finish," Tony called.

The Lucario dashed forward and attacked the Exploud with Sky Uppercut. Not waiting to see if the attack connected of not, he launched into the next part. He jumped into the air, and came flying down with his Hi Jump Kick.

"Blitz, Rock Smash."

The Flygon pulled a rock out of the ground, and attempted to smash it on the Cradily's head.

Gabe took a hard hit from the Aerodactyl, but he was able to regain a good bit of it from his sitrus berry, but when the Aerodactyl had hit Lucy she had grabbed onto it's wing. "Lucy CLose Combat then dismount with Aura sphere!Gabe block the Cacturne with flamethrower then Sandstorm!"
Lucy danced across the Aerodactyl's back dealing powerful kicks and punches and after a final flip towards it's tail unleashed an Aura sphere into it's back and onto Gabe as he sear the Magical leaf seed bomb combo and Flapped his wings at a tremendous speed whipping up a sandstorm. A buzzing song began to fill the air.

Nolan was starting to get worried when he heard a loud thud to the right. Apparently, Jake's uppercut had landed, but fortunately his Hi jump kick did not. Vybuch had no idea what was going on, and at the moment, Nolan thought it would be best for her to keep using Hypervoice

"Vybuch, are you okay?!" Vybuch gave a loud whistle and was still able to fight. "Then use Hypervoice again"

Zdani on the other hand was about to be smashed in the head with a giant boulder. Regardless of the fact that he himself was made of stone, him and Nolan were concerned because both of them were aware of what Blitz was planning to do. Due to the last attack, Zdani was free to roam without the restraint of his Ingrain.

"Zdani, if you can still move, use parasite!" Parasite was a combination of Double team and Giga Drain. Zdani would circle around his opponent and drain HP in the process. The effectiveness of this would vary considering the fact that there was still ash, dust, and sand cluttered in the air. Accuracy was no conern, what was though was if the surrounding particles would interfere with his attack. Fortunately, Zdani might be able to clear up the air.

"Damn it, I can barely breath!" Nolan was starting to feel a bit dizzy.

"Thank you sooooo much," Jake called as a sandstorm suddenly caused his Cacturne to completely disappear. Jake recalled Soar, then tossed another Pokeball, causing Scamp to reappear on the field. "Overheat on the Lucario, Scamp, Spikes, use Grasswhistle on Lucario, then Toxic on Flygon!" Jake commanded.

The walking cactus reacted first, creating a glowing leaf on which she blew a soothing melody toward the Lucario, before launching a massive glob of poison from her mouth, covering the face of the Flygon. The little fox Pokemon wasn't far behind, launching a mighty blast of pure, concentrated heat at the sleeping Fighting/Steel combination.

(Cradily, being part rock type, is not affected by Sandstorm. Rock Smash is a Fighting Type attack, it's super effective against Cradily.)

"Its done it, Blitz, Sand Tomb," Tony called triumphantly.

The Sandstorm surrounding the Flygon became much more fierce. The attack attempts to trap its opponent inside a vortex of wind, since the Cradily's Ingrain had finally ended, it would be best to return it to its move-less state. The Flygon easily flew up, and out of the calmer eye of the vortex, but not without getting a little of his energy sapped by the Cradily. The Exploud had not been taken down by Jake's Finish, and instead, countered with another Hyper Voice.

"Endure it, Jake, and when it's finished, sock it in its over-sized jaw with Strength," Tony sighed.

OoC: Since I'm battling a non-playing character (or whatever) this is basically going to be one post.

BiC: Luke looked around after speaking to the trainer and saw the person he was battling arrive. "Hey, I'm the guy who's battling you!" he shouted to the bug catcher.
"Hmph. I thought you'd look more challenging. I guess this'll be easier than I thought." the bug catcher said.
The smile disappeared off Luke's face at this. "Fine then, be that way." He muttered.

OoC: sorry for the late reply but i am also back at school and yeah....

BiC: Amazingly the heracross managed to get up from zangooses last attack. Then before zangoose could react it was commanded to use close combat. Hera started to repeatedly hit zangoose with punches causing a super effective damage.

"You have battled well Kai but I am afraid this battle is over!" Liam said "Now zangoose use counter!". Just as Hera was about to hit zangoose with another punch the cat ferret pokemon blocked the attempted hit and hit the bug pokemon with a red raflective force. Hera was hit with tremendous power, counter hits an ipponent with double the force of its own move which in this case was a powerful super effective attack. The heracross flew across the spring and landed in a pile of shattered ice.

"Well done Zangoose, you did great!" Liam said congratulating his pokemon on its terrific performance.

 

[Black Wolf]

Cerebus looked as the kid that fell out of the tree was just about to battle a bug catcher.
"Hmm, might aswell stay and watch." Cerebus said to himself, but just when he finished saying that a kid tapped on his shoulder, he looked a bit as what people call them, nerdy.
"Yes, what is it?" Cerebus asked the kid.
"Uum, I think I have to battle you, is that possible?" The boy replied.
"Might just be, you ready?" Cerebus said in reply.
"Uum, sure, go Zubat and Tangela."
"Okay, Weavile, Blaziken, at the ready."

The four Pokemon stood on the field, Weavile and Blaziken viceously looking at the other two Pokemon on the field.

"Okay, Blaziken use quick attack on Tangela, then switch over to Flare Blitz. Weavile use sword dance, then use Ice Shard."
Blaziken emidatly rushed over at the Tangela, couted in a white light, then, just before the fighting type would hit, the coat changed into fire, smashing the Tangela into a tree.
Meanwhile, Weavile's claws glowed purple and looked like some sort of swords, Weavile then did some sort of dance, before creating a small orb and then launched it at the Zubat.
"Zubat, use wing attack, Tangela, absorb." The wings of the Zubat started to glow white and he could dodge the ice shard just in time, only to land on the fist of Weavile. The Tangela had less 'luck' however, before it had the chance to retaliate, it good a blaze kick in were people presuume it would hurt, the Tangela literaly flew across the field.
"Arg, Tangela, return. Zubat, bite."
While the Zubat was stuck on Weavile's fist he bit in Weavile's hand, but then his fist glow white and punched the zubat trough the air.
"Wha, Wha??" The kid was only able to bring those words over his lips.
"Its called revenge, it power doubles when it is used after an opponents attack."
Just when Cerebus finished his battle, tree kid had beaten a bug catcher. Cerebus ran after him to catch up.
"Hey, pretty nice match you had back there, would it bother you if we had our battle later on?" Cerebus asked him.

Alex heard the other trainer command a grasswhistlle he yelled,"Gabe,Guardian Angel!" he had no idea wether his desparation play would work as Gabe flapped his wings faster and faster whipping up a sandstorm within a sandstorm.A strange buzzing song began to fill the air as the grasswhistle's song began and gabe got hit in the face with a Toxic attack.

Lucy was knocked off Gabe's back seemingly asleep as an Overheat attack came flying at her," Lucy use Aura sphere on Cacturne then Extreme combat around Overheat!!" Lucy flipped around firing an Aura sphere following it to the Cacturne with Extreme speed,dodging the fire attack, then unleashing Close combat knocking it into the air.
"Gabe Arial Ace and pickup Lucy!" Gabe dove and slammed into the Cacturne and grabbed Lucy back onto his back.
"Wondering why Lucy isn't asleep? When Flygon flap their wings at high speeds they create a kind of supersonic melody that blocks sound. I kept my pokemon together to prevent that grasswhistle."

OOC: The ice was melted by Houdoom's Flamethrower. Lol. Looks like I was kicked out of the RP somewhat. The field had a lot to do with our battle. The others would not have survived.

Hera launched punches and jabs furiously. Suddenly, Zangoose used Counter. In a huge flash of red light, Hera was propelled into the water.

"Great job, Hera. You did all you could," said Kai as Hera was returned to his Poke Ball. Kai walked to Liam.


"Great job, Liam." Kai stated as he held out his hand.

OOC:God I feel like an idiot again, hadn't realised you were using Rock Smash...well Zdani used giga drain so I guess it's cool btw When you tell Jake to endure it, is he actually using the move endure? Or is he just taking the hit?

BIC: Nolan saw a large silloughette high up in the sky. Zdani had stopped using giga Drain to look up at Blitz, who was now seven feet in the air.

"Zdani, aim for the sky and use Energy Ball"

He carefully positioned his arms together and shot a large ball at Blitz. Vybuch was in circumstance which was very hard to manuver out of. she could barely see, hear, let alone breath at all. Sucking in the air around her was doing her no help. The only luck she appeared to have at the moment was the fact that Nolan heard the other trainer's command.

"Vybuch, use rock climb!" Vybuch finished up her Hypervoice and reached for Jake's head, and jumped off of a near by boulder. She took his head and landed it on the ground below, but not without taking his attack.

OoC: The move Endure

BiC: It appeared that the Cradily was trapped in the Sand Tomb. It shot a Energy Ball at Blitz, clipping the Flygon's wing. He plummeted toward the ground, just barely stopping himself from smashing into the Ash Field. Jake was faring no better, having just had his head smashed into a boulder. But he did succeed in punching the Exploud in its mouth. The Lucario staggered to his feet, wiping blood off his muzzle.

"You alright?" Tony called.
"Just a headache," the Lucario responded telepathically.
"Alright," Tony nodded, "Finish Plus Bomb, then. Blitz, Breaker."

The Lucario nodded, before launching his attack. It was much like Finish, Sky Uppercut, plus Hi Jump Kick. But after the Hi Jump Kick was finished, Jake jumped back into the air, and fired off another Aura Sphere, creating a small explosion. The Lucario backed up a bit, unable to see if the Exploud survived through the smoke.

Blitz, meanwhile, started his own combination move. It started with Rock Tomb, attempting to trap the Pokemon in place. Problem was, it destroyed the Sand Tomb, so if it missed, the Cradily was free to move again. After a sizable amount of boulders had packed up, the Flygon flew forward and smashed them to bits with Rock Smash, damaging any Pokemon trapped inside. After the attack was finished, the Flygon flew back into the air, just in case the Cradily was going to try another attack like Giga Drain.

"You asked for it!" Jake called out " Scamp, knock Lucario away with Quick Flare, Spikes, Drain Punch that Aura Sphere, then Sunny Day, into Solarbeam, then Magic Bomb, Scamp, finish Lucario with Fire Blast!"

Both Pokemon were irate now, Spikes smashed through the incoming attack, stealing some of its kinetic energy until it was easily destroyed, then launched a Sunny Day followed smoothly by a mighty Solarbeam directly into the torso of Flygon, followed by a second Magic Bomb.

At the same instant, Scamp surrounded himself in flames while launching himself at incredible speed, knocking Lucario of course and blasting a close range Fire Blast directly into her face.

OOC: Oh, I'll have to do something about that later then :-\

BIC: Zdani became aware of the attack Blitz was using, and so without Nolan's command, he used Stone Edge. A wall of thick stone appeared in front of Zdani, which blocked the onslaught of rocks, pebbles, and other large pieces of debris that had flown towards him. Nolan had no idea what was going on, and became very confused.

"Zdani, what's going on?" Zdani clicked a couple of times then moved to where Nolan could see him. He could see Blitz was back in the air.

"Zdani, use Chocolate rain!" Zdani rolled his eyes and did what he was told to do. "Chocolate Rain" (Tay Zonday reference, I couldn't help it xD) is much like Parasite, but instead of using Giga Drain, Zdani used Bullet Seed. A large pillar of bullets started to appear from the ground, then shoot towards the sky in a ring. There was the question of whethere or not it would trap Blitz in the ring of bullets, or fall back down to the ground.

"Bomb, what the hell is bomb?!?" Vybuch had survived the attack, but was still heavily damaged. She had less than 5% percent of HP to fight on with.

"Use Implosion!" Implosion was a combination of Hyper Beam and Screech. Screech would hit the opponent lowering it's defense, then if Hyper beam hit, double the damage would be induced. It was highly inaccurate and in these circumstances, if Vybuch missed, she was done for.

Tony frowned, "The problem with seeds is, they burn. Blitz, Flamethrower."

The Flygon let loose a jet of flames from its mouth, destroying a section of the rising pillar and continuing on towards the Cradily. The Exploud Screeched, startling Jake for a moment then started another attack.

"Jake, Me First," Tony grinned.

The Lucario nodded. In an instant, his aura flared, and he launched the attack the Exploud had been planning to go with its Screech. The attack was Hyper Beam. It was one of the most Powerful attacks known, and Me First had a tendency of doubling power. The Hyper Beam was fired at the Exploud, Tony hoped, for Jake's sake, that it hit. If not, the Lucario was open to counterattack.

Lucy took the hit head on but returned from the brink using her sitrus berry. Gabe was able to block the magic bomb with fireblast but the solarbeam punched throgh. Gabe landed hard but barely stood up. "Alex...I'm almost gone. I'm going to use my finisher."
Lucy gave a nod signaling she was going to go for broke too.
"Gabriel,Maximum Dragonia! Lucy Aura pulse!"
Lucy focused her aura as if to use Aura sphere, but then released it like a Dark pulse. She aimed that at the vulpix.
Gabe flew straight up and then roared at the sky calling down a group of meteors from the sky, Draco meteor, Then he dived down firing a fire blast at Cacturne then diving down in Dragon rush straght at it.

"Damn it! Protect, the both of you" Jake called out to his Pokemon.

Both creatures brought up green shields, and while Spikes' held strong, Scamp was not so lucky, barely surviving the attack, and with only an Oran Berry, he wasn't up to much else. Seeing an opening after two attacks, Jake called out, "Spikes, Magical Leaf, Scamp use Flamethrower!"

The cactus raised her arms, launching powerful, homing leaves at Flygon, the little fox Pokemon managed to launch one last, awe inspiring, blast of flame, covering the Aura Pokemon before his body gave out and he fell to the floor.

Jake recalled the little creature, and launched a Premier Ball, releasing his prized Arbok onto the field of battle.

As the flames cleared, Lucy was standing behind a green shield,Protect," You're not the only one with defensive moves!"
Gabe took the magical leaf and went down hard and Lucy was holding her left arm which was burned. Alex began laughing ,"You're really gonna wish you knocked out Lucy earlier."
Alex called back Gabe and threw out Polly. Polly took one look at Lucy and Alex's head nearly split open when she screamed," What did you do to my sister!!"
"You see, being the only two steel pokemon in my household they bonded like sisters and Polly can be a little defensive. Polly Honor Guard and Lucy dig!"
Polly used Protect and blasted it with Ice beam attaching an ice shield to her arm and using her Metal Claw like a sword. Lucy then dove through the sand lying in wait to attack.

"Slithers, find that Lucario, then use Fire Fang, Spikes, Sucker Punch, then Solarbeam" Jake commanded before any damage could be done.

Mere seconds before the Emperor Pokemon could land her attack, Spikes disappeared, only to reappear and punch the Water type powerfully in the beak, knocking her back before launching another Solarbeam enhanced by the bright sun, which crashed into the Empoleon with extreme prejudice. Meanwhile, Slithers quickly dug underground, using his ability to sense vibrations as a snake to find the waiting Aura Pokemon before digging further and charging up and forcing the helpless, jackal-like Pokemon with flaming fangs.

While he was walking to the pokémon center, Luke heard some one say to him, "Hey, pretty nice match you had back there, would it bother you if we had our battle later on?" Luke looked around and saw the trainer he was talking to before.
"Huh? Oh, Sure. But first I need to go to the pokémon centre, Tom and Tim had quite a long battle. "I'm Luke and my Ninetales here is called Lillith." he said, motioning to the fox pokémon beside him, "What was your name again?"

Bic: The battle was over, Hera was defeated. Kai returned his pokemon and started to walk towards Liam. "zangoose return!" he said to his exhausted looking pokemon.

"well done Liam" said kai. "You did well too Kai, you are a great trainer" replied Liam as they shook each others hands. "I mighy see you back in Johto some time".....

Fortunately Lucy could sense the Arbok as well," Lucy the second he's in range use Protect, then counter with Close combat!" A green sphere was blasted out of the sand by the Arbok, mouth aflame. Lucy quikly dropped her shield and retaliated with a series of kicks and punches at the arbok's belly.
Polly however, took a hard hit from sucker punch but was able to block the brunt of the solarbeam with the ice shield which now lay in pieces on the sand. She was able to regain some of her health with a sitrus berry.
"Polly Rain dance then use hydropump on the field then Arbok."

Seeing how Zdani's Chocolate Rain wasn't doing as well as planned, Nolan chose to use different methods.

"Zdani, stop using Chocolate Rain, attack Jake with Grass Knot"

All of a sudden a large root grew from the ground and tied around Jake's left leg which caused his Hyper Beam to fly to the right and slightly graze Vybuch rather than horribly mutilating her.

"Vybuch, Zdani, us Earthquake again!" Without Blitz to help him, Jake was completely helpless. The fact that he could no longer move was not doing him much help either. Vybuch and Zdani started to pound the ground, this time a bit harder than before. Even larger cracks started to show and bigger boulders started to pop from the ground. With his defense down, Jake could easily be finished off by this move.

Blitz could only look on as Jake was pounded by a new earthquake. After the attack ended, the Lucario collapsed onto his knees.

"That's enough for now you two, Blitz, clear away the Sandstorm with Silver Wind," Tony sighed.

The Flygon nodded, and blew away the sandstorm with his final attack, which hopefully would also damage the enemy Pokemon. Tony held out their Poke balls and returned the Pokemon. Jake, even though he looked battered, would easily be able to return to the battle, but Tony wanted to end this quick.

Seth handed him his book, and strolled onto the battlefield, ready for his turn. Tony pulled a Poke Ball from his belt, and released the Pokemon inside, Flynt, his Quilava. They might not look like much, but they were his best Pokemon.

"Combination one," he called to the two of them.

The two Pokemon nodded and began their assault. Their first combination was Fire Spin and Whirlpool, twin tornadoes of water and fire. They served as a distraction mostly.

"Flynt, Lava Plume, Seth, Blizzard" Tony sighed.

The ground underneath and surrounding the Exploud started to melt, already weakened by the Earthquakes the two Pokemon had used. A fountain of lava shot out of the earth from right under the Pokemon. Meanwhile, a cold wind suddenly blew at the Cradily, carrying several chunks of ice along with it. Tony grinned, victory was within his grasp.

Kai shook Liam's hand.

"Want to head to the Pokemon Center to get our friends healed? We can then chat about Johto a little until your next match." Kai inquired.
