The Dark Titan fell to his knees. The shadowy amalgamation of darkness was seemingly melting, severely wounded. The dark figure with the large black cloak stepped forwards. Raising his cane-sword, he slashed, cutting the Titan in half. The man stepped forwards as the shadows vanished and a single grey amulet with a dark symbol clattered to the ground. The man grabbed the amulet, squeezing it in his hands.
"At last."

---------------------------------------------- One week later ----------------------------------------------

"After the first reported incident one week ago, reports of strange black and purple portals appearing all around the world have been gaining more and more interest from both the national police and the public alike. Professor Kukui, the Pokemon Move expert, has stated that these vortexes are unlike any Pokemon move previously seen." The reporter on the TV screen said. "Pokemon Professors are dazzled by this news, and professional investigators have yet to determine the cause of this strange phenomenon. For the time being, the official Pokemon community has chosen to call these Gates. When asked by the press whether these Gates could be related to the missing persons cases that began at the same time as the first portal appeared, former head of the International Police's UB Task Force Anabel stated that "there is no proven connection between these events, but the possibility does exist". There has, however, been a national warning to stay away from these Gates if you see one. The investigation continues. In other news, Team Skull has-"

Sun Kamon turned off the TV, the broadcast he tuned in to watch over. He was very interested in these Gates, to say the least. A knock came from his door right as he was sitting back in his desk. Getting up again, he opened the door. His Pokemon pal, Repide the Lycanroc, came barging in.
"Hey, boy!" Sun said, crouching down to shower his adorable pupper with love. The dog licked him as thanks. Repide began to pull on Sun's sleeve, wanting him to go somewhere. "Alright, gimme a sec!" Sun said, walking back to his desk. He closed up his notebook, putting it in his backpack, and put his pencil behind his ear before slinging his bag over his shoulders and following his dog. Repide brought him over to the fridge in the kitchen. "Of course. Lunchtime. Good boy." Before getting food for himself, Sun took some Poke Beans out of the jar on the kitchen counter and dropped them into Repide's bowl. The trainer then pulled some ham, mustard and bread out of the fridge. A few minutes later, he had made himself a sandwich. By the time he was finished eating it, Repide was already scratching at the door. "Alright, alright! You're so high energy today!" Sun said. He grabbed Repide's Pokeball and opened the door. He jogged out, Repide going beside him. He was going to take Repide all the way around Route 1 and back. Waving to the Kahuna and the townspeople who said "hey", Sun went down to the Route.

Sun and Repide were about halfway through their jog when Sun heard a strange noise. "Repide, hold up." His well-trained Pokemon stopped as he did. The noise sounded like a strange humming sound. And it was coming from...
Right below them?
Suddenly, purple light crackled in a circle around Sun and Repide before a Gate opened up right beneath their feet.
"HOLY CR-" Sun said, before he and Repide fell through the Gate.

Sun, falling through the portal, saw that he was now standing on nothing.
In fact, he was falling through the air. From really, REALLY high up.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-"
*SPLOOOOOOOSH*

"For the last time, Estellise!" a Gallade said to his sister with a commanding voice. "You CAN'T be around the Tower!"
"And why not?!" a Gardevoir, Estellise, responded, a bit angry. "You're the guardian, Flynn! I get that! But you're also my brother! Why shouldn't I be allowed to go there for a bit?!"
"Because a) you wouldn't be able to get in, and b) even if you somehow did get in you're NOT READY for the Trials! You're not the Chosen of the Wind!" Flynn said.
"I just want to go see what it's like!"
"Well, you can't!"
"Give me one reason!"
"I just gave you two!"
"Well, give me another!"
A Ralts was sitting in the background, twiddling his thumbs. "Guys, can you please stop fighting...?"
"NO!" "NO!"
"O-okay, then... I'll just be over here..."
Estellise and Flynn were about to keep fighting, when something strange happened. A massive splash was heard just off the coast. The two looked, seeing a massive spire of water rise into the air before crashing back down.
"W-what was that?!" Estellise said, unsure of what just happened.
"I don't know, but I'm going to find out!" Flynn dashed off.
"Wait for me!" Estellise said, running off after him.
"...I'll stay here..." the Ralts said.

Estellise arrived at the beach, practically out of breath. "Flynn... You're... Way... Too... Fast... Whew..."
"W-what's this?!" Flynn said, surprised. He had arrived a bit earlier with much more stamina then Estellise, and saw it first. As soon as the Gardevoir had recovered, she looked at what Flynn had spotted.
"What the...? What is that?" she asked herself, spying the unconscious human on the edge of the beach. Near him was a Rockruff, a bag and a trillby hat. While Flynn and a Granbull were pulling the Rockruff out of the water (being a Rock type, it was more dangerous to him, so they had to get him first), Estellise walked over to the boy. Picking up the hat, she looked it over before going over and grabbing the boy. Throwing him over her shoulder (despite her being pretty frail) Estellise began to take him back to Breeze Valley. Flynn and the Granbull followed with Repide, as an Azumarill grabbed the boy's bag.

Sun gasped awake, sitting up suddenly. "Wha- Whe- How- Why-" Sun glanced around, extremely confused. Last he remembered, he had been falling from the sky, and hit the ocean. Then everything had gone black... until he had woken up here. He saw Repide sleeping beside the bed. "You're alright. Good. But... who could have-"
"Ah, you're awake." Estellise said, entering the room.

Ivory shuffled along as she held her books close to her. Klang floating quickly behind her. She moved to the closest park where she sat between the roots of a tree, starting the creation of a new picture. Her Pokemon partner resting in the lap as suddenly the fell downward, a portal seemingly opening underneath them. Alice in wonderland style they fell through the sky before they were caught by a skarmory that was very confused thanking them to the ground. The girl was still clutching her pencil case and books, klang beign let go to float around. She hid behind her books as suddenly the Pokemon was yelling at her and she could understand.

Ronnie sighed as he walked towards his house. The punk pulling his jacket closer to him with a sneer at the weather. He tripped and tumbled through a portal that suddenly open. He screamed as he and his Stunky, who had been following him, fell through the sky. He grabbed his poisen type and held his breath before landing in water that smell foul in a cannon ball. He surfaced and pulled over to what looked like a walk way, pulling himself and Stunky on to the thin walkway.

"Lucas! It's time to feed the Miltank! Do that for me, please."

The young boy looked up from his sketchpad at the call, and hopped up off the bed. As he did so, he flicked off the radio on his nightstand. It had stopped playing his music anyway; now it was just some news program that he'd been tuning out. Beside him, Thorne raised his head sleepily and followed him with a curious expression. Lucas rushed down the stairs, the clacking of Thorne's hooves right behind him. When he reached the bottom, he looked down at the bottle in his father's palm, and then back up at the man's face with a smile. "Yeah, dad, on it!" He said, before opening the back door. "Come on, Thorne!"

The bag of feed lay limply on the ground, with hardly enough for even one of the Miltank. His stepmother must have forgotten to pick some up from the store, and he definitely didn't want to hike all the way there and back with a heavy bag of food, even with his partner's help. He knew the other barn would have at least enough to get through the day, but he would have to make it past two rather temperamental Tauros. He shrugged to himself and walked across the yard, letting Thorne through the gate first. One of the Tauros looked up at him with a spark of irritation in his eye, and Lucas simply ducked into the barn quickly, latching it behind him and Thorne.

With a grunt, he lifted one of the sacks of food to place on his partner's back, and the Skiddo bleated a reassurance. However, just when they were about to open the door of the barn to exit, Lucas noticed a faint sparking in one of the corners of the barn, looking almost like violet electricity. Curious, Lucas approached it, but the energy just seemed to crackle and grow, developing a sort of gravity that pulled him toward it.

Suddenly, there was a loud crash of horns against the outside of the wall. Startled, Lucas fell backwards and scrambled back, hearing the agitated roar of a Tauros. Thorne dropped the bag of feed and sidled up next to Lucas, unusually skittish at the commotion. "What could be wrong?" He asked himself. The Tauros usually didn't get this riled up unless there was a good reason.

So distracted was he by the restless and aggressive Pokémon, that he didn't realize that the energy field behind him was growing steadily larger and the gravity stronger. When he finally looked back at the Gate, he cried out as the black and purple light enveloped his vision. The last sensation that he could remember was the waxy feeling of leaves on his face and the bitter smell of sap, as well as a deep, calming voice.

"What are you doing here, little ones?"

"C'mon Sam, let's race there," Benjy said running ahead, while his Cyndaquil, Burst, followed close behind.

"You, know, I, can't, run," Sam wheezed as he tried to chase after his friend.

"Let's go!" Benjy yelled turning around to face Sam.

"Look out," Sam wheezed pointing ahead. But it was all in vain. Benjy and Burst tumbled in the purplish gate. They had just stepped on too. "Benjy!" Sam yelled tripping and following suit into the portal.

Cano Town was a small peaceful place. Sure hidden amoung it was the Amulet of Fire. Guarding it was Takami's job. The Elderly Simisear, shifted the balence on his cane. it was an ordinary day for him. Well he had no way to know about the arrival of Benjamin Hall and Samuel Adamson. He found out the hard way.

He was standing outside the village meditating. He was getting old, and was currently considering passing down his job to one of the younger kids. He had been doing this job for the majority of his life, and was the town elder. However his age was killing him, his bones were creaky, his eyesight was failing in his left eye, and he was beginning to grey. He was relaxing feeling the wind that swept down from the volcano, while pondering his decision. Well until he heard some screaming from above. Then with a crash, three things landed in a tree, with one of them being a Cyndaquil. The others were things he had only heard in legends. Humans. Silently he took all three to his home for rest.

It was unbelievable.

Mere minutes earlier in the day, Platinum was just fine within the comfortable city of Hearthome, Sinnoh - competing in an intense Contest match in the city's local Hall. He was engrossed in the event, calling out multiple sequences of moves for his graceful Dragonair to perform for the large audience in the stands. He was doing fairly well, attracting much of the crowd's attention, until an emergency halt was called by the intense Officer Jenny and crew that had busted into the Contest Hall. Apparently a couple of scientist were beginning to slightly predict whenever these "Gates" were to appear...but only minutes before hand. They must have done so successfully, because surely enough the large purple warp of gravity had erupted in the middle of the dome building, rapidly increasing in size.

Platinum couldn't believe it, as he had quite frankly thought the entire phenomenon was just an elaborate prank by the infamous Team Galactic - but sure enough the Gates were real, because there he was, returning his Dragonair into it's pokeball and scrambling off stage, attempting to run out of the Hall himself. However, he wasn't as fortunate as the majority of the people there - being the first one swallowed up by the portal; however he was fortunate enough to have chosen to be in his casual wear instead of the elaborate uncomfortable suits and such that he would normally wear for Contests.

The Gate seemed to have immediately closed up after withdrawing Platinum, seemingly only hungry for one body. He was left screaming to the top of his lungs as he fell down, down, down, and down some more. He was beginning to feel this Gate would never end - even though he wasn't sure if he wanted it to - having no idea where they lead. But before he knew it, he was laying afloat within a vast ocean after making a loud kabloosh as his body crashed into the water.

Platinum stared stun-faced into the sky, where the Gate had closed up after dropping him. This had to have been a dream, or a prank, or some type of sick joke. He had no idea what was going on, but he came to his senses when he began to sink into the water. He hadn't the energy to move, after spending much of his energy within the Contest he was just competing in, being mentally and physically exhausted by now. He held his pokeball in the air, and in a flash of quick light his partner, Dragonair was there within the water beside him.

"Aiiiiir?" The large slender blue Pokemon questionably emitted in a sirenous tone.

"I-its okay, Dragonair....I'm...not sure what happened- at all." He spoke, attempting to assure his Pokemon while stroking its head and climbing aboard its back. "But do you think you could take us there?" He asked, pointing off to the distance.

Not too far off he saw land; it seemed like a beach. Maybe people lived there that could help him, or explain what has happened. Still not sure if he was dreaming or not, he looked around in multiple directions as Dragonair began the smooth journey onwards, anxiety slowly rising within him. Was this place dangerous? Was anyone even there? Had he been transported to an exile island?

Many questions of worry ran through his mind - but despite the internal feelings he felt, he tried to keep it cool on the outside for his partner's sake. When Dragonair got upset, it wasn't pretty, and if anyone or anything else was around, they would soon find out if the dragon were to gain an anxious or fearful disposition. But until then, the two continued to move towards the island, not sure what they were looking for or what they were in store for.

"The machine is ready sir!" one voice said.
"Are you sure?" another voice said but it was deep and strong. "Have it so time dilation won't be in effect. We want no time changes when one enters and returns. The time should be passed same when went in and affected when returned."
"Yes sir, we're working on it!"
"So," the voice turned to Ry, "son, you know what I want you to find. Keep the book safe and next to you at all times."
"I know, I know... just get it started," Ry said.
As Ry waited, he beckoned Tricky and she came happily. "You're the only real friend to me, Tricky." Tricky smiled and rubbed Ry with her head.

After 20 minutes, Tricky and Ry stopped playing.
"Ry, no time to waste," the strong voice boomed. A person pulled a switch and the circular structure which cause the area to shake and the machine to make wind noises. In the circle appeared a large Gate which was swirly fast.
"Good luck!" the voice said as Ry went in the Gate with Tricky.

It was just a normal day in the region of Aloha, in the Seafolk Village that stood afloat in the sunny area of Poni Island. Zolia had just gotten out of the Pokémon Center after Jake had his recent checkup, as he was swaddled in Zolia's arms like a newborn baby. He quietly sobbed next to her chest, as Zolia said to him, "Hey, what's wrong buddy? I know that you don't normally like going here... but you wouldn't want to get sick wouldn't you- Wait... what's that t- thing?!"

Suddenly, there was a huge suction force that came from a few meters away, as a man exclaimed in panic at the top of his lungs, "OH MY GOD! RUN FOR IT! GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE NOW!"

Zolia screamed in horror as she attempted to resist the unknown force that was sucking her into what she overheard some scientists conversing about earlier: The Gates. She gulped with anxiety as she grasped a wooden pole with her right hand in a feeble effort to withstand the pulling force that was gradually becoming stronger by the second. She shrieked when the wooden pole broke, as the Gate sucked her in within a split second and swiftly closed after engulfing her into another unusual world.

Jake's perturbation was beyond the roof now, as he wailed in terror and cried out with teary eyes, "Jang! Jang Jang! Jang Jang Jang!" He hesitantly took a downward peek, as he saw himself with Zolia high up, while they were still in the stratosphere fortunately. Jake curled in a ball and continued to bawl about in extreme disquietude, as Zolia nervously said to him while tightly hugging his body with her sweaty palms, "Hang on Jake... let's just hope that... u- umm..."

Suddenly, she was now falling at an extreme velocity with Jake, as she shouted in a huge fit of panic, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! WE'RE GONNA DIE! ANY LAST WORDS BEFORE WE HIT THE GROUND?!"

Jake howled with his watery eyes that rained down like waterfalls, as he exclaimed while tightening his paws, "JANG! JANG JANG!"

Soon after a brief period of shrieking and sobbing, they both smacked down on the clear, oceanic seas with a loud thud! Their bodies were inert, as the oceanic currents gradually dragged their bodies to a neighboring, mysterious island that happily awaited them. Zolia soon woke up from her brief unconsciousness, as her clothes were soaked like a saturated sponge. She groaned from the sharp pain that her body lengthily experienced, as she moaned out, "Ugh... where in the w- world am I?"

Her eyes widened when she realized that Jake was not with her anymore, as she said in a louder tone with concern, "Jake?! W- where are you?! Ugh... don't tell me you ran off like that..." She sluggishly tramped across the sandy surface, as she gasped at a bluish scale that she saw! She thought to herself while scurrying up to the scale, "Oh no! I gotta dig this out quick, or else this could be it for him..." She quickly dug out the sand around his infantile body within some intense minutes, as she saw Jake lying in the sand as motionless as a rock. She felt his faint breathing that conveyed the message of his critical health, as she said to him while gently picking him up, "Ugh... you look like you've been in that fight with those skull kiddies. Okay, just relax and stay still Jake, I'll go and see if I can find some place where we can rest or even perhaps call for help..."

She gave off a deeply, worried sigh at him, as she attempted to get him to arise from his comatose by rubbing his chest. She quietly roamed about within the modest beach that she was now on, as she silently made her way deeper into the island. She thought to herself while taking in some deep breaths, "Come on Jake... I know you can do it. I'm a bit hurt too, but I'm sure that we'll find a way to get better. Just try to hang in there... don't give up on me okay?"

Cue a normal day in Littleroot Town, Hoenn. March 29th, 2017. Chima was playing with his starter Pokemon, a Mudkip. "Ah, Quentin, today's like, a great day, and all, but I'm kinda bored... What can we do?" Chima asked, to his partner. "Kiiiip..." Quentin said, wondering. The 11-year old male then saw a weird portal in the distance. "Huh... Quentin, come on! I wanna see what that is." He said, grabbing Quentin and heading towards Route 101. The weird portal looked strange, and then, Chima felt strange... Like he was being forced into the portal. Quentin was, too. He then said, while falling in, "AHHH! WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!"

...Cue darkness. Once Chima and Quentin got inside of the portal - well, forced inside of the portal, at least - he fell into a almost-bottomless pit. "MUDKIP! MUDDDD! KIIIIP!" Quentin screamed, panicking harshly. The two then saw a huge flash of light, and the two didn't see anything.

...A few minutes later, Chima and Quentin woke up, and found themselves in a huge wasteland, with no one in sight. "Ugh... Where the heck are we?" Chima asked to the little baby Mudkip.

Ry's mind went blank. He saw a whole different world right in front of him. He got up since the Gate angled him to land him on the ground. Oddly, he was in a forest which had its understory with ominous markings and coloring.
"So," Ry said, looking around, "what do you think about this world, Tricky?" He turned his head to his right where Tricky always stands next to him. But to his surprise, Tricky wasn't with him. "Tricky?" he said again, quickly looking around his surroundings. "Where are you? C'mon, this isn't the time for jokes..." There was nothing expect an eerie silence. The wind howled, rushing into the lower and upper canopy. The breeze rushed down and soon, slowed down. It seeped into Ry's suit, cooling him in his thick suit, but it didn't confront his feelings about this world whatsoever. He tried a something that would always calm him: closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. As Ry did so, he felt the air dramatically change into a cold, less humid, and dry air. Disturbed, Ry opened his eyes and saw another dramatic change, the environment. It was dark instead of midday, which didn't have a zenith. It was wet in the air as well, there were puddles of water cupped into the soil. Lighting was cracking and thunder shook the earth, but it was the only source of light Ry can use to see. As the thundercloud moved closer to Ry, the lighting allowed him to see a big mansion. And like all mansions, it looked haunted and probably is indeed haunted. It started to rain heavy which triggered Ry to cover his head. He also closed his eyes, which again, dramatically changed the temperature from wet and cold to cool and light. He opened his eyes and stopping covering his head and saw that he returned back to the small forest at the exact location he started in. "What the..."
Puzzled, he tried to collect his thoughts, but the sounds of thunder could be heard which disturbed him. Flashing of lighting could be seen just like when he was at the mansion. Maybe the thundercloud followed him to the forest. Afraid it might rain again, Ry looked for shelter and luckily there was a mountain next by. He looked around the base of the mountain to find a large cave. "So many caves, but those many caves are too small..." Ry sighed, soon he found a cave big enough to set down his supplies. "Tricky, I just wish you're safe..."

Ry heard familiar cries of a Pokemon. "Tricky?!" he said as the cries stopped and came closer to Ry, picking up the sounds of his voice. Tricky was right in front him (Tricky is somewhat far away from Ry) down, sad and scared. Once Tricky saw Ry safe in a cave, she brightened up and floated towards him, avoiding the thick foliage. "Tricky!" Ry said, moving up a little bit closer, but not leaving the cave. A bolt of lighting rushed out, pushing air and everything in its path away. It came down, striking and crashing down as it hit directly down on Tricky.

"W-WHAT THE HELL?!" Sun shouted, scrambling backwards. "A talking Gardevoir?!"
"Is there something surprising about me talking?" Estellise asked, confused.
"You're a Pokemon. Pokemon don't know how to talk. Well, with a few exceptions..."
"Aren't you evidence to the contrary?" Estellise said, looking at him. "Actually, on that topic, what kind of Pokemon ARE you?"
"W-what? I'm not a Pokemon!" Sun said, getting up.
"...what?! But... but every living creature in this world is a Pokemon!"
"That's not entirely true, sister." Flynn said, entering. "Long ago, there were creatures that weren't Pokemon here."
"Wait, what?! You're not talking about the Humans, are you? That's just a myth!"
"Do I look like a myth to you?"
"Not exactly." Flynn replied. "The humans of this world were wiped out long ago. But who's to say he's from this world?"
"What are you talking about, Flynn?"
"I'm talking about the Fallen. Surely you've heard the rumor?" Flynn responded. "Many Pokemon have stated that they've seen weird creatures that aren't Pokemon fall from the sky and land in this world. I've been in contact with some of the other Guardians recently, and they've stated that they've seen humans fall. Apparently, they fall from strange black-and-purple portals. The popular theory right now is that they come from another world."
"Saying this right now... Flynn, was it?" Sun said, getting up and butting in. "You are absolutely, 100% right. This is not my world."
"I figured." Flynn said, holding up a broken Pokeball. It was Repide's. "We don't have anything like this in this world."
"So... you're really a human?" Estellise asked. "I never knew humans were so creative!"
"Huh?" Sun responded, not knowing what she meant. Then she held up his notebook. "Oh. Well, thanks! Good thing I bought the water-proof bag!"
"Nice to meet you, by the way! I'm Estellise Scifo!" Estellise put out her hand for Sun to shake.
"Nice to meet you, too! Name's Sun Kamon!" Sun shook her hand. Right at that moment, Repide woke up.
"Hey, Sun! You're awake at last!"
"Whoa! You know, I should have expected this. If they can talk here, why can't you?"
"Estellise and Flynn explained it all to me. You know they're siblings, right?"
"Oh, really?"
"We haven't gotten a chance to show Repide around the village, yet." Estellise said, twirling back and jumping in the air a bit. "And you also need to know where you are, since we can't exactly send you home just yet! Follow me, I'll give you a tour of the village!"
"Alright. Let's go, Repide!" Sun said, as the two of them headed after Estellise, who was now outside. Flynn closed the door, following them out.

Nyne trudged through the woods, heavy feet crushing and cracking branches, but she wasn't worried. Most Pokémon in this forest had known her since childhood, and wouldn't attack her. Besides, this was a fairly safe area anyway. She reached her long neck up to reach for a pierce of red fruit hanging from a tree, when she noticed something odd. A piece of white fabric was visible up in some of the higher branches, and the closer she looked, the more she realized that it was a piece of clothing attached to a small creature.

Placing her large legs against the trunk of the tree, Nyne leaned against it to get a better look. The fabric was covering the body of a strange creature that she'd never seen before, and it was cradling the body of a young Skiddo, face buried in the Pokémon's leafy mane.

"What are you doing here, little ones?" She wondered to herself, and gently disentangled them from the branches. She lifted each of them in her mouth and placed them carefully on her back. As she looked closer, she began to recognize the new creature. Not this one specifically, but she had heard of mythical creatures called 'humans.' But that was ridiculous, wasn't it? The Tropius raised her head to gaze at the nearby shape of the Tree, whose imposing form could be seen for miles in every direction.

Lucas groaned and rolled over onto his side. He was hurting, pretty much all over, as though he had landed on a tough bale of prickly hay. "He's awake!" A voice chirped, and Lucas heard the familiar sound of cloven hooves beating on tightly packed dirt. He cracked an eye open and looked for the source of the voice, almost crying out with relief when he saw a familiar face.

"Thorne!" He said, sitting straight up. The Skiddo bleated happily and jumped up into the—nest?—that he was laying in, accidentally stepping on his stomach and eliciting a small gasp of pain from the boy.

"Oh, sorry! Sorry Luke, I forgot you were hurt!" Thorne cried, scrambling off of him. The outburst made Lucas pause in shock. Those words had come from Thorne, the Pokemon's voice sounding like a young child's.

"You..." Lucas trailed off before finding his voice again. "You can talk?"

Instead of answering, Thorne tilted his head to the side curiously. "You can understand me?"

"Did you say that he's woken up?" An unfamiliar, musical voice drifted in the room. An Audino padded through the doorway, eerie blue eyes lighting up as they spotted Lucas, who was enamoured with her voice. He stared dumbly as the Pokemon drifted over to him and began to inspect his skin, which he noticed was covered with nasty scratches and was missing a shirt. "Good, they're healing nicely," the Audino said. There was a golden bell tied around her neck that chimed a little as she moved, and a white cloth was tied around her waist and clasped with a gold pin. The surrealism of the situation was incredibly unnerving.

"...what's going on?" Lucas asked in wonder, stroking the leaves of Thorne's mane. "Where are we?"

"Nyne found you halfway up a crabapple tree," the Audino explained in that singsong voice of hers. "My name is Bell, and you're in my home in Oak Town."

Lucas looked at his surroundings curiously, noting that it was incredibly humble. There was only one room, and the walls looked to be made of thick, intricately woven and dried grass. Even though the floor was packed dirt, the place gave an impression of neatness. Four nests made from moss, feathers, and other soft materials were laid out evenly across the large room, though only one other was inhabited by another Pokemon.

"Bell says there's no humans around here," Thorne told him, sounding a little disconcerted. Lucas blinked.

"Really?" He asked, looking up at Bell in bewilderment.

"If that's what you call your kind, then yes," Bell's head bobbed up and down in what Lucas could only describe as a nod. "Even Miss Nyne said she'd never seen one of you in person before." At Lucas and Thorne's questioning look, she went on. "She's the oldest Pokemon in the village. She brought you here so that I could heal you. But you shouldn't worry about that now; you can meet her later."

Lucas nodded after a moment of hesitation, laying back down and hugging Thorne's body to himself. "Thank you for helping me," he said to Bell, who was busy dabbing a wet cloth to his shoulder. In response, he heard a soft, soothing chuckle. As she tended to his scratches, Lucas pondered over his situation. Where had the Gate taken him that was completely devoid of people? Where Pokémon could speak?

Chima looked around the wasteland, and, the same did Quentin. Quentin then saw a Cubone. The Cubone was walking around, looking around for something. "Mud! Kip!" The baby Mudkip exclaimed to his trainer. "Huh? What is it, Quentin? Did you find something?" Chima asked, grabbing the baby Mudkip, and saw it pointing towards a Cubone. The Cubone hesitated for a moment, and then looked around to see Chima. "Gahhh!" The two exclaimed. "A talking Cubone?!" Chima shouted, scared. The Cubone then used Bone Club, and hit Chima and Quentin hard. The two fainted.

...Once Quentin and Chima woke up, they were laying in a hospital-like building. The two then saw the Cubone from before, scared, and a Wigglytuff. "Ah, your alright." The Wigglytuff said, quite relieved. "What.. do you mean? I never knew Pokemon could talk.." Chima said, hesitating to because of his fear. "I.. I'm sorry I hit you.. I was... just... scared.. and, uh.." The Cubone said. "So, uhh.. Where are you from?" He asked to Chima. "Me? I'm from Littleroot Town, in the Hoenn region." Chima explained. "Hoenn? Where's that?" Cubone asked. "Anyway, if your lost - I can help you get home." He said. "Ah, we'd surely need some help. We need to get outta this flippin' alternate dimension." Chima said, with Quentin in his arms.

Aon was sitting at his home at that Saturday morning. He worked a lot to help his father last week at the garden, so nobody decided on teasing him about his laziness this weekend, which they always did. Actually, starting by the day that he first met with his best friend Abra, whom Aon named as Raizo, Aon was sleeping a lot. Laziness was a very infectious illness, he realized. They, on the other hand, became good friends after all, a life without Raizo becoming impossible for Aon. All of a sudden at such a calm morning, however, Abra woke up from his deep sleep and started gazing outside of the window. “Aabraaaaaaaaaaa” He said in a slow and calm way, drawing his best friend’s attention.

Aon excitedly looked out, seeing the open blue sky, which was as normal and calm as any other day. It seemed like air was whispering to his ear, “Hey, come play outside.”

“Oh, so you want to go out today?” Aon asked to Raizo, immediately getting up from the armchair he was resting on. Within minutes, they got out with a small backpack, which Aon had placed some sandwiches inside. “Well, it i a good day for training” he was thinking. He rarely was having the chance of training with his Abra, same as any other Abra trainers, as he was sleeping too long. This never was a handicap, on the other hand, Abra was a fast learner, and Aon was a somewhat talented trainer.

He preferred taking a tour around the city, taking some fresh air on the way. He had a special place that he discovered before which he was always using in such times. It was a calm place surrounded by trees. Actually he was preparing to leave his home town the next week, many adventures were may be waiting him at different regions, or at least that was what Aon was thinking. So it could be his last time coming to this place, but he had no idea that the adventure he planned having was about to begin already, in an unplanned way.

It started all of a sudden. At first, a tentacle-alike formation popped out of the ground, and the energy it possessed immediately started vacuuming everything nearby. Aon could not even have an opportunity to defend himself, it just happened so sudden and that happened right behind him. With that, both Raizo and Aon found themselves into a dark, unending hole. Both tumbling and falling following with a nausea, they were drawn inside this emptiness unendingly.

“Oiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!” Aon started shouting.

“Aabraaaaaaaa!”

Then, however, Aon realized a blue circle at the end of the hole. The more they approached, clearer it became, that was the other tip of the typhoon opening to the skies. That was not the good news. Surely after getting out of there Aon and Abra found themselves falling, through an island. Both kept on screaming while falling at first, but soon after Abra disappeared by using his teleport. Aon could look through the island while falling, seeing a mountain in the middle of the island, which an eclipse shaped giant purple stone were extending from its body. Like a modern capital city there were too many long and magnificent buildings standing onto this magical formation. Aon was shocked of witnessing such a thing, which was unbelievably beautiful. It was a pity that his life was going to end like that; there were no ways of surviving after falling from such a distance. Suddenly something happened, however. A Gothitelle and a Gothita approached towards behind him, and as they did Aon stopped falling.

“Hey, what’s going on!” Aon asked, quite confused of such an unexpected rescue happening. All those things happening starting from the last hour was slowly building a tolerance towards getting surprised for him actually. He probably was not going to get surprised of anything this easy after that event, ever.

“What is this thing? Is it talking?” Gothitelle asked quite shocked.

Now, that was something that Aon couldn’t help himself, but again got shocked. All three were already flying towards the city placed on the purple stone. Aon was not doing that on purpose, however, he was getting help from the Gothitelle. He didn’t care, he was more focused on the fact that this Gothitelle was talking.

“Wait, what? Are you talking? How come does a pokemon can speak?” Aon asked. His backpack which had fallen apart reached towards Gothita by flying at that moment. “Mum. Smells good, shall I open that?”

Estellise had just finished up giving Sun and Repide the tour. They were now at the beach where Sun had first washed up.
"We first found you here, on this beach." Estellise said. "It was quite a shocker, hearing you fall from the sky."
"Oh, so that's why the people in town are calling me the Fallen, huh?"
"Well, that's not the only reason." Estellise replied. "There are rumors of other Humans like you falling from the sky on the other islands. I didn't know what to think of it until now..."
"Sadly, I wouldn't be able to help them." Sun said, clenching his hand. "I don't even know how to get back myself. Actually, on that note... While Repide and I are stuck here, where are we going to be staying?"
"Well... you can stay with us!" Estellise said. "We have a lot of room in our house that we don't use. Plus, having a roomie that's not one of my siblings could be fun!"
"...siblings?"
"Oh, that's right! You haven't met my brother yet. Well, you'll meet him soon enough!" Estellise said.
"That'd be great." Sun said, smiling. "By the way, what's there to do here, Estelle?"
"There's a lot to- Estelle?"
"Yeah, it's a nickname. A shortening of your name that's easier to remember. Thought you might like it."
"Estelle... Estelle... It sounds great!" Estelle replied. "Anyways, let's go back. We've got to confirm the living arrangements with Flynn!" Estelle grabbed Sun by the hand and started to bring him back to Breeze Valley. Repide followed close behind.

Ivory after being yelled at the skarmory. She was then led by him to around the town, being given residence in a small shack that sat close to the amazing clock tower. She waved goodby and looked at klang. The steel type looking at her before flying in to check out the new house.

Bell had given Lucas and Thorne a brief explanation of the area as she worked, though she was shocked that they'd never heard of at least Pyns Island before. After all, that was apparently where they were currently located. When she was done, she offered to get someone to show him around.

"Lyric! I know you're there," she called through the door, and a small creature squeaked before trotting into the room. Lucas figured that the young Pokemon—a Petilil, by the looks of it—had been waiting outside the entire time. "Could you show Lucas and Thorne here around for a bit?"

Lyric looked up at the two strangers with curious yellow eyes. "What kind of Pokemon is that one?" She asked bluntly, pointing at Lucas with a stubby green arm. Bell gave her a look of disapproval.

"Don't be rude!" The Audino scolded. Lucas laughed sheepishly.

"It's alright," he said. "I'm not really a Pokemon. I'm a human."

"Hu~man?" Lyric asked, dragging the word out experimentally. Lucas nodded, and the Petilil giggled. "Okay! Come on Mister Human and Mister Skiddo!"

Lucas and Thorne looked at each other a little awkwardly, before following her out of the hut. Lucas put a bandaged hand up to his green eyes to protect them from the sun's glare, and once his eyes adjusted, they widened.

Oak Town was, in a word, bright. And not just literally; Pokemon of many different species were milling about, some young ones playing in patches of sunlight without care. There was even a Kricketune humming a cheery melody for an audience of a range of ages. Huts much like those that he'd just exited were placed around the village, though they all looked roughly the same apart from a few decorations here or there. The most notable characteristic of the small town, however, was the oak tree at its center.

It wasn't just any oak tree, however. This tree was enormous, and could probably be seen for miles, towering over the canopy layer of the rest of the forest. The shadow cast from its numerous leaves probably prevented most other trees and thick brush from growing at its base, making this the perfect spot for a village. Lyric must have noticed him staring, because she spoke up. "That's the Oak," she said, a hint of pride in her high voice. "Everybody says it's real important."

"It's beautiful..." Lucas replied in awe. The town was a perfect picture of peace, and Lucas had to put a hand on one of Thorne's horns to keep himself upright. Thorne, sensing his partner's weakness, looked up at Lucas with worried eyes.

Lyric showed them her favorite places in town, including a shop that sold a variety of products sourced both locally and from other islands, add well as a small brook running on the edge of the village. At one point, Thorn had spotted a lone Pokémon on the other end of the stream, training by itself. Leaves were propelled by the Pokémon's powerful wings and sunk into the soft bark of a tree, all the way down to the stem. "Who's that?" Thorne asked curiously.

Lyric's voice was quiet. "That's Mister Eirik," she explained, unusually timid. "You shouldn't go near him, though. He gets really cranky."

"Really?" Lucas asked, but what he could see really was the picture of solitude, but oddly enough, peace as well.

"Yeah..." Lyric trailed off, but then squeaked as though she'd just remembered something. "Oh no! I was supposed to be home by noon!"

Sure enough, the sun had already begun it's decent towards the earth, and the Petilil apologized and told the pair of newcomers that it was nice meeting them and that she'd had fun playing, but she needed to get back to her mother before scampering off. Lucas waved her goodbye.

"We should get back to Bell's house," Thorne said, and Lucas nodded in agreement. Unfortunately, Lyric had left before showing them back, so they weren't exactly sure which way they'd come.

"Why don't we just ask him?" Lucas asked, pointing across the water to the Decidueye, who still hadn't acknowledged their presence.

"Are you crazy?" Thorne hissed quietly, but the human had already hopped across the brook and was approaching the other Pokémon. Thorne made a small whining sound, but followed regardless.

"Excuse me?" Lucas asked politely, but was met with the head of a leaf arrow pointing towards his own skull, right between his startled green eyes. He yelped at the unspoken threat. "I-I was just wondering if you could tell us how to get back to Oak Town..."

The Decidueye blinked a few times, looking the human up and down. He looked young, but not as young as Lucas himself; maybe a few years older. "You're not from around here, are you?" He stated rather than asked, voice deadpan. Lucas nodded wordlessly. "Just look for the giant tree. You'd literally have to be blind to miss it."

The pair looked up through the canopy of trees, and sure enough, the trunk of the huge Oak Tree could be seen even from here. Lucas felt his face heat up. "Oh. Alright, then. Thanks."

Eirik hummed in response, going back to his training. He shot one of his leaves at a protruding branch, slicing it clean off. Lucas grinned at the display.

"Wow! You're really accurate with that!" The human said with twinkling eyes.

"...Don't insult me. That was nothing." In a moment, he had plucked another quill, notched it in his bowstring, and fired it at Lucas's stunned face. Well, not necessarily at his face, but looking down, the human saw a tuft of brown hair drifting to the dried leaves below. Turning around, Lucas looked for an arrow in the thin spattering of trees and couldn't spot it. Eirik had, by now, turned around and was brandishing another arrow without looking at them. "Don't you have someone else to bother?"

As Lucas and Thorne trudged through the forest, they finally found the arrow a few hundred feet later. It was buried in another tree, this time in the middle of a crudely drawn target.

"Egh, where am I, and why do I feel lightheaded," Burst moaned as he rolled around on his mat for a minute. He rose to his feet to ear he was in a hut, while next to him was Benjy and Sam, laying in their own respective mat. The Cyndquill walked over to Benjy, who happened to be the closest, and glanced at his Pokemon. A large crack was across it's face. "What happened," the Cyndaquil muttered.

"Well I see, one of you three is awake," Takami said, as he entered the hut, carrying a kettle, along with four crude cups. He sat in front of the sleeping humans and ushered the Cyndaquil over.

"My name is Takami, and I live here. As you can tell, I live a very quiet, unadvanced lifestyle. Now little Cyndaquil tell me your name and help yourself to some tea. We have much to talk about," the Simisear said, pouring some tea into one of the cups. Burst inched over and Takami handed Burst the cup.

"My name is Burst, and those two are Benjamin Hall and Samuel Adamson. Benjamin, or Benjy is my trainer. Do you have a trainer Takami." The Cyndaquil said before taking a sip of his tea.

The elderly Fire Type gave a laugh. "No, little one. Humans are very rare to this world of ours. I have never met a human before and never had what you call a trainer. Now tell me where are you from, describe it to me."

So Burst did. Burst described his world the best he could, answering any questions Takami had to the best of his ability. When the Cyndaquil was done, Takami leaned back and took it all in. "Now this may seem strange but you must be from another dimension, if that makes any sense. I've heard many legends and myths about humans."

Then Benjy stirred on the other end of the room. He raised his head and blinked the dust out of his eyes. "What the,"

"Why hello Benjamin, glad to see you are awake." Takami said happily.

"A talking Simisear," Benjy mumbled. Then the boy fainted.

"So wait, they can understand us," Burst exclaimed. Takami gave a nod.

The city was organized perfectly that Aon was impressed a lot. All the Pokemon living there worked a lot to form such a place, most probably. A hotel was placed very close to the hospital which was at the middle of the city to be as close as possible for everybody living in the city. Another great building drew Aon’s attention and by noticing that, Gothitelle explained. “That place is where Pokemon council is. They make some decisions all together for the sake of all the Pokemon living in this city.”

Aon had the chance of seeing some pokemon on the streets which he never saw before, and some of them were familiar from the books. It seemed like there were many psychic type pokemon living there. They touched to the ground in front of a small, pink house, and Gothitelle moved to open the door. Raizo, Aon’s Abra was waiting them in front of the house and once he saw Aon again, he seemed very relieved.

“Raizo! You are okay!” Aon said, happily running towards his friend.

“Your friend was very worried when he asked for our help.” Gothitelle then explained. Knowing that just touched Aon’s heart, he knew that Raizo would never leave him behind.

“Thank you for helping us.” Raizo said sincerely with his calm voice.

“Yes, thank you a lot, Gothitelle! Without you I could… Wait what? Raizo did you just speak? Oh, I am absolutely sure know. These all are just a dream. Makes sense now.”

Gothitelle flew towards the living room, which was a small, friendly place. “Come in. My name is Sara, actually. And she is my daughter, Emma.” She explained, showing the young Gothita. “I’d prefer to be called by my name.” Without any hesitation Aon and Raizo walked in towards the living room, those two pokemon were really friendly and helpful. “Sit down please, would you like to have some tea?” Sara asked.

As Aon nodded, Sara flew towards the kitchen which was combined with the living room already so they could see each other and still speak. “Actually, as far as I know, it is a very normal thing for a pokemon to be able to speak. And as you can speak too, I thought you are a kind of pokemon which I never saw before, too. But it seems that is not the case. Don’t mind me asking but what are you actually? What are you doing here?”

“I am a human. And my name is Aon.” Aon shortly answered, still confused about Raizo talking. It actually made sense, if in this place all the pokemon could talk, why wouldn’t Raizo talk too?

“A human? I had read a book about humans, but I never thought that this could be real.” Sara said, coming with a few cups of tea, and serving them to Aon and Raizo. Raizo thanked, and sipped from the tea, so did Aon.

“Mummy, what are humans?” Emma then asked.

“They are aliens, from another planet.” Sara said very confidently, as she was perfectly sure about her assumption.

“Aliens? Oh that is scary!” Emma answered.

“Don’t be scared, Emma. This human looks like a nice one.”

“Actually, I was drawn here with a black hole from my home town.” Aon explained. “May be we are just from different dimensions.”

“This actually makes sense. Lately, there are rumors about other humans drawn into this world. I didn’t believe it before, until I met with you.” Sara said. “Actually, until you find a way to turn back, you can stay here with us. It seems you probably don’t have a place to go, and we have an empty bedroom already.” Sara said.

Aon thanked, and soon after Sara went to the kitchen again, turning back with a bag. “Emma, would you like to go to the hills to bring some food to Orelio.” She said. At that point, Raizo already fell asleep onto the armchair. Aon sighed by noticing that. Sara looked at Aon in case Aon wondered who Orelio was. “Orelio is a friend of mine who is responsible from guarding an important thing for the city at the top of the mountain. We bring him some food every day. Actually you can go there with Emma, if you want. It is a very beautiful place which I want you to see!”

Aon smilingly nodded. He always liked beautiful landscapes anyway.

Having no where else to stay, Bell let them sleep in her infirmary, since serious injuries were rare in this village anyway. There were still no clues as to how they had arrived in this weird dimension, either, and how they were supposed to get back.

"Hey, could you guys get me some more Oran berries today?" Bell asked, walking in on Lucas grooming Thorne's leaves. "I've been getting low. Ask Nyne first; she might have just picked some."

"Of course!" Lucas replied, grinning. Bell gave them directions to Nyne's place, and Lucas was a little struck by the oddness of it. Nevertheless, he and Thorne left for the Great Tree. This 'Nyne' Pokemon seemed to be an enigma of sorts around here; he'd been around for a little less than a day, but had yet to meet her. She seemed to be well known around the village though. He'd even asked Lyric, who they'd seen around the village, about her, and the young Pokemon had simply beamed and told them about how Nyne was one of their "protectors, but still nice." Whatever that meant.

When they reached the base of the Great Tree, they traveled around it until they saw a bell attached to a stand, which they rang. Looking up, they saw some movement on the upper branches before a figure descended to their level, flapping huge, leafy wings. Lucas smiled. "Are you Nyne?" He asked.

"I am," the Tropius replied, voice deep but soothing. Thorne spoke up, politely explaining their purpose for being there.

"I'm sorry, I actually haven't been out to harvest in quite awhile. My last trip was interrupted. I'd be more than willing to show you where the best trees are, though," Nyne offered with a smile of her own. Lucas and Thorne looked at each other in silent debate, and then nodded in agreement.

"That would be great, thank you!" Lucas said cheerfully, and the three began to walk into the forest, away from the village.

"I'm sorry, usually my apprentice is the one to accompany me on these outings," Nyne apologized after a moment.

"Oh, it's no problem at all! We're just grateful that you offered to help!" Lucas replied hurriedly, not wanting the older Pokemon to feel bad. "Do you mind if I ask what you mean by 'apprentice,' though?"

"Oh, he's a nice young Pokemon. You might have met him already; his name is Eirik."

Lucas stopped walking for a moment. "That grumpy archer?" He asked, stunned. The Decidueye hadn't really seemed like the apprenticeship type. "What were you teaching him?"

"He's going to take over for me someday as the protector of the village and, specifically, the Great Tree. As you may have noticed, none of Oak Town's residents have any particular skills or want for battle. Eirik and I are the only ones trained for fighting."

"What does the Tree need protection from?" Thorne asked curiously.

"Well, legend has it that an ancient energy sleeps within the tree, and that only the chosen may wield it someday. They say that's why it has grown so massive."

Lucas thought on that for a few minutes. What a strange dimension, with a legend like that. If course, his own world held such myths too, but still. He wondered if there could be any truth at all to the story. Before he knew it, they had arrived at a clearing filled with Berry trees, and he lost himself in childish wonder.

The walk back was filled with mostly small talk, with Thorne stealing some Berries from the basket on his back when he thought no one was looking. However, before the two separated from Nyne, the Tropius had one last thing to say: "You should try talking to Eirik a little. Who knows? He might even teach you a little archery. He's very proud of his skills."

Lucas furrowed his brows, wondering what he would need archery for in this dimension, but before he could ask for clarification, Nyne was gone.

After a few minutes of riding upon Dragonair quietly through the cool water and examining their surroundings, Platinum had reached the land in which he thought was a beach - but had actually turned out to be snow, instead of sand. It was surprising to him, but it wasn't a surprise, considering his life in Sinnoh had literally been indulged in the frozen water - especially living in Snowpoint city. Even Dragonair, being its type, was used to it; but not necessarily fond of it.

The two went up upon the land, Platinum slowly becoming miserable, as his clothes were soaked, and the cool breeze had made it feel a thousand times colder. He began shivering, attempting to wrap his arms as tight around his body as possible for some try at warmth.

"Ugh....Ice. I cant stand it sometimes..." Platinum had heard as Dragonair made its way on to the chilly land. Platinum froze.

He then whipped his head around - trying to locate where the voice had come from. However he was only able to see Dragonair, who was shaking the water off of its slender body. Was there someone else here? Hiding? The young teen began to become worried, thinking he could have possibly been lured to have harm done to him.

"W-where did that come from, Dragonair? Have you seen anyone?" He asked his partner quite fearfully.

The dragon-type scanned the area for a little bit as well, before finally returning his gaze to his trainer.
"Nope." It responded, but instead of the sirenish sound, it came out in full, clear english.

Platinum jumped back a bit, shouting in surprise, causing his Dragonair to do the same. Platinum blinked his eyes, over and over, while gazing at his Pokemon. He had to be dreaming.

"What? What?" Dragonair spoke, again in english.

"You.....YOU CAN TALK?" The white haired trainer sputtered frantically.

"You...you can understand me!?" The serpentine spoke back.

"This is-...this is all madness..." Platinum mumbled, pacing back and forth, gripping his head with both hands. "Wake up.Wake up.Wake up.Wake up!" He told himself, oddly pinching or slapping himself.

Dragonair watched in slight embarrassment, trying to calm its trainer down, before the the sea blue orb adorning its neck began to slightly glow, signaling a presence nearby. Dragonair rose its head defensively, scanning the area again and coming across a Froslass half-hiding behind a large snow-covered rock, curiously spectating the two. It seemed stunned to have been spotted, as it ducked immediately after realizing it was discovered.

"No! Come back out here, show yourself." Dragonair demanded, slowly raising its body level, preparing in case the observer had violent intentions.

But quite immediately and in a meek manner, the Froslass slowly revealed itself from behind the rock. Its hands covered its eyes at first, causing Dragonair to feel confused but relaxed - regaining its normal posture. Along with the Froslass was a small Swablu, hovering in the air above its companion. Platinum took a look at the Froslass; it seemed terrified. From his past studies, he remembered it as the Snow-Land Pokemon, and a dual Ghost-Ice type; trouble for Dragonair if it were hostile. He also easily recognized the Swablu, as he had seen many before and actually had intentions of catching one back home. These Pokemon didn't seem to have harmful intentions at all, both seemingly shy and a quiet. The Froslass then spoke up, with a shaky voice.

"I-I-...I'm sorry for spying on you....I-I was just curious! Who....What are you?" The Froslass questioned, removing its hands from shielding its face. "If you are what I think you are....how did you get here?"

Platinum just stood, still stunned at the fact that he could understand the speaking of Pokemon. He still couldnt believe any of this was happening. Dragonair took the task of communication, attentive to the fact that his trainer was having a hard time processing all of this.

"I'm a dragon type Pokemon from the Sinnoh Region...and this is my Trainer." It explained, pointing his tail to Platinum. "He is a human."

"Trainer? Human? Oh no....its real? How did you get here? We have to go get Ariel immediately!" The Swablu spoke up in a jittery manner.

"Wait, what? Ariel? Who...?" Dragonair tried to question, but it was too late.

As soon as the Swablu had finished speaking, the two turned and made quick movements east, despite Dragonair's attempts to call for them. It sighed, scooping Platinum up, in which the Trainer-Coordinator had barely snapped back to reality and managed to take a steady grip on his pokemon' neck. As the wings on the sides of the Serpentine Pokemon's head grew slightly larger, it began to float in the air, and then tried to speed as fast as it could in order to catch up to the fast moving Froslass and Swablu. Flying wasn't Dragonair's strong suit quite yet, but it managed to bring the two retreating back in to view.

After crossing a frozen over lake, the Froslass and its cotton ball partner ducked into the woods, in which Dragonair followed. Platinum tried to keep any passing by leaves and branches out of his partner and his faces. He had finally became fully aware of the situation, and wanted answers just as much as Dragonair did. They needed to figure what was happening, and how to get back home - hopefully this 'Ariel' character could help them.

John Cleaned his hair that he just fixed 2 minutes ago. He wanted to look well groomed infront of Valerie. John stepped outside, his partner Ninetales at his side. The path John took was quiet and no one was around when suddenly, A Black and Purple Portal appeared, Sucking John into the void.

--

"Wake up, Wake up, You're hair is atrocious again!" is what John heard when he gained conscience again. however there was no humans around. All he could see was Ninetales and Huge White pillars.

"Thank Goodness," Ninetales said quietly. John froze in fear. John looked behind him to see other Pokemon, Talking English. John started to Hyperventilate.

"You can talk!?!" John said panicking. Ninetales was surprised at what John was saying. Ninetales was now also scared.

"You can understand me?!" Ninetales cried. John and Ninetales began to calm down. They needed to figure out what was going on. they both sat down, looking at each other. A tiny Espurr looked at them in confusion and chose to investigate.

"Who and What are you?" Espurr asked quietly. John fainted. Ninetales continued to converse with the Espurr.

"I'm Ninetales, And that is John, he is a human, Can you tell us where we are, it would be deeply appreciated." Ninetales said. Espurr ignored Ninetales question.

"So humans are appearing, the rumours are true," Espurr said quietly. Ninetales was confused.

"What are you talking about?" Ninetales asked. before Espurr could respond, 2 Granbulls appeared. Espurr looked stressed.

"Follow me now! I can carry 'John' using Psychic!" Espurr Yelled.

"Wait what! Wh-"

"There's no time to explain, let's go!"

Espurr dashed away from the Granbull who were charging at Espurr. John was in the air Sleeping. Ninetales quickly followed.

"Where are we going now?!" Ninetales said to himself in annoyance as he followed Espurr.

Wind hit Aon’s face, causing an effect like a mystical wave was flowing through his body. He needed about an hour to finally make it to the top, and now it seemed like he needed one another hour to get use to such a beauty. Flowers he never knew in different shades of blue and yellow were decorating the giant, grey rocks placed randomly all over the hills. Underneath those hills, you could see the whole island, from very bottom to the very top. Many Nidoran and Nidorino at the first layer of the island were visible as they were outnumbered, as if a ping dot is moving on a paper. Aon’s face took an expression as if a surprise birthday party organized for him had just announced to him. He never had one, but he could understand those people at that moment.

Above the first layer, the giant purple stone where the city was built; could be seen. Aon didn’t believe that he was onto it an hour ago. That was just so charming. “Perfect. Isn’t it?” A very deep male voice spoke at that moment. When Aon turned backwards, hoping to see the source of the voice, he realized a cat-like pink being with a very serious expression on his face. That was an Espeon, no doubt. Emma was standing right next to him.

“More than perfect. That’s, just amazing.” Aon answered.

“I am guarding these hills long enough and this sight is the only thing preventing me from feeling lonely.” Espeon answered. “Other than Sara and Emma, of course. Did Sara send you? you should be a friend of her.”

“Yes, yes sir.” Aon smilingly answered. “My name is…”

Suddenly Espeon raised one of his paws, stopping Aon from telling his name. Espeon’s voice earlier was very deep and mature, reminding Aon his father. This first impression, however, was fake. Because only 30 minutes was enough for him to suddenly start making childish jokes, jumping around and playing with Emma, totally creating a shock for Aon. He remembered Espeon’s name as Sara told her earlier: Orelio. Orelio never introduced himself and he never asked Aon about his name, or where he was from, or what a kind of weird creature he was. Aon wondered the reason why, because he surely was not a normal being for those pokemon living in this island. Maybe he was just totally disinterested in others’ type; but Aon kind of knew that this had a philosophy behind.

Soon after, they were ready to turn back. Emma’s mother was probably waiting for them and truth be told, after all those things that happened today, Aon was so tired. He really needed to sleep a little. Moreover, Orelio start looking impatiently to them, his eyes often catching the bag that they brought before. He probably was hungry, but tried not to be discourteous by kicking them away. Aon actually wondered why he was waiting them to leave before starting to eat, but he preferred not asking that.

“All right! It’s time to head back.” He said, standing up, also inviting Emma. Emma was having fun playing with Orelio, but she did not oppose Aon. “See you, Orelio. I will come back again, sometime. Next time you can meet with Raizo too.”

“See you, Orelio!” Emma also said, moving towards Aon.

“Oh don’t worry, Aon.” Orelio answered, a smirk appearing on his face. “I have a feeling that we will need to meet again.”

Aon smiled at that, and started walking down the path going towards the city. After a minute of walking, however, he realized something so stopped for a second. “Wait, did I tell him my name before?” He thought to himself. “Or maybe he just learned it from Emma?”

He didn’t care, anyway, and started walking again. That island was absolutely mysterious, and Aon really wondered what was waiting for him throughout this adventure. Was he going to find a way back to his dimension? He scared after thinking what his mother’s reaction would be after turning back to home. His expression suddenly changed as if somebody just put dozens of garlic into his mouth. “Oh, I definitely need to sleep now!”

After a minute or so of hot-pursuit with the Froslass and Swablu, Dragonair and Platinum chased after the two evading pokemon into an open, snowy field patch. Within a decent distance from the four, a large monument of ice could be seen standing - a faint shimmering emitting from it. Next to it, seemed to be a serpentine-like pokemon as well, being wrapped up within itself, looking like it was taking a nap. Platinum didnt have much time to wonder before the Froslass and Swablu emitted into loud shouts.

"ARIEL! ARIEL! T-THEY....ITS TRUE! THE HUMANS...."
"THE RUMORS ARE TRUE! WE THOUGHT WRONG!"

Amidst all the yelling, this 'Ariel' was awoken from her sleep, and rose her head - quickly springing into a defensive position. Suddenly, Platinum and Dragonair were taken by surprise as a quite long, and gracefully elegant Milotic was revealed as they gained closer. Platinum's dragon type was shocked, stricken by the Milotic's beauty. The way the Milotic looked at the group caused Dragonair to do a double take.

"Whats happened?" The Milotic spoke, her voice as breathtaking as her appearance.

Dragonair was instantly in love, and Platinum began quietly poking fun of him whenever the two native pokemon began rambling on to the Milotic. Dragonair bucked Platinum from off it's back in attempt to shush the young trainer. Eventually, the two approached the Milotic, who had already known what was happening. Apparently, the water-type siren was apparently the guardian of the village and something called an "Amulet".

She allowed Platinum and the oddly quiet Dragonair to some food and rest in a local residence in the village, and the Milotic explained to them the rumors and legends that were thought of to start resurfacing. Although wise, even the Milotic couldn't guess exactly what was being put in play.

Slowly opening his eyes towards the harsh light that came from an open window in an unknown area, the Axovenio sluggishly got up and thought, "Ugh... where in the world am I? I don't feel too great... I can hardly see or hear... or even properly breathe for that matter..." His thoughts were suddenly interrupted from the sound of the creaky, wooden door slowly opening, as he quickly jumped down and hid underneath the bed. He glanced down at his body and saw some white, cloth-like bandages that were snugly wrapped around his left arm and chest with meaningful love.

He heard a feminine voice calling out, "Hey, it's okay. I'm not going to do anything bad here, I was just coming to see if you're alright, but you looked quite bad when I first got you on that beach where that human was earlier."

The Axovenio felt a soft grip around his body that was steadily lifting him into the air, as he sheepishly said to the Pokémon that appeared to resemble a rather huge ladybug, "W- who... a- are... you... a- an- and... p- p- p- p- ple... ase... do... nt... ma... ke... f- f- fun... o- o- o- me..."

The Pokémon replied while gently placing him on the bed, "Well, I'm who they call a Ledian, and you must be that unusual Pokémon that the others have been talking about ever since I took you here in the Nursery. I've been busy with tending to you since you had quite the injuries there when I first saw you. Now, I just need to give you some medicine and you'll soon be starting to feel much better."

The Axovenio's anxiety escalated the moment when he saw the Ledian pulling out a syringe that contained a dormant, white liquid. He quickly hid under the blanket, as the Ledian chuckled and said to him, "Oh, I suppose that you're also scared of this too huh? Well, just try to relax... I know that it might sting a little, but surely that's better than being in a lot more pain right? I don't think that you could just be walking around alone like that you know... I'm not even sure if a little guy like you is even old enough yet."

The Axovenio peeked a tiny part of his head out, as he glared at the Ledian with teary eyes and retorted, "What you mean sting a little?! That thing hurts like that one time I got blown away by that sun beam move thingy! I- is... isn't there a- anot- another... o- op- option?!"

The Ledian gave off a quiet sigh, as she replied with hesitance, "Well, I hate to break it to ya, but there's nothing else that I can do... so just hold still so that it'll be over before you know it okay?"

The Axovenio gulped while he glanced at the open door, as he thought, "Augh... why does this have to always hurt? Can't there just be another easy way out for me or something? I never thought that I'd have to do this like last time, but sometimes things call for emergency plans."

The Ledian calmly said to him while slowly flying over towards him, "Look, I understand that you don't really like being with other Pokémon after what the Noivern told me about what happened in that water island, but I'm not going to do anything bad like those others did! Just please calm down so that you can get this over with okay? It's just going to be a little pinch and then you'll feel better."

The Axovenio quietly sobbed as he babbled out, "F- f- f- f- f... i... i... i... n... n... e..." He continued to wail at the Ledian, as she gave off a worried sigh and prepared to inject the much needed medication into the Axovenio's left arm.

Meanwhile, Zolia continued to walk in the island, trying to find any other people that could possibly be within the area. Her eyes widened to a village full of diverse huts with Dragon-type Pokémon inhabiting the area, as she said to Jake, "Oh my gosh! We did it... we found some others that we could maybe ask for help... Though my clothes are still a bit soaked and you are still out cold, but those two can be solved easily."

She saw a Gible approaching towards them, as he said to her, "Well... umm, are you that human that just fell out of the sky like some time ago?"

She replied in shock while noticing a Flygon that went over to the Gible, "Y- yes... w- wait... YOU CAN TALK?!"

The Gible giggled and said to her, "Umm... we can all talk here, so yeah... better get used to it since you look quite pale to me."

She hesitantly replied to him, "Y- yeah... yeah... well, is there a place where we can rest or something, because my little Jangmo-o is not looking too great after that fall."

The Flygon glanced down at the trainer with her Jangmo-o, as the Gible replied, "Well, our village is quite empty here, so umm... you could stay in the hut that's next to me if you like. Also, I think that we might need to get the Jangmo-o treated first since he's not looking too well, so let's go over to the Doctor first."

Zolia replied while she walked with the Gible towards the Doctor's hut, "Well alright, let's just hope that the Jangmo-o's gonna be okay then."

[THREE WEEKS LATER]

"What the... a vision?"
Flynn was dreaming, he knew. But this was no normal dream. In this dream, Flynn was inside of a tornado. He knew what that meant.
The Amulet of Cyclones was showing him something.
A path appeared, cleared by the wind. The Gallade walked forward, unfazed by the high winds. Eventually, it led to a statue. The winds swept the dust off the statue... and Flynn saw it.
It was a tall statue of the Human that had fallen down - Sun. And the Amulet of Cyclones was around his neck.
"Does this mean... You've finally picked a Chosen...? And it's him...?!"
The Amulet gleamed.
Then the dream ended.

Flynn woke up suddenly, astonished. Blinking back sleep, he got up out of the wooden bed he had made for himself. He decided to check out what was going on. According to the sun dial just outside, it was already noon. Gallade had slept for a while. His little brother, Karol, was eating some food.
"Hi, brother!" Karol said.
"Hey there, Karol. What are you eating? Doesn't look like any of the meals Estellise or I make..."
"That's because it's one of Sun's recipes!" Karol said, smiling. "It's called a 'sandwich'. It's surprisingly easy to make! Even I can make it!"
"Sun taught you how to make it?"
"Yep! He showed me how right before he left."
"Where is Sun, actually?"
"He's helping sister gather some firewood for the bonfire tonight!"

"Got it!"
Sun had just jumped up and grabbed a loose branch from the tree. "That's another branch for the bonfire!"
"But... what about the poor tree...? Doesn't it hurt to take the branch off?" Estelle said, naive as usual.
"Well... not really." Sun replied. "This branch was about to fall off anyways, so I just saved the tree a bit of time."
"Ah, I see!"
It had been three weeks since Sun had first been taken around the village by Estelle, and in that time the two had become good friends. They were currently gathering firewood to use in the bonfire they were having that night, to celebrate the one hundredth anniversary of the village. Repide was out delivering their last collection to the village. Flynn arrived to see the two hard at work.
"Hey, guys! How's the work going?" Flynn asked, walking up. He wasn't good friends with Sun like his sister, but he was close enough.
"It's going great, actually!" Sun said. "We've gotten a bunch of firewood so far. Repide's going to be back soon, and he can take the next load."
"Great." Flynn replied. "Actually, Sun. Do you think I might be able to talk to you for a bit?"
"Sure. What about?"
"Well, we should talk in private."
"...okay...? I'll be back in just a bit, Estelle." Sun said. He and Flynn headed off into another section of the woods.

"So why'd you bring me out here?" Sun asked. He was leaning against a tree, waiting for Flynn to speak.
"Well... I had a vision recently."
"A vision?"
"Yeah." Flynn said. "I've had them before. And this vision... it showed me something important. Something involving you."
"Huh?"
"The vision I received was a message." Flynn continued, becoming deadly serious. "It told me..."

"...you're the Chosen of the Amulet of Cyclones, Sun."

Ronnie rolled out of his bed and fell face first onto the floor. He groaned as his housemate giggled loudly. The boy picked himself up, rubbing his face. The Sandit rushed about the place as Ronnie stood up to his full height, "see you later, Mariza".
He had been having weird dreams as of late, something about an amulet.

Ivory was already up. Her arms were filled with small gears and scraps of metal. She put them down in a box before returning to her work table to collect another pile. Klang floated behind her quickly, looking over her shoulder at the metal as she dumped them off.

Platinum had awoken to the harsh nudging of a rounded snout. Tired, the teen rolled over, hoping to avoid whatever was disturbing his sleep. He pulled the blankets closer over him, but even that attempt was proven useless as the nudging continued, followed by a voice becoming more audible.

"Platinum. Platinum. Wake UP! Its time." It was Dragonair, the beginner-coordinators partner, who was always an early riser. Its voice hadn't stunned its trainer anymore, him having been used to talking Pokemon after a couple weeks.

"Time for what?" The boy grumbled, sitting up and scratching his ruffled head.

"My brush." The dragon type replied, speaking with urgency.

Platinum rolled his eyes. Even within the deep scenario of being sucked up by an alienated portal, met with talking Pokemon, in a place they had no idea existed - the Dragonair still constantly demanded to look its best. Platinum reluctantly slid off his bed, getting dressed. He pulled over his joggers, brushed his hair, and threw on his quite-large puffy jacket, which a couple of the local Pokemon had helped make for him. Although they were strangers to the winter wonderland, the creatures there were quite welcoming for the most part - Dragonair and Platinum quickly becoming just as much liked as they were rumored about throughout the village.

Grabbing his intricate brush from the bag he carried into this strange world with him, Platinum had made his way outside along side his partner before hopping on to its back and beginning to stroke it gently with the pampering instrument. It was a bit colder outside than usual, even for the Sinnoh-born resident.

Suddenly the boy was swiftly tackled by a flash of blue. Platinum had spazzed out for a quick moment before recognizing the voice that had emitted from the small creature. It was the Swablu he had met his first day in the village he soon learned to be "Akull". He had developed quite a close relationship with the small flying-type, more so because the Swablu seemed to already know of her inevitable dragon future, so seeing a trainer so close with one caused her to feel a friendly attraction to him. The Swablu was accompanied by the Froslass and Milotic from earlier as well - Dragonair who stiffened up and tried its best to give off a confident-and-comfortable look. Platinum laughed at his male Pokemon's blush as soon as the Akull Guardian appeared.

"Hey Swablu, Froslass! And Hello, Grace." The boy called out happily to the Milotic after stroking the Froslass and Swablu's head.

"Good morning, young Platinum. Did you sleep well?" The slender serene Pokemon replied. She was always so kind to the human visitor, regardless of her doubts when he had first arrived. She gained very much of a motherly role on Platinum, despite her being quite young in age herself.

"Yes! I did. Thank you!" He responded.

"And you, Dragonair?" She asked, gazing at the broad serpentine.

"Q-quite fine, thank you!" He awkwardly replied.

Platinum sighed at his partner's awkwardness before standing to his feet and patting the snow from his body, with Swablu perched on his shoulder. He surprisingly liked it here a decent amount. Albeit it took quite some convincing that he wasn't dreaming, the village began to grow on him. The one thing that did urk him though, was that he was pretty much kept in the dark about everything -- why he was here, what the meaning was, and even what an amulet was. It was starting to bug him, because even though he had enjoyed his stay thus far, he certainly didn't plan on living there forever.

He requested to talk with Grace, the Milotic, privately, in which she obliged politely. After stepping off to the side, the two deeply examined eachother; Grace knowing what he was about to ask, and Platinum most likely already knowing the denial of his wanted answers.

"Please, tell me. I've been here almost a month now...what am I doing here, and what are all of the prophecies everyone here keeps speaking about?"

John hid in the alleyway with Ninetales at his side with Spurr, the Espurr that saved them from having to face the cops 3 weeks ago. John knew he was hiding with a criminal but it didn't bother him. It was better then, well... John didn't know why the Granbull Police force wanted him but he was sure it was to do with the fact he was different. John wore the same clothes he wore when he first came here as there were no good clothes his size here. Ninetales wore a little black Top hat and had some sparkles in his bright cold tails. Spurr gazed into the distance, wondering what to do with them. John looked at the Pokemon ahead, A few Kirlia were talking, A Togekiss was flying in the sky and a horde of Granbull were charging at the Alley... John quickly ran, Ninetales following, unaware of what was happening, Spurr knowing immediately, Quickly taking the lead and taking them to the safest spot in the secret, long base. They hid inside the Emergency room with the metal door closed, camouflaging like a wall. They chose to hide as far away from the door, Ninetales and John hiding in wooden wardrobes and Spurr hiding in the air vent. The 3 of them were terrified of facing them. John hoped they don't find the picture they framed 2 days ago in Spurr's room as the Granbull banged on the entrance to the base...

As it turned out, Eirik wasn't all that bad. One just had to look deep down. Like, really deep. The Decidueye still insulted him on a regular basis, but he had begun teaching Lucas a bit about archery. Granted, the human was quite awful at it, and Eirik himself shared this sentiment with more colorful language, but Lucas was still in possession of all of his limbs, so he counted it as a win. Besides, his bow was pretty crudely homemade, so that had to count for something, right?

Even Lyric began to become interested in the ins and outs of battle. At her request, Lucas and Thorne agreed to train with her, though the two weren't big fans of fighting themselves. The Skiddo loved having a fellow grass type (with a tolerable personality) to spar with, even if he was just teaching the basics.

Bell continued to let the pair stay in her infirmary, and though she told them the beds were free of charge, Lucas still insisted that they at least perform a few errands for her every now and then. That was how they arrived at this point; Lucas was riding on Thorne's back with a basket full of various medicinal plants and poultices, trying to remember the names of the Pokémon who were supposed to receive them. Lyric was perched on Thorne's horns as they walked, and the two Pokémon giggled at something that she said.

"Alright," Lucas said as he dug through the basket and wrinkled his nose a bit at the bitter smells. "I think this one's for that little Aipom kid... didn't he fall out of a tree?"

"Yeah," Lyric hummed. "That was kind of funny. Don't forget Miss Nyne! I heard she was feeling pretty tired lately."

"Oh?" Lucas looked up in surprise as they moved. The Tropius usually looked like the picture of health to him. "I wonder what's wrong?"

They went there next, and Lucas dismounted Thorne's leafy back to ring the bell at the base of the tree. They had to wait about a minute or so, but sure enough they head the beats of large, leafy wings as the Tropius descended and landed in front of them.

"Good morning," Nyne greeted with a yawn.

"Morning!" Lucas replied with a grin, digging through the basket they were given and pulling out a leafy parcel with some kind of blue, ground-up berry. "We have a delivery from Bell."

"Oh, thank you, children. I appreciate it very much," Nyne said taking the medicine in her mouth and consuming it right away. Lucas noticed that her eyes seemed darker, as though she hadn't been sleeping.

"Is everything all right?" He asked, a bit concerned. Nyne studied him, up and down, almost enough to make him uncomfortable. Lyric nestled herself in his brunette hair.

"I've been having some interesting dreams," Nyne told him finally. At the human's inquisitive look, she continued. "Do you remember when I told you about the energy that sleeps within the Great Tree?"

"Um. I think so...?"

After recovering from the shock of talking Pokemon, both Benjy and Sam, along with Burst, slowly integrated into this small town. The people were friendly, but internally, wondered where these strangers came from. Benjy, Sam, and Burst continued to live with Takami, often taking strolls, around the town, and helping Takami, whenever he needed it.

Benjy soon became interested in the large volcano, just north of town. Takami warned Benjy and Sam to stay away. Burst became friends with Takami, and soon began going north with Takami, every morning, as an apprentice, leaving Sam and Benjy to spend out of the day, in town talking with others. Today was one of these days.

Benjy walked through town, chewing on an apple. Him and the store owner would often play a game of cards. Benjy would help the store keep, while getting an apple in return. However the order of what would happen fist, depended on the outcome of the game. If a Benjy won, he got the apple first, and he helped when he finished it. If the storekeeper won, then Benjy would get it after he helped. Benjy had lost and was now leaving after pitching in, with his apple.

Sam, however, had spent his days learning more about Cano Town, still overall curious about his predicament. But today was a special day, despite the normality that it was masked in.

Later that day, as Burst and Takami walked home, Burst was stronger. He had evolved into a Quilvava during his time up there today. As they walked towards the house, where Sam and Benjy were preparing supper, Takami said, "I think it is time I tell Benjy what I really do." Burst smiled and gave a nod. He had begun to grasp more and now he would understand it all, soon enough.

"...okay...? I don't understand what that means." Sun said, confused. "What do you mean, the Chosen?"
"Well..." Flynn said, trying to think of the best way to explain this to Sun. "Have you been told of the legend of the amulets?"
"No..."
"Well, across the islands there are 17 different amulets." Flynn continued. "One for each of the elements associated with us. Each of these amulets are said to contain some hidden power. In order to keep this power out of the hands of those who would misuse them, the amulets were sealed away by the Ancients inside of many different temples. The amulets would then choose a Guardian to do as they needed."
"The... Ancients?"
"Not important right now. The Amulets would be waiting for someone to arrive. Someone capable of wielding their power. A Chosen. The amulets would then contact their Guardians through visions to command them, and to eventually announce their Chosen."
"Wait a minute." Sun said, the pieces fitting together. "From what you've said... you must be the Guardian of this island's amulet, right? If you weren't, then there's no way you could know I'm the Chosen... if I really am. I mean, I just find it hard to believe."
"You're right." Flynn said. "My job is to bring you to the Tower of Winds. There, you will undergo your final trials to reach the amulet."
"Cool. When do we begin?"
"We can leave after the festival tonight." Flynn said. "For now, let's get everything together and party."
"We already GOT everything together. You just slept through it."
"Shut up."

Ivory finished placing her items away before rushing back over to her desk. She picked up a sketch pad and its a companion pencil before stepping toward the door. Klang following close behind her before she pushed it open. Fresh air flooded the house as Ivory's eyes adjusted to the bright outdoor light. She walked around to be side of the house, picking up a small cart that sat there. Klang sat himself down and the two started off, "so what shall we do today"?

"Perhaps we should go to the park or even to the library again? It would be best to try and figure out what brought us here," klang shifted in his seat as he watched the steel and other types got by.

-----
Ronnie moved about the village. His feet careful as he stepped along the bridges. He made to the center of town and whistled to his best friend. The poison type Pokemon coming over.

John slowly opened his eyes to a new surrounding. He was sitting on a grey wooden chair and his partner beside him on another chair. They were located in a room with familiar sense to an interrogation room. There were security cameras fixed on John and Ninetales. There was a big microphone on the chair Across from him was a Magnezone, staring at both of them curiously. Before John or Ninetales could even ask what was going on, Magnezone spoke in an edgy voice.

"If either of you decide to try leave, I will attack, You should know Steel Type moves are Very good against Fairy and Ice types!" Magnezone yelled.

"Now tell me, How did you meet our infamous criminal!"

Suddenly John remembered where they were captured in the first place. The Granbull caught them in Spurr's hideout.

"He was the first Pokemon to introduce himself to us when we fell from a big portal," Ninetales said without hesitation.

"Giant Portal?! Okay you two are to stay in here while we discuss something, If either of you try to escape, we will be alerted by the security cameras and you will be punished, understood?!" Magnezone said very seriously.

Both John and Ninetales nodded slightly in response and with that the Magnezone floated to an unknown room.

John looked at Ninetales and Ninetales looked at his trainer as they waited for Magnezone to come back.
John hoped they would bring good food and some new clothes and Ninetales hoped they wouldn't die.

That night, the great celebration was held. There was a scavenger hunt (which Repide loved), a dance competition (which Estelle won) and a great feast. During the feast, Sun was chowing down on an apple when Flynn came over.
"Time to go, Sun. You got everything you need?"
Sun held up his backpack, which was stuffed with general things he might require during his trials.
"Good." Flynn went over and tapped Repide before walking back to Sun. "You're allowed to take a buddy or two, according to the Trial system. Repide's coming as well."
"Awesome, so I won't be going in alone." Sun said, smiling. "Are you coming with me, as well?"
"Trial Guardians are forbidden from entering the Trial Grounds." Flynn replied sadly. "You and Repide will be going it alone. Don't take too long in there, though. If we're gone for too long, the others will get suspicious."
"Alright. Let's go." Sun got up, and he, Flynn and Repide walked off to the Trial Grounds.
Estelle was too busy dancing to notice them... but a tiny pair of eyes noticed the departing group, and went to tell his sister.

Sun, Repide and Flynn soon arrived at a tall tower. "Whoa... this thing is tall!"
"We're really high up right now. Heck, we're on top of the highest mountain on the island." Flynn said. "There's no definitive proof for why this tower was built this way, but I have a theory. The Ancients who built it wanted to rise to the heavens, and this tower was supposed to be their way of doing so. You can even see that it's not finished at the top if you look closely."
"Let me guess - it wasn't finished because the Ancients were wiped out while they were building it."
"Right. But they didn't forget to seal it off." Flynn walked to a wall with a symbol on it. The symbol seemed to be three fragments, with an Amulet in the center. "This wall is the entrance to the Trial Grounds of Cyclones. Only the Chosen can open it. Step forwards and touch the wall here, if you would." Sun did so... and the wall glowed and vanished. "Proof positive. Good luck, Sun. Once you enter, I cannot help you. You'll have Repide with you, but that's it. Try to come out in one piece."
"I will." Sun said, entering the tower with Repide by his side.

TRIAL GROUNDS: TOWER OF WINDS

Sun walked through a long hallway before finally arriving at the center of the temple. It was a long vertical room, with a shattered staircase. Weird targets were on the walls, but Sun didn't pay them much mind. He couldn't do anything with them, after all. He saw a door with a green symbol on it on the staircase... just before it broke. He could just walk up to it. So he did. He tried to open the door, but it wouldn't open. He noticed a sort of locking mechanism on the door, and (making a perception check) noticed that it went downstairs. There was another door down there, which he opened and entered. Then he saw it.
"Of course. Puzzles..." Sun said distastefully. It was a block puzzle, which had four pushable blocks and four floor switches. Sun pushed them all in to place, and heard a door unlock. Going back in to the main room, he saw that the door with the green symbol was now unlocked. There was also some new writing on the door.
If you be the Chosen of Winds, enter and attempt the Trial of Courage.
Sun entered the room. It was a long hallway, and at the other end was a statue of some kind. He saw that a few sections of the wall looked weaker than the others, but he supposed it wouldn't matter. Then he heard the door lock behind him. "Wait, what?! Repide, did you change the position of the blocks?!" Then Sun noticed that Repide was right by his side.
"I'm right here, how could I?" Repide asked. "More likely, that door locking is a part of the 'Trial of Courage'."
Then the statue at the end of the room came to life.
Sun and Repide were surprised, as they hadn't expected a statue to get up off of the chair it was sitting at, grab a large stone hammer and start walking towards them. Repide began looking for a way out, while the statue swung its hammer at some parts of the wall. Sun just stared at the statue. It walked forwards, raising its hammer high...
...and gently put its hammer down beside Sun, before taking a green fragment out of its forehead and handing it to Sun. Sun took the fragment. "Hey, Repide. Look. The fragment looks just like the one we saw on the wall on our way in!"
"Weird. But we should find a way out of this room before wondering about that." Repide replied. "It looks like there are small rooms behind the broken walls." The two investigated one of the three new passageways - the one closest to them. Inside of it... was nothing. They checked the next one, and it had a lever. Sun flipped it, and the door unlocked. But just to be sure they weren't missing anything, Sun checked the last area. He was glad he did, because he found a treasure chest. He opened it... and saw something he had never seen before. He decided to take it.
SUN GOT THE CLAWSHOT! Sun can now use the Clawshot to grab far away objects! Sun can also use the Clawshot to pull him over to places using targets or any stable object that the Clawshot can grab on to!
Putting the Clawshot in his backpack, Sun and Repide headed out. Looking around, they saw that there was no way forward... except if he grabbed on to the targets on the wall and dropped down to each platform beneath. Sun thought the Clawshot could work, so he tried it. He told Repide to grab on to him, shot the Clawshot at a target, and was pulled over to the other, non-collapsed side of the staircase. Repide was holding tightly. They couldn't go very far from here, though, so Sun had to Clawshot over to another target. Upon doing so, he found himself at what seemed to be the second floor. There were three doors this time - one with a blue symbol, one with a red, and one that just had an empty circle. Testing a theory, Sun put the green fragment in the circle. It fit perfectly. He now knew what he needed to do.

Ivory looked up at the clock tower. She stepped forward to the front of it. Her fingers trailing over the wood of the door then it's iron inlays. She looked behind her at the nodding elderly Pokemon. She pushed it open and klang followed her. Once far enough in the door slammed shut leaving her almost in pitch black. The sounds of gears shifting was heard before small lanterns gave light. The girl and her partner looked about in amazement at the iron work. Large mechanical peices holding everything together as they moved with impeccable syncronization. Ivory moved forward as klang shifted around her like a guard. There was a wall infront of her along with missing peices in it. A handle at the far side that seemed to be attached to nothing but a small chunk of floor. The gears were scattered about the room in piles, waiting to be put in place. With a soft smile and pat Ivory turned to her partner, "first puzzle"?

Sun had entered the room with the blue symbol. The words had said to him; If you be the Chosen of Winds, enter and attempt the Trial of Wisdom. Now, he was in a room with nine platforms suspended over a pitfall. There were two outcroppings - the one on the inner side of the room, which Sun was now standing on, and another on the opposite side, which had another door on it. As if out of nowhere, walls came down. They had holes in them, which Sun was able to use to find a route to the door. But he had seen it was locked, and he had a feeling that unlocking it had something to do with the weird hole in the floor in front of him and the symbol around it. Sun began to walk through the narrow maze... eventually coming across a part of the wall with a large pole held up on two latches. Sun took it down, and noticed it would be a perfect fit in the hole he had seen earlier. Returning, Sun stuck the pole in. He was surprised to see a powerful gale be unleashed from the symbol for a minute before hearing the door unlock. Following the path he had taken earlier, Sun entered the door. Walking in to the next room, he saw a similar room... but this time he could see the floor, and there was a ladder. In front of him was another hole and symbol, colored red, and a blue pole. sun tried placing the pole in the center of the symbol again, but nothing happened. Sun then saw a red pole across the room, with no way to get to it. Sun then remembered he had the Clawshot. Taking out his new favorite item, he shot it forwards. It grabbed the pole, and brought it back to him. Sun put the pole in the symbol, and a gale burst forth again. ...but the door at the other end of the room didn't open. Looking at the blue pole, he realized what the room's other trick was. Climbing down the ladder, he began to explore the lower area of the puzzle. Seeing a locked gate and a hole beside it just big enough to crawl through, he tested a theory. Sun went through the hole, arriving on the other side of the door. He saw a lever, and flicked it. The gate opened... just a little bit. Enough for Sun to use the Clawshot to grab the blue pole, and stick it in the middle of the blue symbol. The gate fully opened up, and the door on the other side unlocked. Entering the door, Sun saw a kneeling statue holding out a blue fragment. He took the fragment, and returned to the center room. Repide was waiting at the red door. Touching it, Sun saw words appear, just as it had for each other Trial. If you be the Chosen of Winds, enter and attempt the Trial of Power. Sun did, Repide by his side.

They entered the room. It was tall - very tall. And the only door was the one they had just come from, which was now locked. The two looked around, seeing nothing. But something watched them... from above. Looking up, Sun noticed it... just in time for it to fly into the middle of the room and screech.
Cyclone Serpent
LEVITUS
Sun saw the thing that looked like a fusion between a Seviper and an Altaria fly towards them. The heroes dodged, letting the snake hit the ground. "Now, Repide!' Seeing an opening, Repide jumped onto the beast and biting it with all it had. Levitus shook it off, flying in a circle fast enough to create a gale. Now it was playing it safe, not coming to them unless it had to. Why not force its approach? Sun thought, taking out his Clawshot. He fired towards Levitus, pulling it to the ground. Repide attacked again, but the beast shook it off. Levitus began spinning extremely fast, and when Sun tried to Clawshot him he was slammed into the wall. But Sun wouldn't give up, so he tugged Levitus to the ground where Repide finished him off. Levitus flew into the air briefly before exploding into wind. The red fragment slowly drifted to the ground, where Sun picked it up. Returning to the main room, he slotted in the last two fragments. The door opened, revealing a staircase up to the top of the tower. Sun journeyed on.

With the help of klang, Ivory put all of the proper gears back before she pulled the handle. The was a soft clicking noise before she was lurched forward a little bit. The part in the floor moving up as a space into the ceiling opened. Once there she looked about to see the new puzzle. The floor was tiled with a strip on each side of the tool that was not. ivpry stepped out onto the side platform and almost jumped when the ceiling opened up a little bit and giant clockwork chest pieces fell into place. Another set of gold colour fell opposite to her silver and a commanding figure fell opposite to her, "you want to play a game"?

Lucas stumbled back into Bell's infirmary later that day, too distracted by the ghost of Nyne's words to watch where he was going. He could believe that there was some kind of amulet hidden within the Great Tree at the center of the village. In fact, he didn't doubt it. But him, the chosen one of the Amulet of Nature himself? That was a little difficult for him to wrap his head around. She'd told him that he would need to retrieve the Amulet from inside the Great Tree. What he would need it for, Nyne had been vague about, but it wasn't like he could object. If these Pokémon were in danger and reluctant to talk about it, Lucas couldn't bring himself to refuse, even if they were mistaken in picking their Chosen.

"Luke?" Thorne asked quietly after the human faceplanted on his nest. Lyric had followed them here, but Bell, sensing the Fallens' disquiet, called the Petilil over to help her with a patient.

"Yeah, buddy. Just thinking," Lucas hummed in reply.

"What are you gonna do?"

"That's what I'm thinking about," Lucas said, smiling into the moss. "You know me; I'm not strong or anything, and the way Nyne was talking, it didn't sound like it's gonna be easy."

"You're not strong or really smart," Thorne added, and Lucas gave him a teasing glare. "But you're not a coward. I dunno what the Amulet does, but it sounds like the Pokémon here need someone able to use it. Whatever you do, I'll be with you."

Lucas nodded, a thoughtful look in his verdant eyes. "Alright, yeah. Let's do it. Did Nyne say when?"

Flynn was waiting outside the temple for Sun and Repide to return... when he saw Estelle run up. "Estellise? What are you doing here?"
"The Trial Grounds are open!" Estelle replied. "Karol told me. He told me that you, Sun and Repide left in this direction. And now the Grounds are open. Sun's the Chosen, isn't he?"
"Well, yes-"
"I'm going to help him!"
"NO!" Flynn dashed forwards, blocking the way forward. "Estelle, no. I allowed Repide in because he is Sun's close friend and partner."
"So am I!" Estelle said.
"But you're not strong enough to take on the Trials!" Flynn said. "You're my sister. I won't allow you hurt for-"
"No, I've already made up my mind! I'm going in - whether you want me to or not!" Estelle pushed Flynn to the side, dashing in.
"ESTELLE!" Flynn cried, but he couldn't stop her anymore. She had gone in after Sun.

The door had lead to a staircase, which led to the third floor... or would have, at the very least. The third floor had been left unfinished, and nothing was there except for a few deteriorating supports, some rubble... and a podium that held forth an amulet. The grey object shone. Sun approached the object... but then it flashed. Sun and Repide stepped back, as the amulet floated in the air... and wind gathered around it. A powerful breeze picked up, but Sun and Repide could brace themselves. A powerful hurricane erupted around the floor. It seemed as if they were in the eye, as the wind picked up only slightly. The valleys they had been able to see earlier were now struck from view by the powerful gale.
Then visible winds blew around the amulet, forming something. Something with two arms, two legs, a head, a torso, and a powerful long-sword.
The Titan had awakened.

Flynn was blown back by the sudden wind, but stabilized himself and looked up. "The Final Trial...?"

A powerful knight made of wind, the amulet securely in the center, rose and stared at Sun. "You have proven your Courage. You have proven your Wisdom. You have proven your Power. But now... you shall be tested. Is your spirit strong enough to command the amulet, your mind sharp enough to use it? We will see here. You have come, Chosen... to your Final Trial."
Final Trial Keeper
Gale Titan
Sun quickly dashed out of the way of the first powerful strike. The trial seems to revolve around the amulet... If I can get it, that may be the way to end the trial! "Repide! Use Roar!" Upon Sun's command, the Pokemon let out a powerful howl. It knocked the Titan off-balance, slightly destabilizing it. Sun dashed forwards, trying to grab it. The Titan summoned a small cyclone, sending Sun hurtling back. Sun fell to the ground, and tried to get back up... but saw the Titan jabbing towards him. He couldn't dodge, so he braced himself for the pain...
...that never came.
Opening his eyes, he saw Estelle standing in front of him. She had Protected him. Using Psychic, she turned the barrier into a javelin and stabbed at the Titan. It jumped back, ready for the new opponent.
"Estelle?!"
"Sorry I'm late, Sun." Estelle said, naively.
"Well, I guess it doesn't matter why you're here. Just that you are." Sun said, tightening his Trillby cap. "I have a battle plan, but I'll need the help of you both to get it done."
The Titan began to rush forwards again, but Repide threw it off balance with a Roar. Estelle then used Psychic to draw the amulet out from its chest. She pulled it out to the front of its torso... but couldn't pull it any farther. "I... can't... hold it!" she said.
"I'll take it from here, Estelle!" Sun took out the Clawshot, and shot it forwards. It gripped the amulet perfectly, and Sun tugged it out of the chest of the Titan. "Game over, Titan. I win the Trial!" The Titan wasn't finished yet, it seemed. It dashed towards Sun, sword unhinged. Sun threw the amulet around his neck... and it began to glow.
My power runs on your will, your conviction. Is your spirit strong enough to wield me? a strange voice said. Only Sun heard it, and it seemed to be coming from the amulet.
"Yes." Sun said. He swung his hand forward... and the Titan vanished. Sun then did the same thing again, but in a wide circle. The cyclone dissipated. Sun and Estelle clapped hands, happy they had won. Sun also pet Repide a lot, and he was a happy dog.
"So... we beat the Trial! What next?" Repide asked.
"You know what, Repide?" Sun responded. "I'm not really sure. Maybe Flynn will know what to do next..."

I have made the right choice in my Chosen. If my siblings have found great Chosen as well, then perhaps we will be able to stop him after all...

Ivory took a deep breath as she steadied herself. The commanding clockwork oppenent still watching her every more. Suddenly it raised a hand and called its first move to which ivory followed in example. The two competitors in the game dancing their moves around eachother before finally one stepped out victorious. Ivory rose her head and walked into the battle feild, making her way past the peices as they were piled back into the room. Klang following her loyally.
