Description:
If you've played Pokemon, have you ever wondered what goes on in the box? Ever wonder what shenanigans your Pokemon get up to? That is what this roleplay is about. This is a super open-ended roleplay. There's no over-arching plot. Sure, there will be small mini-plots and goals and such, but if you like to go on a big quest, this isn't a roleplay for you. We'll mostly hang out and do random nonsensical things, fall in love, or eat bagels or something I don't know. If that sounds interesting, then sign up! It'll be fun!

Main Idea: have fun and do strange stuff

  3. We'll make rules along the way

Character Bio
Fill out whatever bio you want, seriously, do that. You don't need anything besides a name, a gender and the species of Pokemon (All though having more info is better.)

Maybe try using a lesser-known Pokemon, or an unpopular one. Starter pokemon are allowed but they are probably really bad at everything if they are in the box.

MOST IMPORTANT RULE: have fun :D

To travel to any place, you must travel through Hyperspace!

Hyperspace - A strange dimension that makes up the box. One must travel through hyperspace to reach their destination of choice.
Homely Fields - A vast grassy field, covered in nice flowers.
PokeMall - A field of nothing but concrete. There's only a small poke center there. There are signs everywhere that say "Land available for Shop". Looks like this place might expand over time...

Name: Olivia
Species: Mightyena
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: The mean personality that other Pokémon often associate Mightyena with doesn't apply to Olivia. She is a warmhearted, fun bundle of fur. She loves hanging out with friends and will protect them from douche bags that don't know their place. She hates when people are a little scared or a little intimidated by her when they first meet her.
Appearance: The black fur is a little more washed out than any other Mightyena's, getting a dark grey colour. Her eyebrows are a little more thin and her claws aren't as sharp. Since she was usually used in the cold mountains she wears a thick purple hoodie with magenta coloured fur on the hood.
Other: She was booted from the team temporarily, but then was forgotten in the box

Name: Chicken
Gender: Male
Species: Scorbunny

Personality: Pretty cocky and competitive, but he's not mean. He doesn't like losing, and will hate himself and force himself to train if he does. Chicken hates when people make fun of his name, even though it is a little strange.

Appearance: Chicken is a fairly average Scorbunny in terms of his size and weight. He also doesn't wear anything like clothing or anything like that.

Other: He was boxed because he didn't follow his trainer's orders.

EDIT: You can suggest ideas for places, or they will appear based on stories. You could also open shops or whatever. To travel to places, you must use a transportation device to travel through hyperspace. The device has a small cooldown.

The box is like the box in the game sort of. It's like a pocket dimension or something that you stick your pokemon in. So basically a universe seperate from the actual universe with strange properties if that's not too confusing to you.

I dunno, maybe the Pokemon are from different trainers in different boxes but they all link. You would still only be able to withdraw and deposit your own pokemon though.

Edit because I just came up with this idea: The company that made the boxes was too lazy to make mini box dimensions for every single Pokemon Center Box, so they made one big pocket dimension. That's what allows for trainers to use the Box link in Sword/Shield I guess.

Weight: 14.5 lbs | 6.58 kg
Ability: Telepathy (The Pokémon reads an ally's mind and avoids their attacks if it targets them, intentionally or not.)
Appearance: Ethan is your normal and everyday Elgyem. He does not have much physical or other odd features that make him stand out. He wears a small, cadet blue lab coat that has an insignia of a black and white shield on the back. He sports on a gray beanie with the same symbol on the lab coat that is located on the frontal, center area of the beanie. He wears safety goggles when battling, though he usually keeps them up on the location of his beanie when out of the field of combat.
Personality: Ethan was described from an officer in Aloha to be a cunning and composed Pokémon. He shows strong, passive signs of defiance when faced with almost any authority figures of any kind. He tends to beat around the bush when faced with personal questions, though it usually backfires and ends up having the little Pokémon facing more than what he could already handle to begin with. He does not like to interact as much with others both verbally and telepathically.
Other: Although his past is currently unknown at the moment, it might be revealed in the roleplay if something prompts that.

Personality: A big softie, and also pretty... uhm... moronic. Just kind of exists and usually doesn't cause any problems.

Appearance: A big and floofy wooloo, of course.

Other: Was boxed because she will not battle under any circumstance.

Personality: Insecure (she sucks at battling so yeah... she can’t do much), friendly (unless she is sucking the life force from you), protective of people she cares about

Appearance: She has a purple and green flame and green eyes.

Other: No one ever bothered to name her, so she doesn’t really think she is worth naming.
She also threatens to suck the life energy from you if your messing with her (unsure if she would actually do it though)

Gender: Female

Species: Sylveon

Personality: Optimistic, and fun loving, treating life and battles like games. Extremely hyperactive, and has trouble staying still. She is also a total tease around any male pokemon.

Appearance: Normal but with a purple locket around her neck

Other: She uses her ribbons to steal snacks from her trainers pocket. She also becomes even more bouncy whenever she encounters something she thinks is cute. (Just about everything.)

Name: Scruff

Gender: Male

Species: Rockruff

Personality: Scruff is innocent and fun loving, and enjoys meeting new people. He tries his best at everything, but fails at a lot of it due to his age. He gets scared easily though, and will rush over to the nearest person he feels like he can trust when scared. He has a very small attention span.

Appearance: A VERY small Rockruff. He’s gonna grow eventually, but he was only just hatched before being Wonder Traded, then stuck in a pc.

Other: Scruff is a baby Rockruff. Because of this he stumbles and fall when he tries moving a lot. His parents were a Jolteon and Lycanroc, so he is very affectionate towards Eeveelutions. He was acquired from a wonder trade, but his new trainer didn’t add him to the team cause he would probably be knocked out in one hit.

Name: Edith ( Sometimes referred to as Ma, by the younger members of her team)
Gender: Female
Species: Unfezant

Personality: Motherly, and kind but firm (kinda like Mary Poppins). She's good at giving advice, and enjoys watching over younger Pokémon.

Appearance: A slightly elderly looking Unfezant. Her feathers are a lighter grey than usual.

Backstory: Edith was caught as a Tranquil by her first trainer, who was a wanna-be shiny hunter, and she was left briefly in the day care. After only one egg, her trainer gave up and wonder-traded her before it could hatch. This left her quite upset, but her new trainer, a kid, just starting out was ecstatic to have such a strong (comparitively) Pokémon! She got over her sadness, by becoming a sort of mother figure for the still very young at the time, members of the team, some even calling her ma. She stayed with her trainer for a while, and their team even challenged the elite four after a few years. This brings us to the present. Worrying she's too old to continue battling, Edith's trainer, has decided to leave her in the box so she can retire, whilst he goes off to the battle frontier. Edith, will miss her family, whilst they're gone, but is looking forward to retirement!
