Ow! Why was this happening? He had never done anything to harm these, people, right?

If that was the case, then why were they harming him?

Who were these people, anyway? They didn't tell him their name or goals or why he was here in the first place. Was he being used for something?

What was that something?

His head pounded as Isis squirmed on the table he was strapped to. Looking around, he realized that he was not alone. He must have been knocked out in order to be transported here, because he did not remember coming to this place, let alone allowing himself to be locked to this table. Some others seemed to just be waking up, too. They were all strapped to identical tables.

Well, this wasn't the best layout, huh?

Then again, his thoughts were proven wrong as the scientist that stood by the foot of his bed leaned over to another scientist she was standing next to, whispering something. Ah, so they were sharing notes, were they?

About what, exactly?

"WHAT'S HAPPENING!?" Isis screeched, undoubtedly heard by the other Pokemon, even though all the Team Flare members heard was "Ruff, Rufflet!? Let!?" He wanted out of this place, and fast.

(OOC: Next post will be where things start to happen. ;) And no, the male pronouns are not typos.)

Ari's eyes flew open. Her paws were strapped down to the table, along with having a strap around her torso. The Lucario tried to somehow get free, but the straps wouldn't budge. She tried to summon an Aura Sphere, a Metal Claw, something to get herself loose, but nothing would come. Apparently, her restraints were imbued with something to keep her from using moves. Ari heard the Rufflet next to her screech. "How on Arceus's green Earth did I get in this situation?!" She exclaimed. She tried to rip herself free or break the straps somehow, but nothing would work.

Ahimsa looked at the predicament he was in and sighed. "I knew this would happen..." Ahimsa said softly. He didn't try to get free, but he just tried to get comfortable. He looked over and saw the other Pokemon. "Top of the morning to you." He said kindly.

Flicker looked around, his breathing quickened as he realized he was definitely not in that one town anymore.. Those men n the odd clothing, they must've grabbed him from the ground, but for what reason?

The shouts of others quickly roused him to his senses. He looked around, it seems others were chained down, locked in a cage, or something else. Seemed to depend on what they were or how tall they were. They had ended up just like him, grabbed and gone. Maybe some of them put up a better fight than him.

Flicker laid down, waiting for the scientist people things to come back. Maybe it'll be interesting..

Nevi opened her eyes. As she did, a Rufflet screeched. Closing her eyes again, she tried to take in everything around her. What's going on? Why am I here? I can hear other Pokémon. Surely, there's something going on. Nevi made no attempt to try to release herself from the chains, knowing other Pokémon must have tried it. This is just a bad dream, the Riolu continued to think, as two scientists seemed to hover around the Pokémon. "Ah, might was well just wait..." she whispered to herself out loud.

Grey was strapped to a table. His skin was not the the royal blue it use to be. Grey saw that his tongue was electric blue instead of pink. What the hell happened to me! Grey mentally cursued. He tried to loosen his binds.

Thorne's eyes darted open, scanning the room quickly. He saw people in suits, like the ones before. The ones who attacked his village. Upon seeing him, his blood boiled. His eyes found their way to other Pokemon on tables identical to his, save for the size of the tables. "Let me out of here!" The Umbreon demanded. He opened his mouth, attempting to use a Shadow Ball, though it failed. *Dark Pulse? No. Iron Tail? No. Why isn't anything working?* Thorne thought to himself. He decided to struggle against the restraints, but to no avail. "What do you want with us?!" He demanded.

Ari remembered seeing the people in the weird orange suits and odd sunglasses attack her Trainer. She realized that these people wore the same uniform. The Lucario growled. Had these jerks done something similar to Aspen?! Ari pictured her Trainer, terrified and strapped down to one of these tables. The sunglasses people were poking her and doing all sorts of things. Ari shook herself out of the nightmare that she had imagined. Aspen was a trooper; there was no way she had gotten captured. It just didn't fit.

Taub was starting to wake up too. First of all, he recover his sense of hearing. There was a lot of noise; other Pokemon shouting disconsolately and some humans, stepping. The sound of his shoes walking in the floor was unmistakable. Then, he could open his eyes. "What the...?" he said. The first thing he saw was a brilliant light pointing to him. He instantly closed his eyes. He turned his head and opened them again. He noticed that he couldn't move freely, although he could move it, slightly. He felt something around his body. Some stripes. Of course he could not move. They were tight; very tight. Then, he explored his surroundings with his sight. Another Pokemon were in the same situation that he was; and some humans with red suits and glasses going around. "Well... What do you remember... I was in my tree, sleeping nicely and... Nothing. How did I end here?". Taub thought, trying to order his memories. But he was feeling too weak; too confused for doing nothing. He closed his eyes again, and became unconscious, hoping that this experience was just a bad dream.

Ahimsa saw the men come in again, and snarled at their arrival. Those men are monsters... He thought, glaring at the orange-clad men, while they began to check up on their "experiments." He looked over at the Pokemon beside him. It was a Lucario, and it was growling. He leaned over and whispered to it. "It's fine. I'm sure we'll be fine." He whispered softly.

Without any sense of any word, Flora was trapped in a cage and wasn't feeling fine. She couldn't float without her sitting on her flower, well she was sitting on it in her cage, but she was worried about her right eye. It is blind, very blind. She only uses her left eye to see, and her right eye for... nothing. It was sooo terrifying.

Taub was still unconscious, but he could still feel. It was... Strange. He could feel and hear; but was not able to see or move. He felt some of those humans taking him; although he couldn't see where. Next thing he felt was some punctures and some weird noises; very strong. Maybe it took about a couple of hours; but he managed to wake up.
This time was in a birdcage. not very big, but enough for him to move with some "freedom". He woke up, opening his eyes immediately. He saw one of those humans there, standing next to him. But this time they were not wearing those orange suits. They were still orange, slightly, but browner. It looked weird for him. Then, he started to cough a little, and stood up slowly. He felt no fresh air; weird. He looked to the bars of his cage, they were getting close to him. The man that was in front of him went away. "Hey! What have you done to me!". Obviously, the human could not understand him, just hearing "Staaar! Rap! Staraaaptor!". He didn't looked back to him. Then, he saw other Pokemon looking at him. "Hey?! Why are you looking at me in that way? Never seen an Staraptor?!" Taub said angrily, almost aggressive. This reaction was anormal for him. He started to feel more and more distressed. He coughed again, closed his eyes and tried to be more relaxed.

Isis seemed to ignore the other Pokemon, since none of them had the answers he was looking for, as he struggled against his binds. How had he gotten into this mess in the first place? Was he simply snatched out of the air and knocked unconscious? That seemed to be the most logical solution, but he knew he wouldn't rest until he figured out this place's true motives.

The scientist standing at the foot of his bed leaned down to get a closer look at Isis's body, and the Rufflet couldn't help but squirm even more. He didn't like the look he knew she was giving him through her orange shades, and he felt violated. Were those shades even proper lab equipment? Isis had no clue, so he kept quiet as he stared up to the lady. "Good boy," she cooed to the Eaglet Pokemon, standing up straight once again. "When this is all over, you'll be so strong! You'll help so many people!"

Something was most definitely off about this woman, Isis thought as his struggling subsided so he could glare up to her through narrowed eyes. The infliction in her voice as she talked about 'helping so many people," was not a pleasant one.

It was as if she meant he would be used for the exact opposite.

With a new edginess toward this place and these scientists, Isis turned to his side to look at the Lucario beside him. "Do you have any idea what they're gon-"

"READY?" a scientist from behind him yelled to his colleagues, who all seemed to nod in unison. If only they had been in a marching band or something. They'd be perfect for that.

But no. Why would they be in a band if they could be scientists for a seemingly secret organization?

Each scientist grabbed wires and tubes from a desk next to them, attaching the wires to the faces and chests of the Pokemon, including Isis, who struggled once more.

"Whoa there, friend!" the female scientist exclaimed, pulling a wire away from the Rufflet's chest, "you need to stay calm so I can do this!"

Yeah, as if, Isis thought to himself, rolling his eyes.

The scientist seemed to notice the motion, because she stuck her free hand over his forehead so he was completely unable to move, attached the wire, and stood up once again.

Darn these huma-hhh.

A mask had been placed over his beak, forcing Isis to breathe in whatever it contained. For all he knew, it could be a drug, but whatever it was was making him very drowsy. He could feel his eyelids begin to droop and he did his best to stay awake-

-to no avail.

The sleeping gas did its job a bit too well as Isis fell asleep, the faint sound of a steady beep! beep! beep! fading with every second he was still conscious.

The scientist put a mask of her own over her face, as most doctors and such do, and began to grab some tools from the table as the other scientists did the same to their own unconscious specimens.

"Commence Test Batch Number One!" the male from behind ordered, his own mask covering his nose and mouth as he hovered over a Pokemon.

"Here's to hoping this works," the female mumbled to herself, although she had turned to the scientist standing next to her, as she leaned closer to the Rufflet.

And with that, the experiment began.

Ari could feel her consciousness slipping. If she could just hang on for a little longer...The scientist that was by her table cranked up the gas, causing the gas to fill Ari's lungs. Her eyelids dropped like a rock, and her head drooped onto her shoulder. Ari was out like a light. Her scientist noticed that the Lucario's breathing was a bit shallow. But it was no matter; probably just pressure setting in. After all, it was the first experiment.

Thorne tried to resist the scientists, more out of fear and wanting to run than anything else. Eventually, however, one of the scientists put a small mask on the Umbreon, and Thorne began to feel drowsy. His vision started to dim, before finally going out.

Ahimsa sighed. "Why must there be so much violence?" He said, frowning, as the scientists came over with a suspicious-looking mask. The mask was put on him, and the gas was released. Since he was a strong Pokemon, he held on for a while, as the scientists frowned. "He's tough. Turn it up." One of the scientists said, as one of his colleagues nodded, and turned a dial up. As the gas became stronger, Ahimsa felt light-headed. "Ugh..." He said, coughing. He fell unconscious.

Flicker shivered as he watched the other pokemon fall asleep, some fell easy, some took a bit longer. "Were they.... Dead? Couldnt be, there wouldnt have been a point in capturing them then, So they must be-" Flicker was interrupted as he heard the door to his cage swing open, the white coats were back it seems. Quickly, they attached some sort of mask to his face, as he heard the sound of a machine start up, he easily fell to the gas.

Nevi snapped out of her calm mood and attempted to kick at the scientists in a frenzy. Yet, they didn't seem to care about her attempts to escape and just smiled in an odd way. It strangely seemed menacing, was it intended to be? Before being able to call out for help, just like the others, gas began to shroud her and she fell down, unconscious.

Flear was not saying anything, she was in pane from the table stretching her out.She looked at the rufflet and looked away.

(OOC: @EeveeBestPokemon, have you been reading the previous posts? We all just got knocked unconscious... and we're all strapped to tables, mate.)

BIC:
It felt like he had only been asleep for around five minutes or so before the Rufflet's eyes fluttered open, greeted by the sight of the lady from before hovering over his small form yet again, tools in hand and a mask covering her lower face, goggles over her eyes, just incase. Isis couldn't feel anything except for a slight soreness in his upper left wing, where he assumed some form of numbing solution had been injected. He wasn't quite sure exactly what was going on, so he mustered the strength to raise his head just high enough to get a look at the rest of his body.

He instantly dropped his head back onto the table.

What exactly was going on, Isis wasn't sure, but he did see multiple needles intruding through various spots of his stomach, chest, legs, and wings, and even the thought of this made him feel sick to his stomach. Squeezing his eyes shut as tightly as they would go, the Normal/Flying-type began to take deep breaths, attempting to keep himself calm. Why were they doing this? What was being inserted into him? Did he want to know?

The answer was no, he really didn't.

Isis began to grow antsy, squirming around in his binds, beak clenched shut as tight as his eyes, if not tighter, as he waited for this process to be complete. A voice seemed to be talking to him, but it sounded distant and fuzzy. Who could that be? He strained his ear muscles in a vain attempt to make out the voice's words.

He caught the following: "calm... be okay... shh... it's alright... squirm...ing..."

Popping an eye open reluctantly, the Rufflet realized that it was the scientist talking to him. Ah, so she must've been telling him to calm down, to stop squirming.

As if he would listen to her.

His eyes were once again glued shut by himself, but soon after, his beak was forced open, something poured in through a small syringe, forcing him to swallow whatever that liquid was. Once he did, his eyelids began to grow heavy again, his brain losing focus on whatever the scientist was saying...

...for a brief moment.

It all seemed to happen very quickly. At first, Isis was just milliseconds away from falling asleep for a second time, but then he suddenly felt wide awake and very... strong? He glared up to the scientist with wide eyes, who had backed away from the Eaglet Pokemon in surprise and slight fear, although she tried to hide this feeling. The Rufflet attempted to spread his wings, still numb from the solution and unable to feel the injections in his body, and the feeling of snapping leather sent a wave of satisfaction through him. His feet were up next, quickly vanquished with a kick or two. Pulling each needle out of his body, not caring whether he was bleeding or the liquids inside each metal object were now seeping out, Isis cawed to the scientist, who how ducked behind the male that stood next to her. Again, he tried to flap his wings...

...but this time, it only hurt to do so.

Whatever was forced down his throat must have given him temporary strength, Isis assumed, walking over to the edge of the table he now stood on. If this was the case, though, why did his wings hurt so badly? Was it because of that stuff, too? At this moment, he couldn't care less.

All he wanted was revenge.

For a short moment, he looked down the row of Pokemon laying next to him, a smirk growing on his beak as he noticed some of them also beginning to break their bonds. Bouncing from foot to foot, Isis shot a Wing Attack at both the scientists standing closest to him, only to double over in pain shortly after. What was wrong with his wings!?

The female scientist continued to cower as the male rushed out of the attack's path, letting her get hit full force and fall back to the floor.

An alarm began to sound throughout the entire building, warning its inhabitants of the hostile experiment in Lab #3. Isis just scoffed and tried to stand up straight again, not using his wings for anything...

...he still felt an odd difference, though- one he couldn't explain.

With his main concerns temporarily occupied, Isis looked down to his body once again. Sure, he was bleeding, but it was mild and pushed out of his mind so he could take in the rest of his features. His legs were now a darker brown color, and his feathers looked lighter.

Without thinking about this too much, the Rufflet hopped to the head of his bed, ready to fire another attack while he, hopefully, waited for some backup from the other Pokemon in the room.

Nevi opened her eyes. She couldn't tell what had happened, it was as if her life had just begun. A siren rang in her field of hearing- which was quite large. Feeling a rush of strength and willpower, she was able to get up, but then felt as if she should continue laying down on the floor. I can't see. She thought this to herself for a bit, then her vision cleared up- only a bit, of course. She could see her own red fur, not having the memories of it being blue, even though it was only a while ago. Getting her more dominant senses into action, she rushed out of the room, going nearby the Rufflet.

Ahimsa woke to a commotion. "Oh dear... What's going on now..." He sighed, softly. He broke out of the chair effortlessly and saw a Rufflet attacking the scientists. She then saw a small red Riolu run up. He walked over, and looked down at the two Pokemon. "What is happening?"Ahimsa asked, softly, not trying to anger the two Pokemon.

Flear looked up and saw a sientist. He wore goggles and something over his mouth. She looked away trying not to feel the pain. She was horrified to death.

The gas had taken Thorne out for a long time, As his eyes fluttered open, he saw several Pokemon breaking free of their bonds. Considering they were all trapped so easily earlier, it seemed an unlikely occurrence, until he felt it, too. His blood was pumping, he felt feelings that he knew of, but never truly experienced. Anger. The need for revenge. With almost no effort, the Umbreon snapped his bonds. He bit at the cords and needles attached to him, ignoring any pain it may have brought him. Right now, his adrenaline from pure rage kept him going. He ripped them out, ignoring the blood dripping from the wounds. He had no idea how much time had passed, but right now, he didn't care.

As Thorne stood up on his table, he glanced over at a Rowlett, followed by two other Pokemon. The Dark-Type dropped down from the table, and made his way over to the three. "Alright, we're free. What do we do now?"

Taub heard something. An... An alarm? Then, Taub opened his eyes. He was still in that birdcage, feeling weird, confused. He could hear something near him. Some humans shouting, some Pokemon screaming... "Hey?! Anyone there? I am *cough* trapped here!" Taub shouted, but with all that noise, nobody heard him. He felt weakened, yet still something inside him caused him to went mad; angry, raged. He focused on the bars that, at least for Taub, threatened to enclose him even more. With all his strength, he charged against them. The birdcage moved, but not enough to fall to the ground. Taub coughed and charged again, benefiting, this time, with the impulse of the cage. This time, the birdcage fell, but Taub get injured too. He was bleeding from some wound points that opened after his charge, he felt kinda dizzy, and it looked like the wing he used in the charge ached. What is happening to me? Thought immediately.
He saw that there was a lock in it. He decided to use his beak, trying to open it. He failed several times. He touched his beak; it was crooked. Why? Oh, damn humans... When I put my feathers on them, they'll pay for it. He could try to open again the lock, but he decided to push from within and go to another room, hoping that no human could see him. "Hey! I'm here! I need help!" Taub said, between coughs, while he reached the room where the others were.

Flear broke free, she didn't care if blood was dripping out of the cords attached to her waist. She attacked the sientist and tried to run out of room.

Thorne's ears pricked at hearing another's cry for help. The Umbreon got in a crouch, and proceeded to stealthily follow the noises. As Throen peered in to the room he heard the cries from, he also saw a scientist approaching the cage. "Finally." He muttered. A chance to make the scientists feel pain. Thorne dashed to the scientist, and hit him in the back with a Dark Pulse, knocking him out cold. He walked to the front of the cage, and used an Iron Tail attack on it, breaking the lock. "Are you alright?"

Flear was weakened, she looked over at Thorne and walked to her.She didn't know what to say.Flear was a bit bloody sense she broke from the cords. The sientists grabbed her by the waist and tried to set her down again. They put bandeges around her waist to cover the blood and put her in a cage. She struggled to get out and called for help,"I'm worthless."She said,"Why would a trainer even want me?"She asked herself.

Kimman rubbed her eyes and looked around. "Oh, this won't do at all..." She sighed, looking herself up and down. Ugh, why are my ribbons so long... She thought, cleaning off her ribbons. She got up off the table, and looked around, cleaning herself all over. She looked up and saw an Umbreon over at a cage. Good place to start as any. Kimman though, walking up to the Umbreon. "Hello. Do have any idea what is happening?" She asked, softly, licking her left leg.

Nevi listened to the calamity inside. The voices of the other Pokémon were beginning to be cut out by the blaring alarm, which began to seem to ring softer and softer. Blindly rushing in, the Riolu tried to locate the Fennekin, but with each step she took, the world seemed to get farther away. It all seemed like a dark void at this point. Nonetheless, she focused on the noise and made her way to the Fennekin, surprisingly. Everything cleared up, rather, lightly cleared up. Nevi could see the Fennekin now- but the fire-type was still hard to see. "I could help." She began to ready an attack, hoping to bend the cage enough for Flear to escape. Firing a powerful Blaze Kick at the bars of the cage, they mended, creating an opening. "Are you alright?" Nevi asked Flear once the cage was open.

"You can take those off later," staring down at the floor, which seemed like a blurry mixture of tiles, Nevi spoke once-more. "There's quite a lot of us here, isn't there?" she murmured softly, almost as if she was talking to herself. "Together, we can make it out of here." The lights began to flicker for a moment, and the room became dimmer. "Obviously, this place is huge. We'll have to navigate together." Nevi tried to look for the other Pokémon, but her vision failed on her. I'll just have to use my other senses..

(Since I'm the itsy bit late, please excuse me going back in time to a few moments.)

Lily
There were Pokémon in this room of anticipation. There was fear, hopelessness.. power. The concoction snarled in the Pokémon's faces, and refused to let its binding let them out of their bondage.

"Lily!"

Two bright orbs of yellow snapped open with a dismembered grunt that sounded otherworldly among the restless bodies of countless other Pokémon in the room. The Liepard, Lily, let out a short sneeze of discomfort and attempted to readjust herself and remove her aching back from the stiff plank of colored wood beneath her. Perhaps a table of some sort? Nonetheless, her attempts were futile and her senses were slowly returning to her. Did someone call her name? Her eyes were open, yet, she was blind for the moment. At least, if blind was completely white. However, her suspicions of being blind left her as she blinked, and white faded to black momentarily, then returned.

Straps of some sort held her prisoner against the table she was faced stomach up on, and her forelegs were limp on her stomach, where there again, another strap looped around her paws and connected to the one around her stomach. More were looped around her thighs. "What is this?" She mumbled aloud, closing her eyes to shield herself from the harmful rays of artificial light above her. Lily relaxed, forcing herself to breathe, just as her trainer taught her.

Despite all of this, a white scarf was still wrapped around Lily's neck, but that didn't bring too much comfort. 'Despite all of this, I'm still prisoner to humans. I don't have any freedom, but isn't this what captivity is like? My life was perfect up until this, why was it taken away?' She asked herself, but she did not give herself the relief of an answer.

Her hair stood on end as people, humans, began to enter the room, and Pokémon all around her screeched and burned with anger and fear. Lily didn't give the humans the liberty of success, and she remained quiet and still despite hearing the pained and fearful squirms of the kin she had right next to her. 'In this world, my friends, none of us have the right of freedom, and I was defiant against my trainer, I suppose this is a fitting end to my antics. Oh how I wish I had more time with her... the one who taught me so much..." Lily thought, already anticipating her end as the mysterious scientists loomed over her still body.

"Is this one dead?"

"I don think so. Her breathing is shallow, but that just makes it easier for us. Less painful for us mentally too, I'd imagine. Haha, since she's being so good, might as well praise her for it."

There were two scientists, but when one placed an icy cold hand on her back right paw, she suddenly got angry. Her eyes snapped open in rage and hissed wildly at the scientist, managing to extend her claws enough to draw blood from his hand. He cussed as Lily lost control of her breath. 'Don't you dare touch me you filthy being! That foot was healed many times by a gentle hand, and I don't want you ruining that!' She thought to herself.

The wounded scientist grabbed her tail and tugged on it roughly, causing her to let out a screech of discomfort. "Oi, was that necessary? Just knock her out already." The other scientist scolded.

Lily knew she done herself in when a mask was placed over her nose and she had to breathe in the mysterious, foul smelling particles that were in there. The world around her began to fade, and with an unwilling heart, she resisted the urge to slip into sleep and forget the events of the past minutes. Sweet release... maybe she can atone for her sins by letting it got black... and so she did.

To her dismay, Lily aroused once again at the sharp sounds of the Pokémon around her fighting with something. An odd sensation raced through her veins; fire burned in her eyes and heart as she recognized her incredible new strength. She realized that, even through her release had only felt like seconds, it must have been much longer that she was under the influence of the drug. The two scientists were gone, presumably running from the savages in the room, or at least she assumed that the other Pokémon had the same procedure done on them, so she would imagine that they all had quite the maniacal sensation roaring at them. With a start, she noticed her precious yellow fur had dirtied into a deep black, and her luscious purple to an icy blue.

"What."

Only one word could escape her mouth as she teared up in slight fear of what was happening to her. With a brave shake of her head, and anger boiling through her, Lily twisted to the side and broke her bonds with fair simplicity. However, she could only manage a sitting position; her hind legs. What was wrong with her hind legs? They didn't respond in the slightest to any movement- especially upwards. With a quick moment of intelligent thinking, she thrusted her elbow beneath the soft part of her lower belly and forced her lower back up with the upwards motion of her front legs. She then took a brief second to stare at her surroundings.

A Rufflet, members of the Lucario Line, and Umbreon and Leafeon.... countless others were breaking free from their prison and none of them looked... normal.

On the table next to her laid a tiny, black and grey Vulpix who's eyes were plastered open in apparent fear. 'They worked upon a hatchling?" Lily thought in rage. The table was somewhat slippery, but she managed to run forwards and attempt to leap across to the table. Unfortunately, her hind legs prohibited that movement, and she ended up clawing herself up onto the ledge of the Vulpix's operating table. "Are you ok?" She asked, easily swiping the bonds away from the Vulpix's chest and legs, and gently nudging it to it's side and picking it up by its's scruff, protectively holding it close to her chest in order to quell it's shivering fear, it was then that she saw the dismembered, red tail laying strayed away on the table next to the kitten, and the Vulpix's was missing a tail.

Cinq
She wasn't given a name, however sad it might be. There was one Swanna in that dark cage that one night, who said her hope had diminished to Ashes, but it spread to her. Her name was Ashes, Ashes the Vulpix.

The cold, hard table was very uncomfortable, but she was unfortunately familiar with it. She had been pinned down before to be given shots for something. Mama Swanna said that they would poison her and make her die, but that was almost a week ago. She was still alive. However, despite her ability to open her eyes, Ashes refused to do so. The squealed pains of other Pokémon muffled all other sounds, and her terrified body continually shook on its own track.

She can't quite remember how long it was that she kept her eyes closed, but when the humans came in, Ashes remembered opening them to stare in the face of her captor. Her face was pretty and round, completely free of any signs of wrinkling, and her hands were kind and gentle. She spoke in the Vulpix's ear softly, but this all made her agitated. "Stop, stop. I don't like that." the kitten mewled in protest, trying to kick out against the woman. She giggled and placed a cold hand on her stomach.

"Don't worry little one" or something like that. Well she was helpful.

Ashes focused on the lights above her, listening to many other Pokémon cry out in protest and fear. The anticipation was so thick, you could cut it cleanly with a knife. Bright lights shone overhead brilliantly, just like the sun as Mama Swanna described it. But Mama Swanna was free now. She said that the last day when the humans took her out of that musty, dark cage. She was free and going to be with the rest of the Pokémon whose blood spilled and stained the stanched in that dark room. That's what she said.

Ashes bets she alright, living happily. Maybe she'll see her again sometime.

It was sudden, but violent screeche erputed all around her sensitive ears and the screams of pain and fear rang throughout the room as a small, clear mask was lowered on to her face. Ashes' eyes grew wide, and she mewled and squirmed against it, but her attempts ended in weariness and tiredness.

"Maybe this is where Mama Swanna went." She told herself, but the screams didn't help.

The world faded to black. The last thing she heard was the screams of terror.

Seconds later Ashes woke up, but there was a stinging agony at the base of his tail that coursed through his body every time his heart pumped, and he wanted it to stop. Tears welled up in this pain, and he was frozen in fear. The screams of agony repeated in his head incessantly, torturing his mind. But he couldn't hear anything else. The world was...

It was silent.

The bright red alarms that glowed in his face didn't make a sound. The Pokémon fighting around him didn't make noise despite their movement and mouths. It was strange, but his head repeated the sounds of despair. It was fairly sudden, but his table shook as a Liepard struggled to clamber her way to him. It was odd, as his paws were black, and his fur was grey, but the tears blurred his vision. Ashes, seconds later felt himself being freed from his bonds and the Liepard was picking him up. She was so warm... comforting... it seemed alright until he noticed a sliver of red to his right. He twisted his head curiously.

There, on the table, was a red Vulpix's tail. Ashes' tail.

He threw up.

((Please excuse Cinq's lack of detail, I tried to make it look as if it's actually his perspective, and since he's so young, I thought some details would be excluded from his brain. Also, for clarification, Ashes was a female Vulpix who was experimented on, but after the procedure, she became male and Lily will rename him Cinq after he is unable to express and say that his name is Ashes due to his deafness. I'm excited to role play with you guys!))

Thorne looked over another Pokemon approached him. A Sylveon, of all things. Normally, he'd be afraid of a Pokemon he didn't know, approaching him in a hostile environment, but, his adrenaline practically evaporated his fear at this point. "I know just about as much as everyone else. Something with these Scientists' plans went wrong, and we got free. I'd assume most of us are going to try and break out. Somehow."

Kimman nodded, then looked around the room with her deep purple eyes. She stretched out her body, and licked her right leg. "I suppose so. I guess we should start on our way, um... I haven't heard your name yet have I?" Kimman said softly, looking intently at the Umbreon, thinking, and waiting for him to give his name.

Flear tried to walk herself without bumping into anything. She bumped into a cage that really hurt. She heard voices from all around but didn't know what the voices came from.

The more Pokemon that broke free of their bonds, the more humans rushed over to stop them. Isis continued to fire attack after attack at each scientist that dared come close to her, unrelenting as she backed out of the room. "C'mon, everyone! We have to get out of here!" the tiny Rufflet called out to the other Pokemon, glancing behind her as she shot another Wing Attack to find a green warp pad on the floor. "This must be the way! Hurry!" Isis led the others, shooting one final attack at a man before divebombing head-first onto the pad, feeling her body whisk away into another room. As she warped, the alarms seemed to escalate in volume, so she wound up entering the next room with both a headache and a head-rush. She only hesitated for a split second before her attacks continued on the newfound humans, even before they were able to make a move. Isis led them away from the pad, allowing the others easier access into the room, as she knocked each scientist and grunt out one by one. "Backup! I need backup!" she cried as more humans entered the room, Pokemon of their own by their sides, but none of her colleagues had appeared yet. For now, she was on her own.

The humans in Lab #3 were nearly all knocked unconscious by this time, and since Isis was helping to fend off the incoming wave head-on, those still in the lab were able to prepare or even gather supplies before continuing onward. The Rufflet, however, secretly hoped they would assist her soon, as she could feel her PP quickly depleting with each defensive move she made.
