Private/Closed Stranded on an Island: OOC and Signups

Here you go! The Pokémon team isn't quite finished but this is all I have time for tonight so..

Name: Flint Everett
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Appearance: Flint isn’t the biggest guy going, standing at roughly 5ft 9. That being said he more than makes up for his stature with his impressive physique which he has gained due to years of exploring the deserts of Hoenn. Now I’m not saying the guy is bulging with muscle like a body builder but an onlooker could certainly tell he was muscular and that he was in shape. His skin has taken on a slightly darker coloration than that associated with those who reside in the Hoenn region again due to his desert lifestyle. He has a short shock of dark brown hair that is generally just left to be styled by the wind. Flint’s eyes have an almost honey like color to them and they are great at conveying how he is feeling. As for clothing Flint has always donned a dark orange jacket and grey shirt over a pair of kaki cargo trousers. As a reminder of his upbringing he still wears a bandanna imprinted with various symbols used by his people as well as a pair of GO goggle on his head, you know for the sand.
History: Born and raised by a nomadic tribe that wanders the deserts of Hoenn Flint has learnt to play by Mother Nature’s rules all his life. Unlike most of the tribe Flint had a sense of curiosity that just couldn’t be satisfied by his current lifestyle so at the tender age of 13 he left the tribe with his Pokémon and went to visit the nearest city, Mauville. After becoming accustomed to the luxuries of the lifestyle of an average Joe (This took about a month, toothpaste is a wonderful thing you know.) he met up with some travelling members of the Devon corporation and was quickly enlisted with them so that he could use his extensive knowledge of the land to help them in archeological digs. Today he still works for them as an archeologist which was actually the reason he was on the boat in the first place.
Personality: Flint is an outgoing and friendly guy whose driving characteristic is his curiosity. The young archeologist can’t help but keep exploring until he has found every single secret the world has to offer him. This has led to him being somewhat headstrong and a bit of a rule breaker but he would never do anything to harm a living creature on purpose. Well unless you were a threat to him or his friends of course.
Virtues: Great knowledge of all things geological and has what some might call a natural survivors instinct. As I mentioned earlier he is quite athletic and doesn’t struggle with any kind of physical task except swimming, so it’s a miracle he survived when you think about it.
Flaws: Oh boy here we go, due to Flint’s less than conventional upbringing he has a lot holes in his knowledge that most people would find a little odd. For example he is yet to figure out a toaster and prefers to toast his bread via fire. He also has subpar mathematics skills for the same reason. Other than this he has a fear of spiders and isn’t a very strong swimmer.

Name: Dogu
Species: Claydol
Age: Arceus knows, ancient.
Gender: nope.
History: Dogu was a gift to Flint, given to him by his father when he turned 5. Of course at the time Dogu was simply a Baltoy, dug up by one of the tribe elders at one of their many settlements.
Personality: Dogu is about as loyal as they come, the giant Pokémon has complete trust in its partner and will do anything asked of it by Flint. The Claydol isn’t as mindless as you may think either, it is fiercely defensive of those it considers allies and has bonded well with the rest of Flint’s Pokémon.

Name: Wati.

Species: Whiscash.

Age: 11 in human years.

Gender: Male.

History: The first Pokémon that Flint caught after leaving the desert, he came across Wati in a dried out pond as a Barboach after being hired by some locals to investigate the cause of the seismic activity they had been experiencing recently. The little Pokémon was obviously the cause, understandably the sudden lack of water in his little pond had been quite the scare for the little fella.

Personality: Wati basically is always in one of two states. The first one is his usual one, he is a derpy and slow fellow who is easy to love and even easier to get along with. The second takes a fair amount to actually see but basically something will snap inside the fish and he will become highly aggressive, but as I say this side doesn’t really come out much.

Name: Hula.

Species: Maractus.

Age: 6 in human years.

Gender: Female.

History: Hula was the only survivor of a vicious wildfire that Flint came across when he was 15 in Hoenn’s vast desert. When he found her she was severely burned but after weeks of care she managed to pull through. With nobody else to care for her Jake decided to take care of her himself and since then she has travelled everywhere with him.

Personality: Hula is blissfully unaware of most of her surroundings and will maintain a ridiculously positive outlook no matter how poor the circumstances. She never stops her little rhythmic movements and is basically the Pokémon equivalent of a hot chocolate with marshmallows. Sweet and a sure fire way to cheer you up.

Name: Strato

Species: Aurorus

Age: About 3.5 million technically but mentally about 26 in human years.

Gender: Female.

History: Strato was revived from the first fossil that Flint ever found and after a short and confusing period of time she became accustomed to her new life in the modern world. Devon allowed him to keep the prehistoric beast on the grounds that he would send them constant updates on how she adapted to her new life.

Personality: Strato is highly intelligent, more so than she has any real right to be. She is the mother figure in Flint’s team and is a gentle giant. That being said she is also one of his most powerful Pokémon and has seen him through many a battle.

Name: Skarite

Species: Skarmory

Age: 11 in human years.

Gender: Female.

History: Pretty simple stuff here, Flint saw a metal bird and thought “Hey that looks pretty cool.” Now she is a solid member of his team and is one of the most useful Pokémon he uses during work.

Personality: Skarite is cold and calculating and possess a real mean streak. The only think stopping her from being a rampant menace is the care of Strato who keeps her in line with stern looks and the occasional frost breath. She isn’t all bad though and respects what Flint says.

Name: Matilda

Species: Scrafty

Age: 18 in human years.

Gender: Female.

History: Matilda was actually owned by one of Flint’s ex-girlfriends but when she sadly passed away the Scrafty decided to stick with him rather than the girl’s family. Flint accepted her as one of his own and they quickly became quite close due to their shared love of the girl they had both known.

Personality: Matilda is cool, calm and collected. She rarely breaks her icy shell of composure but when she does its clear to see that there isn’t a mean bone in her body. She has long since come to terms with her first trainers passing but still upholds her morals.

@Nebula-Newt Alright! You're accepted! Fee; free to respond on the RP now. Hope you enjoy the RP. even though it would be a long read, I suggested reading through all the post because there is some important information in there. In you haven't already of course.

Hmm, I might consider introducing my other Pokémon character into the roleplay, which will be the last major character most likely here.

Umm, the only concern is the one that I just said in the private conversation here by the way. (Aside from the much bigger concern on the Pokémon's ability since it does have some slightly questionable power...)

Well, I am going to post after I put in my other character sheet since I am introducing a new Pokémon character here.

(Ps, he's going to be introduced near you.)

Unfortunately, it's not a Fakemon since @Silver-Solis prohibits them due to the rules here.

It's a real and official Pokémon, and I'm going to let you guess who he is while I am still putting together the character sheet for him.

Nope, it ain't a Magicarp. Here's your first hint at the Pokémon...

"This Pokémon is in the more recent generations, as the region that they were originally introduced is based off of an area where Queen Liliuokalani ruled until the United States annexed this area after the Spanish American War."

Hardly narrows it down.....its Hawaiian so it could be anything from 7th gen really, Minior, Mimikyu, Litten? Good thing I dont mind surprises really.

Well, I always start with vague hints first... and it's none of the above from what you said for the Pokémon.

Here's the second hint:

"This Pokémon has only one type, but in order to find its type, there are some numbers to be worked around with in order to make up the letters for the Pokémon's type."

"The numbers are: 18, 14, 15, 7, 1, 4. Turn these numbers into some letters, and then arrange them neatly to form the word that corresponds with the Pokémon's type."

Alright, now I have finally finished the character sheet for the Jangmo-o character! I have decided to put the two drafts of the abilities I had into something interesting for the Jangmo-o since they are both related. As stated from before, I will be introducing the character near @Nebula-Newt. Beware that his history is a bit dark though. Everything that I am mentioning on the Jangmo-o's character sheet is actually real in Pokémon world here; even the tranquilizer gun and linked attacks! (If there is any concerns or clarification needed; especially on his ability and the section on his Emotional Levels, please feel free to privately talk to me via conversation.)

Pokémon Character Information:
Name: His name is currently unknown.
Species: Jangmo-o
Age: His age is unknown, but he looks rather young.
Gender: Male
Skills: He is able to maneuver around for longer periods of time, as he is also adept in close quarters combat.
Ability: Emotional Oscillation (The Pokémon's stats will change based on the Pokémon's current Emotional Level. See below on the section of Emotional Levels for more information on this ability.)
History: Being a victim from a Team Skull raid that occurred months ago in his hometown of Seafolk Village, he had been taken by the police force after he had almost murdered a Team Skull grunt. Unfortunately, he ran off from the police after breaking free from Officer Jenny's strong grip. However, he soon collapsed from extreme exhaustion after being shot from a tranquilizer gun that Officer Jenny had on hand. He was taken to the hospital of Curaedium soon after, as the first thing that he saw when waking up was the hospital staff attempting to diagnose him for additional problems after finding out about his major anger issues. Alas, he attacked the hospital staff with a swift Dragon Tail when he saw one of the nurses preparing to insert medicine into a syringe. The rest of the staff in the room panicked, as screams and the pains of agony could be heard all over the area! Several rushing footsteps came by after a swift, urgent call was made, as three brawny security guards came in and restrained him with a dense grip. He was then calmed by an Audino, as the diagnosis was soon finished after he was pacified. He was discharged after the diagnosis was concluded, as he wandered around aimlessly; occasionally stopping by some berry bushes from time to time and eating some berries, along with having to ruthlessly battle other Pokémon sometimes. Eventually, after some months passed by, he had decided to go onto the ship of Businia because he wanted to forget about his dreadful past that. He went onto the ship by blending in along with the other Trainer's Pokémon unknowingly, so that the security guard would think that he was one of the Trainer's Pokémon.
Personality: He is one that is extremely hard to get along with, as he has no empathy for others; along with the fact that he is often ruthless towards others he despises. He can be very stubborn, especially towards the authority because he likes to have things his own way. He also has a minuscule temper, as he is prone to having episodes of infuriating rage rather easily. Although he may seem rather intimidating for his age, he can be beyond a friend if given proper time and sympathy.
Other: His name is etched in a foreign language on a silver anklet that is on his left leg.

Emotional Level Information:
Emotional Levels are what is used to describe how the Jangmo-o's emotions and mood are, as it can range from the levels of deep despair, to even the critical, unstable zone. It can also make Jangmo-o do better or worse in battle depending on the Emotional Level.

Despair: The lowest Emotional Level of them all. Jangmo-o will be most likely in tears, or even be seen cowering away from his foes in terror. He will do significantly worse in battle as his attack and special attack are dramatically reduced by three stages. His attacks will almost be guaranteed to miss and he becomes more vulnerable to his type weaknesses in addition to being more vulnerable to status problems.

Downcast: Jangmo-o can be normally seen sobbing or being rather paranoid around his surroundings. His combat performance will be substandard, as his attack and special attack are reduced by two stages. His attacks will miss more often and he will become more vulnerable to status problems.

Low: Jangmo-o will be having a slight feeling of sadness from most likely his memories or not having his way, as it can also be from having some tension. He will do slightly worse in battle, as his attack and special attack are reduced by one stage. In addition, his attacks may miss; even if he uses attacks that normally never miss.

Normal: The standard Emotional Level that Jangmo-o usually starts with in battle. He is content, as there are no stat changes whatsoever.

High: Jangmo-o's temper starts to rise, as his voice will become more louder and hostile towards others. His speed is increased by one stage, as he may start to disobey the Trainer's commands.

Volatile: Jangmo-o's fury is now more noticeable, as his eyes start to turn red; giving off the prominent sign of his anger. His speed stays only at one stage increased, though he is able to elude some projectile based attacks more easily now. His disobedience may start to become distinct at this point, as he may start to ruthlessly attack the target.

Unstable: The highest and dangerously critical Emotional Level that Jangmo-o can be in. He can often be seen yelling about at others, as extreme caution should always be taken care around him if he is in this state, because he will almost always attack anything in sight. His speed is increased by two stages now, as he is still able to elude some projectile based attacks more easily. In addition, he will sometimes execute linked attacks in combat. His disobedience towards Trainers will be immense, as he will almost always relentlessly attack the target; which may include friendly Pokémon if they get in his way.

Dont even know if your accepting or needing a new member but ill just leave this here.

Name: Levi Crowel
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall for his age standing at 6’1, athletic build, fair skin, short spiky dark brown hair the falls to the left with a streak of white in his bangs due to a birthmark. Black opened jacket with a white undershirt, dark blue fitted jeans, and black shoes white white trim.

While working with Oak he traveled from town to town collecting data as needed. After a year he was finally given a bigger assignment, to travel through Hoenn study the unique evolutionary traits of the Nincada line in its natural habitat. He spent over a year in Hoenn collecting data and challenging gyms as he went. After obtaining the information he needed Levi returned home to Kanto and decided to take the pokemon league challenge, which he tied in for first place against his close friend, Darrius. After deciding to continue his journey he left his position as co-champion behind and boarded a ship in hopes of new challenges. (This is where the rp starts)
Personality: Cool and calm normally, but the complete opposite during festivities. He gives of a friendly yet educated vibe when he speaks. Do to spending his life dedicated to training and researching pokemon, he can easily form strong bonds with them at a moment's notice. Kind and gentle yet stern and disciplined.
Virtues:
Strong sense of empathy- It is extremely easy for Levi to pick up on how someone is feeling and adapt to the situation as needed.
Intelligent- Although only 16 Levi has experience far above his years and is extremely knowledgable.
Great self control- Levi is able to keep calm in dire situations and assess the situation, this makes him a naturally skilled problem solver.
Flaws:
Cocky- As you would expect from a 16 year old league champion, Levi gives off an iota of cockiness all the time which will slowly increase if someone recognizes him from the league.
Short tempered- Levi can’t stand negative people and can quickly switch into an unempathic monster which in turn clouds his judgement.
Short attention span- Levi always has a hundred things running through his head at once and because of this he has severe trouble staying focused.
Makes bad jokes- This one is kinda self explanatory, hehe.

Name: Cronus
Species: Blastoise --> Mega Blastoise
Appearance: Normal
Gender: Male
Ability: Torrent
Personality: Normally cool and calm like his trainer, showing their close bond. When mega evolved he becomes very cynical and cocky, often acting tired and impatient.
Backstory: Originally one of the starters for the kanto league, Cronus was gifted to Levi as they grew an extremely close bond during his stay with the professor. During his first gym battle he lost terribly which caused him to become unsure of his power until evolving, which made him far more cocky and bold. He traveled with Levi through both Hoenn and Kanto before staying on Mt. Silver for several months to train alongside his comrade, Oros (Metagross).
Favorite Moves: Hydro Pump, Dragon Pulse.

Name: Oros
Species: Metagross
Appearance: Normal
Gender: N/A
Ability: Clear Body
Personality: Patient and calm. Oros is often seen as the father figure of Levi’s other pokemon. If Levi catches a new pokemon Oros usually takes them away to train and learn about. He is best friends with Cronus.
Backstory: Oros was the first pokemon Levi caught in Hoenn and quickly became an iconic team member. He originally had disliked Cronus but after being separated from Levi he was forced into an unfair fight to which Cronus stepped in and defended his comrade until there trainer arrived. He evolved quickly due to jumping from city to city at a quick pace and had trouble coping with it causing him to suffer from an identity crisis for most of his life, only just recently overcoming it.
Favorite Moves: Hammer Arm, Zen Headbutt.
