Private/Closed Sinnoh League: Ring in the New Year (Disscussion)

-Background-
A while ago I created a Sinnoh League RP that came to a conclusion around June, it has been quite a while since then and I feel like starting it again as a way to ring in the new year, now then on with the rules.
1. Pokecharms RP rules are, as always, in effect you may review by clicking here
2. Your character must have at least 6-12 Pokemon
3. There must be a smiley face somewhere in you signup, yes it is a must
4. Inform me if you choose to leave
6. No Battle Bond
7. No Fakemon
8. Ignore 5
9. No spamming dodges, even Arceus gets tired
10. Only 7 RPers will be accepted 7/7 (We are no longer accepting)
11. 1 Shiny per person
12. You may have up to one companion to join you/cheer you on
13. Have Fun

-Explanation-
The first 2 rounds will be against an NPC that you control, afterwards the battles will be between the rest of the Roleplayers until the end. Please first discuss a winner with your opponent if a conclusion cannot be reached you may resort to Pokemon Showdown.

Appearance: Landon has long dirty blonde hair and green eyes, as for his fashion, he is often told by others that he has none, often wearing clothes that don't match or are just out of style, however he has sworn off wearing hats since they mess up his hair and he never carries a comb. He also wears a Key Stone around his neck like a necklace.
Personality: Landon cares for both his friends and his Pokemon and hates to fail either of them so he typically will become sad and distant when he has let down a close friend. Landon is very passionate about his dream to become the Champion of the Sinnoh Region and always works hard alongside his Pokemon to achieve that goal. Landon is also both nervous and easy-going causing him to look dumb or sound dumb.

*Experience: Landon began his journey at the age of 14 in the Sinnoh Region. Personality: Hyper competitive and adventurous. He always gives it his all and is fueled by his desire to be "the best", can be a bit temperamental at times and is much more of a "acts before he thinks" kinda guy.

Experience: Began his journey when he turned 14 in Johto, making it all the way to the Johto League Finals only to come up short. Took some time to travel Hoenn with his best friend Taylor to watch her compete in the region's Pokemon Contests as he tried to regain his competitive fire. A battle against Wallace proved to be just the catalyst he needed as he went to Sinnoh to compete in the League once more while Taylor competed in that region's contests.

Appearance: L'loyd has short brown hair and black framed glasses with light blue teal eyes, he often wears a strange combination of t-shirt and tie and has some sort of watch on him at all times. He always has jeans on with a black belt that he carries his pokéballs on along with various potions and items he might need.

Personality: L'loyd is extremely hard working and will often push himself and pokémon to the absolute limit to achieve their goals. he has formed an incredible bond with his Zoroark and Lucario and makes friends easily, even though he has a rather short temper. He will let nothing and no one stop him on his way to the top.

Hometown & Region: accumula town, Unova

*Experience: L'loyd started his journey at the age of 13 after befriending a wild zorua and saving a riolu from a group of angry tranquill. they trained furiously and didn't stop until zorua evolved. they met some other pokémon along the way like a deino and honedge and they all grew close to their battling styles. after taking on the Unova league and failing they trained for another year or so only to have their dreams ripped from them as L'loyd's family moved to Sinnoh. Rather than giving up he decided to battle his way through the gyms onto the Sinnoh league.

Appearance: Tanner has short shaggy dirty blonde hair and light blue eyes, he usually wearing a white sweater with a gray serpent design on the back. Other than that he is wearing blue jeans or cargo shorts and brown shoes.

Personality: Tanner is a chill guy, he can make friends pretty easily due to his long tempered attitude. He is mostly humble and likes to make bad jokes. He made a good relationship with his Floatzel when he found him as a Buizel struggling in some rapids.

Hometown & Region: Eterna city, sinnoh

*Experience: Tanner has challenged many gyms and participated in smaller tournaments He won some gyms but the closest he got to winning a tournament was 5th place in a Eterna city competition . He has been training since he was 13 and he trained his pokemon almost every single day.

Experience: A coordinator who made it to the semi-finals of the Grand Festival in Johto, only to come up short. Undaunted she traveled to Hoenn along with her best friend Patrick to compete in the Hoenn Contests and tried to lift his spirits after a crushing loss in the Johto Conference Finals. Made it this time to the Hoenn Grand Festival Finals, but again came up short. Arranged for a battle between Wallace and Patrick which inspired Patrick to travel to Sinnoh and compete in the Sinnoh League, where as she traveled to compete in the Sinnoh Contests. This time, she made it to the finals and won the Grand Festival of Sinnoh and now cheers Patrick on as he aims to take him the Sinnoh Conference Crown.

Personality: A strategist and tries to put all his knowledge into use when battling. He’s quiet around strangers, but can be nice if you get to know him. Isn’t energetic , but cares deeply about his Pokemon. Jack’s also a loyal friend.
Hometown & Region: Miltank Farm, Johto
Experience: Saved up for an airplane ticket to Hoenn to do his journey. Eventually got all 8 badges, but the league there wasn’t opened yet so he went to Sinnoh. Jack got all the badges their, too and is about to take on the league.

His torso normally is something along the lines of a white t-shirt. Over it is either a open red and white plaid button up shirt, or a red hoodie with white pockets, when it’s colder. He usually sticks to navy blue jeans, and red and white Converse All Star High Tops. His backpack is a one strapped green bag. He also has a pair of red goggles with tinted black lenses for dealing with intense heat or to keep things out of his eyes.
Personality: Ry is a goof ball who is full of energy. He cracks jokes and tries to keep everyone in a good mood. He loves to battle and is always up for a brawl. He is an extremely loyal friend and trainer, fully trusting his friends and his Pokémon. However with the upbeat attitude he was some signs of weakness. One of them is when someone insults his Pokémon or his friends. He gets very upset, and he defends those who were insulted. Something peculiar about him, is his overall ignorance involving some more social aspects. He doesn’t pick up on clues and hints very quickly, like someone having a crush on him or hating his guts. The way it seems is, is that if it doesn’t involve Pokémon, battling or cooking, he is quite oblivious in this subject. However if there is an argument, and he picks up on it, he tries to jump in as a moderator. He is somewhat of a budding Pokémon breeder, with his mom teaching him a lot as he grew up. However there are a lot of times, where he can seem childish.

I felt the same way at first but honestly just go for it, don't be scared to go in depth with details, the hardest part I found was finding a plausible way to get the Mega Stone but that ended up coming naturally
