Setting::

Sinnoh Academy is located in the busy streets of Jubilife City in the Region of Sinnoh. Despite being in a city, it consists of multiple buildings like Gothic European architecture with a quad that is protected by them. Tall cherry blossoms stand here and is a popular place to stay in between classes. Behind the Battling Sciences building there is a battling field that is popular for student use. On campus there is also a dormitory that is for students to live on with four houses; Horned Serpents, Honey Badgers, Ravens, and the Lions... They compete in battling and showcase tournaments to earn the Sinnoh Academy Cup.

To be sorted into a House you must complete a series of questions until you are sorted by the Academy Sorting Top Hat.

Are you ready to embark in your years at the Academy?

"Alan!" Said a voice. "ALAN!" Alan Redwood was startled awake by the voice of his young sister Terry, who hovered over him in the darkness of his bedroom. The only light being through the door filtering through. She was fully dressed in her yellow sundress and sunhat, clutching a white bag, her purple eyes lit with a mixture of emotions, excitement and annoyance. Alan grunted, rolling on his stomach trying to shut the light out from his vision. He was exhausted from being out in the field all day with Professor Rowan, where he was interning during the summer for the final day. He went out into the Safari Zone in the muddiest place imaginable to tag and release Crogunk. They aren't always the friendliest though when it came to humans..

Terry tapped her foot lightly on the wooden floor before flipping on a light switch casting more light into the bedroom. She made a face,
"Come on Alan." She said anxiously. "Wake up!" Alan reluctantly rolled onto his side, subconciously he mumbled.
"Why are you up so early...."
"Brother!" Terry pleaded. "We are going to be late!"

Lazily he sat up, his reddish hair stuck up in a variety of places and he almost fell out of bed when he slung his long legs over the side.
"Alright alright." He said. "I'm awake. Now can you let a man get dressed in piece?" His sister rolled her eyes.
"I'll be in the living room." She disappeared from the room, leaving Alan alone again. He shook his head, Maybe I should invest in a new room mate He thought. He pushed himself to his feet and waddled sleepily to his closet. He dug through his clothing and pulled out the nearest thing, a pair of black slacks and a blue button up shirt. After replacing his boxers with his nicer, school appropriate clothing, he slid his feet into a pair of black sneakers while managing to comb his messy hair down with his fingers.

Swooping up his bag he went down stairs to meet his sister.
"You ready to go?" He asked.
"I am." She nodded adjusting her purse and took the lead out of their apartment into the streets of Jubilife City. "I can't wait to see what house I am in...." He smiled, he was a Horned Serpent all the way.
"Yeah, it'll be fascinating." He told her, "You may just be a Honey Badger!"

Today the year of Sinnoh Academy begins and the beginning of endless opportunities start here. Kimberly had already moved and settled in a few days ago and had a temporary dorm room before people got put into houses. She tried to not get too comfortable in her dorm room, so most of her stuff was still unpacked. However, Fraser was still yet to show up at the academy. Since there was a massive party that was being thrown, probably the last big party he'll be a part of before being sent to Sinnoh academy in Jubilife City. Veilstone City is a rather big trip away from Jubilife so it will be a rare excuse to be able to visit his friends back home. It wasn't anything he was worried about, he just wanted to enjoy his last few days there.

As Fraser turned the corner on his motorbike, he could see the grand entrance to the place where he will spend the foreseeable future here. He found the car park and parked his bike. He placed the helmet in the seat of his motorbike. He took his luggage off the back and entered the reception. He was welcomed by his sister who was waiting for him at the reception.

"Hey, Fraser!" She chirped. "Hey, sis. You alright?" he replied in a slightly tired tone. Kimberly scoffed at the sight of Fraser and noticed the bags under his eyes. "Must've been a pretty mental party. How hungover are you?" Kimberly chuckled. "I'm not that hungover, to be honest, I don't really get them."

"Stufful!" A Pokemon cheer could be heard from the right of them, they both turned knowing exactly who it was. "A cute, little, pink Pokemon rushed out from the hallway near the reception and rushed up to Fraser, running into his leg. "Stuff!" It cheered at Fraser. "Hey there, Cookie!" Fraser smiled as he crouched down and rubbed Cookie the Stufful's head. Cookie had part of her ear bitten off during a fight with a wild Poochyena, back when she herself was a wild Pokemon.

"So how's it been? Settling here?" Fraser asked standing back up. Kimberly picked up Cookie and held her in her arms, as they resumed their conversation. "I haven't been put into my actual dorm yet. People don't get their dorms until they've been sorted into the houses," Kim explained. "Oh right, that's interesting. What are the houses?" Fraser asked. Kimberly pondered in thought as sh tries to recollect the names of the houses. "I don't remember, but it's sorted by answering certain questions, and how you answer is how it determines your house," Kim explained. "So I'll get to put into a house with other people who will be in the same personality. Seems like fun," Fraser chuckled.

"I think the housing will be sorted today, so we'll find out if we'll be in the same house or not," Kim said.

Meanwhile within the Lions Dormitory, while most students were rubbing their eyes, grudgingly trying to find the energy to get out of bed, faint humming could be heard from room 4B.

Inside a boy was humming a song, a jingle from a commercial advertising toilet paper to be precise, while he pulled up his jeans over his boxers. This boy, was named Toby Calvin, and was currently a Sophomore at Sinnoh Acadmey. Nate and Achilles, his loyal pokemon laid on the bed, trying to find the strength to get up. The morning personality that their trainer had sure seemed to be a rare one, and quite annoying to deal with if one wanted an extra bit of sleep.

"C'mon guys, let's get a move on, and get some grub," Toby said pulling his shirt over his head. He gave his Pokemon a thumbs up and grabbed his personal belongings, only to stuff them in his pocket. He then slipped on his pair of white goggles which hung around the base of his neck as he walked towards the door dangling the keys. "Bagels for breakfast boys. C'mon," He said opening the door. This statement got both pokemon's attention, because both Pokemon got up and walked over with Nats climbing up on Toby's shoulder.

The trio walked towards their favorite coffee shop, which was right off campus, but sold the world's best bagels. Like ones so good, you don't put cream cheese on them. They ordered three bagels, one for each of them, along with a large black coffee, because Toby enjoyed the warm black liquid down his throat in the morning. Walking back towards the campus, Toby handed out the Bagels before biting down into his own and eating it with sips of coffee. When he finished he tossed the cup and bag into the trashcan as he passed, and to his Pokemon's dismay began to sing a song. Starman by David Bowie to be precise, because as Toby claimed it, he had class. Achilles have a face palm as Toby hit the chorus, and throughly embarrassing all three of them and probably insulting David Bowie.

BEEP BEEP BEEP. The shriek of the alarm had awoken the young trainer from his slumber. The trainer maneuvered his way off his bed, he tried to not wake his pokemon yet. Abra and Larvitar shared a bed with Michael while Feebas had an aquarium at the foot of the bed. Michael stepped out of his bedroom to start his morning ritual.
The day starts off with Michael taking a long thirty minute shower. Followed up with getting his pokemon breakfast. As he walked into his room to wake them he noticed Feebas was already awake. "Good morning." Michael gleefully said to the pokemon. Feebas swam in a loop returning the greeting. Michael reached for the dark blue curtains in his room and threw them aside. The light from the Sun exploded into the room. "Time to wake up!" Michael said to his Pokémon, asleep on the bed. Abra and Larvitar started to roll around on the bed trying to hide from the light. "Come on guys it's our first day of school." Michael pleaded. After a few minutes of constant pleading, Michael assisted Feebas downstairs in his portable aquarium with Abra and Larvitar running ahead. They had finished their quick meal and Michael changed into a lavender button up t shirt, put on his shorts, and grab his bag as he left the door.
After a quick journey through 203 Michael had arrived in Jubilife City. He had found a town map and went looking for his new school. After a few minutes of getting lost he finally had arrived to his new home.

Tyson had been awake for hours already, listening intently from his personal section of the Raven dormitory. The groans and muffled movements of his fellow classmates could just about be heard from where he sat, perched on his bed, like some kind of bird of prey. He had done a similar thing back home but with much more exciting results, from his room in Snowpoint city you could easily hear the sound of feet crunching through snow, Hoothoots calling out to one another in the trees and once or twice he could have sworn he heard the sound of an Abomnasnow roaring defiantly as it declared itself king of the mountain.

Anyway enough of that, it was time to truly begin another day, no more excuses for sitting around. With a tired groan of his own Tyson managed to break free of the loving grasp of his duvet and stumble into the bathroom, fumbling around with the dial on the shower until he got it just the right temperature. Freezing cold of course. Roughly five minutes late he emerged from the bathroom again now fully dressed, just adjusting the scarf around his mouth.

"Ergmite?"

"Yes, yes Seltzer. We can get breakfast right now if you want, maybe it will stop you fidgeting for one second." Tyson smiled at his Bergmite who was currently attempting to locate some kind of food in his bag. Tyson knew he wouldn't find any but hey, who was he to dash the lil fellas hopes?

In no mood to use the school canteen again, (The food wasn't bad there but variety is nice.) Tyson began to make his way off campus with Seltzer in tow, the Pokémon's small legs scrabbling to keep up. It was a little sad to admit but since his arrival here Tyson had never really explored Jubilife city but instead had only ventured out when necessary. Now was one such time. The problem now being that because of his lack of knowledge of the area he didn't actually know of any shops that could sell him the breakfast he and his Pokémon sought after. But wait, was that kid over there eating bagels? And singing Starman very obnoxiously? What as stroke of....well looking at the situation luck may be a bit of stretch.

"Hey their, sorry to interrupt your song and all that but me and my friend here are on a quest for breakfast, where did you get those bagels?" Tyson asked after letting the guy sing on for a little while, Seltzer actually getting into it and shaking a little in some kind of dance. The stranger actually looked quite familiar so he was probably another student but who knows in a place like Jubilife, a lot of strange characters in these parts.

"These aren't just bagels. They are super awesome bagels, and fresh. You seem familiar? Are you a student? If so, I'm suprised you don't know about that coffee shop, down there. They have the best bagels, ever!" Toby said, in a flurry of words. Achilles sighed. He was glad the singing had stopped.

"But anyways, there is a coffee shop, just down that block, called Roserade Coffee." Toby said pointing down the block at the small green roofed coffee shop. "They have amazing bagels, and pretty good coffee and donuts. But the bagels are like the best part." He then took a large bite out of his bagel and chewed it ferociously. Then he swalllowed and gave a grin.

Tyson raised his eyebrows at the sudden hale of words being thrown his way, he wasn't expecting such an excitable answer to such a simple question. Now he was really close to this guy he defiantly recognised him though, he was almost sure this guy was a fellow student. With such a loud persona though it was no wonder Tyson had avoided him thus far.

"Thankyou, perhaps I'l- Seltzer stop that!" Tyson barked, his eyebrows furrowing as he frowned at his Bergmite. The little ice type Pokémon had attempted to nip forward and steal one of the bagels from the guys Pokémon but after being scolded he messed up and ended up on his side with all legs flailing.

Markus rose from his bed in his personal section in the Ravens dormitory. His long, spiky, black hair draped over his entire head, as it wasn't being held up by his headband. Blindly, he sat up and reached over to the desk beside the bed and rummaged around, looking for his headband. After knocking a few things over, he felt the soft material of his blue headband and picked it up. Pulling back his hair, he slipped the headband on, clearing his vision and notifying him that it was his first day at Sinnoh Academy.

Lazily, Markus rolled off his bed, shirtless and tired. He stumbled across the room to his dresser, pulling out his Pokeball design Battle Frontier shirt that he'd gotten while working as the Battle Tower assistant one summer. He slipped it on and stumbled across the room yet again to his desk, grabbing three Pokeballs. Yawning, he grabbed his satchel, threw the Pokeballs in, slipped the satchel around his shoulder, and started towards the door.

Throwing open the door, Markus started out the dormitory. He slowly shuffled out in a zombie fashion and was met with the blinding morning light enveloping Jubilife City. He staggered back, grunting at the sudden light but soon came to his senses. Being from Sunyshore City helped him get used to the light faster as he always woke to a bright, clear sky near the shoreline of the city's beach. He walked quietly down the calm, morning street as he arrived at the closest coffee shop to the academy, Roserade Coffee. He'd known that because he'd done extensive research into the whole city before he moved into his dorm.

Tiredly, he pushed his way through the glass door and walked up to the counter where a lady in a green apron, wearing a hat that resembled the top of Roserade's head stood. "Good morning sir!" The lady greeted with a smile on her face. "Welcome to Roserade Coffee! What can I get you?" "Mm... yeah, I'll take a medium Kalosian Vanilla, two Malasadas, and a can of Roser-ade to go please." Markus tiredly muttered. The cashier jotted his order down into the machine then turned back to him. "Okay that'll be 500P please!" "Mmkay." Markus reached his hand into a side compartment in his satchel and pulled out some coins. He handed them to the cashier and she slipped them all into the register.

Shortly after that, a man who was working the coffee machine came by with his order, handing him the drink, the Malasadas, and the can of Roser-ade. "Thanks." He said. He turned and walked out of the shop to go sit on the front patio of the store, at one of the little benches they had installed there. He began to drink his Kalosian Vanilla, tasting the sweet, warm, caffeine filled, liquid going across his taste buds. He took a bite of his Malasada and quietly waited, pondering if he'd see anyone going to Sinnoh Academy for their first day aswell.

"Well it's nice seeing you sis, and you Cookie," Fraser said ah he petted Cookie another time. "Stuff!" Cookie chirped. "See ya whenever then," Kim replied. "Yeah, I'm going to have a look around the place. See ya whenever" Fraser said as he wandered around campus. He found himself wandering into the cafeteria, he pauses for a moment as he tried to process how he ended up here, but he certainly wasn't complaining stumbling across the cafeteria. He approached the counter and inspected at what foods there was behind the glass. He placed his index finger on his chin as he pondered on what food he should choose. He did a quiet annoyed grunt to himself as he couldn't decide what he should get.

Kim decided to walk outside and towards the common area where it's made for students to hang out at. She laid down on a field and carefully placed Cookie down beside her. She then pulled out her favorite book out of her bag and started to read it. It was her favorite book and she has read it countless of times but she just can't get enough of it. Cookie walked around as she prepared to snuggle up beside Kimberly's head and have a nap as Kim chilled out beside her. After a moment, Kim thought it was appropriate to let her other Pokemon out to have a small run around. She reached into her bag and threw a Pokeball in the air, which released a Shieldon. "We're just chillin' in the school field, play around for a little bit," Kim said to Clay the Shieldon. Clay nodded and cheered. As he started to run around chasing the Beautifly that peacefully flew around. Kim scoffed and resumed reading her book.
