Shiny Amoonguss Distribution Live for Limited Time

In a tribute to trainer Baik Jongyoon, a semi-finalist in the 2019 Pokémon World Championships' Senior Division, Pokémon Korea has released a download code that allows owners of Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield to obtain a shiny Amoonguss.

This Amoonguss is a replica of the one Baik used during the competition. You'll need to use the code TRA1NERSCUP via the Mystery Gift menu to grab your own, but this code will only work for a very limited time. The distribution will end tomorrow (August 10th) at 3:59 PM UK time (10:59 AM EST / 7:59 AM PST).

In other words, grab it ASAP if you haven't already done so.

Here's a breakdown of the Amoonguss' stats:

Level: 50
Nature: Sassy
Held Item: Focus Sash
Moves:
- Clear Smog
- Spore
- Protect
- Rage Powder

It's also packing perfect IVs in all stats but HP and Speed, and comes fully EV trained. The download code will work on all copies of Sword and Shield, regardless of region, so get your Amoongus today!

so I took this amoongus for a test drive in battle tower doubles and all i have to say is that this pokemon is great at helping another pokemon set up for a sweep (unless the opposing team has something that can hit more than 1 pokemon like surf, rock slide, dazzling gleam etc.)

Tested this lass out in a Trick Room team — this Amoonguss works like a charm! Spore shuts people down real fast, and Rage Powder lets it take tons of heat. And don’t get me STARTED on Regenerator.
