I have an idea in mind though it also requires dust so can't join you there Eevee. Apologies.

Also I find it funny how similar the strengths/weaknesses if Topaz and Sterling are. All around strong with a tendency to get emotional/headstrong. It's mirrors XD

It shouldn't be that big an issue, though I would think it'd be best to separate the two onto two different teams so we don't have two members with too similar skill sets to make each team stronger.

...actually looking at it, they kind of fill different roles. Sterling is moreso brute force, the tank, while Topaz is more akin to a Rogue with a Semblance and powerset made for dealing with foes quickly, the DPS. Pretty similar, but different enough that they could work on the same team if we need them to be.

Name: Aryle Winthrop
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Fair skinned individual with freckles along with blue eyes and long brown hair tied in a single ponytail. Wears a white sleeveless t-shirt that cuts above the belly button with a light green vest. Wears a pair of dark brown pants along with a pair of white flats.
Personality: A bit of a reserved individual. Quite, with a natural love for the outdoors and an eye for detail. Able to hold seemingly trivial things to memory and a bit of an anti-social nature about her. However, there does exist a nice girl underneath all that with a love for adventure and a passion for the arts.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Is quite the tactical fighter, able to make the most of terrain and is an expert shot with a natural survival and scouting affinity. However, she is not favorable to up close combat due to a lack of strength or endurance and very much prefers to keep her enemy within her scope as opposed to up close and personal.
Weapons: Lunalight Whisper (A bow and arrow, white in color with golden streaks along the bow, that comes with multiple dust-produced arrow heads on top of multiple arrows with white feathers attached to their ends. The bow can fold up and its center extend to produce a bo-staff with retractable blades at the ends of it.)
Semblance: Hunter's Gaze (Eyes transform into bright orange with a pair of black lines as pupils that form crosses and shift around. This grants her an expansive field of view and greater visual perception of her surroundings. Including binocular vision and x-ray vision, though her capacity in these areas are limited and far from polished.)
Backstory: Growing up in the Kingdom of Atlas, the frozen tundra outskirts became her home where she learned how to hunt under the guidance of her older brother Cole. Cole, in spite of being far more social and a bit eccentric at times, was someone Aryle looked up to as he showed her everything he knew and a strong connection was formed between them. Cole would strive to become a Hunter, and opted to travel Mistral in order to take up residence at Haven Academy. Aryle stayed with her parents to help care for them, but then during one mission Cole and his team went missing which raised both concern and alarm from Aryle; she had aspirations of becoming a Huntress herself, but changed plans from going to Atlas and instead followed her brother's shoes to go to Haven. Both to realize her dream and find out what happened to her older brother and his mysterious disappearance.
Other: Name is based on the color Arylide Yellow. Cole on Charcoal. Aryle also likes to sketch scenery in her spare time. Cole's missing team is Team CHMP (Champagne)

It's more likely to be Haven we go to actually :p

Homelands, GJ. Like Arlye is from Atlas. I think she's fine and unique enough :p
When (yes not if, I'm confident Sect'll let you in) Arlye gets accepted, I think she could have an interesting dynamic with Topaz tbh.

Name: Olivia Ulysses
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: Short, messy dark brown hair, with silver eyes and pale skin. Wears a sleeveless, olive-coloured undershirt, with a brown unbuttoned jacket over it (if it was buttoned up, it honestly would be possible to mistake her for a guy), and pants of the same olive colour.
Personality: Olive is outgoing and brash, with a tendency to act before thinking. Despite being quick thinking, cunning, and creative, she also tends to stick to her guns, and show an unwillingness to change. She’s rather “lost” as a person, not exactly sure on what she wants out of life, or what her goals are. As a result of this, she tends to take less initiative, following in the steps of other people.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Olive is a surprisingly fast, dangerous and quick thinking fighter, and the rather basic appearance of her weapons gives her the element of surprise. However, she’s not good at adapting, more in favour of sticking to one plan, and just trying again, and in true one on one situations without tricks or being underestimated, she struggles to keep up.
Weapons: “Equis & Troy”, two daggers. The hilts are connected by an extendable chain contained inside the handles of the daggers, allowing the daggers to be reeled back, thrown, or swung.
Semblance: Field Distortion - Olive's Semblance allows her to affect the gravitational field of people and objects (provided they are not that much heavier than herself), as long as she’s in contact with that thing, or something she is touching is in contact with it. For example, if one of her daggers was stuck into something, and she was holding onto the chain, she could almost transmit the effect of her semblance through the chain to the target. The actual effects of the Semblance itself can either increase the gravitational force on something, making it feel heavier and attract towards the ground faster, or make it lighter and float more via the opposite effect. Of course, the power of these effects is rather limited.
Backstory: Born to the Ulysses family on a small island off the south coast of Mistral, Olive had a quiet, peaceful childhood, seeking excitement through her many adventures. However, as she grew, she struggled more and more with her lack of purpose. Her brother, Hekarty Ulysses (who was 15 years older than her) left her family to attend Haven Academy when she was only two years old, bringing his entire team around when he returned to visit his family. Olive quickly grew to greatly admire her brother and his friends, seeing just how strong they had become, seemingly having found their purposes. By the time she was 7 years old, her brother graduated from Haven with his team, Team HMAN, set for great things. For the first time, Olive actually got to go into Mistral itself, her mind blown by the experience and the amount of people. Her parents were immensely proud of their son, and despite not seeing the benefits of being a huntsman, Olive was happy to see him happy. It was only once she began to grow older, and meet more people when travelling to Mistral itself, that she began to realise how odd her situation was, even her own existence (considering the 15 year gap before suddenly deciding they wanted another child was never explained to her). However, it was then that the event that shook up her life completely took place. Despite opportunity being handed to them on a silver platter, 3 members of Team HMAN, including her brother, disappeared. She wasn’t concerned, and neither were her parents- they had gotten used to not seeing Hekarty for months at a time. However, a few months later, Napier Cissus, one of her brothers teammates, announced that Team HMAN had broken up after much deliberation, and she was going solo. No reason was ever given- and things were difficult for Olive’s parents ever after. They would wait, hope that he would eventually return to contact them- but he didn’t. Even Napier, who was a family friend at this point, wouldn’t give any actual information. The rest of her life was mostly a boring daze, until Olive finally decided on her course of action- she would train to become a huntress, enter Mistral Academy, and follow in her brother’s footsteps, hopefully being able to find out what happened while actually living on the mainland. She doesn’t believe being a huntress to be her true calling- but she sees no other option. All she needs to do is clear her conscience, and she can find her purpose.
Other: Known by most people as Olive, although her family call her Liv.

Here's silver-eyed warrior Plot-person, who i said i was gonna make. Bonus points if you can guess what the mythological inspiration is, class!

Aryle: Damn, this story speaks to me.

Haven is not a great school. Two teams went missing in it, one post graduation mind you but still not a great track record XD

On the subject of Silver-eyes, I find it annoying how the fans misinterpret these eyes as some kind of all powerful ability when in reality its not, it only affects Grimm I think

I think the thing with Cinder might have just been some kind of collateral damage, what with the light and all. Although, one thing to note is that silver eyes are pretty much just treated as plot device powers so we have no idea as to how they’re supposed to work

Maria gave them a pretty good description, actually. They're triggered off of the emotion of wanting to save someone, and only work against Grimm (and MAYBE maidens, but Cinder could have been because of her Salem connection). We know it can be interrupted, like in Volume 5, and it can either freeze or disintegrate Grimm as well as having a third effect I can't recall at the moment.

Aside from that, i mostly meant in terms of the Cinder thing, and in overall terms WHY they're a thing, since thats pretty much gotten no explanation yet. So i'm mostly just going to go off the information we have so far- they won't be actually getting used much, so it should suffice.

That’s exactly what it was lol

Although that was mostly an excuse
I just loved the name
Because it either means Huntsman or Human, both of which work just fine
