There are a bunch of different ways, many of which are detailed here. (even though it shows sprites being used, it also applies to photos just as easily)

Personally, I use photobucket(the method of which is detailed in that link somewhere near the bottom), because I can upload the photo and make in transparent within a minute or so....and I also lack access to the majority of the other such transparency-things like Photoshop and whatnot :p

Oh ... okay . Thanks ! Haha lucky for me i have a Photobucket account .
But I dont really go on it much so i dont know the tricks yet .
Well this gives me something to work on now .... xD
