Previously The Pikachan
Rene enjoyed an apple along with Michi. Despite everything, just standing there made her feel calm. Maybe she could dedicate her life to exploring the oceans. That would be nice. Rene brushed her hair with her hand and then noticed Kaiden.

"Hi Kaiden, enjoying the view?" She smiled.

She didn't really know Kaiden at first, or many of the members, but spending an entire month on a ship, you at least learned their names. Kaiden was also interesting. He was a summoner, something that Rene didn't really understand. This might be the chance to learn more about such magic.

The waters were calm and the wind was steady since Queen Azumi wanted the boats to go slower. Captain Eudora’s Pidgeot has been spending most of his day gliding high above the boats as an extra lookout. As night settled on the Pidgeot would rest on the main mast of the ship.

As the month rolled by, the cultists that were on board and grown more and more restless. During their meetings at the dead of nights they have decided that tonight would be night of the ritual. This caused Owen to be on edge for the past few days, fumbling around with simple tasks that Eudora gave him, something that she took notice of. She gave him and Spike nightwatch duties this night telling him to take the time to straighten himself out.

Owen stared blankly at the darkening horizon. He was at the helm holding the ship steady as the captain was adding to her maps along with her Scizor. Spike laid at his feet resting with his head down. As much as he was comfortable sailing he was missing dry land and being able to exercise effectively.

“Are you ready for tonight?” The quartermaster asked him.

Owen blinked once holding his eyes shut tighter and longer than normal. “Yes sir, but please reconsider, this is not a good idea to bring her here. We’ve been out of communications for a while now....”

“That’s enough Owen, we brought you along specifically for these rituals. You do what your told got it?”

Owen nodded with a slight frown. These poor people, what is she going to do to them? Over the past month Owen has grown to know the passengers quite well. Listening to their stories at night about the wars and battles they fought in the past was really impressive. He grabbed at the pendant of his necklace through his shirt.

“Keep your wits about you kid.” The quartermaster said as he left to resume overseeing the routine maintenance of the ship sails and ropes.

Owen sighed and gritted his teeth. Almost home... we’re so close, why do they insist.

Page after page after page. Razan had been flipping through this book for what seems like ages. It was a book containing magic symbols, and what they meant. Razan was still fascinated by the strange star symbols, and not knowing what it was bothered him in a way. He sighed as he reached the end with no answer, and proceeded to put the book back on the shelf in his library. He closed his eyes for a moment after, processing his own thoughts, and then went into his study, and sat down at his desk.
He was growing restless for answers to the riddle. A month ago he told and showed Ashley the letter given by CrossBlade, and insisted that there was something in there that he could see.
Razan flipped through a series of note pages, reading them, marking out some, and organizing. A drawer opened up revealing a series of code solvers made of wood. He fiddled with these for a while before putting them back.

He was tired of waiting for answers. He needed to find a way to break it.

Blood, Gore, and Language Warning for this Post

(also large post)

As the last of the passengers and none Cult members of the crew fell asleep the lanterns in the ships were blown out with the exception of three on every boat one on each end and the lantern that the crewman carried who was on nightwatch duty.

Owen stood on the stern of the boat and looked out at the two other boats slightly behind them and on either sides. Owen flashed the shutter on his lantern a few times and got a response from the other two nightwatchers on the other boats. Fellow cultists were on watch tonight.

Spike whimpered slightly with concern as Owen stepped back down and headed below deck. Everyone was asleep, four members of the crew remained awake. They had gone to the lowest part of the ship, below the cargo and into the weapons and munitions storage. There was not much there as the expedition was not expecting much conflict in terms of naval conflict but Captain Eudora likes to be prepared, something left over from her pirating days.

There were three more members there now for a total of seven one of the three new members being a woman, counting Owen would make eight. Owen knew what to do. He hung his lamp on a hook by the entrance and walked to the center of the room, there was a large pot of thick red liquid that gave off a strong metallic smell. Owen took out his journal and flipped through several pages before stopping. On the page was a drawing of three interlocking circles around a fourth larger one in the center. Various other demonic symbols were drawn intricately around, within, and intertwining around one another. The three hidden members had been stowaways that moved about during the night to stretch and eat some food, but remained hidden deep in the ship's cargo.

The quarter master handed Owen four long handle painter brushes, and Owen handed him his journal. Owen then proceeded to dip both ends of each brush into the container of thick crimson blood. He held both hand out in front of him as the four brushes floated off on their own each drawing one of the four circles pictured in his journal. They re-dipped themselves whenever the blood on them seemed slightly low. After ten or so minuets Owen had recreated the symbol from his journal down to the smallest detail. During that time the three new members of the group had stripped down to nothing but their underwear and were chanting in a demonic tongue quietly as Owen worked. They were kneeling in a circle around the circles that Owen was drawing.

Spike was sitting on the landing of the stairs that would lead to the room, half paying attention to the ritual and half on lookout duty. "This is it, the ritual seal is complete." Owen took a step back and looked at his work. "The candles and the blood offering is up to the rest of you guys."

The quartermaster nodded and turned to the six other members. "Alright, lets get to it. He began placing several blood red candles over select symbols around the three outer rings and lit them as he did so. The three nearly naked cultists knelt down in the center of each of the three outer rings, the woman being in the one closest to the center larger fourth ring. The three remaining cultists were standing equidistant from one another around the whole thing as the Quartermaster paced around in an even larger circle around them.

Owen was slightly trembling, his teeth chattering and legs feeling weak. He was no stranger to these rituals but this was a different case. He collected his journal and replaced it into his sash. The Quartermaster began chanting in a low voice a slow impossible warm wind began to blow in the enclosed room in a swirl around the symbol on the ground. The light and fire from the lantern that Owen had carried down turned into a vivid red color. The three kneeling cultists extended their arms outwards to their sides, they craned their necks upwards as they looked to the ceiling, their irises were a bright glowing crimson color. The three standing cultists each took out a ritual dagger and stabbed it into both wrists of each of the kneeling members making deep length cuts down their forearms.

Their blood spilled out but it was never fell down wards, instead the blood flew out of their wounds towards the center of the fourth circle, circling around the blood of the other two members before enough blood was collected and a small rotating sphere was suspended several feet off the ground with thin tendrils of blood that connected the sphere to the wrists of each member.

The floor in the center of the fourth ring fell away and was replaced by darkness, something otherworldly that seemed to devour the light and looking at it gave a tingling sensation to the back of ones mind that would drive someone insane after prolonged exposure. Owen closed his eyes and fell onto his knees, sick to his stomach. He could feel some of his life force being pulled to feed the ritual. At that moment the three standing cultists took their daggers and drove it deep into the necks of the kneeling members and ripped apart their throats nearly severing their heads but not quite. They held their heads back allowing the blood to pour out and feed into the floating orb. When there was no more blood the three cultists released their bodies and the bodies were pulled into the blackness of the fourth ring. The darkness was like a blender gibing the corpses and the black hole was filled with flesh and bone forming a new floor. The three standing cultists backed away from the floating orb. The four members were all chanting in unison during all of this, their eyes turned into a glowing crimson red from their natural color.

The massive floating perfectly shaped blood orb increased in it rotational speed, the warm swirling winds were even stronger now. The blood orb was like a vortex pulling the wind.

SPLOOSH!

The orb smashed into the ground of flesh and bone, but it did not just splash it formed what looked like a spinning column of blood that connected the floor to the ceiling. The center of the pillar suddenly inflated then exploded spraying and covering the room with blood stains. Owen was nearly hit but he was far enough away that he avoided it. The four remaining cultists were blown back onto their butts, completely splattered red. In the center of the fourth ring where there was the floor of flesh and bone stood something not quite human, very long and voluminous snow white silvery hair, white and grey colored fur, a long bushy tail covered with long fur of the same colors slightly curled around the body. The creature was crouching before it slowly stood up. The four cultists scrambled onto their hands and knees and crawled to the summoned being prostrating around it in a circle.

A vicious sounding growl came from the being, "What's that smell?" the being asked quietly the voice guttural like a growling wolf but clearly female. "...the sweet blood, oh, it sings to me. It's enough to make anyone sick." She said as she stood up slowly, craning her head in an arc taking in a deep breath. As she did so, the blood mist in the air was visibly drawn quickly into her nose. She exhaled the mist from her mouth as a glowing red breath that faded into nothing. Her eyes were looking down at the four prostrating cultists. Her blood red sclera were glowing in the dim light along with her silver glowing irises. Her sharp teeth were bared in a silent snarl.

Owen managed to stand back up. Spike was cowering behind him in the corner. "Hey, calm down, we'll be fine." He assured the scared Pokémon sitting back down next to Spike and holding him close.

With an upward gesture of her right hand the four cultists were levitated into the air around her unable to move. she spun them around looking each one in the face briefly. "Who's idea was it to summon me here?" being asked, the four cultists were still spinning slowing around her like a rotisserie.

"It't was me High Priestess." The Quartermaster stated.

As soon as he owned up, the three remaining cultists were shot out violently across the room, landing with a hard thud that caused Owen to flinch with the sound, but hopefully it was not loud enough the alert anyone awake. "Why the FUCK!" the creature hissed leaning towards the Quartermaster, her sharp teeth and fangs dangerously close to his neck, "Have you summoned me here?" she was practically shaking with rage. Owen could see stray strands of her hair quivering as she trembled with anger.

"I thought---" was he was able to manage before the creature violently bit down and tore the Quartermaster's throat with one lightning quick motion. She opened her maw and his throat fell out onto the ground as she dropped the gurgling, and twitching body onto he floor as the Quartermaster rapidly bled out. She took a quick glance around at the ritual site and her eyes widened. "Owen." she spoke once clear but not loud.

Owen scrambled onto his feet again and quietly went into the blood drenched room. "Wite, I'm sorry I tried to tell them not to, they wouldn't listen...."

Wite was not even looking at Owen but rather her surroundings, "Where the hell are we?"

"This is the ship of Queen Azumi, the ruler of Kelan, they are on a voyage to discover our lands...." Owen was shaking and his teeth were chattering and his legs were going numb, it was quite common to see Wite in such a range around the other cultists, she becomes rather unpredictable.

Wite sneered, "The three of you," she pulled the three cultists that she thrown out back around her levitating them around her again, "Go about the ship in your usual disguises, and pretend nothings has happened, you cross me again and your punishment will be even more severe than it already will be." The three cultists left the room quickly, as they left, every speck of blood on their body and clothes were pulled out towards Wite, spinning around her like thin wisps of smoke. She snapped her fingers and all the blood in the room lifted itself cleanly off every surface and formed into a large sphere in the palm of her extended hand including the ritual circle, the pot of blowed used to draw the circle, and the blood from her fur and mouth. The, now dead, Quartermaster's body was turned into a dried husk as the blood was extracted from it into the orb. "Listen here Owen, although I have enough blood here to probably kill everyone on this ship, as much as I hate it, we will need their assistance for what we need." She slowly closed her extended hand with the orb of blood over it and the orb quickly began to shrink and condense. "I'm going to teleport myself into the water quite a bit of distance in front of the ship, wait for a while then alert the ship and come get me, then play along, I trust you're not dumb as the others." Wite seemed to exert a massive amount of strength to close her hand as the orb had gotten so small and concentrated that it appeared to become a blood red crystal.

"Teleportation takes a massive amount of magic..." Owen began, but stopped when he saw Wite hold the gem close to her mouth and she exhaled a light blueish almost white smokey viscous substance from her breath, the texture of the substance appeared to have a face on it. Owen looked at it for a few seconds before he realized he was looking at the soul of the Quartermaster. Wite breathed the soul into the blood gem and a white vibrantly glowing spec appeared in the center of the gem.

"Do you know how much magic the raw soul of something contains? This will be more than enough. Now get back on deck." Wite spun her finger around and Owen did as well following the motion of her finger. Wite took one last look around the room. There was nothing out of the ordinary, every trace of blood had been cleaned, the only thing left was the husk of the Quartermaster, she picked it up and held it under her free arm as she held the glowing blood stone in the other, and she knelt down. 'Lets get this show on the road....'

Owen took his lamp and briskly walked to the bow of the ship and hung his lantern looking around, and waited. Luckily no one had woken up, perhaps the Quartermaster and cook had snuck in sleeping aids into the meals of the others. A faint flash in the far distance caught Owen's eye, it was several meters under the water so the light was faint, but he knew it was her. His heart raced, and his palms were sweaty and his breaths were uneven and the night air felt colder than normal as he ran to the bell of the ship and began pulling on the rope that would sound the bell. "HEY THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE WATER AHEAD OF US! WAKE UP!" Owen shouted as loudly as he could knowing full well who and what was out there.

Ashley had been in between training, taking care of the guild hall, worrying about Razan and making sure everyone was okay. She had strolled into town, and walked into a bakery.

"Hi, how can I help you..." The clerk was about to say when she recognized Ashley, "Ashley Silver of the Stormbreakers!"

------------

Tempest and Rocco had been understanding the ship they were on for the last month, along with Tempest wrapping up a book on useful sea plants, The two were fast asleep on the Knight ship, and showed no signs of waking up anytime soon.

1 Month of travel

Azumi had spent the rest of the evening complaining and crying to Emma. She even begged her to stay the night with her. So she could feel less alone. As the night set in, Azumi had fallen asleep after talking to Leon for a few minutes.
She has having a nice dream where she was with Leon at the pond feeding Tyler. They were talking about Emma's incredible capacity to drink. Just when Azumi was about to change the subject to something more kid friendly, Leon was gone. She heard a knight scream out a warning. Azumi could barley understand what he said. Something in the water?

The Queen opened her eyes in a flash and jumped out of bed. She rushed through the room and out quickly, ignoring the fact the she was wearing her pijamas and was bare foot. She saw where Owen was pointing to and without giving it a second thought, jumped off the ship and into the water.

She swam quickly to Wite's location. She quickly grabbed a hold of her, unsure if it was human or a Pokemon. "Don't worry I got you." They both began to rise as Tyler lifted them up and took them back to the boat.

Once on board Azumi began to shiver. "Owen, can you get us towels please?" She smiled and then looked at Wite, still unsure what she just rescued. "Are you okay?"

Annette walked out of Azumi's room rubbing her eyes and wearing a white robe. "What's going on?"

Akali, Wrecker and Ariel came up also. They looked at Wite, problaby wondering what that Pokemon was and why it was in the middle of the ocean. Especially Ariel, he seemed to be really focused on the new passenger.

Owen smiled, relived to see Wite, mostly fine at lease. "Right away your Highness!" Owen ran off to blow deck to fetch several stacks of towels and blankets with Spike tailing at his heels.

Wite coughed up a rather substantial amount of water. She accidentally shot herself a bit too deep into the water. She felt heavy from her wet fur and her hair was matted down, she must look fantastic. She was lying on her side on the deck of the boat. "Aw gosh that was an unpleasant feeling..." she managed to say in between spitting up water. "Thanks for fishing me out." Wite managed to sit up as Owen returned with the towels and blankets.

Wite wrapped herself in a blanket as she dried off her hair with a towel, "Who are you people? Where am I?" She was not as much bothered by the cold rather more annoyed of the fact she's drenched, but it can't be helped.

The sound of a sliding stone echoed in the bunker. A stone was being pulled out of the wall, except this was no ordinary stone. Inside it was a compartment that held the letter. CrossBlades letter.
Razan carefully took it out, being as gentle as he could with it, and set it down at his desk. He read it again.

Please read this letter Razan. I know that you aren’t very fond of me, or the rest of the organization, but I needed to confess myself.
I hate my work here. All I wanted was to get stronger to avenge my brother, and I did, but at what cost? The cost was to join the Organization was to kill thousands for Vlad. The Organization destroyed me, and I’m sincerely glad that you escaped. Needless to say, I was jealous of you for a while, the fact that you escaped and lived is a great accomplishment in itself, but truthfully, I am really glad. On my behalf, I am sorry for all the pain I have caused to your friends and your loved ones.

But there’s something that you should know.
What really happened.

Just then as Razan read it again, he found it. He couldn’t believe his eyes. In a frantic understanding, he talked quickly to himself.
“It’s with the letters at the beginning of each sentence. Whenever he mentions the Organization, he doesn’t use X, which means he didn’t want the reference to be that obvious. So he uses the reference as something. At first I thought that it meant that the clue was in there because on maps X marks the spot, just like the Organization, but that’s not it. Because he generates hate towards it, it wouldn’t mean that the answer was with the Organization, it would be against it. X cancels out things. Which means that all sentences with an exception of the last two because they aren’t in the main part are counted as the solution. And if we get the capital letter together in order....”

Razan proceeded to circle each one, and then looked down. “P-I-A-N-O......”
He hesitated after he got the answer, another lost memory was coming back.

In their house, they had had a Piano, and his mother taught him how to play. He was fairly good at it, and good play some complex melodies.

Razan returned to reality, and sat down, holding his head in his hands.
Did CrossBlade want him to go back to understand?

Emma groggily got up from the table she was sleeping on. She stood up, slowly walking towards the commotion. Due to Azumi's terrible influence, she was completely wasted. Before she could even open the door, she fell over. Her face smashed into the ground, and she groaned as Mack hopped behind her. Tybalt stood in the crow's nest, bored out of his mind. No pirates, no sea monsters, just sitting on a ship swabbing the decks.

Tsonea had constructed a small, secluded area for herself with the crates in the hold. A small enough area with a blanket acting as a door. She hummed away as she practiced her dancing in her little corridor. Shekeka stood in front of the blanket, as to protect her privacy.

Azumi gave Wite an astonished look. She was not expecting her to talk. "Um, wow. I wasn't expecting to be able to understand you." Azumi wrapped her towel around herself and offered Wite her hand. "My name is Azumi Towers. You're currently on my boat. May I ask why were you in the middle of the ocean?"

Nana teleported near Azumi and stared at Wite with suspicious eyes. "Stranger danger!" Her sweet voice sounded through everyone's mind.

Annette was about to approached the group, but Ariel grabbed her arm. He whispered to her. "Do you happen to have any books on demonology?"

Annette gave him a confused look. "No. Why?"

Ariel shook his head. "Nothing really. Just a crazy idea in my head."

Wrecker walked over to Emma. He offered her his big hand. "Need help? I understand how annoying it is when alcohol messes up your gravity."

“Wite, Wite Marchosias, no I’m not a Pokémon” Wite chuckled as she shook Azumi’s hand. Her hand was strangely more human than paw-like. Her nails were black and sharp like claws but her palms were softer and slightly more padded than a humans. “Thanks for picking me up. I had a bad run in with a wild Alakazam and it teleported me... pretty jarring to be on dry land then being several meters underwater the next. I’m from Cezare Iasland.” Wite looked around at the gathered passengers, “by the looks of it you guys don’t seem to be around here.”

Wite growled at Nana as she drifted near. She noticed Ariel being the most suspicious of the bunch, most of the others were more curious than anything.

A hooded figure watched the city on wards from a another roof. He decided that he would tell Ashley eventually, that he would go back to the village. For now, Razan needed to take his mind off of everything. After a while, he saw a man run out of a nearby store, and immediately gave chase through the air, using air a foot holds to crisscross after him. The hooded figure predicted that he would run into an alley, and he swooped down in front of him. Razan was actually surprised. It was a teenager, sweat dripping down his face, and he wasn't holding anything, but he was in trouble.
"Oh, Sir, he's after me! I-I didn't even do anything! He-he just lunged at me at the market!" The boy talked extremely fast as if hurried.
The hooded man nodded and the chaser caught up to the alley they were in. Razan immediately noticed him as a criminal he had put away several years ago. "Hah! I knew you would show up!" The man said.
The teenager became confused. "Wh-why did you chase-"
"SHUT IT!" The man yelled, and the boy bolted out.
Th man laughed. "Good! Very good! Now we can have round two! Revenge!"

The hooded man sighed. "By we you mean you and five others, right?"
Confusion and amazement swept over the chasers face. "How did you know that?"
Razan shook his head. He sensed movement in the wind patterns he had set up. The four others stood behind the first one, their faces sneering at the hooded man. The hooded mans hands started to glow a whitish color. "Shall we get on with it?", the hooded man said.
The criminals lunged at Razan, and the showdown began.

"Yes I am, as a matter of fact, I'm trying to get some bread to take to a guildmate." Ashley explained, with a red face.

"Is said guildmate Razan?" The baker asked.

Ashley, her face still red, bought the bread, and went back to the guild hall. She sat down, and started to prepare said loaf of bread. Kato noticed the worry on his trainer's face as she prepared it.

Azumi glared at Nana. "That's enough! Stop being rude. You're making her uncomfortable."

Nana shot Wite an angry look and teleported away. She hated being scolded by Azumi and more when it was in front of others.

Azumi turned back to Wite. "Cezare Island? We are actually looking for civilizations. Could you lead us to your home? I would love to meet such a place. Is everyone there like you? Do you have Pokemon?" She looked at Owen. "Prepare her some dry clothes and dinner. She can stay in my room, so she doesn't catch a cold. Mal sure to take everything there."
She turned back to Wite. "Let's go to my room. You need to stay warm. Plus, you can take a warm bath." Azumi smiled as she lead the way.

Wite resisted the urge to lash out and bite the Pokémon, instead she huffed out her nose in annoyance. "I can take you guys to land, but maybe when the sun has risen. I'm sorry but I'm stil a bit disoriented to give proper directions."

Azumi's question about her owning Pokémon brought the thought of Blitz and Hydra in her mind, in a way she she glad they were not here with her. "Yes I own two, they are obviously not with me at the moment, hopefully they aren't too worried about me. And no, not every one at the city I'm from looks like me, I'm an odd case, I'm not sure where I'm from, other than that I was adopted." Wite shook her head and body similar to how a wet dog would. Normally, she hated baths but having salt water in her fur is far worse. "A bath sounds nice, not a fan of salt water drying in my fur." Wite followed Azumi looking around at the other passengers of the ship as she passed them.

Azumi led Wite into her room. She showed her the towels, clothing and the door that lead to the bathroom. "You're more then welcome to use any clothes you would like. There is warm water, just fill the tub." She smiled as she spoke to the new arrival. "I'm sorry, we have been traveling for a month now and finding you is, well... Really exciting. I can't wait to tell my little boy about you." She pointed at a portrait of Leon and Samantha. "That's them, I miss them terribly and just when I was thinking of giving up, you appeared. Bringing hope with you." Azumi sat down on her bed. "Are you hungry? I can have dinner brought to you."

Wite glanced at the portraits gave a sideways smile. "Cute kids... must be hard being away from them for so long." Wite inspected the clothes that were available. "Thanks for the offer, but I would like to wear my own, if I could get them washed. I'll put something on while they dry. And don't worry, we should only be a few days away from land or else you guys would have already spotted land. I'll bet being stuck on a boat for a month in the middle of the water must be very mentally and physically taxing." Wite undressed out of her clothing once the tub filled up, her clothing were laced with latent demonic magics that assisted her flow of power and enhanced her overall abilities among other things. But unless she was wearing them, the magics lay hidden and dormant and the clothing would appear as nothing more than mundane items.

"Some food would be nice, yes, meats if possible, I'm not much of a vegetable person as you can probably tell." Wite laughed sheepishly as she stepped into the tub and submerged herself ears and all. She seemed much larger than she was due to her fur fanning out in the water, especially her tail which was longer and bushier than the average Hellhound... then again she was not an average Hellhound. She reemerged and laid low in the the tub enjoying the warmth of the water her hands running through her hair and ears making sure they were fully clean, the jingles of her many earrings were calming to her, something she retained from her true home.

Razan knew that he would have to act fast. If he let them surround him, he could be in more trouble than he already was in. The hooded Mann gritted his teeth, and lunges foreword. A lighting fast side kick to the side of the first man sent him crashing to the wall of the alley, and was knocked out.
One
The others saw this, and decided that they needed to attack all at once. They all drew knives and charged. The hooded man dodged two of them, but the last one grazed his cheek, leaving a small cut.
A high powered gust of wind blew two of them back into the wall, and crumpled to the floor.
Two.
Three.
The fourth tried to punch him in his rib she, but the hooded man ducked down, and forcefully kneeled him in the attackers gut.
Four.
All was silent around him. Where was the last one? Did he run off?
SHUNK
A knife stabbed straight into him from behind. The man who had originally lured him here grinned wildly, and laughed.
The hooded man stayed in his position, seeming to Ben paralyzed by the shock of the blow.
“I DID IT! I KILLED THE WHITE SHADOW! HOW ABOUT THAT FOR REVENGE?!”
The attacked laughed, and he still gripped the knife that impaled the man. He had attracted a crowd o people, most of them gasping. Their hero had been killed. Who would protect them now?

Then a tall man with white hair stepped out of the crowd, Razan, the only weather mage in Kelan. People looked at him with confusion. He had a bandage on his cheek.

Razan sighed as he looked at the criminal who had impales the hooded man.
“You guys are so damn predictable. I wanted a fight and you gave me a petting zoo.”

The attacked looked confused. “Wha- what do you mean? I killed-“

“A decoy,” Razan blankly stated, and with a flick of his hand the impaled figure disappear into mist.

“NO! I KILLED HIM! YOU-WHAT DID YOU DO HIM?!”, the man yelled.

The citizens looked at each other, unsure of what was going to happen.

Razan sighed and shook his head. “Idiot, I am the White Shadow.”

The crowd gasped. Their crime fighting hero had been a stormbreaker all along?

“And that,” Razan said, pointing at the cloak the man had ripped though, “was a decoy I made when you were sneaking up on me an not looking. Better luck next time.”

“NO! YOU WILL DIE! I’LL KILL YOU RIGHT HERE!” The man said as he threw his knife at Razan. The weather mage sidestepped it, and caught it with wind, and it floated around above Razans hand, and he shook his head. “When will you learn?”

With lighting fast speed, Razan jumped up and ran right at him, seeming to run through the air as he created footholds were he stepped in the wind. In a matter of a second, he uppercutted the man, sending him launching backwards into the wall.
Five.

The crowd cheered as Razan stood there, heavily breathing.

Annette walked into Azumi's room and noticed Wite soaking in the bathtub. Before she could say anything though, Azumi spoke first. "Bring Wite some food, make sure it's a nice steak and some delicious wine."
Annette didn't say anything an walked outside. "Owen! Steak and wine for the rescued person!" She screamed.
Azumi set some clothes. "Go ahead and wear these to sleep, I will have someone clean your clothes as soon as possible. I hope you don't mind a dress. Your more then welcome to use my bed, its plenty big." She smiled.

"YES MA'AM!" Owen shouted from somewhere on the boat and thumping could be heard as he ran to the kitchens to prep what was requested.

Wite got out from the tub after feeling sufficiently clean. She resisted the urge to shake off the water and decided to dry herself off using a towel, then shaking fluffing out her fur more than she would have liked. She noticed a wide toothed comb and started brushed her self and her hair with it. "Sorry, not to sound pushy but, I'm going to use your comb, I'll get you a new once we make landfall." Wite said after taking a pause from brushing to get dressed in a simple black one-piece sleeveless dress. She held her spike collar in her hand and stared at it. She had forgotten to take it off, the pendant on it was still the symbol of her family, doubtfully anyone would recognize it here. She replaced it back onto her neck. "Never forget...." She said under her breath looking at herself in the mirror, her irises pulsed once with a slight glow as she snarled at herself for a second showing her one silver and one gold fang.

Wite stepped out from the wash room to find Owen walking into the room holding a large plate with a large piece of rare steak on it with one hand, balancing the plate on the palm of his hand and in the other he held a large bottle of wine. Wite smiled slightly seeing Owen, he still remembered how she liked her meat, slightly singed and bleeding.

Owen placed the plate and wine on the nearby table. He took out a set of silverware and placed it neatly around the plate and he ran off, only to return moments later with three wine glasses. "I am unsure if your Highness and Annette will be partaking in wine? I brought extra glasses in case you wanted to." Owen placed the glasses on the table popped the wine bottle and poured one of the glasses until it was half full then replaced it onto the table and promptly left the room with a a bow.

"Nice kid." Wite remarked watching Owen work, "If you'd excuse me..." Wite picked up her fork and knife and began digging into the meat at a rather voracious pace, her teeth shredding every piece of steak she put in her mouth with ease. She was enjoying the blood in the meat more than the meat itself. She was hungrier than she thought. Wite picked up the wine glass and swirled the liquid around inside and sniffed it, enjoying the fruit fragrances before taking a small sip. "If you don't mind me asking, why would you decide to come to this exploration voyage your self Azumi? Especially if you have young children and leaving the kingdom open to possible usurpers? Aren't there other qualified sailors and expedition teams that you can send?" Wite asked taking another sip of wine and running her free hand though her voluminous hair. Her ear twitched in response jingling the rings on it.

Azumi served herself a cup of glass and drank as she watched Wite eat. She was still impressed by her, since it was her first time seeing some like that. She did notice the pendant, but it was none of her business to ask about something that was obviously precious.
"If you want things done right, do them yourself." She replied with a smile. "Besides, my kingdom is safe. It pains me to leave my children, but I can't refuse the opportunity to discover new lands and adventure."

Annette walked in, looking a little annoyed. "Ugh, Ariel was asking for books on demons. I'm like, that has nothing to do with me, I only brought books relates to the jewels, the ocean and my water training." She noticed Wite. "Oh, sorry didn't notice you there. You're really pretty! How do you do your nails?"

Azumi cleared her throat. "Annette, do you mind fixing a bed for our guest? It's late and we are all tired."

"Right away!" Annette rushed outside. "Owen!" She yelled. "We need an extra bed set up in here!"

Razan was completely oblivious of the crowd around him, and of his actions.

I just revealed my identity....

It had struck him now. He was cornered. The civilians continued to cheer and come closer. He backed up, fearful of what would happen.

...............................................take him. He’s the one we were told about.........the weather element.............................................

Razan clutched his head. This was not the time! Not now! Pain seared through him. White hot pain. He didn’t see the crowd anymore. When he looked up, he strangely saw only dark figures, their eyes glowing red. Razan cried as the pain continued to torture him.

................take him.......the letter..............inside the piano......hurry........

Razan passed out...

Startled, Razan woke up atop his Flygon, who had snatched him up when he saw his master in pain. They were soaring through the wind above the city. Flygon was going somewhere and Razan knew.

***************************************
Several minutes later, when Razan recovered from the hallucinations he had experienced, Flygon set down Razan outside to the guild house, who was massaging his temples to get rid of the pain. He slowly walked in, and immediately smelled the bread as he walked in.
“Ashley? Are you here?”

Storm was on the deck of the ship. He had cast a spell to enlarge his caldrun to it's normal size. It had been shrunk down for carring purposes. It had been awhile since he had made any new potions, and he had borrowed a book from Annette to see what he could do.

Let's just say it did not go well for the witch. It seemed that the witch was not that great at being careful when mixing potions, and added too much of one ingredient. Which caused the whole mixture to explode, sending the witch high into the air. "DANG IT!" Could be heard as the boat shook from the explosion, and Storm went falling into the water.

Alice grumbled as she went back to work. A new passenger. One that made her feel slightly uneasy. Though, anyone who was a new variable in any of her heists she was suspicious of. Just her nature. What didn't help was this new person was a flipping wolf! A wolf-person! Was no one fazed by this fact, other than her of course? She looked up and saw a Wingull. Her client. She motioned for it to land and read the note. She pocketed it and wrote a reply before handing it to the messenger and watching it fly off. Her client was starting to get impatient, and she didn't like it when her clients were impatient.

Nora woke with the sound of the boom and the shaking of the vessel. She rubbed her weary eyes and got out of bed. Creeping towards the door, not to wake anyone, she made her way to the the deck. The night was chilly in her threadbare night gown. Shivering in the night and hugging herself, she looked around. "Hello! Who's out there?"

Just as the dragon tamer came up to the deck, a large splash could be heard as Storm plummeted into the water. Though the witch was pretty smart, Storm did not know how to swim. It was something he never really learned to do as he was always in his land locked village.

Aura was not surprised that Storm was sent into the water. Though she was concerned for her friend as he did not know how to swim. With quick thinking, Aura sent a message to Nana. "Hello Nana, we have a slight problem. Storm was sent overboard. Could you let Azumi know?"

Storm on the other hand was in the water. His arms were flailing about as he tried to keep himself up out of the water. Though he probably could have used his powers to hoist himself out of the water, he was to scared to think about them. "Someone help!" Storm said as he was pulled under the water.

Rene stepped outside rubbing her eyes. She noticed Nora doing the same. Before she could ask the dragon tamer what was going on, there was a splash on the side of the boat. Rene looked over the edge and saw someone struggling to swim.

Rene snapped awake. "Woa! Someone's down there! Nora, get some rope, I'm going in!" The elf jumped over, she didn't know how to dive so she just did a cannon ball.

Once Rene hit the water, she shivered as her temperature began to drop. She slowly made her way to Storm and grabbed his hand, pulling him closer to her. She wasn't a great swimmer, so keeping them both floating was a big struggle that took all her strength. Now, they just had to wait for the rope.

Nora looked at Rene like she was insane before frantically looking for a rope. She found one. After grabbing the rope, she rushed over to the rail of the boat and tied one end to a metal knob nearby before tossing the other end to them. "Rene, that must have been the stupidest thing I've ever seen! Now get back up here!"

Rene dragged Storm along. "Try not to swallow water, it's really gross, trust me I know."

Once she had a good grip of the rope, she pulled herself and Storm to the edge of the boat. Rene wasn't strong enough to pull herself up, less with Storm. She tied the rope around Storm's waist. It was better to have him go up first and then help her get up.

"Pull Storm up!" Rene said as she tried to catch her breath. It was so cold!

Nana was busy complaining with Anakin when she received Aura's message. "I'm not talking to Azumi!" She replied. "She is too busy with her new best friend. Here I am being loyal to her for like, forever and then she dumps me for some random Beartic looking woman, who by the way is not as pretty as I am and probably doesn't like cookies. It's just so frustrating that she cared more about her opinion then mine, I mean I can read minds! What can she do? Sit and roll over? She should go play dead!"

Wite took another sip of wine as she listened to Azumi, "That's true, but then why not bring the children long? Let them see the world, make history together so to speak."

When Annette returned it slightly startled Wite but that was simply her being slightly on edge. 'Books on demons?' She stared at Annette as she spoke and complimented her. "Thank you, that's very kind, my nails just grow like this, naturally black, and I just file a little bit to sharpen them." Wite looked at her nails, her hand felt a naked with out her finger-less gloves. Wite chuckled under her breath hearing Annette getting ordered to set up a bed only to have her pass the task to Owen.

"Aye, aye ma'am!" Owen confirmed. 'Aww crud... Wite doesn't really like sleeping on beds... I wonder if I can find something similar to her nest at home?' Owen looked around the provisions supply room, Spike was running around looking for nothing, he was just excited.

"Um...' One of Wite's ears turned to the sound outside, "There was wan explosion of some kind and it sounded like two people just went overboard." Wite turned he head to face the sounds outside.

Owen returned a few moments later carrying way more stuff than his little body should have been capable of. He had four large thick blankets, two hanging off of each arm. In his hands he dragged a large circular wooden basin large enough to fit two people comfortably inside, and he was balancing a large pillow bridging across his arms. He dropped the wooden basin and tossed the pillow into it along with the blankets. Owen was huffing out of breath. "I'm sorry but this was all I could manage to find you Highness."

"Oh, that looks perfect, I'm not much of a bed person, but I can make a makeshift nest with this." Wite said before Azumi could say anything. "Thanks Owen." Wite placed her empty wine glass back on the table and got up to help Owen move the wooden basin into an open space out of the way and near a corner. She spread the blankets out and folded them into each other while draping it around the edges of the basin, in moments the basin had changed into a soft blanket covered nest, that somewhat resembled a very large dog bed, but lavish. "This is perfect, thanks!" Wite remarked giving Owen hug before sending him off.

Owen would occasionally get hugs from Wite when they were lone back home though sometimes he slept in her nest, Especially now since he had not seen her for several months. He always enjoyed the times he gets them, she's so soft and her fur feels so fluffy and smooth to the touch.

Azumi looked around. "An explosion? Nana hasn't said anything. So it must be under control. Don't worry you're safe here." Azumi yawned. "We should get some sleep, you're free to roam the boat and come in and out as much as you please."

Annette looked confused. "An explosion and two overboard and you're going to ignore that?"

Azumi yawned. "Is the situation getting worse?"

Annette shook her head. Azumi hid under her covers. Annette looked at Wite. "Sorry, it's been a long trip."

Wite shrugged, the situation outside seemed to have calmed down. She settled down in her makeshift nest, now full and ready to sleep again for the second time. Getting suddenly pulled into the space between spaces while sleeping due to her fellow cultists being incompetent sacks does not make for a pleasant experience. Wite drifted to sleep soon after closing her eyes.

Owen went back to watch duty after the Queen and most of the other passengers went to sleep. The Captain had also retired back to her quarters once everything settled back down. She didn't care much for the wet dog they fished up, but if she turned out to be an issue she would hold the Queen responsible. As harsh and strict as she is, she still cares about her crew and the well being of the ship and its other passengers.

Razan nodded and sat down. “The code spelled out Piano. And-and my family had a piano. They have to be connected...I mean, I don’t know what else it would be....”
His pained expression didn’t leave his face as he talked, because he was in pain.
“I feel like myself is against me sometimes...it’s soo strange, like it’s trying to tell you something, but in the wrong way. When I fought all five of them earlier, I heard voices, I didn’t know whose, but they said, ‘he’s the one we were told about, and something about a letter and a piano, I think that might have been a memory from when I was taken.......”
He closed his eyes and rubbed them, trying to get rid of the everlasting pain.
“I think CrossBlade wanted me to go back Ashley.”

Spike was barking towards the Knight ship for a moment before he caught Owen's attention. It was rather difficult to see in the night despite the sparely lit lanterns on the ships. Owen ran over to Spike to calm him down as to not disturb the Queen, Wite, or Eudora. He took out his spyglass from his sash and looked over.

There was clearly splashing at the side of the boat in the water, "It's been over a month and now people decide to jump overboard?" Owen looked at Spike who returned his look with his version of a shrug. Owen two fingers into his mouth and just blew out a large amount of air and spat all over Spike who let out an annoyed bark. He laughed to himself, "Sorry about that buddy. Well lets try that again." He re-positioned his fingers and lips and blew out long sharp whistle. The Pidgeot over head awoke with a few flaps of his wings and looked down at Owen. "There's some people on Knight that fell overboard in the water and it seems like they're having trouble getting them back up, may you go help them?"

Without any signs of acknowledgement the Pidgeot took off towards Knight. He quickly spotted his targets and rapidly ascended higher into the sky before turning around and rapidly dove towards the two people in the water. At the last moment the Pidgeot spread his wing and swooped by grabbing Rene by the arms and shoulders, easily hoisting her out of the water, the left over momentum allowed the Pidgeot to glide up to the edge of the boat and drop the her back onboard. He spent no time idling and left afterwards returning to his perch and settled down, assuming Rene would fish up Storm.

"Thanks big guy." Owen said giving the Pidgeot a thumbs up. The Pidgeot nodded and went back to sleep.

Ashley felt his forehead, not picking up any signs of fever, and the took her hand off of his forehead. She then responded, "It sounds like an internal struggle, and let's prepare first before we leave, okay?"

Ashley was worried about him, and was ready to take care of him should anything go wrong on this trip.

Tempest woke up to the sound of his Leafeon throwing up.

"Leafeon!" Tempest yelled out.

Rocco woke up, angry, "TEMPEST, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?"

"Leafeon's not feeling well." Tempest explained to the pissed off Rocco.

The volcano roared as it spewed more lava. It was at a safe distance, but the bridge that connected the volcano to the island was becoming a gateway for the lava to follow. A man stood at the end of the bridge. He was wearing a full black armor with a red cape. His black wavy hair moved along with the hot air. His sharp black eyes focused on the volcano. "The Ignis stone is in there?" He placed his long black sword over his shoulders. "This will be interesting."

Annette stood outside. She watched as the Pidgeot flew over and helped someone on the Knight ship. She watched for a while until everything seemed to be okay. She sighed loudly. She wasn't sleeping. She took a long nap during the day. But what now? She rested her head on her hands and watched the ocean.

“Right. Prepare,” Razan said to himself.
He didn’t feel sick. He felt as if a part of himself was missing. A part of himself he couldn’t live without. One of those parts was Ashley, the other part, was himself.
“I-I really don’t know what’s going to happen...I-I might....I don’t know.....”

Castform saw Windchime slicing the bread, and gladly nibbled on a piece.
