Ask to Join Pokemon Tag Dueling Competition

* * *

Registrations to the pokémon tag dueling competition had begun that week. It took Aon almost a week to reach at the island, but thankfully he could do it on time. Finding the pokemon center that trainers were going to register was easy, it was this one giant building in the middle of the island, right next to the hospital. The city was very small other than that actually, rest of the island was a forest and outside of the forest there was a giant harbor. Aon had never seen that much ship at the same place. He had followed a path combining the city with the harbor by going deeper in the forest, to reach the city.

Aon sighed, heading towards the big white door that was in the shape of a pokeball. It was a really big building which had two floors but still the entrance where people were registering to the competition was so crowded that day, leaving no space to walk even. Floors were white, decorated with some pokémon portres. Second floor was designed for people who had already registered and were waiting for the list to be announced, list which people randomly matched as tag duelling partners were going to be announced.

That was the first ever tag duel competition but trainers were very interested in it all around the world. Rewards were satisfying for many, some was in need of fame, some was in need of money and some just wanted the necklace of "Greatest Tag Dueling" for their collection. Aon wanted none of those, he was just enjoying his adventure.

Aon had blue eyes and his white hair was covering his forehead up until his eyebrows. He had a small nose, perfectly fitting with his slim body shape. He was wearing a tight white shirt as always, and a blue trouser. His sports shoes were black, while his hands were inside the pocket of his trouser as always. He was just an ordinary type, really. As it was his turn, finally, he calmly walked towards the woman who was responsible of registering people to the competition. It took him only a few seconds and after that he was suggested to wait at the second floor until his partner was going to be announced.

Rules of the competition were actually simple. The actual competition was going to be held after 9 months, but within this 9 months a team was supposed to collect 7 medals by defeating master trainers placed randomly in the other islands. Although many people were joining, only very few could make it through the actual competition. Aon was thinking and hoping that he was going to be matched with someone he may get along well with while he was sitting at one of those red chairs provided at the second floor. Having fun throughout this adventure was the thing that only mattered for him. He was now on his 14, and it had been quite some time since he became a trainer. He had been through a lot of good and bad events, and built a strong and serious understanding of training. He remembered his first pokémon, which he could never leave behind. They were travelling to an island with his father, on their ships. Normally Skrelps are pokemons who live and stick together, forming a poisonous habitat for defensive reasons. One, however, was somehow seperated from his group and they found him close to the surface of the sea. Little pokémon was so afraid and sad that Aon couldn't help himself but wanted to take good care of him, giving him another chance; another family. He was poisoned dozens of times but at the end he could train his Skrelp.

Aon then remembered how Skrelp evolved years after that smilingly. Skrelp became a very strong and kind Dragalge. After deciding on becoming a trainer, his pokemon became more than what they are but a friend for him, and no matter what happens they were always together. So they were going to be, throughout this competition!

A 13 year old with brown hair and a white suit came off his own Cruise Liner. Robert walked down the boardwalk to the registration desk. He entered the building, and cut through the line to be in first. He walked up to the second floor, and sat down. "Ah, the Tropics." Robert sighed. "Such a boring place. I have been to it, like, 100 times already." He knew who his partner was, his butler. He paid them for it to be like that. "No one will be able to beat my Dog Pokemon. They have been trained by the best tutors, and have used the best Tms and Hms in the land!" He chuckled. The table next to him stared at him and mumbled something about Robert being a Spoiled Brat.

Lilith stepped onto the boardwalk and adjusted his hat to shield his eyes from the sun. Even so, he squinted in the light, and walked towards the registration building. As he waited in line, he felt how lucky he was to have an opportunity like this. He had never gone outside a 5 mile radius of his home. After registering, he walked up to the second floor. He sat in a chair and put his hands in his pockets. Lilith then thought of the reason he came here. To have the best bond with his Pokemon. He smiled as he picked up the Pokeball that contained Lyn, his Espeon. "I don't care if I lose." He muttered under his breath. "I'm gonna strengthen my bond with my Pokemon either way."

Alexis walked up twords the pokemon center where she, and many others, would be signing up to join the pokemon tag team competition. Well to clarify, they would be signing up to be eligible to be in the competition. 9 months will pass before the competition would actually start. During this time each team would need to collect 7 medals from each island by defeating master trainers.

She opened the pokeball door to reveal a white crowded room. Alexis nimbly made her way through the crowd to the reception desk. She register as alexis noticed a few people gave cunfused glances her way. Alexis ignored them though, this sort of thing was almost common to her. After all, what 14 year old wear a mask and headphones.

Alexis walked upstairs. It was less crowded than down stairs, but she knew it would slowly fill up. In this time the girl examined her fellow competitors from her spot near a window. She notted the two boys who look normal and just about the same age as her. However the sigh of a snob caught her. 'What did you expect alexis?' She thought, 'Oh course one would be here.'

Alexis shifted her bag as she looked once again around the room. It wouldn't be easy just to slip away from here. No one would notice, but she couldn't. Alexis was here to win after all.

Alec sighed impatiently as his ship finally settled into harbor, excruciatingly slow. He would've killed to simply fly in, but he was worried for Kali, as she was the only Pokémon he had that was big enough for him to fly on. She might have made the trip easily, but Alec couldn't be sure what effect long-term exposure to the salty, seawater air might have on her steel body, and he wasn't keen on finding out.

Regardless, they were here now, and he brought his attention back to the building that he was approaching. It was fairly close, so he elected to go on foot and take in the lively sights surrounding him. This Tag Dueling competition must have stirred up some serious publicity, because there looked to be people from all walks of life that he passed, as well as some Pokemon that he'd never even seen before.

He finally reached the building where he'd been told to register, and it was quite intimidating, especially considering the crowd of people all waiting to be registered. Alec didn't do particularly well with crowds, but he waited regardless, fidgeting with a Pokéball as he did so.

When it was finally his turn, he registered his information with the woman up front, who suggested that he wait upstairs with some of the other competitors. He did so, and almost sighed with relief at the less noisy atmosphere. It was still pretty crowded, but not as much so as the lower floor.
