It's once again that time when the Sinnoh League hosts it's Regional Championship to see who may be strong enough to challenge the Elite Four. Trainers from around the world have gathered at the shot to become a Regional Sinnoh League Tournament Champion.
Rules:
1. Remember we go by anime/RP rules when it comes to battles, meaning a Body Slam by a Snorlax may be less effective against a Sawk using Agility. (Long story short, remember this isn't a game)
2. Have Fun with this, remember it's an RP, not a real Regional Championship you've been prepping for your whole life.
3.Eventually people will be forced to battle each other, decide the winner however you like, discuss and come to a mutual agreement, in the bio put the dex number of your favorite Pokemon, use Showdown (set guidelines and play fair), Rock Paper Scyther, or heck even play Monopoly (okay maybe not that last one we all still want to be friends.
4. Romance is aloud, PG13 only you crazy kids.
5. You may have up to 2 Characters, 1 will be participating in the tournament, the other will be to the sidelines (unless you discuss with me otherwise).
6. If you don't reply within a week to the RP you will be kicked out, (unless you've told me something important is happening)
7.Post regularly, not once a week because then I'll be removing you from the tournament.
8. Be realistic in battle, these may be magical creatures but physics still apply.
9. Don't constantly dodge attacks, get creative, block with moves, use moves in different scenarios, do the cupid shuffle, just don't be dodging every attack.
10. Only 7 people will be accepted, once that's filled no one else will be allowed into the RP
11. If I feel that you lack RP experience I most likely will ask for a sample of your writing.
12. No Fakemon or Battle Bond.
13. Finally, remember to be familiar with the RP Rules here
Battlefields
Rock Field- Many boulders are spread across the rock hard surface, these rocks range from large to small and can be used to the advantage of trainers as either a higher vantage point from which to attack, or as cover from certain attacks.
Grass Field- The field is covered with a neatly trimmed field of grass providing not much coverage for either side.
Dirt Field- The field is perfectly flat, it's your standard Pokemon Battlefield.
Water Field-A large pool of water, big enough to hold a Wailord and only Wailord. Platforms are scattered across so any Pokemon who may not be very strong swimmers can still battle.
Ice Field- Much like the Rock field, with large icebergs jutting out and the base of the field is covered with ice.
The Tournament
Round 1- 3v3 (RPers vs NPC)
Round 2- 3v3 (RPers vs NPC)
Round 3- 3v3 (The Bloodbath begins)
Round 4- 6v6 (Semi Finals)
Round 5- 6v6 (Final)
*In terms of the battle against NPC I don't really care too much how you intend to do it, you can write out a full battle or do a post of you beating them, it doesn't matter to much since the NPC's are mostly just throwaways, sorry to all the NPC's out there*
**Edit: Please not that in this roleplay Held Items aside from Z-Crystals and Mega Stones are essentially useless simply because they are game specific, a small sash won't protect your Rattata from a One-Hit KO.**

Pokemon: Landon has done a lot of travelling which has earned his quite a lot of Pokemon and whenever he returns from a journey he always visits them and trains with them.
Personality: Landon cares for both his friends and his Pokemon and hates to fail either of them so he typically will become sad and distant when he has let down a close friend. Landon is very passionate about his dream to become the Champion of the Sinnoh Region and always works hard alongside his Pokemon to achieve that goal. Landon is also both nervous and easy-going causing him to look dumb or sound dumb.
Appearance: Landon has long dirty blonde hair and green eyes, as for his fashion, he is often told by others that he has none, often wearing clothes that don't match or are just out of style, however he has sworn off wearing hats since they mess up his hair and he never carries a comb. Landon also wears a Key Stone on a necklace which he received from Master Gurrkin in the Kalos Region after training under him.

Other: Mizu was Landon's first Pokemon he had ever received, so the two tend to act a lot alike. Mizu was offered the chance to train, after Landon lost a town tournament, by the winner alongside his top Pokemon. Mizu was conflicted with the decision but Landon insisted that Mizu do what it want and the two parted ways so Mizu could train as Landon continued his journey. However Mizu gladly returns to Landon in order to help in any battles.

Other: Kue was the first Pokemon Landon hatched from an Egg. Kue only had Landon to look to as a roll-model so it always looks up to him. Ironically Kue was nickname when Landon sneezed, while trying to think of a nickname, Kue mimicked the "Chu" into "Kue" and began laughing, so Landon decided on that name.

Personality: Lyra is very happy to meet new people, and usually geeks out when she sees a new Pokemon or one that is slightly different from other ones, even if no one else can tell the difference. Lyra also had a very caring and nurturing side to her, from her experience as an assistant she usually can help a Pokemon if it's sick or injured. She becomes easily flustered when someone's shoulders are showing. Finally she is Landon's girlfriend.
