Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution Comes to Netflix In February

It has been announced that the latest Pokémon movie, Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution, will be released exclusively on Netflix worldwide on February 27th.

The film is a 3D CG remake of Pokémon: The First Movie and has met a mixed reception among fans. A trailer for the movie can be seen above and showcases the English dub. The 27th of February also happens to be Pokémon Day, which makes this a nice treat for those looking to celebrate.

I've watched this film in Japanese, so likely won't rewatch it in English. It's honestly fairly inoffensive, beyond all of the characters looking like toys, but doesn't bring anything new to the table either. The original movie was perfectly fine, and watching this remake only proved that further.

I'll be curious to hear what people think of the dub if anyone does watch it though!

I've gotta say, Ash and Misty's designs look horrible, and Brock's design is confusing.
