Open Pokemon: Apocalyptic Future (Discussion)

It's been 100 years since the Apocalypse occurred, causing extreme damage to all the regions, and the disappearance of the Champions of Sinnoh, Hoenn and Kalos, along with the Frontier Brains. The three regions are rebuilding, but it's been slow going for them. Your character will be in Sinnoh, looking for hints as to where the Pokemon of the champions and the Frontier Brains would be hidden, as well as fighting off other trainers that attack you. These pokemon are key to stopping The Dreary, who caused the apocalypse one hundred years ago, are also five factions for your character to choose from, and two sub factions based on character ancestry.

The Guardian Battlers- This Faction is basically the law enforcement in this post Apocalyptic world. They are to maintain order and law at all times.

@ThAtGuY101 will be giving the last two factions when he gets ideas.

The Bandit Raiders- They are a crime syndicate robbing trainers of their money, their goal is to rob the world of their money and leave it for themselves.

The Renegade Vigilantes- A faction founded by one of the Maze Guardian's descendants, of an unknown bloodline, in tribute to the Cloaked Rider, which was discovered to be none other than Firey when he disappeared. This faction is a rising power in the world.



The Blood of the Frontier: This is a sub faction, which means that this can be with one of the main five. Generally made of Descendants of the Frontier Brains, they are, as of the disappearance, Regis (Factory Head Noland's son), Salon Maiden Anabel, Arena Tycoon Greta, Dome Ace Tucker, Pike Queen Lucy, Palace Maven Spenser, Pyramid King Brandon (deceased at time of Apocalypse), and Maze Guardian Firey (Brandon's replacement). Lineage can be made up except for Firey. His descendants come from one of four lineages, Jason (Alyssa Seaboard), James, Laura, and Emma (Already taken). This is a title that a character may have, but cannot have 'Blood of the Champion.'

Appearance: Valestina is 5'7", on a busty frame with long, silver hair tied into a loose ponytail, the hair reaches her rear, golden eyes, wearing a long silver cloak with green on the inside, under the cloak is a dark blue collared shirt, with a badge on the left side of the chest area, and pockets on the chest area as well, she also wears dark blue pants, with a Silver stripe. She wears brown work shoes. She wears a locket made of electrum, a mix of gold and silver, with a picture of her ancestors from Firey to her mother.
Personality: Valestina is serious, stern, and slightly aloof on the outside, but when you crack that outer layer, sweet and caring, but shy when it comes to love.
Ancestry: Firey Argentston via Emma (The Blood of the Frontier)
Pokemon: Quagsire, Bisharp, Hydreigon, Xatu, Bewear, and Volcarona.
Faction: The Guardian Battlers (Lieutenant of Branch)
Backstory: Valestina was born to a battler of Kalos, and a breeder, her heritage is a mix of Kalosian, Hoennian, and Unovan. When she was ten, she joined the academy for The Guardian Battlers, graduating at 13 years old with high honors, she was assigned to The Hearthome branch and rose to Lieutenant in about two and a half years.

Heres the last two factions. I'll try make a character soon;

The Travelers: The travelers are misfits ,and outcasts ,and all sorts of people. The Travelers accept anyone as long as they are open minded and accepting of The Traveler's guide. The Traveler's guide is a lifestyle, "Live and let live" meaning, most travelers simply do whatever they please ,and most travelers just overlook it. Things can be pretty hectic ,but whenever anything truly bad happens the travelers will vote on how to solve the problem. The outcasts are mostly good people ,but there are also thieves, drug addicts, con artists ,and all sorts of people frowned upon by society. They are called The Travelers because they live a very nomadic lifestyle.

Superius Genus: Superius Genus is latin for 'Upper class' Superius Genus was founded several years before the apocalypse began. The founding members of the faction knew that one day the apocalypse would occur. The Superius Genus not only survived the apocalypse ,but thrived. The faction has many had several setbacks ,but has managed to persevere. Many of the members within Superius Genus are relatives of the founding members ,but lately their has been a rise in population from outside sources. Many of the long standing members were not happy about outsiders joining their ranks ,but over the years the newer generations have come to be more accepting of outsiders into their ranks. Superius Genus is a very ambitious group of people who wish to seek control like they had done before the apocalypse. Some of the members are so ambitious that they would even backstab their own members in order to climb the ranks.

Appearance: Dolan has faded brown hair which goes stops at his eye brows ,and combed to the right. The back of his hair stops just above his collar line. He has strands of blonde hair here and there. his eyes are icey blue, his skin is slightly tan, and he always has a goofy grin on his face.
Dolan wears a blue and green vertically striped dress shirt, brown cargo pants with various patches in different shapes and colors, He wears a hoodie(open with various pockets sewn into it. He wears purple socks with red and orange running shoes. He also wears three watches on his left arm. Both his shirt sleeve and hoodie sleeve on his left arm are rolled up so he can look at his watches at all times. One watch is silver, one watch is bronze ,and the other is yellow with a pikachu in the center. All three of the watches have different times on them. All three of the watches are set in three different time zones. Hoenn(silver), Kalos(bronze ,and Sinnoh(yellow).
Personality: Dolan is a bit of a strange lad. He's friendly ,but oftentimes stares into space ,and says some of the most random stuff sometimes. He has little to no concept of personal space and has no problem walking up to people and hugging them. He's a fairly laid back boy that enjoys doing things casually and at his own pace ,but can toughen up when the situation requires it. He's a somewhat well mannered kid ,but his table manners leaves room to be desired.

Faction: The Travelers.
Backstory: Dolan's mother is an ace trainer ,but a con artist. Dolan's father is a fortune teller ,but an alcoholic. Dolan grew up to have his mother's love of pokémon ,and his father's psychic powers. Through psychic abilities Dolan can levitate small objects , bend spoons ,and do small magic tricks. Most of his magic abilities have no use in combat or serve much of a purpose other than entertainment ,buut he enjoys using them. he grew up in The Travelers faction and has seen a lot of good and bad people ,and has traveled around quite a bit since The Travelers faction is a nomadic one.

Other: Dolan's favorite tricks involve cards or his pocket watch. A gold pocket watch he keeps in his hoodie pocket most of the times.

Is it okay if The Travelers don't have ranks? I like to think everyone's opinions are equal. Some members might be stronger or more respected than others ,but there are no specifically designated ranks to assert one over another.

That's a good question... I guess I didn't think about that. I don't wanna outright say nuclear warfare ,but I can't think of any alternatives. Do you got any idea, playful? I don't know if Cmeri thought about that ,but I'm open to suggestions.

Superius Genus will control Jubilife City. The large towers in Jubilife city makes it a perfect place for Superius Genus to thrive in its corporate lifestyle.

The Travelers though nomadic in nature lay claim to Celestic City. As nomads they travel around. They frequently visit the three lakes; Lake Varity, Lake Acuity ,and Lake Valor. Even though they frequently visit the three lakes, they do not lay claim to them.

She grew up in deceit and quickly became ruthless, only thinking of herself and the betterment of her Pokemon (the only ones she trusted).

Name: Marc Duran

Gender: cis Male
Sexuality: questioning
Appearance: A 5'9 (he says its 6'0) young man with sharp facial features, brown eyes and short dark hair. With that light Kalosian skin, he might not be the most muscular man his age, but he's decently built after his rigorous training sessions with a typical square frame.
Personality: He's bended in the will justice, but that sometimes causes him to jump into situations head first without thinking. He can be stubborn at times and not willing to change his thinking, but he might change his mind, if its force. He was raised with manners in mind, but he is dedicated to his goal and isn't letting anyone stand in his way, even if that means getting hurt sometimes. He treasures his pokemon companions greatly and considers them to be his best friends.

He became apart of the Guardian Battlers, and has taken a personal vow to try and find whoever started this (Okay mister, too big of a task for just your little 5'9 self.)
