Quite a couple decades ago, the Omnic Crisis began. Humans found themselves at a losing war against robots. Thus, the United Nation had declared a need to form an organization, called Overwatch, by bring best operatives within each nation. Overwatch was a success and the humans had claimed victory. But not all victories contain a happy ending. A decent amount of years after the crisis went by and Overwatch had to be shut down from the Petras Act made by the United Nations. This was due to many allegations the organization had and the discovery of Blackwatch, a secret covert division in Overwatch, had been discovered. To present day, all Overwatch operations are declared illegal and punishable.

You will be role-playing as an agent of Overwatch, carrying out missions and operations given to you. Missions will vary and take place globally as Overwatch operates worldwide. But you would also be keeping on the low as you are still illegal. Eventually, if the role-play last, you may find your character part of another Omnic Crisis. (If you do have any more ideas for this roleplay, please feel free to tell me via Private Messages)
Note you can also play as the villain, aka an agent of Talon but also not necessarily needed to be an agent of Talon, you would just be an agent under them instead of OW.
Most likely our discussion and form of planning the roleplay would be done through Private Group Conversations

Ultimate: Radiation (Sol places his lance in the ground as it glows a fiery red-orange. The hot lance heats up the ground that heals allies 100 HP per second and deals 50 damage per second to enemies. Lasts up to 10 seconds with a 10 meter radius. Ultimate: Nature's Wrath (Holly lobs a container of her ammo formula. Once it hits a surface thats not an enemy, vines and thorns begin to sprout and grow from the ground in an 8 meter radius. Anyone trapped within the circle will have their speed slowed and take 45 dmg per second. 1 sec cast time, lasts 7 seconds)

If anything like Junkrat's steel trap, it's a movement prevention trap. Thus meaning the heroes can't move but a couple are able to use their abilities still (Reaper-Wrathe, Moira-Fade, Mei-Cyrofreeze, Genji-Deflectetc). The ability should not be an ability where a character cannot fight for themselves after getting ensnared by the ability. This ability should only hinder their movements, but ultimately nothing else. The opposite of this would be Sombra and her Hacks. She takes away the heroe's abiltiies, but the are still able to move around. It should be one or the other, not both.

I'm completely fine with you reusing abilities from other characters. Like you said, it's hard to come up with abilities. But ultimately, they need to be balanced. Feel free to edit your 'Fly Trap' ability, create a new one, or destroy it completely.

There are exceptions of course such as Soldier, Roadhog, Mei, Reaper, and Brigette. You would either have to change your hero's role or change this ultimate completely. If you are keeping a defense role, I would go something along the lines of a long ranged ultimate as your character is mainly closed ranged.)

I want to make two characters, but I won't have time to make them until sometime early tomorrow morning XD One is like... Not working for either team, but still going against OW (and Talon maybe), and the other one is working with OW.

I don't know much about Overwatch besides the characters, but I'll brush up on stuff before I do anything too brash XD

it's super common for humans to be equipped with cybernetic parts, especially to accommodate for injuries, but that's the furthest we've seen. from what I can tell, humans and omnics are separate beings, even with the debate going on that questions if omnics can actually "think" or if its just advanced programming. feel free to elaborate, though, it sounds like an interesting concept :o
 
I'm kind of just taking a creation I made for Team Fortress 2 and applying it to here. Instead of Australium coating her bones though, she'll have some other metal. Although I can always change this design, since it is a different universe.

Basically she has Australium coating her bones (kind of like Wolverine: painfully infused to the bone), and the Australium helps to keep her alive (since Australium also has benefits to raising one's IQ and life past the age of 70. One can easily be 200 years old and not look a bit over 30, just as long as their body consumes enough Australium). Although, I did make her slightly OP to the point that she was practically immortal unless someone saps the Australium from her body, which could be controlled by a "machine" of sorts.

This "machine" is actually a little conscious of someone who was 11 years old. As an experiment, a group of scientists put the conscious of an 11-year-old girl in an insane asylum (love this trope XD sorry if it's completely cliche. And of course, it is in Germany, so this "asylum" was nothing more but a front) into a suit. They then took her portion and implanted it in my character after many years of trying to find her.

I was wondering if I could have an Omni instead of this girl share the same bodies as her. Basically a JARVIS that wasn't meant for her, since she'll salvage parts from downed Omnics and ask someone to weld it to her body, and this Omni will be the thing that manifests after a bit. Their sets of morals will be contradictory, and since she'll need the Omnic's armor to protect and to be faster, it'll deactivate, causing the armor portions to be brittle and she won't have her speed boost if the Omnic doesn't want her to do anything that is against its morals (which is why she can't be with Overwatch). I won't have any kind of cybernetics or anything that has to do with extending life, and this character won't be working for anyone and will be her own version of a one-man army.

Although, in the other universe, I offset this to make her primarily a melee user, so people have a chance to down her before they die. She literally can't hold a gun because it hurts her Australium bones, which react to the recoil of the gun or the energy it produces (if it's like Cow Mangler or some other energy gun in Overwatch).

I mean, we have a hero named D.Va. She basically got two parts to her too. One part of her is inside a battle mech and the other is her by herself. When her mech dies, she still continues living through her human unprotected self.

You can do something like that if you would like

that sounds pretty interesting! it's not up to me to decide, but i'd love to know more. what kind of model is the omnic programming that your character has to share a headspace with? most humanoid/civilian model omnics are peaceful, with a couple of exceptions here and there, where as other omnics built and weaponized purely for the omnic crisis aren't as advanced and follow their programming of fighting. (exceptions to this being Bastion, the Numbani OR15s, and Orisa)

In Overwatch, I'm changing the conscious of a little girl to a Combat Omni.

The vessel for such will not change much.

So XD the vessel will be a human and her name is Mara.

Mara salvages parts from a dead combat Omni.

The Omni awakens to find his body is fused to Mara.

The Omni objects but can't do anything about it because if Mara dies, he dies, because both of their vitals are together, and the Omni's mission is not complete yet, so he doesn't want to "die", yet.
 
The 11-year-old girl is just a character I used back in Team Fortress 2 and will not be used here XD she is the only one where her conscious is removed from her body.

The Omni in this universe will not have his conscious removed because his body is a part of my character's body.
 
from what i've gathered, Pichu's character is a born human with cybernetic implants. Part of her brain is fixated with omnic programming from a scrapped omnic, and they share the human body together. feel free to correct me if im wrong lmao

i'm curious, how far can the omnic programming go to take over Mara's body? you mentioned the omnic side being able to shut off her armor and hinder her, but this is super interesting so sorry im asking so many questions LMAO. i'm mainly just curious as to how much of a conscious the ai has, could it potentially speak through Mara and use her like a puppet?

Has a black halter top and black leggings, the halter top having her own symbol: Two samurai-style vibro-swords through a skull, with a clawed glove grabbing the cranium from above. She has strips of leather along her sides, which are held together with a buckle strap around her waist. The strips hold her shurikens in little pouches that easily conceal the shurikens and make it easy for her to fling them out. She has two sword sheaths for her swords. She has clips for her clawed gloves right underneath the sword sheaths. She has belt loops that go down her thighs and wrap around them. She has a loop between her gloves and swords to store a battery for her usage. She has thin biker gloves that make room for her other gloves. She has a slit in her right thigh with a pocket for her motorbike key.

Her Omnic armor comes in four parts. There is the comms system, where it can tap into enemy communication lines to the expense of them figuring out someone is listening in and can cause her location to be known if they have that sort of technology. The Omni can also talk to her in private and has a built-in mic. It is a little earpiece that extends out to her left eye and can be used as a visor to relay information about the area, as well as read Omnicode. The next part is her vitals system. This is where the Omnic entity resides. The Omni can sense the health status of Mara and can suggest a course of action. If his patience is growing thin, he'll take matters into his own hands and will control the other two parts that I will explain next. It is a piece that looks similar in design to Tracer's chest piece, but instead of a blue time manipulator, it is an orb that encases a bright light. This bright light is said to be the "soul" of an Omni, but Mara knows it is just LEDs and power capacitors that hold electricity, and these shine brighter if she's storing more electricity. It is integrated to her body. On her arms are gauntlets that make room for her clawed gloves. They look similar to Tracer's gauntlets, but are integrated to her body and are slimmer for more aerodynamics. She also has boots that are integrated to her legs. These boots and gauntlets allow for faster reflexes and added protection, as well as better channel the electricity through her body. All of the Omnic parts are painted black, with some gold showing through in some spots.

Since the Omnic armor is tapped to her nervous system and when cut apart, people can see her nerves light up blue from the Omni overcharging her nerves.

When on her motorcycle, she has a stylish black and red helmet with her symbol with a visor that helps protect against the sun's rays and sand/dirt/glass so she can see.
Personality:
This is complicated... She has 5 different parts to her personality, and some of these personalities have names.
1) Mara, her normal self, is quite calm and a little childish at times. She has all the regular emotions a regular average human has and she does have a bit of a short fuse. She's cocky when up against people she feels are dumber than she is and she's arrogant when she's with people who she thinks aren't as good as she is. She doesn't like to use projectiles because her Omni would then cause her to miss her shot from, so her accuracy is unpredictable and usually inaccurate. She just uses melee weapons, since she goes insane and a crack-shot at shooting and throwing things, and she wants to give her opponent at least a couple seconds of chance trying to stop her before she decapitates them.
2) Her insane side (no name) is the most trusted side of Mara that she has, even though this side is psychotic. She can't feel emotions (well, none of her other sides can), but she can stop herself by her own thoughts. Although, she's quite brutal and loves bloodshed, and will almost always use a particular weapon to deal the most blood pouring out of someone's body.
3) Sheila, her animal side. She doesn't talk, just growls, grunts, screeches... She also hates weapons and prefers using her bare hands. She can get quite cheap by attacking people in the gonads, or biting their necks to try and bite a piece off. She'll even go on all fours or be hunched over when "standing up". With how brutal and untrustworthy she is when seeing enemy from friend and vice-versa, she's kept in a tight cage.
4) Black Rose, her sexy side. She talks in a permanent "I'm going to make you swoon" kind of voice and walks like she owns the stage. She doesn't care who sees if she flaunts her body, and loves attention. She's the reason why Mara wears scandalous clothing. She taunts people with her body and callous remarks to their own appearance and their behavior. She doesn't lose her smarts when on this side, but she likes to play dumb. She's on a bit of a tighter leash than the combat sado-masochist side, but can still roam free if Mara lets her delve to that side of her.
5) Combat Sado-Masochist side is a side that is more brutal than Sheila, and she will use any kind of method/weapon to severely hurt someone, even if it means the objective will have to wait for her fun-time to end. When she gets hurt or when she hurts someone, she giggles with glee and will even hurt Mara's friends/family. She's in another cage, a tighter cage than the one Sheila's in (don't worry, I'll keep this at a minimum).

Then there's C.O., the Omni that resides within Mara. He is a complete entity all on his own, and has his own personality. The only moral these two have that neither can trust Overwatch or Talon and will fight against them with their life. He has to preserve Mara and has grown to be quite protective of his vessel, but Mara suspects it is for his own betterment. He is very reserved and, like a robot, extremely logical and likes to give chances in percentages. He is very strategical though, and will help protect Mara if she is ever knocked out or asleep at the time, moving her body as if it were his own. He can only move her body if she is unable to, and can kill her off if he wants to. The fact that he hasn't yet has caused Mara to think that he has a mission, which is why she can't join Overwatch or Talon unless it is for his mission. She can't access his thoughts, but C.O. can access hers, which can be scary. If Mara does something that C.O. is against, he'll cause his own armor to become brittle and will try his best to slow her down and make her turn the other way if he needs to, or make her get hit, or stun her with the battery that is strapped on her back. Despite their conflicts, they work great together, with each other looking out for one another, but it all seems like a need more-so than they like each other.
Weapon: 12 Shurikens, two Samurai-style vibro-swords (vibrating swords), clawed gloves with razors on every joint; can use the battery on her back to charge herself with electricity and she can either hurl electricity by use of Omnic supports or increase the damage output of her other weapons.
Passive Ability:
  • Electric Absorption - She can absorb electricity and it is stored in the cells of the chest piece and sometimes the arms and legs if all the cells are full in the chest piece. She can only do this if C.O. is activated. If deactivated, she can't store electricity, but it more or less harmlessly bounces off of her body or goes through her without damaging her too much.
  • My Turn - When Mara is down and unable to use her body, C.O. will take control of her body and try to fight off what is left of the enemy or flee. He can only take control of her for a couple of minutes before he deactivates, plenty of time for him to push her body to the mettle as he runs and finds a safe place to hide or kill everyone left standing. Depending on how much her muscles have been pushed, she'll feel very weak when she wakes up, and C.O. has to deactivate to restore his energy. This can be restored by absorbing electricity.
Abilities (Max 3):
  • Thunder Jolt - After absorbing enough electricity, she can hit the battery strapped to her back and can unleash a jolt of electricity towards anyone she stretches her arm out. After this, all the electricity will go away from the battery and she has to recharge it again before using it. It causes enough damage to cause 3rd degree burns and shock the person's system long enough for them to get dazed (like a really powerful tazer). 50 dmg with an 8 second cooldown.
  • Flurry Fighting - After having her muscle's speed and power increase tenfold by the electricity coursing through her veins, her attacks and dodges are faster and she can keep up with a car going 30 mph (48 km/h) (13 meters per second). However, if she doesn't use this ability to get away, her muscles won't work anymore and will cause her to collapse, as her physical body will begin to deteriorate if she does anymore physical activities. She needs to rest after using this ability too much or for too long. If she is careful, she can keep it on for 5 seconds at a time before she deems it enough. Her stamina also will decrease faster, making her tired faster, which could be detrimental for her performance. Lasts up to 5 seconds. 15 second cooldown.
  • Electrify - Electrifies weapons and body, dealing more damage. This lasts for 15 seconds when fully charged.
These abilities have to be approved by both Mara and C.O. before these can be unleashed, which means that if one wants to do it while the other one doesn't, their ability won't activate.
Ultimate: Overcharge - After absorbing way too much energy, the Omni's energy within her will absorb what it can and make the potential energy build up. After a few moments, C.O. will let it all out, creating a large electrical field to encompass 5 meters radius and damage (80 damage upon initial impact then 5 damage per second afterwards) anyone within range and also causing a minor buff (20%) for Mara, making her attacks electrified and her muscles quick. When Mara is like this, she loses all sense of self and becomes one with the Omni in her, and will become heartless and brutal in her attacks, and will go for the mission as the Omni had planned. After this ultimate is over, her buff goes away and Mara will collapse, with C.O. unable to take her away. This is the last resort. This Ultimate will only last 10 seconds
Others: She finds McCree hot and has a thing for guys like him. Although, her Omni won't allow any kind of relations with the man. Poor, Mara.

She has short blonde hair, is 5'00" (1.5 m) and weighs 165 lbs (74.8 kg). Without her bottom half, she'd be 80 lbs (36.3 kg). She lost half of her body in an accident, causing her to need some assistance. She used to have a black wheelchair, but now she has a pair of legs and a tail, that is connected to her sacrum and lower nerves (with some neural surgery to help her legs and tail to function, but they couldn't surgically help her balance, hence why she has a tail), to help support her and her slightly screwed up spine. She has pale skin and blue eyes, with her cheeks having a permanent blush.

Her raptor legs have plates that are light blue and white. These plates are where the muscles would be, with chinks between the plates that show off her wiring. Her velociraptor talons are extremely sharp, so she does her best to keep them away from anything vital, unless she's attacking someone with them. The legs have a medical 'plus' symbol with the two snakes for health surrounding it on each outer thigh.

She has a lab coat that covers the top portion of her thighs with its length, with pockets that hold her medicinal supplies and she usually carries around a clipboard with a pen when she's going around the facility, checking off notes about the residents that is medically related. She's also got vials strapped to this belt filled with the same substance to splash a large group of enemies. She has a little teleporter within the hidden pocket of her lab coat, which teleports extra caustic syringe rounds, vials, and healing potions to her.

Her tail has rings plating the entirety of the tail's inner portions, keeping everything in one and to help keep it as prehensile as possible. It is sturdy enough to smack someone back quite a ways and aid in hopping about like a spring or grabbing on to a ledge or bar that her arms can't reach. The top portion of the tail is a light blue while the bottom portion is white.
Personality: She's a strange one. Her mind is filled with useful ways to help her team, but most of her experiments are either ethically wrong, or they go awry. The only success she had would be making her Buffing Healing Potion (she has one of) and her caustic venom she took from snakes, plants, spiders, and scorpions to get the her ideal caustic venom. It took over 15 years to make both of these, but she was able finally use them in battle, with the help of Symmetra's cute little pocket teleporter.

She's super blunt and cold at times, preferring to always tell the truth than lie (unless it's the opposing forces, then she'll throw around white lies). She tends to follow people around she deems interesting, but when confronted about her stalking behavior she ignores them and just starts to take notes about their emotional (or lack of) response to her behavior.

Despite this, she's quite useful in the medical field and will treat the wounds to the best of her ability. She doesn't want to end up losing another one, so she does her best to help with anything. She is known for dodging straight into attacks, even though she's not strong enough to withstand most of them, to give people time to leave. Her selfless behavior tends to turn a few heads when these people have experienced her stalking first hand. If she finds herself unable to take another hit, she will use her raptor legs and tail to take the people away and find them a safe place, so she can tend to their wounds.
Weapon: Her raptor legs and tail and a poisonous syringe gun. Her syringes, when hitting the enemy, leaks caustic venom which can weaken and melt both metal and flesh enough for others to get a quick hit on them, and also causes gradual damage.
Passive Ability: Raptor Agility - She is quite quick on her new legs, and can cover short distances fairly quickly. Although, if her legs are damaged in any way, she will lose this ability. If her tail is damaged, she can't run as quickly, for if she does she'll fall or head in some other direction.

  • Raptor Jump/Pounce - If not going to hit an enemy, she can use her powerful legs to jump tall buildings. The max she can jump would be 15 feet (4.6 m). Her powerful talons can also help her scale a building if she hooks on and jumps again. If she's going to hit an enemy, she can either pounce to close horizontal distance, or jump high in the air and close vertical distance. The latter is more powerful, since all 165 lbs of her is falling on someone, plus the powerful talons she has can crush bones with ease and dent some armor. The former wouldn't be as powerful, but she can shoot a point blank syringe at their body, fully exploiting their weak necks.
  • Vial Throw - She can throw her vials at a group of people. The splash will cause glass and the caustic venom to weaken and hurt a large number of people gradually. Its splash radius is 1 meter (3'03"). She has three, and they replenish every 45 seconds.
  • Weakness Reveal - Because of her medical training, she can tell what weak qualities the person has that they should target. Be it how they fight, how their body moves, what they leave open in a fight, etc. She can either keep this info to herself or tell others about it.
Ultimate: Buffing Healing Potion - A huge vial is procured from within her hidden pocket in her lab coat. She splashes the potion on ground near her friends. All of her friends in a 2.5 meter radius (8'02") will be hit with the healing contents and will heal all small-moderate wounds gradually. The other buffing content of this potion will cause everyone's skin to harden for a bit, raising their defenses by 10% and increase their vitality (HP) by 15%. This lasts for 10 seconds. She has one and will be replenished every minute.
Others: She doesn't see the need for romantic relationships, so she can appear blunt or cold to anyone who tries to do anything with her.

Has a black halter top and black leggings, the halter top having her own symbol: Two samurai-style vibro-swords through a skull, with a clawed glove grabbing the cranium from above. She has strips of leather along her sides, which are held together with a buckle strap around her waist. The strips hold her shurikens in little pouches that easily conceal the shurikens and make it easy for her to fling them out. She has two sword sheaths for her swords and then loops for her bo-staff. She has clips for her clawed gloves right underneath the sword sheaths. She has loops of belts that go down her thighs and wrap around them. They have throwing daggers on them, sheathed. She has a loop between her gloves and swords to store a battery for her usage. She has thin biker gloves that make room for her other gloves. She has a slit in her right thigh with a pocket for her motorbike key.

Her Omnic armor comes in four parts. There is the comms system, where it can tap into enemy communication lines to the expense of them figuring out someone is listening in and can cause her location to be known if they have that sort of technology. The Omni can also talk to her in private and has a built-in mic. It is a little earpiece that extends out to her left eye and can be used as a visor to relay information about the area, as well as read Omnicode. The next part is her vitals system. This is where the Omnic entity resides. The Omni can sense the health status of Mara and can suggest a course of action. If his patience is growing thin, he'll take matters into his own hands and will control the other two parts that I will explain next. It is a piece that looks similar in design to Tracer's chest piece, but instead of a blue time manipulator, it is an orb that encases a bright light. This bright light is said to be the "soul" of an Omni, but Mara knows it is just LEDs and power capacitors that hold electricity, and these shine brighter if she's storing more electricity. It is integrated to her body. On her arms are gauntlets that make room for her clawed gloves. They look similar to Tracer's gauntlets, but are integrated to her body and are slimmer for more aerodynamics. She also has boots that are integrated to her legs. These boots and gauntlets allow for faster reflexes and added protection, as well as better channel the electricity through her body. All of the Omnic parts are painted black, with some gold showing through in some spots.

Since the Omnic armor is tapped to her nervous system and when cut apart, people can see her nerves light up blue from the Omni overcharging her nerves.

When on her motorcycle, she has a stylish black and red helmet with her symbol with a visor that helps protect against the sun's rays and sand/dirt/glass so she can see.

(Despite all the creativity here, i would like to request you to change this to your two primary weapons. Just for balance and stuff. The electrical stuff are fine. Just change it to keep one primary weapon and a secondary weapon. Recommended is one melee, the other long-ranged.)
Passive Ability: Omnic Energy = While C.O. is active and awake, he can make Mara seem like an Omni with his passive Omnic Energy, making nearby Omnic robots (if there are even any) read her as another Omni. When people scan her, instead of a human showing up, they'll see Omnic Energy radiating from her, like she is some kind of hyper-realistic android. Even though this is a passive ability, C.O. has to be awake in order for this to be active. Once C.O. is deactivated, people can read Mara like she is human, and she can no longer absorb electricity. This ability can also aid in allowing Mara to absorb electrical energy to activate her other abilities. If reaching the max, her ultimate can be released. (There's nothing of the sort within the Overwatch but we can make this work somehow or if you would like, feel free to change it)

It's within your arsenal as weapons, but boosting your weapons with electricity would be an ability and not necessarily part of your weapon arsenal. Just a recommendation. If not then I'll continue with the edits: 50 dmg with an 8 second cooldown. No need for her to be numb or anything, just put it on cooldown and she can use it again after a while lol)

Ok this may be heavily edited, but again, I'm making these edits to IN-GAME BALANCES. It's just for more balancing within the roleplay. Of course in the roleplay, most of these things would be heavily increased and more open. Like the cooldown can't be just under 10 seconds, that wouldn't be viable for a real life fight.
