A mountain splits open, and an orchestra flares to life, unleashing a bird of flame and lava onto an unsuspecting World. It leaves destruction and chaos in its wake, and it takes flight, seeking more worlds to destroy. Far away, a Keyblade Master senses this mobile disaster, and sends Keyblade Knights to investigate.
So @Rex and I have been up to our usual tricks plotting stuff and we bring this to you.
This RP will take place in the times between the Keyblade War and the events of Birth By Sleep, when Keyblade wielders are not commonplace, but not yet a rarity.
We've lined up thirteen worlds, but two are largely relevant to this discussion, first
THE LAND OF DEPARTURE
Home to our story's primary Keyblade Master, Master Renwood. If your character should be a Keyblade wielder, they can either be independent from the local formal Keyblade knighthood or begin as an apprentice of Master Renwood and be sent by him to investigate a disturbance at
SYMPHONY OF SORCERY
Where the villain of our piece originates, the Firebird of Fantasia 2000's Firebird Suite short erupts from a volcano on this world, causing significant damage before it begins its flight among the worlds, bringing more destruction to any world it arrives on.
As far as playable characters, Somebodies, both Keyblade wielder and non, and Nobodies are both acceptable, but because Heartless are inherently opposed to the light and require unusual circumstances to be intelligent and humanoid, they are not.
